What stands out: Great service and a greeting from the kitchen (actually two and both very tasty).

A trip to Bad Rothenfelde took us to the Siedehaus at lunchtime. We encountered a pleasant atmosphere and attentive service. The menu isn't too extensive, which is good, but there should still be something for all tastes. In any case, we enjoyed it for the most part, there is only one caveat: the wild asparagus served with the salmon had only been in the pan VERY SHORTLY and was therefore very hard. Mushy vegetables aren't nice, but they should be cooked. The service took up the criticism and there was a small compensation.

We were there on a Friday evening without a reservation. The food was really very tasty and high quality. We found the little greeting from the kitchen CousCous salad very tasty and thoughtful. The service was a bit slow even though the restaurant wasn't busy...but still very friendly. The furnishings were too sterile for us, that certain something was missing for coziness, but that's also a matter of taste. Definitely worth a visit for the food.

We were at the Siedehaus for dinner on Sunday, July 4, 24. The reservation was easy and we received a very friendly welcome and were escorted to our table. The restaurant itself has a rather modern impression and is furnished with attention to detail. The service was quick at the table and informed us about the specials in a friendly and competent manner. Particularly worth mentioning is the tapas menu where you can enter which and how many tapas you would like, and brief information about the individual dishes is also given. After placing our order, we received our food after a very reasonable wait. Everything was attractively presented and of good quality. The portions are plentiful and well balanced. The greeting from the kitchen was particularly worth mentioning: the couscous was light and very tasty, a compliment to the kitchen. All in all, a successful evening in a nice atmosphere and with good food. We'll definitely come back again.

We were here on Sunday July 14th, 2024 with two people at 5 p.m. Very nice, attentive and courteous service, absolutely delicious and beautifully presented food, delicious homemade refreshing lemonade and tea, so there was really nothing to complain about here, every wish was fulfilled. We can only recommend it, if we are in the area again we will definitely come back here.

Last night the three of us and two small children had dinner at the Siedehaus. The service was very friendly and also friendly towards the children. For starters we had various tapas. We came to the SIEDEHAUS quite spontaneously for dinner. The restaurant is in a top location with a great view of the salt pans. The hall is beautifully modern furnished. The atmosphere is very inviting. The service was very friendly and accommodating. The menu is small, but well put together. The dishes are beautifully and modernly prepared and are really convincing. A highlight was the tartare on the salt stone. The only point of criticism or wish would be that the kitchen would be a little braver when it comes to seasoning. All in all a great evening. I think there aren't many restaurants between Bielefeld and Osnabrück that can keep up

We spent, once again, a wonderful evening in the Siedehaus. The very tasty food in a beautiful atmosphere and the always friendly service ensured that we felt completely at home and would be happy to come back.

We were there with several people and everyone, really everyone, was thrilled. Absolutely recommended. Service, ambience and the food just fit together. Added to this is the view of a saltworks in Bad Rothenfelde. If you want to eat delicious food, you should definitely make a detour here .

The Siedehaus is highly recommended, the dishes are very specially prepared and absolutely delicious. The highlight for us was the dessert “Toffifee in a glass with caramel sauce”. Divine! We sat and ate and drank great, a great evening.

The Siedehaus is definitely a culinary highlight! I was thrilled by the diverse selection of dishes and the outstanding quality of the ingredients. The ambience is cozy and inviting, perfect for a relaxing evening. The service was exceptionally friendly and attentive. I was particularly impressed by the creativity and sophistication with which the dishes were prepared. My personal highlight was the steak with mashed potatoes, simply delicious! An absolute must for all foodies!

We went there for our first anniversary and really couldn't have picked a better restaurant. All in all, I've never had such a great meal and would definitely recommend it to everyone! Cozy atmosphere, unparalleled service and incredible food To get a little detailed, which is simply deserved here: The whole team was really warm, motivated and incredibly accommodating (we were given a cozy, undisturbed corner for the occasion and were really congratulated from the bottom of our hearts). Rarely have I seen such great service. The food was at least as good, tasted incredibly tasty and the great quality of the products in the excellently considered dishes tasted simply fantastic. I named every dish I ordered as my new favorite meal and was really sad when the plate was empty. During the course of the evening there were 3 delicious greetings from the kitchen. We've never experienced this before and it's another plus point. One of them included potato salad, which I liked here for the first time in my life. The homemade praline at the end alone would be worth the visit. We really had absolutely nothing to criticize. We'll definitely come back more often and can't wait!

We celebrated our son's baptism here a few months ago. I didn't actually want to write a review, but that day still annoys me to no end. The food was ordered in advance, only for two vegetarians should it be ordered à la card on site. The number of people and, above all, the number of children and their ages were stated in advance. We also want a long table. When we arrived there we found two separate tables set. The children (10,5,3,2 years) should sit separately at the table alone. I'm sorry, but that's complete nonsense in a restaurant with small children. When it came to eating, the vegetarians were not offered a menu. When we asked, they tried to dismiss it and said: “They could eat the vegetables from the plate that we ordered”. We didn't agree with that and were allowed to order from the menu. We had been sitting there for over half an hour and still didn't have a starter (soup, which we had already ordered long in advance when planning). The children slowly became restless, tired and hungry. They started to walk around the restaurant a bit (always under supervision). The waitress then came to us in a rude manner, told us to go into the cordoned off area (you could only walk around the table) and locked the mobile walls. To do this, she took our stroller (which contained the christening presents) in front of the mobile door without consulting us, so that we could no longer see it. I'm sorry, but if I accept a reservation with a few children in advance and then don't manage to provide the table with pre-ordered food in a timely manner, it won't be our children's fault if they become impatient. Then you should make the other guests who come to the lunch table aware in advance that there is an event with children, or simply plan the catering process better, especially since there was apparently an insufficient flow of information about our wishes regarding vegetarians. The whole thing still annoys me months later and it should be noted that the food there is also in the upper price segment. At the baptism of our first child, we celebrated elsewhere with the same price range and the process went smoothly and there were no problems with the children, unfortunately they did not offer lunch on the planned day. If you can't handle something like that properly, you're unfortunately not allowed to accept baptism requests. I found the food tasty, but it was probably a little less so for the vegetarians (according to their statements), but because of this anti-child behavior we wouldn't come back. I'm really still disappointed! Children are our future! These should be treated with respect and not “locked away”.

Dear Sidehouse team! Your friendly welcome, table service and unexpected ambience, alongside the innovative cuisine, led me to give you 5 stars. In a health resort where the guests literally grow back on their own, you can enjoy escaping everyday rehabilitation life...and then being so pleasantly surprised! Quality has its price, I'm not looking for quantity...even though my fish just missed the au point, I can only recommend this restaurant!

We were there on Christmas Day. It was announced over the phone that there would be 2 vegans out of 15 reserved places. Since it was Christmas, there were only menus, which wasn't a big deal. Unfortunately, the price-performance ratio wasn't right at all. We (had to) order the vegetarian menu in vegan as there was no other choice. The starter would normally have been a soup, but it wasn't vegan, so we got the beetroot gazpacho from another menu. The goat cheese was simply left out, there were no more beetroot. The portion size really left a lot to be desired. The main course consisted of ravioli, which were labeled as homemade, I'm sure I recognized them from a well-known discount chain. The sauce tasted very much like yeast flakes and broth powder. The dessert, on the other hand, was the highlight of the meal and there is nothing wrong with that. All in all, the portion size was puny, the main course was very bland and all for a mere 45 euros! The timing and service were very good, but I'm definitely used to a different price/performance ratio from the Lippstadt area! The atmosphere was rather cool and I didn't feel particularly comfortable. A log fire on a big screen didn't make it much better...

Even though it wasn't officially open yet, they let us in and we were even allowed to have a drink. Very nice staff and atmosphere. We'll definitely go out for dinner next weekend.

We had a very, very nice and particularly delicious evening! Many thanks to the really great service and of course the kitchen for the delicious food! From the starter - a pea-ginger soup and a tartare, to a greeting from the kitchen - Brussels sprouts in parmesan foam, a bread basket with a house-made herb dip over a schnitzel and vegetarian ravioli with a pesto pine nut filling - everything was really the best and incredibly delicious! Prices are really more than reasonable for the quality of the food, the incredibly beautiful ambience and a very, very attentive and incredibly professional and friendly staff! Many thanks to the entire team, we can really recommend the Siedehaus to everyone, even for me as a vegetarian it's no problem at all :)

We received a voucher for Christmas from our children and were here for the first time. I have to say, we were more than satisfied! We had tel. asked about the Christmas buffet at the Siedehaus, the answer was that it takes place at Genuss Werk. I then asked whether a voucher from the Siedehaus could also be redeemed there. Answer: Of course, the food also comes from the Siedehaus! We were there today, the buffet was unfortunately only warm, the selection was unsatisfactory to poor considering the price! And then we were told that the INFO from the Siedehaus didn't apply, it doesn't work with a voucher! That's not how things should work with good communication, so we can't recommend either!

Tolles Ambiente,nette Atmosphäre allerdings waren die Portionen zu klein. Für durchschnittlich 24 Euro pro Portion ,sollte man erwarten können das es ausreicht um satt zu werden . Ich komme selber aus der Gastronomie und kenne das Preis Leistungsverhältnis,mein Fazit überdurchschnittlich teuer.

Sehr leckere Speisen auf gehobenem Nivau. Außergewöhnliche Kompositionen und besondere Auswahl. Wir haben dort unsere Weihnachtsfeier verbracht und es war ein schöner Abend. Gemütliches Ambiente mit Blick auf die Saline. Gerne wieder!

Sehr gut! Der letzte Besuch ist zwar schon ein paar Monate her, aber: Hier stimmt alles. Die Speisekarte ist klein und fein, nicht zu Überladen. Die Gerichte sind der Jahreszeit angepasst, enthält aber auch ein paar Klassiker. Der Service ist sehr freundlich und das Ambiente ist auch sehr angenehm und modern. Das Essen selber ist gut angerichtet und schmeckt auch sehr gut. Hier erhält man den Eindruck, dass wirklich alles aus frischen Zutaten gemacht wird. Das ist heutzutage schon eine kleine Seltenheit. Komme gerne wieder.

Wir waren heute hier zu dritt zum Abendessen zu Gast. Die Reservierung lief problemlos über die Homepage. Wir wurden sehr nett Empfangen und zu unserem Tisch geführt. Der Gastraum ist recht hell und hat eine hohe Decke, was für unser Empfinden die Gemütlichkeit etwas eingeschränkt hat. Im Rahmen der Möglichkeiten der Räumlichkeit war das Restaurant jedoch liebevoll und festlich hergerichtet. Besonders hervorheben möchte ich unsere tolle Bedienung. So freundlich, herzlich und gleichzeitig professionell wurde ich selten bewirtet. Die Dame ist sehr emphatisch auf unsere 7 jährige Tochter eingegangen und meine Frau und mich toll bewirtet und uns jeden Wunsch erfüllt. Könnte ich für den Service 6 Sterne gegen wäre das gerechtfertigt. Ich hatte das Gänsemenü, meine Frau den Hirsch und unsere Tochter Chicken Krossies (was auch sonst…) und wir alle waren sehr zufrieden. Alle Speisen waren toll angerichtet und lecker und dazu hatte wir einen tollen Wein. Preis-Leistung hat gestimmt. Wir hatten einen tollen und entspannten Abend und kommen gerne wieder wenn wir in der Gegend sind.

Schönes modern eingerichtetes Lokal mit exzellentem Service und super leckerem Essen. An alle wird hier gedacht, z.B. sind unter den Tischen klappbare Halter für Gehhilfen angebracht. Ein Aufzug ist vorhanden. Die freundliche Begrüßung am Eingang stimmt auf einen schönen Aufenthalt ein. Das Essen wird frisch zubereitet, Änderungswünsche hervorragend umgesetzt.

Tja, ein Abschluss mit zahlreichen positiven Überraschungen. Das Restaurant besticht durch ein sehr harmonisches und stilvolles Ambiente, welches zugleich einfach edel und einladend auf mich wirkte. Der Service ist überwältigend. Das Personal überzeugt durch ein sehr aufmerksames und seriöses Auftreten. Die Gäste werden allesamt freundlich begrüßt und verabschiedet.Zudem gibt es für jeden Gast eine kleine Vor/-Nachspeise. Ein wundervoller Abschluss in Bad Rothenfelde. Nun reise ich wieder heim nach Hildesheim. ❤️Dank.

immer freundliches und fachlich kompetentes Personal. Das Essen ist immer frisch, lecker und besonders. Das Ambiente ist modern, gemütlich im Sommer wie im Winter. Bei angenehmen Temperaturen sollte man sich auf die schöne Dach-Terrasse setzen mit Blick auf die Salinen. Wir fahren mehrfach im Jahr über 50km um dort zu essen. Die Nachtische sind besonders zu empfehlen :)!

Sowohl das Essen als auch der Service war auf sehr hohem Niveau. Ich war nur ein Mal dort. Das Restaurant war relativ leer. Dadurch war die Atmosphäre nicht perfekt. Trotzdem eine absolute Empfehlung in Bad Rothenfelde und Umgebung.

Wir haben wieder einmal einen sehr angenehmen Abend im Siedehaus verbracht. Der Service ist Freund und sehr aufmerksam ohne aufdringlich zu sein, dass Essen ist ambitioniert und hochwertig ohne überkandidelt zu wirken. Koch und Service wissen, wie‘s geht! Das Ambiente ist von der etwas unglücklichen 1980er Architektur bestimmt. Auf dieser Grundlage geht’s vermutlich nicht besser. Insgesamt sehr zu empfehlen!

Glatte 5 Sterne und nicht weniger! Kommt heut zu Tage selten vor aber hier kann man nur 5 Sterne vergeben. Sollten Sie immer noch überlegen, wo Sie in Bad Rothenfelde essen gehen wollen, gehen Sie hier hin. Für mich war es das erste mal im Siedehaus und ich muss sagen, dass bereits der erste Eindruck nicht von schlechten Eltern war. Wir wurden direkt nach Betreten des Restaurants herzlich begrüßt und zu unserem Platz begleitet. Das Ambiente ist spitze. Super angenehme Beleuchtung, passende und nicht aufdringliche Dekoration. Die Musik in perfekter Lautstärke: Man kann sich super gut unterhalten und dennoch ist im Hintergrund durch die ruhige Musik eine super entspannte Atmosphäre. Speisekarten kamen sofort; genau so schnell wie unsere im Anschluss bestellten Getränke. Selbst der Hund bekam einen Napf mit Wasser! Die Speisekarte bot für jeden Geschmack etwas und war sogar an die Jahreszeit angepasst! Nun zum wichtigsten: dem Essen. Und ich kann nur schwärmen, nicht eine einzige negative Anmerkung kann man hier stellen. Als appetizer selbst gebackenes Brot mit Dip (auch mein Eistee war selbstgemacht!!); einen Gruß aus der Küche; der Vorspeisenteller war eine perfekte Mischung aus allem, was das Herz bei Vorspeisen begehrt. Die Hauptspeise war genau so gut, wenn nicht sogar besser. Mit Liebe gemacht, das konnte man bei jedem Bissen schmecken. Für den Nachtisch hat es nicht mehr gereicht, die Portionen waren also ebenfalls angemessen. Und least but not last: Der Service. Super nett, hat sich stets um uns gekümmert, ohne aufdringlich zu sein. Wenn jemand mit Spaß und Freude seinen Job erledigt überträgt sich das gleich mit auf einen selbst. Danke dafür! Fazit muss ich hier nicht geben, die 5 Sterne sprechen für sich selbst!

Schlechtes Preis/Leistungsverhältnis. Kleine Portionen, das. Schnitzel aus der Heissluftfriteuse, kein Gemüse, eine winzige Portion Gurkensalat und eine Handvoll Fritten. Das bestellte Mineralwasser war Tafelwasser aus einer Karaffe für 2,50 Euro. Das Restaurant ist eher eine Luxuspommesbude. Sehr schade, das könnte man besser machen.

Restaurant ist etwas schwierig zu finden, aber wenn man einmal dort ist, geht man nicht mehr unzufrieden raus. Sehr nette Mitarbeiter, leckere Speisen & Getränke, gerne wieder!

Sehr gutes Essen wird durch ein sehr zuvorkommenden Service an einem Platz angeboten, der zum Verweilen einlädt. Ruhe, Freundlichkeit und Genuss! Alles gut.

Ich kann nichts Negatives berichten.

Das Sidehaus bietet eine solide, bodenständige Küche. Der Service ist sehr freundlich, die Atmosphäre wird etwas steril / schlicht, es könnte ohne viel Aufwand gemütlicher sein. Geschmacklich war es ok, wir hatten allerdings etwas mehr erwartet. Guter Durchschnitt. Preis- / Leistungverhältnis gerade noch ok. Man könnte deutlich mehr daraus machen.

Naja das Essen nicht heiss vom Geschmack naja ich gehe dafür lieber in ne pommesbude. Der Service war allerdings ok nett und freundlich

Goed gegeten bij Seidehaus. Onze keuze viel op de Bad Rothefelde visschotel en de Angus braadworst met heerlijke aardappelpuree en gebakken zuurkool. De desserts waren erg lekker. De porties waren opvallend niet-Duits en de eindrekening was stevig.

Es ist immer besonders und schön. Der Blick auf die Lichtsicht Triennale vom Tisch aus, die sehr gemütliche und wertige Atmosphäre, der supernette Service und die sensationelle Küche machen jeden Besuch zu einem Erlebnis. Wir mögen das Restaurant und die Menschen sehr gerne.

Das erste Mal in Bad Rothenfelde wollten wir mit der Mutter einfach nur schön draussen an den Salinen sitzen. Haben die ebenerdige Gastronomie am Siedehaus ausgesucht und aus der wirklich sehr eingeschränkten Karte die Ofenkartoffel und die Burger ausgesucht. Was soll ich sagen? Erwartet hatte ich Kurpromenaden-Nepp, bekommen haben wir einen ausgezeichneten Burgern und eine schmackhafte Kartoffel. Überraschend gut.

Eine wohltuende und nicht mehr wegzudenkende Institution im Herzen von Bad Rothenfelde! Tolle Gerichte, tolles Team und eine prima Geschäftsführung! Die können was und die machen was. Und sie sind noch nicht fertig mit ihrer Kreativität! Klasse!
