Soooo delicious food, we're happy to come back 80km (combined with a nice walk at the salt pans).

We were on a short visit to the graduation towers and happened to end up at Leiv & Seele. The quality of the food was consistently convincing. Great. I would love to eat there again on my next visit.

Good portions, fair price, only I got a not so good schnitzel (a bit tough and small pieces of gristle). Otherwise the goulash soup is bomb, unfortunately it was out. Otherwise everything is tasty, from burgers to schnitzel.

The classic citizen at “Leib & Seele” was a pleasure. The juicy patty, the fresh ingredients and the crispy bun harmonized perfectly. The service was friendly and the atmosphere cozy. A must for all burger lovers!

Rating for love and soul I recently had the pleasure of dining at the “Lieb und Seele” restaurant in Bad Rothenfelde and it was a wonderful experience. Of particular note is the burger, which really impressed me. The burger was relatively crispy and had an aromatic smoky flavor that went perfectly with the flavor of the meat. The court's presentation was also remarkable. The plate was elongated and design-oriented, which gave the dish an additional aesthetic touch. It was truly a delight, not only in terms of taste but also visually. The service was excellent. We were asked several times if we liked it and I felt cared for and well looked after. Everything was fine. I found the drink prices a little excessive, but the price of the food was absolutely acceptable. Overall, the price-performance ratio was very good. Overall, the food was excellently prepared and there was a lot to admire. I can recommend “Love and Soul” to anyone looking for a culinary experience that pleases both the palate and the eye.

Food ok. Service unfriendly. There’s certainly a better way!

The food is completely fine. It tasted good and the portions were good too. A bit more advice (or more extensive description on the map) would be helpful. Without this, we now had a large "side salad" and an extra salad because no one told us that the side salad was really big. The toilets were clean, the staff was friendly, so everything was actually great. The bratwurst variations are funny (but we didn't try them).

Die bestellten Gerichte waren sehr lecker und besonders die Suppen haben gut geschmeckt. Auch Schnitzel, Försterspieß und Burger waren perfekt und auf der Grillplatte gebraten. Wir haben alles telefonisch bestellt und 30 Minuten später abholen können. Freundlicher Service und angemessene Preise werden uns wieder hierher zurück bringen.

Unfortunately after many years I have to downgrade my rating..... Food is miserable, service "is okay"... So cheap snack for a lot of money... Sorry. Simply disgusting.

There were four of us and we ordered 4 meals and different drinks. A homemade drink didn't taste good and we wanted to order a different drink. We didn't get another drink, even though we wanted to pay for the previous drink. The waiter refused, saying that it could happen again because they were homemade drinks and were made with a lot of work. We wanted to pay for everything and was completely unfriendly. The boss didn't want to know anything about it and could write a review.

Yesterday our children received such an unfriendly welcome that we immediately ran away.

Wir bekamen einen Waldmeistersaft, der ungenießbar war und wollten ihn bezahlen und ein neues Getränk bestellen aber der Kellner hat es abgelehnt und wollte meiner Frau kein neues Getränk bringen, da es ihr vielleicht auch nicht geschmeckt hätte. Der Chef wollte sich meine Kritik nicht einmal anhören. Nie wieder!

Essen ist fürchterlich.... Service versucht nett zu sein, aber schaffen es nicht... Industriewahre, billigste, Reibekuchen aus Kartoffelbrei und dunkel braun frittiert dazu Apfelmus wie Babybrei mit Kristallzucker. Also billige Imbiss wahren für viel Geld... Nicht zum empfehlen.

Unfortunately I was very disappointed today. I had ordered wedges and wanted to have 2 fried eggs on the wedges. Unfortunately, this request was canceled because the wedges are only served in a wire basket. That was fine with me too and so I placed the order. The waiter who served us then went to the cook and made fun of her about my “weird” order. The food was just average. The day before, I had already ordered a portion of fries from the to-go window. I was served so cheekily by a visibly annoyed person that I was glad I ordered take-away. Apparently the store didn't want to take advantage of the second chance either, so I'll probably never set foot in it again.

Worst service. My wife and I, who sit in a wheelchair, were forbidden from eating the goods we bought at the window and eating them at the table next to us. When asked, the VAT difference was stated, although the price in the store was the same. Naughty and stupid. That's it. Thank you for that. Then we ate on the bench opposite at the bus stop.

We walked to you from the ice cream parlor next door. Everyone had a scoop of ice cream and we would have liked to finish our ice cream at your table outside and then order something from you. Then the waiter came and asked us unkindly: what are we planning to do here? We would like to have the menu, his statement then please leave the table and eat your ice cream somewhere else. So excuse me, what country do we live in, what's the difference between whether we finish our ice cream at the table and order it or get up and stand in the corner next to the restaurant? The waiter's statement: "We are not an ice cream parlor!" Sorry but that's impossible. Lost customers, we won't come back so quickly after being kicked out.

I've come here a few times. Then I drank a coffee. I ate there on May 3rd, 2024. The food tasted really good. On the less pleasant side: Two young girls made taking the order an experience. Poor communication and later problems when paying due to incorrect money being returned is still understandable. The present boss is different. He made a disrespectful and, due to a mishap, condescending comment that was condescending to my detriment. I was able to find out at a neighboring table that he can do it differently. (were probably friends) Two stars because of the food. I won't go there again

The service is really super nice. The location is great and the food is okay, solid average. The prices are local and I enjoy being here and would be happy to come back.

I like going to Germany. The vast majority of people there are friendly. But I can only call the staff of this business very unfriendly. We ordered two fries. My girlfriend prefers the sauce not above the fries, but next to it. So I asked if that was possible. We were laughed at as if we were asking something very ridiculous. There was a whole explanation as to why that was not possible. But if one had wanted, it was of course perfectly possible. It was just a matter of not wanting to. But that wasn't the only thing. Because we had already walked quite a few kilometers that day, my girlfriend sat down while we waited for the order. They were shouted at that it was 'to go' and that they were not allowed to sit. My girlfriend stood up and then I was given another explanation that we were not allowed to sit there. I suspect there are too many tourists here. Otherwise you can't afford that kind of behavior. By the way, the fries tasted great. But the service left a bitter aftertaste.

Except for the worn chairs, everything was great! And since I sit on the chairs (so I can't see them) and the food is always good and fresh, 5 stars. I recommend this place. I always go there when I'm in Bad Rothenfelde. Great staff 🥰

Good snack bar with a large selection of meals. The service was friendly and the food was delivered quickly. The prices were also reasonable. We liked it here.

We had a huge fries to go! Freshly prepared, super tasty and almost impossible to make. Despite the huge queue in front of the ticket office, everything went quickly thanks to the super competent and very friendly service staff. Gladly again

There isn't always time to be out of the house. Great if you have an extra 25 km drive and are looking forward to a hot dog. Simply hang a cardboard sign in the window. Customer-friendly is different. The staff behind the counter were taciturn and unfriendly.

Body and soul rather unfriendly to stressed. From the outside and inside it looks very nice, just a modern snack bar. But then you can see that the chairs show very strong signs of wear (don't think they intentionally have a “used look”). We were served by three ladies. One of them was extremely stressed and everything came across as unfriendly. The other two were friendly. Unfortunately, some of our orders were recorded incorrectly. They then tried to offer us the wrong dish several times, but were rejected. Because the kitchen is open, you could hear the chef's displeasure throughout the entire shop. It wasn't even about my order but from then on I felt very uncomfortable. That was probably not the first time because our companion lives in the town and has already had the experience of being treated unkindly as a guest if you have something to complain about. The food itself was ok. However, the burger got cold very quickly because all the other ingredients except the meat were cold. There is still corn or something similar on every plate that none of us have eaten. There are definitely customers who are happy about it, but it's not necessarily contemporary. If so, it would be better to have a few leaves of dressed lettuce rather than raw corn. It is a spa town where the clientele is constantly changing, but you should still think about how you treat customers. At most we'll get a few fries to go from the window, but nothing more.

At first you think there are only fries here, but that's not true. Interesting dishes, well presented, and tasty. Drinks could be cheaper.

The best burger I've had in a long time

Very tasty and fresh. A great selection of different dishes. There are also many unusual creations on the menu.

Freundliche Bedienung, Essen war schnell auf dem Tisch und sehr gut. Ist kein Restaurant hat mehr Kaffee/Imbiss Charakter aber für ein schnelles ordentliches Essen zwischendurch perfekt.

Guter Service und angemessene Preise

Der ältere Herr hinter dem Tresen... unfreundlicher geht es nicht... sollte von der Geschäftsleitung ausgetauscht werden. Bad Rothenfelde spricht schon drüber, unmöglich der Mann. Das Essen ist lecker.

Leider ein ganz schlechter Service,beim Verkauf am Fenster. Zum zweiten Mal, innerhalb einer Woche,stellt man mir das Schild vor die Nase,kein Außerhaus Verkauf. Da ich mich echt auf so eine Pommes gefreut habe,bin ich Mega Sauer. Eigentlich gehe ich immer hinein,und Esse dort Burger,die auch sehr gut sind. Aber das ist jetzt erstmal durch. Geht überhaupt nicht so ein Service. Dann einfach das Fenster Geschlossen lassen,wenn man es nicht Bewältigen kann. Meine Familie und mich, wird man dort nicht mehr Antreffen. 😡

Wir waren spontan zu Besuch und haben uns für die Reibekuchen mit Apfelmus entschieden. Bedienung freundlich und sehr aufmerksam. Preis-Leistung passt.

Netter Imbiss mit einer guten Auswahl an Gerichten. Die Preise sind okay. Man wird von unterschiedlichen Servicekräften bedient, etwas verwirrend. Ein Danke für Trinkgeld wäre von der Servicekraft nett gewesen.

Super Lage im Ortskern und gutes Essen, auf das man nicht lange warten muss. Schön eingerichtet und die Preise sind definitiv okay für heutige Zeiten.

Wir waren heute sehr enttäuscht 😞 das Essen war wie immer sehr lecker 😋 aber die Bedienung eine ältere Dame war sehr unfreundlich wir hätten gerne draußen gesessen mit 9 Personen aber der Tisch war abgeschlossen nach meiner Frage ob wir dann da sitzen dürfen bekam ich ganz frech und unfreundlich zu hören das die zu bleiben sie würden sich schon so die Füße warm laufen also wir waren sehr sehr sehr enttäuscht 😞 denn bis heute waren wir immer gerne da so schnell gehen wir nicht mehr hin SCHADE

Lekker vers en heerlijke schnitzel met champignon roomsaus. Ook de friet is geweldig. Als je in een kuuroord zit is dit een heerlijke toevoeging op het zoute water

Ich war schon häufiger dort. Mein "Stammessen" Schnitzel dreierlei mit Bratkartoffeln. Super.

Wir haben schon eine halbe Ewigkeit keine soooo guten Pommes mehr gegessen. Knusprig, heiß, nicht verfettet und nur mit wenig Salz gewürzt. Wer mehr Salz möchte, konnte die Pommes ja nachwürzen! Auch mein Fit for Fun Burger war klasse. Das Preis-Leistungverhältnis ist Top! Unsere Kinder haben eine Kinder-Pommes für 2,50 Euro gegessen. Mit Ketchup und einer Capri Sonne. Und die Portion Pommes war echt groß. Zum Abschied gab es noch für jedes Kind einen Lolli und ein kleines Tütchen Gummibärchen. Der Service war sehr freundlich, nur hat es länger mit dem Essen gedauert als erwartet. Das hat uns aber darin bestätigt, dass alles frisch gemacht wird. Die Hähnchen Nuggets waren auch lecker. Dazu wird alles sehr ansprechend serviert. Und noch zu guter Letzt: die WC's waren auch sehr, sehr sauber. Wir kommen gerne wieder!
