Sicilia in Bocca Pizzeria & Antipasteria in Remscheid

My goodness! I would argue that it is the best pizza in Remscheid. So much flavor that the water runs out of your mouth. Effort is being made here and it definitely shows! Thank you ☺️

Very bad! During our visit yesterday there were two young people aged 18-22 sitting at the next table. And ordered a pizza. Yes, one. The waitress took the order and left. After 5 minutes they came back and said they couldn't stay in the restaurant because they only ordered a pizza!!! And you either have to eat it quickly or take it with you. The young people were just as shocked as we were as we sat nearby and heard everything. Since when do people get kicked out of a restaurant for just ordering a pizza? Then please write the menu clearly: We only accept orders in the restaurant with an order value of 50 euros or more or 2 pizzas or more! Outrageous!!! It's just sad that yesterday, May 10th, you humiliated two young people like that!

Super great, small Italian restaurant with very tasty, authentic food! The portions are huge so we couldn't finish them. Friendly staff and great atmosphere. You immediately feel like you've been transported to Italin! We'll be back! Update: we ate there again last week and it was just as nice and tasty as always. The only thing we were a little shocked about was the bottle of mineral water for €7.50!!! We have never experienced this anywhere and we found it to be very expensive. Maybe you should change that (maybe a different variety 🤔...?) Otherwise everything was great!

A legendary place with Italian pizza and pasta. Lasagna is awesome. Pizza with salami and fresh mushrooms, just like in Italy. You can pay by cash or card. The service is very nice and hassle-free. Open only until 17:00. I will definitely come back here.

Been here on a recommendation. The pizzas are highly recommended. The dough has a good consistency and the tomatoes taste good. The toilets are clean. Unfortunately, with a large group the room is a little too small. It's hard to have a conversation because of the acoustics. However, if there are fewer people, it is optimal. The person in the kitchen does an extraordinary job! The service was always friendly. The salad was a little puny for a whopping €13! I think you should be 'full' with what you order. What is positive, however, is that there are daily specials for a little less money, which you can order on site between 11:30 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. (I think) for that price. These can be ordered on a separate list in the restaurant. Conclusion: Pizzas are a must try here! It's worth it.

Der Kellner war mit Freude und Humor bei der Sache, hat uns unsere Auswahl erleichtert und uns insgesamt den ganzen Abend freundlich umsorgt. Just perfect! It's actually too dangerous to give this tip to others and risk not finding a place yourself. Cristina and Nunzio are by far the best Italian restaurant I know in Germany. Wir waren zwei Abende hintereinander dort, da es uns am ersten Abend sehr gut gefallen hat. Essen: Pizzen waren sehr gut, drei verschiedene Pastagerichte ebenfalls. Die Portionsgrößen der Pastateller waren gerade so ausreichend, aber doch auch "überschaulich". Ein bisschen mehr hätte nicht geschadet. Der Pizzateig ist sehr lecker, der Belag OK aber nicht gerade großzügig. Außer der Käse, davon ist sehr viel drauf. Beim zweiten Abend sagte ich bei der Bestellung dazu "mit viel Pilzen". Als die Pizza kam, war sie jedoch nicht gerade üppig mit Pilzen belegt und ich fand es schade, dass so wenig Champignonstücke drauf waren, nachdem ich es extra dazu gesagt hatte. Als ich zu Hause die Rechnung sah, ärgerte ich mich darüber, dass tatsächlich zwei mal Champignons extra auf der rechnung stand, obwohl kaum Pilze drauf waren. Das Tiramisu schmeckte mir persönlich nicht und war seeeeehr trocken, drei Kekse mit virl Kakao drüber und kaum Creme Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis: Von der unverschämten extra Berechnung nicht vorhandener Pilze mal abgesehen, fanden wir das Preis Leistungsverhältnis gerade noch OK aber nicht besonders gut, Pizzen eher etwas hochpreisiger. 0,2 Wein ab 5,80 €, Flasche Wasser 7,50 € und 0,33 Limo oder Apfelschorle 4 € Atmosphäre: Die Kombination daraus, dass man in einem kleinen Laden sitzt, wo eine Wand komplett aus Verkaufsregalen besteht und sich im Raum die Verkaufstheke befindet ähnlich eines Gemüselädchens, macht eine spezielle Atmosphäre. Die Küche ist offen hinter dieser Theke, was ein bisschen die Atmophäre eines Imbis rein bringt. Trotzdem hatten wir nicht das Gefühl, in einem Imbis zu sitzen, sondern eher die Atmosphäre eine speziellen Gaststätte mit schöner Hintergrundmusik in perfekter Lautstärke. Service: War gut. Kellner sehr freundlich. Am ersten Abend mussten wir sehr lange aufs Essen warten. da kam er mehrfach und entschuldigte sich, dass es länger dauert. Ein Körbchen Brot mit Butter o.ä. schon mal zur Entschädigung zu bringen, hätten wir passend gefunden, kam aber nicht. Trotzdem haben wir uns vom Kellner gut versorgt gefühlt und ihm auch gerne sehr großzügig Tringeld gegeben. Jedoch rechnete jeweilos nicht die Bedienung ab, sondern beim Rausgehen an der Theke der Chef, was wieder Imbisatmosphäre hatte und dazu führte, dass wir nur 10% Standardtrinkgeld gaben und das auch nicht so gerne. Wir würden wieder kommen. Unser Stammlokal würde es nicht werden.

Where should I start!!! Waited 40 minutes for a bottle of water. External personnel completely overwhelmed. Pizza was very burnt and cold. Had a seafood pizza/mussel shells and sand was very unpleasant. The pasta with salmon was cold on the outside and warm on the inside. An absolute no go for us; and therefore absolutely breaks the recommended value

The Sicilia in Bocca made us feel like we had traveled to Sicily for an evening! The appetizer plate was a perfect introduction, the mussels were slightly spicy and simply delicious, and the pizza – crispy, authentic and full of flavor. Every bite was a delight. The service was warm and attentive. An evening here feels like a short vacation in Sicily. We'll definitely be back!

Very poor service in the outdoor area, uncomfortable folding chairs, kitchen roll instead of napkins on the tables. We didn't receive any glasses for the drinks we ordered. At some point we grabbed cutlery from the box outside when we noticed that it had already been forgotten at 3 other tables. One of the two main courses didn't come and when we asked, we found out that the receipt hadn't been printed out for the kitchen. After 15 minutes a pizza arrived, unfortunately not the one we ordered...the waitress was unable to type the correct one into the device. On my advice to maybe just walk the 5 steps around the corner to the pizza bakery so that you can simply pass on the order in person if you don't understand the technology, it worked. My companion had already finished eating when my real pizza finally arrived. No apology or maybe a drink on the house to make up for it. A no-go then to charge an extra €3.50 for an ingredient that was simply replaced (sausage instead of tuna), but not to deduct the omitted ingredient! Price-performance didn't suit us!

We ordered from the pizzeria today. The pizza didn't arrive until 2.5 hours after I ordered. She was also cold and completely burned. It was simply inedible. It was also overpriced. I will definitely never order from this pizzeria again.

Kleine urige Pizzeria in Remscheid am Hasten. Wenn man eintritt fühlt man sich fast wie im Italienurlaub. Die Pizza kommt aus dem Holzofen und ist phantastisch, die Pasta ist hausgemacht und ebenfalls sehr schmackhaft. Alles mit Liebe zubereitet. Einzig das Timing der Bedienung stimmte nicht, wir bekamen schon die Hauptspeise serviert als wir gerade erst mit der Antipasti begonnen hatten. Beim nächsten Besuch werden wir das bei der Bestellung berücksichtigen ;-) Portionen sind groß und die Preise angemessen. Es empfiehlt sich aber vorher zu reservieren sonst bekommt man bestimmt keinen Platz. Wir werden auf alle Fälle wieder kommen. Für dieses schnuckelige Restaurant würden wir 10 Sterne geben, Daumen hoch 😀

Obwohl der Laden nicht besonders groß ist, hat der Laden eine gemütliche Atmosphäre und ein sehr freundliches Personal. Wir wurden direkt mit einem "Schönen Abend gegrüßt und durften uns setzen. Es hat leider etwas lange gedauert, bis wir was bestellen konnten, aufgrund des vollen Ladens (Ich empfehle einen Tisch zu reservieren), das Essen hat auch etwas Zeit beansprucht zubereitet zu werden, jedoch hat sich das Warten gelohnt. Das Essen war phänomenal und super lecker!!! Ich habe selten so eine leckere Pasta gegessen und die Pizza kann man nicht vergleichen, mit der Pizza von Dominos, Pizzatown ect, dessen Pizza verglichen zu einer original italienischen Pizza, einfach schlecht schmeckt. Dementsprechend kostet es aber auch, aber das lohnt sich meiner Meinung nach. Ich habe für 6 Personen 107€ gezahlt. Klingt erstmal erschreckend, aber für die Größe der Portion, total gerechtfertigt. Ich kann diesen Laden nur jedem weiterempfehlen

Wer Italien nicht nur schmecken, sondern auch fühlen möchte, der ist hier genau richtig. Ich habe in Deutschland noch nie eine bessere Pizza gegessen. Es ist alles einfach perfekt. Angefangen mit dem hervorragenden Essen, über das Ambiente und den Service stimmt alles. Wir kommen regelmäßig und haben noch keinen Besuch bereut. Danke für dieses urgemütliche Restaurant mit diesem tollen Team.

Wir waren zu sechs Personen dort, hatten vorher reserviert. Das Essen dort ist authentisch italienisch. Es gibt dort sehr gute Bruschetta, leckere Pizza und Pasta. Das Personal ist freundlich und aufmerksam. Die Räumlichkeiten sind eher einfach aber schön. Ein Besuch lohnt sich.

Ich bin seit 15 Jahren Koch. Ich bin aus Neugier in dieses Restaurant gekommen. Ich habe gehört, dass der Koch und Besitzer sehr gut kocht. Das ist richtig. Es freut mich. Ich hatte zweimal die Gelegenheit, dieses Restaurant zu besuchen. Seele, Herz und Leidenschaft. Alle Gerichte hier sind ausgezeichnet. Alles sehr frisch und originell. Ein Besuch in diesem Restaurant ist wie eine Reise nach Italien. Perfekte Atmosphäre und toller Geschmack.

Also, Essen war top, Service auch. Ich fand es schade, dass das Tiramisu nicht selbst gemacht ist, aber kein Problem. Der Kellner war super nett, Antipasti toll. Das einzige was mich stört ist, man zahlt vorne beim Chef. Das Trinkgeld geht somit scheinbar nicht an den Kellner. Ich hab es dem Kellner persönlich gegeben! Für so einen tollen Service dann so eine Abrechnung absolut schade!!!

Der erste Besuch im einfach ausgestatteten Biergarten war vom Essen her (Antipasti + Pizza) vielversprechend. Der nette Kellner wies darauf hin, dass er den Tip gern auf dem Tisch finden würde, da man die Komplettrechnung beim Chef drinnen bezahlt. Der zweite Besuch war schon etwas weniger zufriedenstellend, die Pizza sehr lecker, der Antipastiteller sehr ölig und hauptsächlich mit Gemüse bestückt. Beim dritten Besuch wurden wir in dem Hinterraum neben dem WC-Eingang platziert, obwohl vorn freie Plätze waren. Die Pizza wieder gut - der Vorspeisenteller schien die Reste der Theke vom Vortag zu präsentieren. Zwei kalte, ungeschälte Garnelen haben zu Unwohlsein geführt.

Italienisches Kleinod im Herzen Hastens. Nach herzlicher Begrüßung wird ein wenig geplaudert und dabei ganz nebenbei die Bestellung aufgenommen (und die Empfehlungen des Hauses untergebracht, pssst die lohnen sich ;-) ) Das Essen wird zügig serviert und man kann den gesamten Zubereitungsprozess bestaunen wenn man möchte. Das Essen ist eine Kategorie für sich und katapultiert einen kulinarisch in den letzten Italien Urlaub! Ein definitives must do in Remscheid! Grazie a presto!

Wir waren dort an einem Samstag und es war glaube ich für den Kellner etwas stressig deshalb würde ich nicht so viel am Service bemängeln. Das Essen war ok, in der Karte stand ein bisschen was anderes als was ich bekommen habe, es stand was von Fenchel und Weißwein und ich erhielt, wie ich finde eine normale Lasagne, p.s in der Karte stand nichts vom Hackfleisch. Man sitzt draußen im Sommer auf unbequeme Plastikstühle. Der Kellner wollte uns auch ankündigen während wir aßen dass wir uns vielleicht umsetzen müssen da ein größerer Tisch kommt… obwohl wir reserviert hatten etc. nichts von typischen italienischen feeling wo man entspannt essen kann. Na ja, insgesamt sehr enttäuschend, vielleicht in der Woche eher ein Besuch wert aber für uns persönlich: nie wieder.
