Was really very good, was eating sushi for the first time and will be back 😀

Delicious! We were here on 2 evenings during our short vacation in Kelheim. Best baked banana we've ever had!

Shinsen Sushi is probably the best Asian restaurant in Kelheim - for years. There is a huge selection of sushi, including some vegetarian options, which I really like. It always tastes fresh and is extremely tasty. My favorites on the menu are probably the miso soup and the Oshinto & Kampyo Maki. The service is super friendly and has always made it easier for me personally to order, as I sometimes have difficulties with it. In summary, a wonderful restaurant with great interior design and fast, reliable service!

We were there for the first time today, but it definitely wasn't the last time! Both the peanut curry and the sushi were excellent, the service was super friendly and on the ball and the atmosphere was pleasant. We sat outside and were given a blanket when it got a little cooler.

Delicious food right at the starting point. Large selection of hot dishes and sushi. However, the teriyaki sauce was too runny for me personally and tasted more like a very sweetened soy sauce. The curry peanut, however, was very tasty. Portions are definitely sufficient!

We ate sushi, it was very tasty and fresh, fast, friendly service. Drinking water is very expensive. We sat in the beer garden, which doesn't really have any ambience.

We sat outside and experienced great service. The food was great and the portions were good. Card payment was not possible, but the savings bank and the ATM are right next door. We will eat here again on our next visit to Kelheim.

Good haircuts. Arrogant owner. Hair trimmers barely understand German. I'm not going there anymore.

I am pleasantly surprised by the taste, quality of products and selection of sushi rolls. You don't have to go to Munich to eat well ;)

Small Asian restaurant with a top sushi menu and also a normal menu. Have been there several times and have never been disappointed. Sushi is freshly prepared, top quality and absolutely reasonable in terms of price. Asian dishes are enough for big appetites and taste very fine. Price performance highly recommended. 💯

From our point of view, an absolute recommendation! We are not from the area, but have been to the restaurant several times and have always been looked after in an extremely friendly and courteous manner. In summer there is probably usually a place outside, in winter we would definitely recommend a reservation.

Boss and her team were very friendly and quick. Kitchen excellent. We can only recommend it. Boss always has a good saying

They gave me time for 1 hour to pick up my order and it didn't even start yet. As compensation I was given an additional 45 minutes of waiting time

Sushi and sashimi are excellent, the best I've eaten so far and I've been around a lot. The sushi/sashimi is so fresh, you think the fish needs mouth-to-mouth resuscitation and it swims again, great! The little boss who bustles around in the restaurant is very friendly. The waitress, who is also smaller and stronger, is a bit resolute; she is probably some kind of boss or something like that. We'll definitely come back, but then I'll have to talk to the waitress!

After our bike tour we had a very good meal there. The portion was too big for me so I took the rest with me

Wonderful weather, wonderful location in the center of the beautiful town of Kelheim, super nice, friendly service, constantly smiling and perfect German!!!...And the stress that is inevitable with a good visit is almost unnoticeable. I was outside in the beer garden and not only enjoyed the delicious food but also the beautiful surroundings. The guest room is also very invitingly decorated. Yes, and everything is super clean. I also saw that the other guests were happy and satisfied.

Great ambience, as it is relatively dark in the store, a feel-good atmosphere is immediately created. No elaborate decorations with kitschy frills, the operators let the food speak for itself. And this one is terrific! The price is very fair as the ingredients are of the absolute highest quality. The staff is also very friendly and you get your food quickly. Highly recommended is the shinsen platter and the baked banana as dessert. The best sushi I've eaten so far. If there were more stars, they would have deserved them too :)

Top recommendation :) Super attentive service, very quick preparation, good value for money :) Also allowed with a dog (inside) and outside with a dog of course ☺️ For warm days there is a very large outdoor area with lots of tables :)

I had fried noodle with chicken meat. No taste, pasta overcooked. Carelessly done. Expected more for €13.90. Once and never again.

We actually went there the first time to eat Chinese, but when we saw the sushi at the next table, we couldn't resist and ordered a small plate for two. That was 2 weeks ago and I've been there 4 times since then 😊😅 You can probably only find better sushi (if at all) in Japan 😉

We had dinner there yesterday and ate the following: maki sushi, nigiri sushi 🍣, fried duck with rice and peanut sauce and udon noodles with duck. We had delicious lemonade to drink and what can I say: we were very excited! Everything tastes delicious, the waitresses are very friendly and give very good advice, the atmosphere is pleasant and the price/performance ratio is really great! Grade 1 - we'll be back 😊

I always enjoy going there. The atmosphere is very nice. The staff is friendly and accommodating and the food is simply to die for. Whether warm cuisine or sushi, you will find something for everyone. If you don't like raw fish, but sushi, there is vegetarian sushi or even fried.

We were able to enjoy mango duck and sweet/sour duck here. Delicious! Portions more than sufficient. Nice atmosphere and a very open, friendly, warm lady in service. We'll definitely be back!

Great sushi. We tried a variety of different rolls that were very tasty. A little bit too expensive compared to other sushi places but still worth going.

First time here and we loved it. Tom ka gai and small spring rolls as starters. Self made lemonades as drinks. Main dishes were peanut sauce chicken with rice, different sushi and salmon tartar. Icepresso (macha ice cream scoop and espresso) as dessert. And all of them were very tasty. We definitely come again. A bit irritating that we were the only guests on a Saturday around 14:00. This restaurant deserves more.

The food is so good that I could go there every day. We mostly eat duck. The sushi are also a burner. Unfortunately they are a bit expensive, but worth the money. The owners and service are soooo nice. The portions are huge. We will be back. The restaurant is very small. You deserve more stars.

Absolut empfehlenswert! Extrem lecker und reichlich. Preise auch völlig in Ordnung, da Ware sehr frisch und gute Qualität war. Da war ich definitiv nicht das letzte Mal zum Essen! Die Wirtin selbst ist auch ein Unikat und sehr liebenswert. Alles in allem kann ich nur volle Punkte vergeben. ❤️

Sushi war sehr gut und ist das Geld meiner Meinung nach auch wert. Die warmen Speisen konnten leider für den Preis nicht überzeugen.

Sehr nette und zuvorkommende Inhaber, super leckeres und mehr als ausreichendes Essen. Hier wird jeder etwas zu Essen finden. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder.

Wow was für ein tolles Restaurant. Wir sind Sushi Liebhaber, und da würden wir sogar 6 Sterne vergeben. Super freundliche Chefin. Das Essen wurde schnell und sehr anschaulich serviert. Für mich das beste Lokal in Kelheim. Wir werden noch oft kommen.

Richtig gemütliches kleines Restaurant. Das Essen (Sushi und Sashimi) sah nicht nur gut aus sondern war von sehr guter Qualität und auch noch sehr lecker. Kann ich nur weiter empfehlen.

Vielen herzlichen Dank für einen tollen Abend! Alle Zutaten waren frisch und lecker. Und der Service einfach nur herzlich. Wir hatten eine Tom Ka Gai-Suppe, eine bunte Vielfalt an Sushi und Sashimi (Platte für 2P) + 2 Extrarollen mit Ente und Ebi, einen Algensalat sowie drei kleine Probierportionen warmen Sticky Reis mit Mango als Dessert. Fazit des Abends: Wer pappsatt und glücklich nach Hause gehen will, kommt hier her zum Essen!

Sehr lecker! Endlich gutes Sushi in Kelheim Wenn man bestellt und es abholt dann wartet man aber leider sehr lange war zur besprochenen Zeit da und musste beide male nochmal fast 20 min warten. Und leider keine Kartenzahlung möglich, das könnte man ja evtl noch ändern :)

Wir waren am Sonntag abend dort und erstaunt dass nicht mehr los war. Wir wurden sehr freundlich und aufmerksam bedient. Das Essen (vor allem das Sushi) war der Hammer, optisch und geschmacklich. Üppige und leckere Vorspeisen. Edamame und Sommerrollen sehr empfehlenswert. Die Wartezeit angenehm kurz. Auch die Getränke top, hausgemachte Limo sehr zu empfehlen. Wer gut Sushi essen möchte sollte dieses Restaurant im Zentrum der Kelheimer Altstadt unbedingt einmal besuchen. Kleine Kritik: Die Tür am Eingang sollte mal repariert werden, da sie nicht ganz zufällt und es im Winter bei den ersten Tischen etwas zieht. Ansonsten Top!

Das Lokal ansich wirkt etwas ungepflegt. Die Tapete löst sich stellenweise von der Wand und wir saßen neben dicken Spinnenweben in der Ecke. Das ist nicht so schön. Die von uns probierten Speisen waren gut, aber nicht herausragend lecker. Der Sevice war aufmerksam und das Essen kam zügig. Wir kommen eher nicht mehr wieder.

Wir essen hier immer wieder und wurden weder optisch noch geschmacklich nie enttäuscht. Das Essen ist sauber, unglaublich lecker und die Portionen sind groß. Preisleistung stimmt 👍

Một chuyến thăm Kellheim giúp tôi biết thêm được một nhà hàng Á vô cùng dễ thương. Đồ ăn rất ngon với khẩu phần lớn và giá cả cực kỳ hợp lý. Sushi với sashimi tươi mới. Những người phục vụ chuyên nghiệp và nhanh nhẹn. Nhà hàng có một vị trí đẹp ngay trung tâm, yên bình, thoáng đãng. Bên trong tuy nhỏ nhưng cũng rất gọn gàng và hiện đại. Thực đơn đẹp, rõ ràng và rất dễ hiểu. Trên tất cả, hãy xem những bức ảnh của tôi!

Ich habe selten bessere Sushi gegessen. Der Service ist überaus freundlich, die Bedienung kommt öfters aber keineswegs aufdringlich an den Tisch und fragt nach, ob alles passt. Die Sushi und insbesondere das Sashimi sind erstklassig, die Portionen reichlich, das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis könnte kaum besser sein. Wir sind mittlerweile regelmäßig einmal die Woche im Shinsen!

Super authentisches und glutamatfreies Essen, tolle Bento Boxen als Mittagsmenü. Sind hier fast wöchentlich mittlerweile….

Schade , dass die Autos dort fahren dürfen.

Der Ort von außen war nicht gerade einladend von innen sah es hingegen deutlich gemütlicher aus . Die Bedienung war nicht gerade freundlich wie man es von dieser Umgebung normalerweise gewohnt ist. Das Essen war für denn Preis in Ordnung jedoch leider für mich auch kein Grund erneut das Restaurant zu besuchen. Deswegen leider nur 2 Sterne
