If you ever want to eat a Szeged goulash that definitely doesn't taste like anything, then you'll be particularly well received here. The boss is supposedly Hungarian. I don't know where he learned to cook. His would-be burgers, well - the same "mush". I'm just a hobby cook, but I live in Hungary. The food is an insult.

Food was quite good And locally clean

We were there for the first time and were thrilled. Everything was very tasty and the service was extremely friendly!! I'll definitely come back more often!!

The lemonade was stale, there was a hair in the chicken salad, burgers and schnitzels were an insult. Even before I had the burger in my mouth, you could tell from the smell of old fat how the whole thing would taste. I decided to eat the hairy salad instead so I wouldn't have to leave hungry. At least we received friendly service.

I can highly recommend the burgers, we were really impressed. The loaded frozers are also delicious. We'll definitely be back!

After we were impressed by the menu, we decided to stop in. We weren't disappointed. The waitresses are super friendly. The food was great. The portions just right. We particularly liked the extraordinary smile of the waitress, which only conveyed a good mood.

Food top, service top. Only the seating outside is a bit hard and uncomfortable. The tables for 4 people outside are a bit small.

So in general I rarely make comments, but I would like to do so here. We've eaten here several times and it's been great every time. The burgers are all super tasty and I would particularly like to highlight the really good (homemade?) fries. Actually, I'm really not a fan of fries, but they are really awesome. Yes, the price may be very high for some people, but I'm happy to spend a few euros more for good quality. I think that Betyar is an enrichment for Kelheim's gastronomy and I hope it will stay that way for a long time. Unfortunately I don't have any pictures because the food is too delicious to take the time to take a photo! :)

Hello to those who like good cuisine with normal service. We recently ate at the restaurant. Unfortunately the prices are quite high. However, the price would be justified if the service and the ambience were right. This is unfortunately not the case. As soon as you put the cutlery aside you are immediately asked whether you are ready to clear the dishes. I don't want to say anything bad about the food because my food was completely ok. All in all 3 stars

Today I was at the Betyár Grillhouse in Kelheim and I have to say: This was one of the best burgers I've ever eaten! 🍔 I ordered the Irish beef cheeseburger with fries and coleslaw. The fries were perfectly crispy and you could immediately taste that they were made from fresh potatoes. The meat was juicy and tasty and the burger was seasoned perfectly overall. You could just tell that the cooking here is done with love and quality. The coleslaw was also fresh and tasty and went perfectly with the burger. 🥗 The staff was very friendly and accommodating and the service was quick and smooth. All in all, I can absolutely recommend the Betyár Grillhouse in Kelheim! If you want to enjoy a delicious burger in a cozy atmosphere, this is the right place for you. 👍 Here are a few details that I particularly liked: The Meat: The Irish beef was juicy, tender and full of flavor. This place is TOP!!! The ambient is extremely nice, the Owner and the staff warmly kind, the food is delicious and ingredients taste fresh. The amount of food per person is extremely filling and beyond! Also they are pet friendly and provided right away a bowl of water and lots of Love when I ate there with my Doggo. I highly reccomend this place!!

It is easy to find a parking space in the area, it is in a very good location, a 3-minute walk from the main square. The furnishings are cozy, the place is pleasant, the staff is kind and helpful. The food is very delicious! The Lavaburger is a must try! I can definitely recommend it!

I've rarely eaten such good burgers! Everything was perfect, Betyár Grillhaus is also child-friendly and if the dog stays on a leash, he is also very welcome. The staff responds to special requests and tries to implement them. I would be happy to come back.

We ate 2 very good Betyar Lava Burgers. Well fried and not too dry. The liquid cheddar on the burger is really great. The fries were extremely good. The price is quite ok. We were very impressed with the service. Friendly, kind and attentive. We will definitely stop by there again when we are in the area.

The fries were really tasty, crispy and fresh. Unfortunately also extremely salty. The burgers were all good. I had the pulled pork. The meat was a bit too dry. But it didn't bother me. There was enough sauce 😁 The service was attentive even though the place is huge. They were all friendly too.

Ordered something to pick up for the first time. Sweet potato fries were totally burnt. Despite the waiting time, the sauce was like soup. The burger was ok but it wasn't worth the money.

Really great! Here you can tell that the two owners are restaurateurs with heart and soul. From the cozy atmosphere to the friendly and personable staff to the high-quality food, everything is perfect here. I can especially highly recommend the burgers and the chipotle mayonnaise - here you won't find a run-of-the-mill standard menu like all the restaurant chains, but something unique that represents the regional gastronomy in and around Kelheim is an absolute game changer. An additional plus point: you have two adjoining rooms available, so you can celebrate in a more private setting, for example, without missing anything. I will definitely come back! ☺️

The menu is large and very nicely laid out. The prices are a bit high but you get a lot of food for it and it comes really quickly after you order (20 minutes). The atmosphere is nice and the staff is very nice and you can tell that they put a lot of effort into it. If you couldn't eat everything, you can simply take everything with you and eat it at home or on the go. I would go here again every time I could.

We've never experienced anything like this before... The culinary journey should start at 6:30 p.m. with good burgers, meat and lots of crispy fries. Table was reserved in time, five hungry, excited guests were on time, the table was ready. When the waiter came to our table after 20 minutes and wanted to take the food and drinks, we would have liked to see a menu first. It came, we ordered, the drinks came... And then nothing more. At 9:00 p.m. we said goodbye politely but very hungry, without the waiter asking again for more drinks or explaining to us why our food wasn't coming. Of course, during the two hours we asked when it would be time for us to try the food we ordered. Now that's meager... Sounds like an excuse. We didn't have to pay for our drinks, unfortunately there was no explanation or apology. Conclusion: Unfortunately not recommended, as the delivery service is obviously preferred here. I didn't feel welcome as a guest.

Mit Abstand das beste Essen was wir je hatten. - Könnte vielleicht noch MINIMAL günstiger sein, ansonsten sehr, sehr gut.

Hier ist noch Potential nach oben… aber als erstes, das Personal war super freundlich, hat mehrmals gefragt ob alles passt. Die Bestellung kam zügig an den Tisch. Wobei das Lokal für einen Freitag Abend auch recht spärlich besucht war. Die Vorspeise bestand aus Convenienceprodukten, die Zwiebelringe waren sehr fettig, evtl bei zu niedriger Hitze frittiert. Ein gewünschter Dip war nicht vorrätig. Wobei wir im Grillhaus hier auch ehrlich gesagt eher auf hausgemachtes gehofft hatten statt auf TK Ware. Die Burger und Pommes waren sehr lecker, aber die Burger ebenfalls extrem fettig. Der Coleslaw leider auch nicht selbst gemacht (zumindest unserer Meinung nach). Zudem kam das Hauptgericht bereits an den Tisch, als wir mit der Vorspeise noch gar nicht fertig waren, das könnte besser koordiniert sein. Die Servietten waren leider auch sehr sehr billige, am Weinglas waren Wasserränder… das sind so Dinge die mir leider auffallen. Jeder einzelne Punkt nicht schlimm, aber zusammen gibt das eben nur eine mittelmäßige Bewertung. Die Preis-Leistung passt so nicht zu 100%. Positiv: die Reinigungstücher direkt am Tisch. Aber bitte gebt nicht auf, der Laden hat echt Potential :-) es sind Kleinigkeiten die ihr sehr gut beheben könntet so engagiert wie ihr seid.

Burger sind wirklich gut & die Portionen groß. Leider sind die Preise ziemlich hoch mit 20€ für einen Burger mit Pommes.

Wir haben heute einen Teil des Silvester-Abend hier gefeiert und waren sehr und vor allem rundum zufrieden! Essen war klasse und der Service sehr nett und aufmerksam. Die Tische waren hübsch dekoriert und auch an die Kinder wurde gedacht. Alles in allem ein schöner Abend!

Wir waren zum BBQ Silvester Buffet hier. Große Auswahl und schönes Ambiente bei angenehmer Lautstärke trotz vollem Restaurant. Der Service sowie das Essen erfüllte all unsere Wünsche. Einziger Kritikpunkt: Für mich war das Pulled Pork sowie das Chicken Patty zu scharf. Gerne wieder!

Schönes Lokal mit nettem Ambiente. Das essen ist auch gut, aber erstmals Getränke zu bestellen hat ewig gedauert, weil die Bedienungen nicht gekommen sind...Dann hat es auch sehr lange gedauert bis wir unsere Getränke bekommen haben, bei dem Essen das gleiche. Und obwohl ein paar von uns nachgekommen sind, hat die Bedienung beim servieren der Getränke nicht gefragt ob sie auch was wollen... Die Bedienungen schienen es nicht bemerkt zu haben und scheinen sehr ,,verplant".

Essen sehr lecker und immer sehr freundlicher Lieferant. Bislang war ich noch nicht im Restaurant selbst, weshalb ich das leider nicht bewerten kann.

Wir waren am Dienstag Abend zu fünft dort. Wir waren alle rund um begeistert. Das Essen war sehr lecker & preis Leistung für diese Portion und Qualität definitiv gerechtfertigt! Wir kommen aufjedenfall wieder. Durchschnitt pro Person ca 25,- was wie ich finde völlig Inordnung ist.

Die bestellten Burger waren äußerst lecker! Aber es gibt viele Kritikpunkte: Die Portionen sind zu groß, was den hohen Preis halbwegs rechtfertigt, dennoch würde ich mir kleinere Portionen für 2 - 3 Euro weniger wünschen. Man hat sehr lange Wartezeiten (>60 Minuten nach Bestellung). Die Atmosphäre ist ungemütlich. Zwar schön eingerichtet, aber unheimlich laut und sehr stickig. Die Kleidung hat nach dem Besuch bestialisch nach Braten gerochen. Dennoch glaube ich, dass das Lokal Potenzial hat. Die Qualität der Zutaten ist ausgezeichnet und es schmeckt eben auch super. Wir kommen gerne nochmal, in der Hoffnung, dass sich die Kritikpunkte bis dahin gebessert haben.

Wir waren zu dritt dort, bei jedem von uns ging etwas an der Bestellung schief und bei einer von uns wurde erst als die anderen beiden ihr Essen bereits bekommen haben mitgeteilt, dass das Essen aus ist und sie sich etwas anderes aussuchen soll. Da das Essen eh schon etwas gedauert hat und sie nicht noch länger warten wollte und auch etwas frustiert war haben wir dann alle geteilt. Personal war trotz allem sehr freundlich und sie hat dann auch ein Getränk aufs Haus bekommen. Ansonsten ist das Ambiente auch sehr schön.

Wir waren als Familie dort. Meine Frau und ich hatten Burger, die Kinder Nuggets mit Pommes und Spätzle. Mein Burger war einer der Besten die ich jemals gegessen habe. Das Personal ist super freundlich und der Laden sauber und in zeitlosem Design eingerichtet. Absolute Empfehlung!

Haben heute aus Neugierde zum ersten Mal bei Betyár bestellt. Das Essen war wirklich lecker. Wir hatten den Crispy Chicken Burger (?) mit Süßkartoffelpommes, eine Currywurst mit Pommes, Langos und Quarkstrudel. Alles sehr lecker. Wir haben vor, bei Gelegenheit nochmal zu bestellen und andere Gerichte zu probieren.

Das ganze hat es kaputt gemacht, weil Menüs einzeltent abgerechnet werden, wenn ich ein Menü möchte für 8,95€ mit Pommes, wo ich wählen kann zwischen normalen Pommes und Süßkartoffelpommes, kann es nicht sein das ich einen Aufschlag von 1€ bezahle weil ich Süßkartoffelpommes gewählt habe und anschließend alles extra bezahle muss. Das ist frech. Statt 8,95€ habe ich 17,80€ dafür bezahlt. Die Leute verstehen auch einen ganz schlecht, ich habe 50cent Pfand bezahlt für Getränke und mit viel diskutierten habe ich die 50cent wieder bekommen.

Bétyar Burger ist einer der besten Burger, den ich jemals gegessen habe. Zwar richtig chaotisch und immer auseinanderfallend, aber dann sieht man wenigstens einem an, dass es geschmeckt hat. Und das noch zu einem Preis von einem McMenü. Wenn ich wieder da bin, werde ich Stammkunde.
