Great place, legit has an outstanding Tan Tan Men and Tsukumen.

We've had better ramen; everything could have been a bit hotter and seasoned more. The shio ramen tasted almost like nothing, and the miso ramen could have been more flavorful. The service was very friendly, and the food arrived very quickly. There was a decent selection of drinks, and the prices were right, too. Unfortunately, they don't offer appetizers.

I ordered tantan-men. It was super delicious, plentiful, and the price was fair. The staff was incredibly friendly, and we were even lucky enough to get a seat (on a Saturday at 3 p.m. for two people). The space inside isn't particularly large, but you also have the option of eating outside. So far, it's my favorite ramen bar in Hanover.

In my opinion the best ramen in Hanover. One portion fills you up very well and if you are really hungry there is also the option of larger portions. I especially love the Shoyu Ramen ❤️ The branch on Thielenplatz is a bit small, but it's quicker to eat and if there's no more space, you can go to the branch on Aegi.

Great service and advice, the cook even came to see me to make recommendations. Very good, tasty food. The atmosphere inside, however, was rather cold. I ate very well.

Very small, narrow and clean restaurant. With a committed, attentive and young team. We were quickly assigned a table. The cards were handed out and the order was taken. The drinks were served promptly and the food didn't take long to arrive either. Great taste and well tempered. Unfortunately not exactly cheap. But thanks to the use of the Schlemmerblock it's okay. Addendum, the seating in the restaurant has been replaced, so you can now sit more comfortably. The food is still at the same level, keep it up.

Not ramen, maybe some kind of variation. Broth tasted weird (maybe because of that onion, it felt like it's from package), poor choice (either chicken or mashrooms). It's the worst ramen I've tried in Germany so far. Nice and welcoming staff, though

I had miso ramen and my friend had gyudon. I know ramen to be more varied, it was just noodles with soup and a few sprouts. The gyudon was also more rice than anything else. There was also a “salad” with three cucumber slices and a few sprouts. For us neither the price of 31 euros will come with a small water.

By opening hours I mean that you can get food at that time. Change it if you can't stick to it. Addition: No, you don't cook for your guests until 9 p.m., otherwise I would have gotten something. I was there at 8:48 p.m. and wanted to order takeout. The two guys behind the counter were already annoyed and the lady had to think about what she was saying for a minute (strange).

The food is good, probably one of the best ramens in Hanover, but compared to Hamburg and Düsseldorf it's also pretty average. Unfortunately, the store is regularly bursting at the seams and there is often only one person working, which can lead to very long waiting times. Happened to me many times. I left today without ordering because it just took too long. Especially since serving ramen shouldn't take long. Maybe someone other than the waitress can collect? That would speed things up a lot at peak times.

If you go to a ramen shop in Hannover expecting Japanese ramen, you'll be a little disappointed, but considering it's inspired by it, it's ok. I had the soupless dandan noodles, and although the noodles were sticky, the taste was ok. My friend ordered miso ramen, so I sampled it, but the soup looked like miso soup and was different from the miso ramen you get in Japan. I got the impression that it was probably localized for Germans.

Shin Ramen Hannover - Unfortunately not a hit The best thing first: The employees at Shin Ramen are super friendly! But unfortunately that's the only thing that can really convince. The ramen itself? Oh well. The broth, whether miso or other variants, is pretty bland and just doesn't taste like much. The noodles are suspiciously reminiscent of supermarket spaghetti and are also mushy. Not exactly what you expect from a ramen restaurant. The Tantan-Men is somewhat clear, but the so-called "lava eggs" are a bad joke - because of lava, it's more like dead pants here. Conclusion: For what you pay here, the quality is really poor. Sure, the service is great, but unfortunately you won't get enough of it. If you're looking for really good ramen, you should go somewhere else. What a shame actually!

Actually a stable shop, but today it's vegan ramen to take away (€11 per serving) and well, basically it's noodles with a hint of vegetables... Completely lousy price-performance ratio, in my opinion... and the "vegetables" mainly consist of bean sprouts - really cheap...

The service was very friendly but unfortunately this is the only plus point about the restaurant. The ramen broth wasn't really tasty and bland, the tofu that was in the ramen was strangely overcooked and the consistency almost dissolved as soon as you tried to eat it. The noodles were far too soft and looked like they had been bought at the nearest supermarket under the name spaghetti. For me, the ramen wasn't worth the money.

This was my first visit to a ramen restaurant. We were just able to get a table shortly after opening, so reservations are strongly recommended. I don't know if that's just how ramen tastes or if that was the expression in this store. Unfortunately I didn't like it. The service was very nice, the waiting time was very short, so thumbs up for the service. The tables had fixed benches that were mounted very close to the table, making it difficult to sit down. For me it is clear that this will probably be my only foray into the world of ramen.

Ordered Tan Tan Ramen but it had no taste at all, no umami. The chicken tastes like nothing and is far too little - all you can see is the noodles. The ramen egg or lava egg also has no taste, and the aftertaste of the sesame sauce is far too intense. They use chicken broth, which tastes very bland. Plus it's expensive too. If it's expensive, it should at least taste good. Absolutely NOT recommended for ramen lovers. Too bad!

Unfortunately that was a failure. Unfortunately, what is served here has little to do with ramen. There's no decent broth here. It tastes extremely bland and as if it was simply mixed together quickly. The lava egg, which cost me €3 extra, also had little to do with lava eggs. The meat to pasta ratio is ridiculous too. A tablespoon of minced meat on top, that's it. For the whole €20, no thanks. The good reviews can only come from people who have never eaten good ramen. What a shame! I'm not coming back. Conclusion: Expensive and unfortunately really not tasty. So if you've ever eaten good ramen, you should look for another place.

For me, definitely the best ramen shop in Hanover. You can tell that a lot of love goes into the preparation. The vegan versions of the dishes are varied and very good! I have now eaten vegan Tantan Ramen in a variety of restaurants and can say that Shin Ramen's Tantan Vegan is among the best. We come here regularly now and have never been disappointed. There is always very friendly service and short waiting times. If you are in Hanover and want to eat ramen, then Shin Ramen should be your first stop!

Shirunashi(brothless) Tantan-Men sat and got full. It was very tasty and the portion size was enough for 'normal' hunger. The service was also good. Gladly again!

Waiting an hour for an expensive soup is abysmal

I was looking forward to visiting the ramen shop, but unfortunately the experience was not satisfactory. - The order took way too long - we had to wait an unusually long time even though the store wasn't full. - The soup was way too salty, which greatly affected the taste. - The toppings were far too few - I would definitely have expected more for the price. - Overall, the price-performance ratio is not justified. It was simply too expensive for this quality. It's a shame, I was hoping for more. Unfortunately, I probably won't visit the store again.

Very tasty ramen and great service :) I'll definitely come back here. The portions aren't very large, which is why I recommend adding the extra noodles if you're hungry.

Inspired by the comments, the two of us decided to try something new. Luckily I had reserved a table, which was immediately confirmed by email. The location is not particularly large, but that doesn't have a negative impact on the experience. We had the table by the door and noticed how many guests had to leave without a reservation. In winter the place at the door is not very pleasant, especially since the food was served outside. But the space doesn't allow anything else. There was “only” one bench on each side for seating. Chairs would be more comfortable here and would make it easier to sit at the table. We found the completely worn out plastic holder for the menus a bit of a shame. This should be remedied! The selection of food and drinks is clear, but everyone will find something. Food was ordered and served less than 10 minutes later. It was very tasty and surprised us 100% positively in terms of taste. Be sure to order ice cream for dessert. Also very tasty. Conclusion: New menu holders and chairs and nothing stands in the way of 5 stars. We'll definitely test again and reserve a different table in the room, but more specifically. PS Staff is attentive and nice 👌

A really good ramen restaurant. There's even a selection of vegan ramen. I had the Vegan Tantanmen myself and can only recommend them. The service was very quick and the staff was generally very nice.

Delicious soups. However, I would like more inserts. Almost only had noodles.

We arrived just in time for opening time at 6:00 p.m. and that was just right! The place filled up quickly and many tables were already reserved. Therefore my recommendation: be sure to reserve in advance! The service was quick and friendly, and the ramen was delicious. We'll definitely be back!

Were there for the first time today and are thrilled. There are some vegan options. Everything is very well described and shown. We had miso vegan and tantan vegan. Both were very tasty, I found the Tantan to be better and spicier overall. Nice little restaurant, quite busy but service was very friendly and quick all the time. We'd love to come back.

Cramped and tiny without coziness, located on a main street, but top service and super tasty ramen! Definitely worth it if you want to eat deliciously and don't have a problem with a very small space and tables close together 😃👍🏻

Here is my reformulated restaurant review in German: "I ordered miso ramen. The appearance of the dish was very appealing, and the fried onions complemented the taste perfectly. It would be nice if they served the fried onions separately to keep them crispy. Unfortunately, the broth was a bit too salty and there was not enough chicken meat. The matcha soda was a bad choice in my opinion. The combination was strange, probably because of the strong matcha smell. The service was good, the atmosphere was rather average.

It's always super tasty here, especially the vegan ramen is great, but also the lava eggs etc. So even if you're a vegetarian you'll get your money's worth. The ramen noodles themselves are homemade and particularly good. We always like to come back here :)

Definitely fast food like Subway! Very simple, easy to use, easy to use on your own. Strong flavor enhancers are used in the chicken broth, so it's not homemade. Danger! Allergic reaction after eating the ramen. The note on the map is kept very small!

It looked good, unfortunately disappointed by flavor and textures - both broths were overwhelmed by onion flakes (and maybe more onion in some form in mine?? i am not sure, it was very strong) and i made a mistake of ordering the 3x chicken chashu shio as the chicken slices were very thin, inexplicably dry despite the soup and tasted like pate. perhaps i should have ordered the veg one...

The service was very friendly and the food came after 3 minutes. extremely quickly to the place. The ramen is solidly prepared, but the taste experience is missing. The fireworks in your mouth. It's okay if you're nearby, but unfortunately I can't think of a reason to eat ramen here again.

It’s not worth the price in my opinion. I think you could get more flavorful ramen at home with an instant ramen pack and some of your own toppings.

Very nice ramen restaurant and two sides open in summer good night. You can go alone or as a family or group. The prices are usual for ramen restaurants in Germany. It's nice that there is also Kakigoori. Unfortunately there were no Suzuki beans when we visited Matcha Kakigoori, even though it was on the menu. When it comes to ramen, I recommend Tan Tan Men. The service was also very nice and accommodating. I also think it's great that you can watch the chef cutting ramen noodles next to the cash register. 🙂

This ramen spot was probably one of the worst places I’ve ever had ramen at. Please save your time & money & go elsewhere. The broth, noodles & meat was disgusting. I went with a party of 3 & we tried each others ramen & all 3 where pretty bad :( the pictures are very deceiving but the taste was not it.

Tantan mien are very tasty, but everything is a bit too expensive. The Erdinger non-alcoholic comes in a 0.3 bottle, so the price is quite cheeky. Lava egg €3 and extra noodles to fill you up and then you end up with a bowl of noodles for €20...

This Japanese ramen bar is truly outstanding. The quality of the noodles is excellent, and the broth is delicious. The service is friendly and attentive. It's the best ramen I've ever tasted - even better than the ones I've tried in Asia!

I had Shio-Chashu Ramen with additional egg and Pak Choi. It's either I just love Ramen, or it's so good. Balance of flavours, noodles, delicious meat and lava eggs. Made me not want to talk just eat more! Really enjoyed it. And will be coming back for more!

I was here at a time when there was little going on or there were few people there. That saved me the reservation. The ramen itself was extremely tasty.

1. An ungodly long wait. I could have found my lost father in that time. Were ignored and not taken into account at all. Conclusion on the 1st point: Never experienced such bad service 2. The noodles were absolutely not worth their price and were not edible. I would have made tastier ones at home. 3. Anyone who recommends this to you doesn't trust it. They're all liars. In the end, I would never go there again and am reconsidering whether ramen is really my favorite food.

From the first bite it was clear that the food was not what we expected. The broth left a lot to be desired in terms of taste and the meat didn't seem fresh. Drinks didn't taste that good. Overall, the dish was disappointing and not recommended.

I had to pay at the checkout and I saw a black jacket next to the pasta station, which indicates a lack of cleanliness. Personally, I think I can cook better at home. The matcha soda was also inedible and very expensive. Because of this experience I will not be returning.

Shin Ramen is a small ramen bar where you can choose from a solid selection of dishes. The restaurant not only impresses with a good selection of vegetarian dishes but also with its taste. The friendly staff will be happy to advise you on your selection.

Unfriendly service that made you feel like you were too stupid to understand the menu. The announced delicious tofu was still cold. Nothing was made fresh, just dumped out of a Tupperware. The staff sat listlessly behind the counter on their cell phones most of the time. The portions were very small and definitely not tasty and interesting enough for the price. Everything is very basic.

Well, it was fine. Don't understand; how many people praise the food here. For me it was pretty average. It tastes so run of the mill. I can also make noodle soup myself at home. Not really recommending too much for the price. It was enough for a little hunger.

Ramen is my favorite dish. After a total of 7 trips to Japan in the last 8 years, I understood and loved ramen above all else as a soul food that I could eat every day. I have also tried a lot of ramen outside of Japan in Europe, Asia or the USA, which is why the following review is also adapted to that: This Landen gives at most an average hint of what this art actually means. We had Shio Ramen 3/5, Tantanmen 2/5 and the biggest disappointment was Miso Ramen at 1/5. Everything that actually defines it was missing, zero creaminess, nuttiness, no play with umami sweetness and acidity. The toppings on all the ramen were neither authentic nor really good. Compliments for the good noodles and eggs, but the eggs were also ice cold in the plate.

Here you can get Yum Yum soups with a little addition from 12 euros. The service is bad. The tables are dirty and are only cleared after employees have walked past them several times. The open kitchen is untidy and dirty.

I had the creamy vegan ramen, which was really delicious, definitely recommended. Very cozy shop, although it was very busy (but we were there on Saturdays around 3 p.m.)

If you had told me two months ago that I would be writing a ramen review in a timely manner, I probably would have said, “Really funny. Would you mind passing me the mango chutney sauce?” (In this situation I'm sitting in a sophisticated burger restaurant. Don't ask me why. It's just like that.)

Craziness. Charging 15 euros for a spicy “Japanese” soup with five tiny pieces of chicken (“chicken mince”), noodles and sprouts cannot be justified, even given the location. Service nice. Ambiance can be improved.

So far I've always been satisfied: delicious ramen and good value for money. Today, however, I was proven wrong. Over 40€ for two drinks and 2x ramen, which had nothing special in terms of taste, is definitely way too much. 3€ just for the lava egg... Unfortunately, the price-performance ratio is no longer right at all - a shame!

Small restaurant with a clean guest toilet, quite soberly furnished, doesn't invite you to linger, but probably shouldn't. Fast, friendly service, fast service, food very tasty, unfortunately the Matcha Chiffon Cake that I would have liked to try no longer seems to be available. Maybe you could adjust the menu or add the cake back to the offer :-).

You have to be a bit lucky to get a seat at peak times, as the restaurant is quite small, but you will be rewarded with very friendly service and very tasty food. The food was again a taste bomb for us 🤤

So I've been to a lot of frame shops and a lot of them were really not good but this one tastes authentic. The chilli oil is homemade. The ramen is silky smooth. You won't be disappointed. The unusual thing about the shop: If you're a vegetarian, they don't offer tofu or soy mince, but shiitake mince. The ultimate umami experience 😍

Richtig guter Laden, Atmosphäre etwas steril. Leider kein Tonkotsu-Brühe auf der Karte, aber Miso mit etwas Chili war auch sehr lecker.

Mehr als reichhaltig und sehr lecker!

Puuuuh wo fängt man an, wo hört man auf. Das Ambiente ziemlich enttäuschen, neben der Tatsache das man Arm an Arm mit Fremden sitzt, die Servicekräfte ziemlich gelangweilt erscheinen und die Küchenhilfen ohne Elan arbeiten. Aber beginnen wir bei der Auswahl (leider vorher nicht richtig erkundigt), diese hat leider weder Wein noch Vorspeisen auf der Karte. Sehr schade. Die Auswahl die man an Ramen dann getroffen hat und sich erhofft hat eine geschmackvolle und würzige Schale vor sich liegen zu haben - hat auch enttäuscht, was nett aussah, hat sich als nicht lecker entpuppt. Meine YumYum zuhause sind würziger als die Wassersuppe die wir hier erhalten haben. Das Hähnchen war zwar zart, aber schmeckte nach nichts. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis leidet auch unter der Tatsache das wir nach unserem Besuch zu unserem Asiaten unseres Vertrauens gegangen sind um uns da nochmal eine Hauptspeise zu holen da die Wassersuppen aus dem Shin Ramen neben der Geschmacklosigkeit auch keine vernünftige Menge hatten. Nie wieder und absolut nicht zu empfehlen - so wird das auch leider weiter gegeben. NACHTRAG: Welch dreiste Rückmeldung vom Team/Inhaber - wie kann man nicht auf die Punkte eingehen und einfach nur kommentieren „wären Sie mal am Georgswall gewesen“ - entweder ich kommentiere die Rezension und gehe auf die Punkte ein, oder ich lasse es. Im Leben werde ich jedem erzählen niemals NIE weder zum Thielenplatz NOCH zum Georgswall zu gehen. Da der Georgswall ja wohl das selbe Konzept/Essen haben wird, werde ich auch dort auf eine unappetitliche Wassersuppe für 11-16€ verzichten - und aufgrund dieser frechen Rückmeldung.

Unser Essen war leider nur durchschnittlich. Preis -Leistungsverhältnis stimmt hier nicht. Portionen sind zu klein. Man sitzt sehr beengt. Wir mussten auch recht lange 25 Minuten auf unser Essen warten. Es gibt bessere Alternativen.

Ein netter freundlicher Laden. Super lecker und super schnell.
