SHIKI Restaurant & Cocktailbar in Dresden

We came without a reservation, but the friendly lady at reception quickly found a solution for us. The atmosphere and service were first class – simply at the highest level! The tea was exceptionally aromatic and unique. I ordered a salad with duck breast - fresh, with fruity notes, and the meat was crispy and delicious. I also tried the duck breast with noodles that my friend ordered. The texture of the meat was wonderfully tender, with a slight hint of smoke - it literally melted in your mouth. A great culinary experience – highly recommended!

I was there for the first time the day before New Year's Eve. So delicious. Totally attentive and lovely service. From the appetizer to the cocktail - everything was really good. Despite the full house, it was still a relaxed atmosphere. Highly recommend the French toast as an appetizer. Be sure to reserve a table on the weekends!

Great restaurant, a very interesting menu and absolutely delicious dishes. The fish was first class! So far the best sushi restaurant in Germany for us.

We had dinner with friends in this restaurant. Unfortunately we did not get a table on the upper floor which really has the better atmosphere, because there are less tables. Less bistro style. Food and service were really good. So definitely recommended!

We had a really nice evening at Shiki in Dresden! The food was simply great – from fresh oysters to delicious appetizers to the perfectly fried filet mignon. The sushi rolls were also great and beautifully prepared. There was also plenty of champagne, which made the evening even more special. Great food, good atmosphere - we'll definitely be back!

Very, very friendly staff and the food was great.

Unfortunately I can't rate the food at all because we left. In front of the restaurant there was a large display with offers and low prices without restrictions. When we went inside to look for these deals on the menu, the waitress informed us that they were only valid Monday through Friday, but it was Saturday. We are of course aware of this regulation and it is completely fine, but it was not to be found at the exhibitor. When I pointed it out to her, she claimed it was there. When I showed her that it wasn't true, she said that it had been washed off by yesterday's rain (it hadn't rained). That was too cheeky.

The rooms were a bit too dark for me but otherwise it was really worth the visit. We had really quick and very friendly service and the food was really worth the money. A fresh food and special creation, simply wonderful. I had such a delicious non-alcoholic cocktail that I will visit this restaurant again in the coming days for that reason alone.

The reservation was uncomplicated. We received a very friendly welcome. Food and drinks were top. The waiter was super nice. It wasn't the last time we were there.

Mega leckeres Essen, nicht ganz so preiswert. Aber man darf sich ja auch mal was gönnen und hier macht das auch Spaß, da es sehr abwechslungsreiche Speisen gibt. Egal ob man Sushi mag oder nicht - es gibt auch sehr leckere Alternativen. Die Weine haben uns nicht so überzeugt, aber das ist ja bekanntlich Geschmackssache.

Four of us were guests on a Saturday evening and we were not disappointed. The service was attentive, wait times were short and the food was excellent. The only (small) point deduction I actually have to give is for my lobster ramen. A great dish in itself, but I would have liked the lemon pepper sauce to be a little more intense. However, it's fair to say that I had the really outstanding Seafood Soup beforehand, which was really rich and strong and therefore probably influenced my taste. Final conclusion: I would eat here again and again. Keep it up

Very nice restaurant, cozy and stylishly furnished. On a Monday evening we even got a table without a reservation, despite the restaurant being pretty full. The table was beautifully set and the service was very friendly. We were advised that the sushi would take a little longer as the sushi master was busy. But the wait was definitely worth it. The sushi was really perfect. The salmon was super tender, the vegetables were fresh, the avocado was perfectly ripe. The salmon tartare on the sushi was also delicious!

Very high price, but the food and service are top notch. Super friendly. The fish (sashimi) melts in your mouth. A top address for sushi & Co. in Dresden. On weekends it is advisable to make a reservation in advance otherwise it could be tight.

Absurdly expensive. The udon noodles with chicken were absolutely nothing special. Unfortunately the chicken was particularly bland. Sushi looked amazing. Aperol Spritz 9 euros.

On a city trip to Dresden - we were actually looking for another restaurant, on the way there we passed Shiki or decided we would rather eat there. What a pleasant surprise!!! Modern but cozy atmosphere with a shelf that reaches to the ceiling, filled with various vodkas, gins and whiskeys from Asian production. The service was very nice and attentive, the meal was much more tasty than average, grilled duck breast with various vegetables and teriyaki sauce for my wife, also grilled duck breast with Asian noodles for me - EXCEPTIONALLY tasty, the duck breast grilled to perfection (i.e. still very light in the middle bloody) - for me the best duck breast so far! The service, ambience and the meal deserve at least five stars and we will definitely eat something delicious there again on our next trip to Dresden. Absolute recommendation!!!!!

Who knows what the food tastes like. Even after an hour you still get nothing. The organization is obviously more than questionable. If you cannot adequately handle large numbers of guests, you should not accept guests. I am very disappointed and upset.

There were five of us in this restaurant and unfortunately we had some negative experiences with the service. At first we had to wait a long time for the menu and finally got it ourselves because there was no waitress in sight. While the starter came quickly, we had to wait significantly longer for both the main courses and the dessert. Another problem was that no soy sauce was served with the sushi. We spent a long time trying to get the waiter's attention to ask about it, which took far too long. The positive aspects are the food and the ambience, which we liked overall. The drinks and food were beautifully presented and there was a wide variety of dishes. However, neither the sushi nor the Thai curry was particularly outstanding - it was just good. All in all a mixed experience where the food was good but the service was disappointing.

I like it very much. And since we ended up there the first time unintentionally, it's all the better. The food is really amazing. Prepared so lovingly and never had better sushi. The service is great, attentive but not intrusive. I feel comfortable and would like to come back.

If goggle had more stars I would have given it more than 5 the food was damn tasty the chiller instinct I could have drank liters of it it was so delicious everything was perfect I'll always be happy that was the first time I ate crunchy rolls and fresh oysters and I loved it, it is a recommendation for anyone who wants to go out for a meal rich in vitamins

So food really horrible. Apart from the fact that every single food except meat was fish or fish flavored. It's just not worth the price. The service was great and the atmosphere was way too hectic but the chairs were very comfortable. I wouldn't recommend it.

Was there outside yesterday after work. It was quite loud the whole time due to tram and car traffic. Almost all of the tables were bare - no napkins, cutlery, etc., and no soy sauce on the tables. Ordering the drink was relatively quick. I chose the fish soup as a starter. Then a small bowl arrived that wasn't worth the money (€14.50). Too little content for too much money! Then I waited 45 minutes for my Sushi for One menu (recommended by the waitress) for €33.90. I was simply forgotten. While I was waiting, I wasn't asked if I wanted a new drink. When I asked about the menu, the waitress who took my order thought I wanted to pay. 😎 I turned down a half-price dessert to compensate. The trouble was too great and it wasn't that full of guests. This was my first and last visit there!!

Everything is really right here, the dishes are super tasty, the atmosphere is nice. Furthermore, the cocktails are very creative!

Price-performance ratio not good

We were disappointed.. a salad for €16.00 which had a few lettuce leaves in it which unfortunately tasted like earth and 4 small pieces of duck, the peanuts described in the salad were completely missing. The sushi tasted good but fell apart a bit. Drinks were good. Overall a bit disappointing though, we went in hungry and left hungry.

Appearances are deceiving. The employees are very friendly, but unfortunately not very accommodating. Unfortunately, the typical questions about whether everything was okay didn't materialize, and when we were clearing away we didn't ask whether it was tasty, just whether we were full. The food itself was very tasteless and every sushi tasted equally bland. I never thought salmon could taste like nothing. Wasabi and ginger were okay so far but that's not what I go to a sushi restaurant for... Maybe it's nicely prepared for taking photos and as an influencer, but unfortunately it's tasteless. The prices are also very inappropriate. No recommendation from me.

A super central corner with a nice view (albeit right on the street but in the 30s zone). The food was tasty and the portions were a good size, the non-alcoholic cocktails were great! However, the price (probably due to the location) is steep in relation to the food. Not recommended for regular visits but recommended as a special event

We were at SHIKI on a Saturday evening. The restaurant was busy at 6 p.m. but not crowded. The noise was pleasant and the ambiance was chic and upscale without being too over the top. It was just SHIKI (: The food was really very tasty. There was nothing wrong with it. The menu was very diverse and included vegetarian, vegan and meat dishes, so that everyone got their money's worth. What I personally found lacking at Lobster Ramen was the service. On the one hand, the menu doesn't say that you are served king prawns, which you have to cut up yourself, and on the other hand, a refreshing towel for your fingers and an additional plate for the shells were only brought after I had given a clear indication. There was no special cutlery, but that was okay. However, these are things that, in my opinion, really have to be in a restaurant that charges €28 for 3 king prawns with 100 g of ramen and some salad. Apart from that, the menus unfortunately stuck terribly, but that can be overlooked in the overall picture. It was definitely a nice evening.

Since we were brushed off at 10:30 p.m. on a Saturday with “we’re closed,” I unfortunately can’t say anything about the drinks. Online opening time 00:30. 1/3 of the places were still occupied. The mood in the store has already completely gone down to zero. Next time call ahead? Or just don't come back.

I was very impressed with this restaurant. I received a very friendly welcome. I didn't have a reservation and I was even allowed to choose a seat that was still available. The staff is friendly and courteous. I had a cocktail drink brought to me called CHILLER INSTINCT, simply refreshing. The restaurant also has a cocktail bar that offers various spectacular drinks. I would love to try all the cocktails... As a starter I had Tom Yam Gung (soup), it was simply amazing! Intense flavor and slightly spicy, you have to try it! For the main course I ate grilled duck a la EXOTIC TAMARIND STYLE. The meat was delicately pink and tasted slightly smoky, excellent flavor, vegetables were crunchy as they should be. For dessert I ordered chocolate mousse, which came with three different “cams”. - Matcha - Chocolate - Fruit Simply a dream dessert! I'll come back on my next visit! :)

More cocktail bar than sushi - if you like that, you've come to the right place, lots of sushi variations with cream cheese - that doesn't have much in common with traditional sushi - little selection of nigiri, salmon and scallop and salmon sashimi was good, we would have liked more sushi, next time that's enough us the cocktail menu.

Pretty overpriced but delicious! Could be a little more for the money. Unfortunately, the opening times are not adhered to. It says outside and also on the internet, open until 3 p.m. but the shop is closed at 2 p.m. Very irritating. Thought you could have lunch until 3 p.m.... 🤔

Excellent food and drinks! Soup, main course and sushi all of the best quality and taste. Whether it's miso soup or teriyaki duck, everything is prepared with good taste and quickly. What caught our attention the most was our waitress, who can be described as more than charming! Thank you for the lovely evening!

Very expensive and relatively good quality. Unfortunately, the poor service doesn't match this - the staff is inattentive and as a guest you always have to make yourself noticed. The furnishings are stylish, but there is a lack of ambience and coziness.

Everything was mostly perfect, altough you could mention in the menu that the Sushi Plate contains thin slices of pork. Usually people expect fish when ordering Sushi.
