Mikado Oishii in Dresden

We really enjoy going there. The food tastes fantastic and the prices are right. Cozy atmosphere and even as a vegetarian you will feel full. Service was very mixed: from very friendly and quick to "I'll play a little more on the phone". With the latter, I brought my dishes to the kitchen myself because she consistently ignored us ^^' that was (and hopefully remains) a unique event.

This restaurant is pleasant in size and atmosphere. The food is absolutely delicious and there is something on the menu for everyone. The price is also right in my opinion.

Nice shop, service on point. Food comes a little too quickly, so you've just finished the starter when the main course arrives. Fresh and tasty, I like to go there. Ambiance ok.

We enjoy eating here and often order for pickup. The ambience seems rather cool, but that's certainly a matter of taste. The fact that soy sauce is only available in these horrible little plastic fish always bothers us, but it remains unchanged. Card payments are not very welcome. The food is really very good, fantastic sushi and the warm dishes are also impressive.

The Christmas party was really special. Heated in the winter garden with a pellet fire pipe. Really rustic and extraordinary ambience. The food was unique and delicious. Thank you dear service team, keep it up!!

Super tasty and recommended. Unfortunately not for dog owners, we even called ahead and were told small dogs were allowed and we could take ours with us. Then we arrived and a waitress cheekily told us that the dog was definitely not allowed in because there was apparently no room, guests might be afraid of dogs and the dog was too big, but none of that was the case. Most likely she simply had a big personal problem with dogs, and unfortunately she was very uncompromising, so we had to drive the dog back again, settle for a far away parking lot and eat later. Really pointless. All other employees were very friendly.

Food was ok. But there are better sushi places. Service was unnoticeable, you were never asked for any additional drinks. We were left high and dry. But the worst thing was the payment. Card payments were only accepted from €30 onwards. Where is something like that? There was no information about this on the website either.

Service unfriendly. I was served the wrong meal (with fish), even though I had pointed out when ordering that I wanted it vegan. The food was not taken back. I had to pay for it even though I gave it back. Very uncooperative and unfriendly. I won't come here anymore.

Big praise for the kitchen - from Tom Kha Gai to various sushi to baked banana - everything was great. There is no skimping on quality ingredients here, the cooking points are right, everything is very well seasoned. The jasmine tea that was brought in advance was also of very good quality. Unfortunately the service didn't have its best day. Friendliness that seemed strained, inattentive, and not only my food kept standing at the pass for a long time. This simply doesn't work with fried foods. At the end, the friendly chef brought my baked bananas to the table. Unfortunately they were already cold by then. But I would happily come back for the great quality of the dishes. Reservations should be made in the evening.

We had sushi and before that Tuna Tataki, the Tataki was poor, 4 small pieces which were also cold, which unfortunately wasn't really good. The sushi was average. However, the lemonade was so good Japanese tea with ginger and mint that I would go there again just for that. Instead of sushi, eat one of the curry faces here, you can't go wrong here.

Super delicious food and friendly staff. Atmospherically furnished. The only point of criticism: faceless international pop music as the background noise doesn't fit the ambience. Please, please play Asian music! We would much rather visit your restaurant! Addendum from August 1st, 2023: Unfortunately we are no longer satisfied with the quality of the food lately. While everything used to be lovingly prepared, now it often looks thrown together and sloppy. The taste has also diminished. We also don't like the reduction in opening times - but well, there's probably no one other than us who wants to eat sushi in the early afternoon...

Ordered three dishes today (8,41,mikado1) to eat at home. The most expensive, number 41 (used noodles...) was far too little, the bowl was 1/3 full. The other dishes were good. But for a total of 33 euros for 2 people if I picked it up myself, I would have expected more. Are really disappointed. More effort is made when eating directly on site. We're not coming any more for now. Price/performance is not right.

Very very friendly service. The ambience is also very nice. Unfortunately, I personally didn't like it. But that was more due to the sauces that were put over the sushi. Not my case. Maybe next time I'll order with the information that I don't want any sauce. I think it tastes perfect for me 😉

We had ordered the food to be picked up. As stated, it was ready and ready for collection quickly. At home I opened the bag and then I was disappointed. For a reasonable price, the containers were often not even half full. The taste was great, but we didn't really get full. The miso soup, the seaweed salad and the tea that were included in the sushi bento special were particularly negative. That's not even half a portion. The bottom of the container was already sticking out for the other main courses. Unfortunately there were no dipping sauces for the spring rolls either. So all in all: taste great but portion size very disappointing.

Good Japanese restaurant, great soups and sushi.

This was our first time at Mikado and I have nothing to complain about 😌 The atmosphere is chic, maybe a bit cramped but that's what the rooms do. Beautifully designed. The food was great. We had a platter for 2 and ordered 1x PizzaSushi (because we wanted to try it), but we barely managed it, but the platter itself would have been fine. There is a small drawback for the service; everyone was very friendly but came across as stressed. After the food came, no one asked if you wanted something to drink (of course you can ask yourself, but attentive waiters want to sell 😉) And when I was finished, I didn't want anything else 😅

We had a lovely evening at Mikado: great cocktails, a super tasty sushi platter for two and the sushi pizza (very tasty, by the way!). Chic rooms, friendly service. The store was very busy - reservations are recommended. The waitress could still have stopped by the table between ordering and paying :)

Underwhelming food -- except for the mango-curry. And do not go expecting an authentic japanese restaurant. This is just a mix of a bunch of different asian cuisine. Unfortunately the service is also very lacking. The stuff was somewhat rude to me on two different occasions. The atmosphere itself is kinda nice.

Sehr freundlicher Service, Gut gerolltes leckeres sushi. Einzig für den deutschen Salat als Deko gibt es einen Abzug bei der Atmosphäre, dies passt einfach nicht dazu. Entweder weglassen oder durch z.b. etwas Kimchi ersetzen. Preisleistung ist auch sehr gut.

Definitiv eines der besten, wenn nicht sogar das beste und gemütlichste Sushi-Restaurant in Dresden. Tolles Ambiente, schnelle und nette Bedienung, eine ausreichende Speisekarte die auch Vegetarier und Nicht-Sushi-Esser zum schlemmen einlädt, und sehr liebevoll angerichtete Speisen und Getränke. Dafür bin ich gern bereit, etwas mehr als im Schnell-Restaurant auszugeben. Kurzum: ich hatte nichts zu bemängeln, und komme gern wieder.

The interior is beautiful. Food is beautifully served. Still, the taste is basic and the amount of plastic packaging for the souce is disappointing. Every time you need to fill more soy sauce - you need to ask the waiter. It was very uncommon.

Sushi war ok, für mich gibt es aber besseres. Leider Sojasauce nicht wie erwartet in einem Kännchen oder Flasche auf dem Tisch, es gibt nur kleine Tütchen, muss man auch selber in die Schälchen schütten. Sehr billig und bei dem Preis nicht akzeptabel. Vielleicht ändert sich das im Laufe der Zeit. Service war aber gut und daher 4 Sterne.

Good food, but terrible service!! They don’t seem to know how to smile. One waitress was so rude, she talked as if we owe her money. I was there with my 2.5 y/o after a long travel that day. Taking care of a toddler alone was already hard, and my daughter started to have stomach pain during dinner (though nothing to do with the food there, we barely started eating). She struggled for a while and I decided to take her home with all the unfinished sushi taken away. The waitress immediately said, with a poker face, that if I took the leftovers away, I would be charged 1euro extra, which I was fine with. Then her colleague came and asked if I would pay in cash or card. I said Apple pay. Then she went away. After packing our food, the first waitress came back with the bill and said I was not allowed to pay by card because the order was less than 30euro (it was 26.20). I felt a bit annoyed, and said you should have told me before coz your friend there didn’t say anything when I wanted to pay with card. Then she started saying it was on the window outside with this rule. Fine. I gave her a 50euro and she gave 8.8euro in return and was leaving. I said I gave you a 50. She said I already gave you a 20. I said no you didn’t, I don’t have a 20 in my wallet. She then gave me a 20 and seemed annoyed. I was ready to leave coz my daughter was feeling miserable. The same waitress came up to us again after 10 seconds and said I think I give you more than I need to. All of sudden she grabbed the 5euro change from my table without even explaining what went wrong or trying to show my the bill again. I was totally shocked at that point. It was like we were scamming her. After requesting to see the bill again, I calculated myself and let her take the 5euro note. But the attitude…not feeling sorry at all for her behavior or her own mistake. Will avoid this place at all cost.

Dieses kleine, aber feine, Lokal sollte unbedingt von Ihnen besucht werden, wenn Sie in Dresden sind! Es gibt unglaublich leckeres Sushi, frisch zubereitet, zu absolut gerechtfertigten Preisen - natürlich gibt es auch eine große Auswahl an anderen Asia-Gerichten, leckeren Getränken - und die Stimmung im sehr schick dekorierten Restaurant ist passend zum Essen, denn alles ist im japanisch-traditionellen Stil gestaltet. Der Service ist ausgezeichnet - sehr kinderfreundlich, es gab kostenlos Krabbenchips, wird wurden zügig bedient, es gibt alles auch zum Mitnehmen - GANZ große Empfehlung!!!

Eine sehr leckere Erfahrung in einem angenehmen Ambiente. Interessant dabei die Sushi-Stückchen, welche geröstet und frittiert worden. Kannten wir bisher noch nicht. Sehr empfehlenswert!

Wunderschönes kleines aber feines Restaurant mit fantastischem Essen, selbst als Vegetarier hat man ein leckeres Menü und Auswahl an weiteren Desserts. Wirklich empfehlenswert.

Leider war unsere Erfahrung nicht so toll. Bedienung war schnell angenervt, wir haben uns als störend empfunden. Die Bedienung hatte wohl Hunger, denn als wir 15 min vor Schließung zahlen wollten, aß die Belegschaft gemeinsam zu Mittag uns wir mussten warten. Sushi okay, jedoch absolut überteuert. Im oberen Stockwerk stank es nach Zigarettenrauch. Alles in Allen, nicht des Geldes Wert.

Sehr gutes Sushi. Die Preise selbst sind völlig in Ordnung. Bloß die Portionsgröße lässt etwas zu wünschen übrig so, das man dazu gezwungen ist mehr als ein Menü zu bestellen was dann doch etwas ins Geld geht.

Wir waren mit Familie im Mikado essen und waren begeistert. Der Service sehr aufmerksam wenn auch noch unerfahren. Ambiente gemütlich. Das Essen ist sehr gut, Sushi mit wenig Reis und viel Inhalt, das Kimchi grandios. Ebenfalls eine Empfehlung die hausgemachten Limonaden! Wir werden definitiv wiederkommen bzw. Take away nutzen.

Nettes Ambiente, Reservierung notwendig! Es dibt auch Tische im 1. Stock und vor dem Restaurant (leider an der stark befahrenen Chemnitzer Straße) ! Freundlicher Service, der Hinweis, dass an Jugendliche, auch wenn Eltern dabei sind, kein Bier ausgeschenkt wird, könnte netter rüber gebracht werden!

Ein wunderbares Ambiente gepaart mit hervorragendem Essen lässt sich nicht abstreiten. Auch der Service ist sehr gut. Der einzige Punkt der für mich unschön gewesen ist, sind die hohen Preise. Dennoch ein hervorragendes Restaurant.

Super leckeres Sushi Restaurant :) Das beste was ich je gegessen habe. Es gibt auch noch andere leckere Speisen auf der Karte die das nächste mal probiert werden. Kleines feines und gemütliches Lokal. Das Personal ist auch sehr freundlich und die Preise top. Es ist alles frisch zubereitet,so wie es sein muss . Wir kommen definitiv wieder ☺️

Der Laden ist klein aber OHOOOO! Der Service sehr flink und höflich. Das Sushi, das gesamte bestellte Essen ist der absolute Megakracher (Sushi-Platte für 4, Wakame Salat, Dragon Roll & ein Hauptmenü). Die Getränkepreise sind für meinen Geschmack etwas zu hoch aber das Essen macht es wett. Ich werde hier wohl immer Sushi essen gehen!

Das Essen ist immer gut. Die ältere Kellnerin ist meistens unfreundlich. 20min bevor das Restaurant ist schließt, nimmt Sie das Bier vom Tisch, auch wenn es noch halbvoll ist. Das war mir irgendwie zuviel.

War auf dem Weg, einfach mal reingeschaut. War zwar nicht preiswert, aber hat wirklich gut geschmeckt und war reichhaltig. Werden bestimmt noch öfter reinschauen.

Le restaurant est très sympa visuellement. Malheureusement, les sushis dépendent grandement de la qualité des produits qui n'était pas présente... Le saumon n'avait aucun goût, par exemple... Mais peut-être que les plats son meilleurs !

Es war das beste Sushi das ich bisher in Dresden gegessen habe.

Klein aber fein, die Gerichte mit Undo-Nudeln waren frisch und lecker, das trifft auch auf die Suppen und den Seetangsalat ( dieser war sehr lecker angemacht, einfach spitze), für Getränk Vorsuppe, Salat und Hauptgang knapp 30 Euro ist völlig ok, dafür bekommt man auch etwas nicht alltäglichens.

Ich war zur Mittagszeit da: Mikado hat einen guten Ruf in Dresden. Leider wirkt dieses Mikado nicht als hätte es viel gemeinsam mit dem Original in der Neustadt. Die Bedienung ist zurückhaltend und funktional, die Auswahl ist noch mehr auf Sushi fokussiert und die Portionen dieser Gerichte sind viel zu klein für den Preis. Die Einrichtung ist sehr schön, setzt aber die Gesamterwartung zu hoch. Der Sushi ist gut aber auch nicht überragend!

Leider sind die Öffnungszeiten auf der Webseite und bei Google Maps nicht identisch. Ich hatte es mehrfach, dass ich vor der Tür stand und sie nicht offen hatten. Sehr ärgerlich.
