Mikado Friends in Dresden

Sushi unfortunately average, service average, often absent and also inattentive. The espresso was a diluted coffee, tasted completely wrong and no card payment was possible. Price/performance not justified based on the facts mentioned. In total disappointing. Unfortunately we cannot confirm the positive reviews and we will not go there again.

Waren Ostersonntag zum Mittagessen, kaum Gäste im Restaurant. Zwei unterschiedliche Essen von Reis mit knuspriger Ente bestellt . Das Entenfleisch meiner Begleitung sah noch ansprechend aus. Meine Ente war von Sehnen und Fett durchzogen. Die knusprige Haut schmeckte ranzig wie in altem Fett gebacken. Essen ging zurück und Glasnudeln im Wok mit Gemüse bestellt. Glasnudeln waren garantiert nicht frisch im Wok zubereitet. Sehr matschig und Essen war recht geschmacklos. Beide essen keine Empfehlung. Es gibt in Dresden bessere asiatische Restaurants.

I enjoyed it very much. I thought it was great that some of the sushi had something warm in it; I had never heard of that before. You didn't have to wait long for the food and the service was nice too. The baked bananas could have had 1-2 more pieces on them, otherwise they were very tasty. I can only recommend it.

Ich war zum Abendessen mit meiner Familie, das Restaurant hat ein sehr Schönes Ambiente sowohl innen als auch außen. Das Personal im Restaurant war zwar freundlich aber etwas schwer verständlich, wir haben aber trotzdem alles bekomme was wir uns bestellt hatten, die Getränke und das Essen waren sehr lecker und der Preis am Ende war meiner Meinung nach auch angemessen. Insgesamt war es ziemlich gut, ich empfehle einen Tisch zu reservieren da das Restaurant ziemlich voll war. Danke für den Netten Abend wir kommen gern wieder!

Unfortunately we didn't have a good experience with Mikado Friends last night. We ordered three hot dishes over the phone and said the number/letter for each one as well as saying that it should all have tofu. When we got home, we discovered that all three meals were made with fried chicken. So for two vegetarians all that was left was rice with sauce and a few vegetables. At least the meat was packaged separately and the two of them could leave it out. The taste of the food was ok, but it didn't justify the price. Unfortunately, we also discovered on site that card payments were not possible, which we were not informed of on the phone.

Tested for the first time. Sushi unfortunately only mediocre, sometimes not much fish. But having several bones in the sashimi is not possible. Ambiance pretty rocked down. This urgently needs renovation. Payment only in cash or PayPal - where can you get that? Is there tax cheating going on here? We won't be coming back, there are much better alternatives in DD.

The food was delicious and came quickly. The dog was also allowed to come with us, which we thought was great. The atmosphere was pleasantly calm.

We had another take-out order. The request for reusable packaging was ignored and an invoice was only given upon request. Too bad.

Shabby chic, or carelessly run down? In any case, this restaurant needs a thorough cleaning including the toilets. Food came to the table quickly and tasted good, but nothing special. Unfortunately, only with the baked pineapple could you clearly taste the far too old deep fryer fat. In my opinion, the trip from the other end of the city wasn't worth it.

Only discovered by chance on the edge of the flood in late summer 24. Then I'll probably take a look at it soon when the opportunity is better...🤔😃👍

Caution! Payment is only possible in cash or via Paypal (!). Since this is completely unusual in the catering industry, and as a customer you are only presented with this alternative after consumption (there are no corresponding instructions at the entrance or at the table), you have a problem. Very incomprehensible and not very trustworthy. Reminds me of tax trickery.

We often eat sushi and curry dishes but the food that arrived with Lieferando was just soggy and cold. My husband even had a hair in his curry. The sushi was the worst I've ever eaten so far. We had total stomach ache afterwards. For €60 you would expect something different in terms of value for money. Unfortunately never again!

We come by every few months. However, the quality is declining sharply. Loveless sushi is drowned in some sweet sauce, the curry was tasteless. The lemonades were also designed more lovingly. Loud party music is playing at the same time. Just doesn't fit into the concept. Too bad. Let's see what happens in the future ;)

The food (mango salad with shrimps) wasn't that good today and wasn't worth the price. The homemade lemonade (passion fruit) tasted watery instead of fruity. Very unfortunate...

Was a nice visit. We sat outside and the restaurant was relatively empty, which I appreciated. The food was fresh and extremely tasty. It would also be brought to the table quickly. The service was behind and often asked if we were satisfied. Why only 4 stars? There was a half-dead wasp in the freshly brought cocktail. I think this is suboptimal for allergy sufferers and should be avoided. We will still recommend the restaurant at any time and go there again.

Today we were at the Mikado in Dresden's old town for the first and last time. Sorry... that doesn't work at all. Price (13.90 €) / performance is not justified. Taste wise - fried way too long - very disappointed. The service is very friendly.

We had very tasty sushi and a timely, friendly delivery. Unfortunately, not everything on the record was delivered. Nigiri was missing. Unfortunately, we only noticed when we were already too far along, as a subsequent delivery would no longer have made sense. Annoying, because 4 nigiri aren't completely free.

Beautiful place, tasty sushi 🍱, and amazing juice: Mango-lemonade. The service was excellent. This is my second visit, and I tried the Mango Sauce with chicken fillet, which was incredibly delicious! However, the curry-mango sauce available at the other Mikado Friend restaurant in the center is not on the menu here. Here, the options are limited to mango or curry. P.S. The toilets were clean and beautifully maintained. It’s advantageous that they are located a floor below to prevent any odors from reaching the dining area.

The Vietnamese/Japanese restaurant prepares delicious food (for example 🍣). The location is easy to reach as trains and buses run nearby (Schillerplatz stop). The restaurant itself is themed appropriately and the staff is very friendly.

Wir waren eingeladen und das erste Mal da. Wir waren schon über das schöne Ambiente beg. Die Speisekarte war sehr übersichtlich und ansprechend. Wir bestellten mehrere Gerichte und ich muss sagen, jedes davon hat geschmeckt! Es waren große Portionen und diese sehr schön angerichtet.

Mikado Friends in der Tolkewitzer Straße ist wirklich sehr zu empfehlen. Heute Abend war die Bedienung sehr zuvorkommend. Die Speisen sehr geschmackvoll. Einen Besuch in diesem Restaurant kann ich deshalb absolut empfehlen. Vielen Dank an das gesamte Team und auf ein baldiges Wiedersehen.

Wie immer sehr lecker. Wir gehen gern zum Essen hin oder holen uns frisch zubereitet Sushi ab. Die Reservierung als auch Bestellung funktioniert problemlos.

Wir hatten einen Tisch für vier Personen über das Online-Tool reserviert. Leider wurde diese Reservierung vom Personal nicht gefunden, als wir im Restaurant ankamen. Einen Tisch haben wir zum Glück dennoch erhalten. Von den vier bestellten Getränken, wurden zwei falsch zubereitet (bestellt: Lillet Vive - gebracht: Lillet Wild Berry). Das äußerst leckere und liebevoll angerichtete Essen konnte den holprigen Start jedoch wieder wettmachen. Alle vier Gäste waren mit ihren Speisen (Kokosmilchsuppe, Wantang-Suppe, Frühlingsrolle, Seetangsalat, Sushi-Menüs) sehr zufrieden. Das Ambiente des Restaurants wirkt auf den ersten Blick ansprechend. Bei genauerer Betrachtung fallen jedoch Spinnweben, abgeblätterte Farbe und Staub in den Ecken auf. Zusammenfassend war es jedoch ein schöner Aufenthalt, mit sehr leckerem Essen, welches absolut empfehlenswert ist.

Lockere Location mit gutem Essen. Wir hatten junges Personal, was nicht ganz perfect aber dafür locker & authentisch rüber kam. Insgesamt eine gute Empfehlung. Viele kleinere Tische, was gut für Paare ist. Aber es gibt auch einige Bereiche mit richtig vielen Plätzen, so dass auch größere Gruppen happy werden.

Ein wirklich sehr schöner Ort zum Essen. Leise Musik und sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Die Bedienung war ebenfalls sehr freundlich. Die Vorspeisen, sowie das Sushi waren wirklich sehr gut, bei den Udon Nudeln hat etwas gefehlt, dadurch haben sie etwas fade geschmeckt. Aber insgesamt ein tolles Erlebnis.

Mikado Friends...reinkommen und wohlfühlen! Es gibt super leckeres Essen in einem sehr schönen und gemütlichen Ambiente mit sehr freundlichem Personal. Wird definitiv wiederholt😉

Unser letzter Besuch im Mikado war leider etwas enttäuschend. Das Essen war okay, der Service vollkommen überfordert und nicht sonderlich gut. Unsere Vorspeise (Vorspeisen Set 2) kam recht schnell. Geschmacklich gut, von der Menge sehr klein gehalten. Für zwei Personen und den Preis hätte ich etwas mehr erwartet. Die Hauptspeisen kamen recht schnell im Anschluss. Leider wurde hier erst das Besteck vergessen und dann die Soße. Der Service war sehr schwer erreichbar, weshalb das Essen dann schon etwas kühl war - schade! Unsere Getränkebestellung wurde nur teilweise umgesetzt. Mal kam die falsche Größe, mal kam gar nichts. Alles in allem hat es geschmeckt, aber der Service hat an dem Abend vieles zunichte gemacht. Sehr schade, wir sind andere gewöhnt. Wichtig: KEINE Zahlung per Karte möglich. Ausschließlich Bar oder per PayPal.

Das Essen schmeckte sehr gut, obwohl die Vorspeisenpreise nicht im Verhältnis zu den Hauptgerichten stehen. Leider war der Service katastrophal, hier merkt man eindeutig den Personalmangel. Man sollte sich entscheiden ob man Lieferdienste bedient und Kunden im Restaurant.

Nur Bares ist Wares. Keine Kreditkarten!

Wir waren begeistert von dem schönen, gemütlichen Ambiente innen sowie außen. Ganz ganz toll und authentisch- asiatisch. Der Service war schnell und freundlich. Das Essen ist frisch, lecker und ansehnlich zubereitet. Auch das Sushi sah köstlich aus! Wir kommen wieder.

Mit einem Sushi-Menü kann man nichts falsch machen. Lecker, frisch und schnell serviert. Meine Empfehlung.

Asiatisches Restaurant an der Hauptstraße in Tolkewitz. Wenn man auf der Terrasse sitzt, fährt die Straßenbahn direkt an einem vorbei, was gottseidank durch eine dichte Hecke abgemildert wird. Das Essen war gut, die Ente etwas trocken. Der Service ist freundlich, wenn auch überlastet, wenn es voll ist. Insgesamt waren wir zufrieden, zumal wir spontan dort waren. Was aber nicht geht ist, dass man nur mit paypal oder bar zahlen kann. Ein Schelm, wer Böses dabei denkt ... Das ist nicht mehr zeitgemäß!

Das Essen war super lecker und die Bedienung freundlich. Am warmen Septemberabend konnten wir in angenehmer Umgebung draussen sitzen. Nur leider tanzten die Kakerlaken um und auch auf unserem Tisch. Wir kommen trotzdem wieder und nehmen einen anderen Platz.

Super leckeres Essen. Sushi ebenso wie die Kokossuppe als Vorspeise und/oder das Curry. Die Bedienung ist wirklich sehr sehr gut. Freundlich, höflich und sehr auf Zack. Warum ich das erwähne ist, dass es einige Zeit negative Kritik über das Personal gab. Das kann ich aktuelle bei meinen beiden Besuchen nicht bestätigen.

Hier sind einige Gründe, warum ich dieses Restaurant wärmstens empfehlen kann: Vom Moment meiner Ankunft an fühlte ich mich herzlich willkommen. Das Ambiente des Restaurants ist einladend und elegant, was perfekt zur Gesamterfahrung beiträgt. Die Speisekarte ist abwechslungsreich und ansprechend. Die Auswahl an Gerichten aus frischen Zutaten lässt das Herz eines jeden Feinschmeckers höher schlagen. Der Service war erstklassig. Das Personal war aufmerksam, freundlich und kenntnisreich. Sie waren in der Lage, Empfehlungen abzugeben und waren stets bereit, auf individuelle Vorlieben einzugehen. Nun zum Höhepunkt: Das Essen selbst war außergewöhnlich. Jedes Gericht, das ich bestellte, wurde meisterhaft zubereitet und präsentierte eine fesselnde Kombination von Aromen. Die Präsentation der Speisen war ebenso beeindruckend wie der Geschmack. Ich schätzte die Liebe zum Detail, die in jedes Gericht einfloss. Zusammenfassend kann ich sagen, dass das Mikado Friends eine herausragende kulinarische Erfahrung bietet. Es ist der perfekte Ort für besondere Anlässe oder um sich einfach mal etwas Besonderes zu gönnen. Die Kombination aus exquisitem Essen, exzellentem Service und angenehmer Atmosphäre macht dieses Restaurant zu einem wahren Juwel in der kulinarischen Szene Dresden´s. Ich kann es kaum erwarten, zurückzukehren und weitere kulinarische Entdeckungen zu machen.
