Wirklich leckeres und authentisches Essen. Der Service war hervorragend, die Mitarbeiter freundlich und hilfsbereit und gaben Empfehlungen. Ich würde auf jeden Fall wiederkommen, da die Auswahl riesig ist.

Als ein Iraner, der in Deutschland sehr viel unterwegs und ein wahrer Shekamu ist, kann ich mit voller Überzeugung behaupten, dass Shekamu ein der besten iranischen Restaurant im ganzen Bundesgebiet ist. Mega freundliches Team, unfassbar leckeres Essen und als Getränk ist persian Garden die beste Wahl. Danke und weiter so👏

Wir haben auf der Website gesehen, dass eine Reservierung für 21:00 Uhr verfügbar war. Deshalb sind wir extra aus Stuttgart angereist. Als wir pünktlich um 21:00 Uhr angekommen sind, wurde uns jedoch gesagt, dass die Küche bereits geschlossen sei und wir nichts mehr bestellen könnten. Das war sehr enttäuschend und schlechter Service. Wenn die Küche zu dieser Uhrzeit bereits geschlossen ist, sollten Reservierungen für 21:00 Uhr gar nicht erst angeboten werden. So etwas sorgt nur für Frust und verschwendet die Zeit der Gäste. Wir hätten uns mehr Professionalität und eine bessere Organisation gewünscht.

Ich war mit einem Freund hier, wir hatten einen Mix-Teller für Kebabs mit Hähnchen und Beef, alles war perfekt, der Dessert mit persischem Eis serviert, oh, es war wunderbar, und freundliches Personal.

Sehr leckeres traditionelles Essen. Der würzige Basmatireis als Beilage schmeckt hervorragend. Die Gerichte passen genau zu meinem Geschmack. Vorsicht: Die Speisen sind sehr deftig und machen schnell satt!

Es ist ein kleines feines Lokal in der Südstadt und das Essen war sehr gut... wir hatten smdie gefüllten Reisbällchen und die BBQ Platte für zwei Personen... Zum ersten Mal da gewesen, aber sicher nicht zum letzten! Mama kocht hervorragend in der Küche, der Service ist sehr freundlich und fix und erklärt geduldig alles, was man wissen möchte. Das Publikum ist eher jung, aber sehr offen. Wir waren zu dritt nach dem Theater da und haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt, obwohl wir nicht so richtig ins Ambiente gepasst haben. Das Essen war es wirklich wert!

Eines der besten persischen Restaurants, die ich in Nürnberg besucht habe. Das Essen war absolut köstlich und voller authentischer Aromen. Das Grillfleisch war perfekt zubereitet, der Reis hervorragend und alle Gerichte frisch und sorgfältig angerichtet. Die Bedienung war freundlich und zuvorkommend und der Service erstklassig. Das Restaurant war sauber und hatte eine warme, angenehme Atmosphäre. Sehr empfehlenswert, ich werde definitiv wiederkommen.

Wir hatten hier ein wunderbares Erlebnis. Das Koobideh war köstlich, saftig und perfekt gegrillt mit einem intensiven Geschmack. Das Fesenjan war fantastisch, mit einer perfekten Balance aus süß und sauer dank der Walnuss-Granatapfel-Sauce. Der Safranreis war perfekt gekocht, schmeckte hervorragend und war wunderschön angerichtet – locker, formschön und voller Aroma. Das Safraneis war hervorragend, cremig und fein im Geschmack. Insgesamt großartiges Essen, authentische Aromen und exzellente Qualität. Ich komme auf jeden Fall wieder.

Das Essen ist sehr gut, probieren Sie unbedingt das Streetfood und die Grillgerichte. Es schmeckt fast wie in Pakistan. Falooda schmeckt zwar anders, ist aber auch sehr lecker.

Nicht nur das Essen war unglaublich lecker, sondern auch die Gastfreundlichkeit war einfach toll. Man hat sich vom ersten Moment an willkommen gefühlt. Die Getränke und das Essen waren eine 10/10. Wir hatten heute einen richtig schönen Abend mit super leckerem persischem Essen. Alles war frisch, voller Geschmack und einfach mit Liebe gemacht. Man merkt sofort, wenn Menschen ihren Job und ihre Küche wirklich lieben. Und ein riesiges Dankeschön an Heli. So herzlich, aufmerksam und sympathisch erlebt man Service echt selten. Sie hat mit ihrer lieben Art dafür gesorgt, dass wir uns den ganzen Abend total wohlgefühlt haben. Genau solche Menschen machen einen Restaurantbesuch besonders. Sehr schönes Restaurant! Leckeres Essen! Bei jedem Gericht merkt man die gute Qualität der Zutaten. Der Service war extrem aufmerksam und ich kann nicht nachvollziehen, woher die negativen Kommentare diesbezüglich kommen. Wir konnte auch problemlos einen Tisch im Innenbereich bekommen, obwohl wir nur noch für den Außenbereich reservieren konnten. Wir werden definitiv öfter kommen. Hier macht es richtig Spaß!! 🤩

Always a pleasant experience! Food is authentic and delicious (like that of my mother-in-law 😋) and the staff is really friendly and supportive in the decisions, always with a smile. The restaurant is cozy and nicely decorated, with poems and meaningful slogans. I loved the huge and nicely decorate haft sin they have built for the Persian new year. And there was even a special NYE menù! Remember to book in advance, it gets easily fully booked.

Food knocked our socks off. The appetizers were out of this world. The Persian hug chai was a foamy deliciousness, my main course was chicken, perfectly roasted, lava cake with saffron ice, pistachio creme and fruit for dessert. We wanna go again.

We went to this restaurant today because we had read many good reviews, but unfortunately we were disappointed. The tomatoes and peppers were cold, the meat lukewarm, and the rice was also lukewarm. The salad was okay, the dressing unremarkable. The ambiance was average. Overall, we couldn't understand the many positive reviews.

We celebrated a friend's birthday here, and if I could, I'd give it 10 stars! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The food and drinks were absolutely delicious! I had the Djudji Sultani Bowl and a homemade pomegranate syrup. The portions are so generous that you can easily take half home! But by far the best thing was the amazing team; everyone was so friendly and attentive. They even danced for us at the end and gave us a tutorial on Persian finger-flicking! 😍 It was a truly wonderful evening! I'll definitely be back soon! ‼️🥰

Best restaurant in Nuremberg! Delicious food and a very pleasant atmosphere!

Today, the four of us (my girlfriend and I) ate at this restaurant. The food was okay, nothing special, but not bad either. Unfortunately, the prices were very high and, in our opinion, disproportionate to the quality. There were three servers: two younger ones were friendly and professional, but the third, somewhat older person, wasn't particularly professional in their interactions with the guests. Overall, we were rather disappointed and wouldn't recommend the restaurant due to the high prices.

Food comes with excellent side dish. The atmosphere is fantastic and staff are super friendly. Barg could be done better for sure. Finally, tahdig is the best part of a Persian dish, it should not be sth extra ☹️

We visited Shekamu in Nuremberg for the first time and were absolutely thrilled. The staff is exceptionally friendly, warm, and attentive. You feel welcome from the moment you arrive – almost as if you've been coming here for years. For me, it was the first restaurant I've visited since my celiac disease diagnosis. I felt at ease right from the initial phone call. No lengthy explanation was needed, and they immediately understood that celiac disease is not the same as gluten intolerance. My initial concerns were also quickly dispelled upon arrival – they calmly and clearly explained that I had nothing to worry about. That was incredibly important to me. I'm also vegan and felt perfectly catered for. The food was sensationally good, beautifully presented, and the flavors were spot on. My wife had a meat dish that also looked very appetizing and tasted fantastic. The portions are perfectly proportioned – you definitely leave full and satisfied. I can also highly recommend the homemade lemonades. A true highlight. It was one of our culinary highlights of the year, not only because of the food, but also because of the incredibly friendly, empathetic, and competent staff. We'll definitely be back.

I was at the restaurant today with my family. Even though the place was almost completely empty, we were stopped at the door and turned away without any discussion – with the excuse that reservations were required. When there are hardly any guests and we're still immediately sent away, it doesn't seem credible at all. To me, it clearly looked like we simply weren't welcome. Very disappointing and disrespectful. That's no way to treat guests.

Today, our family wanted to enjoy a meal at a restaurant. The place was almost completely empty, with only a few guests inside. Despite this, we were turned away at the door with the explanation: "Reservations only today." When the room is visibly empty, this explanation simply doesn't ring true. To us, it seemed as if they simply didn't want to serve us – and that feels like clear discrimination. Very disappointing and disrespectful. This is no way to treat guests.

Excellent Persian cuisine. Reservations are essential and well worth it. The service is fantastic, with staff even explaining the menu to first-timers. This is incredibly helpful in deciding what to try. The mixed appetizers are highly recommended. The main courses are varied and delicious.

Excellent Persian cuisine in the heart of Nuremberg's southern district. You can immediately tell that the restaurant is family-run, as you receive a warm welcome and feel very much at home. The atmosphere can be a bit hectic at times due to the size of the premises. However, the service is excellent and always attentive to the guests. The minced meat skewers, as well as the chicken breast skewers and the lamb loin skewers, were all delicious and incredibly tender. The Persian rice served as a side dish was very tasty. The lychee spritz had the perfect balance of sweet and sour. Thank you so much, we will definitely be back! :)

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The warm welcome made us feel right at home. We really enjoyed the food. It was great that the staff explained the dishes. We received excellent advice – we couldn't decide between the mixed grill and the stew, and the server even brought us small sample bowls of the stew. I ended up choosing the Kubide mixed grill and I highly recommend it. We'll definitely be back!

As soon as you enter, you feel a warm, inviting atmosphere, and the modern, stylish interior immediately invites you to linger. The blend of traditional Persian cuisine and a contemporary ambiance is excellently executed. The service was consistently attentive and friendly. We felt welcome and well looked after – from the friendly reception to the advice on the many creative dishes. Even the appetizers demonstrated how multifaceted Persian cuisine is. The decor combines modern accents with a Persian touch, creating a pleasant, urban flair. Conclusion: For anyone who wants to enjoy authentic Persian cuisine in a pleasant atmosphere – whether meat lovers or vegan fans – Shekamu is a top address. I will definitely be back and highly recommend it! The restrooms were also easily accessible for wheelchair users. Keep up the good work!

The food was delicious, something completely different. The service was very friendly. I'd be happy to come back. My only minor criticism was that, as a tall person, I sat on the bench against the wall; either the table was too low or the bench was too high.

I've been there a few times now with friends. The food is delicious, whether it's salad, vegetarian, or meat. We always like to share what the food is best suited to. We've rarely experienced such friendly staff. I highly recommend it.

Oriental lovers will find a great selection of dishes here, but the taste is where it ends. Several of us went to Shekamu to try Persian food. I liked the vegetarian and vegan options. We ordered drinks and food, although it should be noted that the prices are quite steep. We waited almost an hour and a half for our food, which is the first criticism. As an apology, they offered two small baskets of bread, mint, and onions. While it was a nice gesture, the bread was already cold/warm and a bit small for 8 people. 6 slices for 8 people isn't even one slice per person. When the main courses finally arrived, the disappointment continued. It was quite greasy and oily, and the meat in the meat dishes was very tough. The salad we ordered was awful. The dressing was sweet but also sour; it really wasn't tasty. In total, we paid €230, and for that price, I unfortunately cannot recommend it at all.

From Vienna to Berlin, this is by far the best Persian restaurant in my opinion—every dish is absolutely delicious. We'll be back soon ❤️

I'm very disappointed! I've been wanting to go here for a while, and my girlfriend called the evening before and made a reservation for two at 5 p.m. We arrived on time and were excited. Unfortunately, everything seemed very disorganized, and the employee spent ages looking for the name we had reserved after we arrived (the restaurant isn't that big, and it had been reserved less than 24 hours in advance...). Then we were told to sit outside (it had been raining and it was 15 degrees Celsius). When we asked if we could sit inside, we were told: inside is only for reserved seats?! We said again that we had a reservation, and three employees consulted with each other, looking annoyed. Then we were told that we had a reservation outside, which wasn't true! Nobody on the phone had said that the only places available were outside. Additionally, there were only about four guests there at that time, which was strange that everything was fully booked... Mistakes can happen, but they didn't apologize once, and they tried to shift the blame onto us! We felt completely unwelcome! A very negative experience, which is why we won't be visiting the restaurant and have gone to another one...

We visited Shekamu for the first time today and certainly lived up to the restaurant's name: Shekamu means "greedy" - a very likeable restaurant name that sums it up perfectly. We ate our way through the menu; the descriptions were simply too tempting. And that's exactly how the food tasted: simply fantastically delicious, yet something completely unique. A magic of savory, sometimes slightly spicy, and sweet, as well as oriental flavors. The rest of the team was also young, spoke excellent German, and was very pleasant. The ambiance in the restaurant was cozy and modern at the same time, as was the music. The clientele was very diverse - from Arab (Turkish?) families to Germans, from young to old. We felt very comfortable.
