Hallo zusammen, gestern waren wir mit der Familie im Safran Restaurant in Nürnberg und hatten einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt. Das Essen war sehr lecker, frisch und authentisch zubereitet. Die Auswahl an Speisen war vielfältig und für jeden Geschmack war etwas dabei. Besonders beeindruckt hat uns der freundliche und zuvorkommende Service. Das Personal war sehr höflich, aufmerksam und hat dafür gesorgt, dass wir uns rundum wohlgefühlt haben. Wir können das Safran Restaurant in Nürnberg jedem empfehlen, der gutes Essen und eine angenehme Atmosphäre genießen möchte. Vielen Dank für den tollen Service – wir kommen gerne wieder!

Wir waren heute Abend zum ersten Mal hier und sind wirklich begeistert. Das Essen war lecker. Besonders hervorheben möchten wir auch den freundlichen und herzlichen Service. Der Besitzer kam persönlich an unseren Tisch, hat sich nach unserer Zufriedenheit erkundigt und sich Zeit für ein nettes Gespräch genommen, so etwas erlebt man heutzutage nur noch selten. Man fühlt sich hier wirklich willkommen. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder und können dieses Restaurant nur weiterempfehlen.

Das Essen war absolut köstlich, ich habe alles genossen; das Hähnchen, der Reis, das Eis und der Tee waren einfach fantastisch. Ich habe schon lange nicht mehr so ​​gut gegessen. Alle unsere Wünsche wurden prompt und zuvorkommend erfüllt. Sehr nette und herzliche Inhaber und Mitarbeiter. Die Qualität des Essens war hervorragend. Der Service hätte allerdings etwas aufmerksamer sein können; wir mussten oft selbst aufstehen, um nachzufragen, anstatt gelegentlich gefragt zu werden, ob wir noch etwas benötigen. Es gibt eine gemütliche Sitzecke, wo unser kleines Baby liegen und spielen konnte. Man muss allerdings die Pahlavi-Symbole ignorieren können. Sehr empfehlenswert!

Reservieren zu stornieren ist für dieses Restaurant fremd! Am 4. Mai um 19 Uhr hatte ich einen Tisch für den 10.5 reserviert. Ich wollte am Muttertag meinen Geburtstag und den Geburtstag meiner Mutter feiern. Wir standen vor verschlossener Tür, weil die Herrschaften vom Safram einen kurzen Urlaub bis 13,5 hatten. Ich habe keine Nachricht oder Anruf erhalten, dass die Reservierung storniert wurde. Womöglich war der feine Besitzer ja irgendwo demonstrieren. Neben uns war auch noch ein Ehepaar (mit einem Kleinkind) davon betroffen, die gestern reserviert hatten. Anscheinend wurde der Besitzer in der Nacht vom Shah-Sohn heimgesucht oder dieser Mann ist einfach unmöglich im Umgang mit Gästen!!! Meine Familie und ich waren in der Vergangenheit immer wieder bei Ihnen, aber das passiert nie wieder und ich rate jedem Iraner ab, in Ihr Restaurant zu gehen! Wer so mit Gästen umgeht, ist nicht mal 1 Cent wert! Das Stornieren von Reservierungen ist offenbar ein neues Konzept für dieses Restaurant! Ich hatte am 4. Mai um 19:00 Uhr einen Tisch für den 10. Mai reserviert. Ich wollte meinen Geburtstag nachträglich feiern und meine Mutter zum Muttertag ins Restaurant einladen. Als wir heute ankamen, war die Tür geschlossen, da die Herren vom Restaurant Safram plötzlich bis zum 13. Mai im Urlaub waren. Ich hatte weder eine Nachricht noch einen Anruf erhalten, dass die Reservierung storniert wurde. Der geschätzte Restaurantbesitzer muss wohl irgendwo protestiert haben. Neben uns war auch ein anderes Paar (mit einem kleinen Kind) betroffen, da sie gestern reserviert hatten. Offenbar hatte der Sohn des Schahs letzte Nacht Besuch vom Restaurantbesitzer, oder dieser Mann ist im Umgang mit Gästen wirklich unerträglich! Meine Familie und ich waren schon oft in Ihrem Restaurant, aber so etwas wird nie wieder vorkommen, und ich rate jedem Iraner dringend davon ab, Ihr Restaurant zu besuchen! Jemand, der Gäste so behandelt, ist keinen Cent wert!

War insgesamt ein guter Besuch im Safran. Das Ambiente ist okay, jetzt nichts Besonderes, aber man sitzt ganz angenehm. Das Essen sah richtig gut aus und hat auch größtenteils überzeugt. Die Hähnchenspieße waren echt super, schön saftig und gut gewürzt. Das Fleisch bei anderen Gerichten war bei uns leider ein bisschen trocken, das war der einzige kleine Minuspunkt. Bei der Grillplatte hätte ich mir außerdem gewünscht, dass sie etwas lebhafter angerichtet ist, da ist noch ein bisschen Luft nach oben. Der Service war freundlich und aufmerksam. Alles in allem ein solides Restaurant, ich würde wiederkommen

Ich kann gar nicht beschreiben, wie fantastisch das Essen und der Service waren. Meine Frau und ich waren an einem Sonntag da, als es etwas ruhiger zuging. Trotzdem bekamen wir unser Essen unglaublich schnell! Und das Essen war einfach perfekt. Insgesamt: 11 von 10 Punkten.

Alles in allem war es ein wunderschöner Abend, den wir im Safran Restaurant verbracht haben mit gutem Essen und Ambiente. Nur zu empfehlen.

Wir waren zu dritt im Safran Restaurant und hatten eine Vorspeisenplatte sowie die große Grillplatte für drei Personen. Dazu ein persisches Joghurtgetränk und zum Abschluss ein Tee. Alles war hervorragend: Der Reis perfekt, das Fleisch perfekt gewürzt und frisch, die Getränke sehr gut. Man merkt sofort, dass hier mit Herz gekocht wird. Sehr freundliche Bedienung, ruhige Atmosphäre und ein schönes Ambiente. Klare Empfehlung – wir kommen sehr gerne wieder. Vielen Dank für die tolle Gastfreundschaft!

Schönes Restaurant, toller Service und leckeres Essen

Ich musste über 15 Minuten warten, ohne überhaupt eine Getränkebestellung aufgeben zu können. Trotz mehrmaligem Rufen wurde ich vom Kellner komplett ignoriert. So etwas habe ich selten erlebt. Ich weiß nicht, woran es lag – aber dieses Verhalten war absolut unprofessionell. Die Wartezeit war viel zu lang und der Service sehr enttäuschend. Zudem hatte ich den Eindruck, dass hygienisch nicht sauber gearbeitet wurde. Es wurde ohne Handschuhe gearbeitet und zwischendurch verschiedene Dinge angefasst, was keinen guten Eindruck hinterlassen hat. Für mich leider nicht zu empfehlen.

Behtarin ghaza, kheily ba keyfiat , Fekr nemikardam ke enghdre mitone ba keyfiat bashe! Das Essen war fantastisch, ich war total begeistert! Sehr gute Qualität und lecker, gar nicht so fettig! Sehr nett und hilfsbereit.

Als Perser sind wir sehr wählerisch, was unser Essen angeht, besonders Kebab, und dieses Restaurant hat uns wirklich beeindruckt. Wir bestellten Koobideh, Bargh und Djoodje, und alles war einfach köstlich. Das Koobideh war saftig und perfekt gewürzt, das Bargh unglaublich zart und das Djoodje aromatisch und wunderbar gegrillt. Der Reis war locker und perfekt karamellisiert, und alles schmeckte authentisch und mit viel Liebe zubereitet. Ehrlich gesagt, es war das beste persische Essen, das wir seit Langem gegessen haben. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder!

Wir haben hier verschiedene Gerichte probiert, Kobideh war das beste, das restliche Grillfleisch war größtenteils fettig. Insgesamt war der Besuch positiv.

Ich und meine Freundin hatten eine Grillplatte mit Reis, der Reis war ungesalzen, das Lamm riechte streng, und Kabab leider keine Gewürze. Leider werden wir nicht mehr kommen.

Herr Farzam und seine Frau führen das Lokal mit spürbarer Leidenschaft und kümmern sich persönlich um ihre Gäste und man fühlt sich sofort willkommen. Gerade an kalten Wintertagen ist das Essen hier ein Genuss: aromatisch, wohltuend und mit viel Liebe gekocht. Die Atmosphäre ist warm, familiär und lädt zum Verweilen ein. Aufgrund der vielen positiven Bewertungen hatte ich mir dieses Lokal als Geburtstagsessen für meine Freundin ausgesucht, es war so enttäuschend. Das Essen war geschmacklich bis auf die Vorspeise untypisch für die persische Küche es schmeckte sehr sauer bei der einen Speise und die andere schmeckte nur ungewürzt. Der Service war ab dem Essen nicht mehr vorhanden, wir wurden vollkommen ignoriert, obwohl wir die einzigen Gäste waren. Das Wechselgeld wurde auch nicht freiwillig zurück gebracht. Nie wieder!!!!

Leider sehr enttäuschend. Das Essen hatte kaum Geschmack, der Reis war fad und ohne Soße und hatte nichts mit Safranreis zu tun. Die Preise 24–26 € pro Gericht) sind dafür völlig überzogen. Auf der Karte stand „persisches Brot“, bekommen haben wir arabisches Fladenbrot dafür noch 1,50 € extra zu verlangen ist irreführend. Für diese Qualität lohnt sich der Besuch leider überhaupt nicht.

Wir waren heute bei Safran zuerst muss ich sagen ist dieser Laden wirklich sehr sauber und schön eingerichtet. Wir hatten einen Vorspeisenteller und zwei Teller mit Fleischgerichte. Es war aufjedenfall so lecker und die Inhaber sind auch Mega freundlich! Wir kommen aufjedenfall wieder.

Absolut furchtbar. Das Essen hat nichts mit persischer Küche zu tun, das Fleisch ist das billigste überhaupt, und das Safrangetränk kostet um die 7 Euro und enthält Sirup statt Safran. Ich werde dieses Restaurant nie wieder besuchen.

Das Essen war sehr gut, das Personal nett und freundlich, der Service ausgezeichnet. Negativ fielen die sehr alten, muffigen und schmutzigen Toiletten auf. Empfehlung an den Inhaber: Eine Renovierung des Badezimmers und regelmäßige Reinigung der Toiletten wären ratsam.

Bedienung und Betreiber sehr freundlich! Das Essen ist wie immer sehr lecker. Persisches Essen ist einfach eines der besten auf der Welt! Hier kann man sehr gut die beliebtesten Gerichte testen. Ich war oft hier und komme immer gerne vorbei. Freunde waren auch immer begeistert bisher. Kann ich sehr empfehlen.

Best Iranian restaurant in the town, a must try

We stopped here on the way back to our hotel with our baby asleep and asked for some food to go. They prepared it really quickly, and the owner took the time to chat with us—he honestly made us feel at home and even made me forget how tired I was. Such a kind gesture that really brightened up our evening. The food was absolutely delicious, generous portions, and even the salad was amazing. A wonderful surprise and highly recommended!

The Kubideh kebab was good. However, the Joojeh kebab had small skewers and the portion of rice was small. The proportion of meat and rice was small compared to the price. The prices for the dishes were quite high, especially considering that in other Iranian restaurants—at least in Berlin—kebabs are always served with herbs or salad, which wasn't the case here. The appetizer platter here consisted of only three types of yogurt and pickled vegetables, while a starter should have been more varied, with, for example, Keshk-e-Bademjan, Mirza Ghasemi, or hummus. The restaurant owner came to our table while we were eating and praised his own food at great length. This bothered us. However, we would have preferred to eat in peace so the food wouldn't get cold. Besides, I think the guests should be the ones praising the food—not the chef or the restaurant owner themselves.

The best Iranian restaurant in Bavaria that I went to was the Saffron Restaurant, with incredibly delicious food and a very friendly and warm atmosphere. After a few years, I really thought I was in Iran. I would like to thank everyone who works at this restaurant and thank you.

Disappointing experience – once and never again There were six of us and we wanted to try Persian cuisine at the Safaran Restaurant. The service was friendly, but that was unfortunately the only positive aspect of our visit. The food was served lukewarm to cold – the meat in particular was well below room temperature. The appetizer consisted only of yogurt with garlic and bread that appeared to have come from an Arab supermarket and arrived straight from the plastic bag – not even fresh or warmed up. What was particularly irritating was that even the butter served on the rice didn't melt – a clear sign that the food was too cold. Overall, the quality, freshness, and care in the preparation were lacking. Unfortunately, this was our first and last visit to this restaurant.

We were a small international group there, and the owner sat on the next table with a couple of friends of his, discussing and arguing very loudly about politics. We got our meals more than 30 minutes after our order. The owner came to our table and stood there for a long time, trying to welcome us, but it turned to asking personal questions and giving us history and political lectures. Although the food was good, the experience was awful, and the price was very high compared to similar restaurants, 38€ per person.

An absolute disaster – never again! Anyone who thinks they'll receive a friendly welcome here will quickly be disappointed. The manager laughs the whole time – but her smile is so fake, fake, and condescending that it's downright uncomfortable. Politeness doesn't mean putting on a fake grin while treating customers with subtle arrogance. The fact that card payments aren't accepted in this store is just another sign of complete backwardness and a lack of professionalism. Still accepting cash payments in 2025 isn't charming, but embarrassing and customer-unfriendly. And then there's the issue of cleanliness: dust, cobwebs, a generally dingy impression – there's no question of hygiene here. The products also seem anything but fresh. Anyone who claims that fresh produce is purchased daily is probably trying to deceive rather than convince. For the prices charged here, the whole thing is a bad joke. Conclusion: If you value quality, cleanliness, genuine service, and modern standards, you should steer clear of this store.

I was absolutely thrilled with my visit to this restaurant. You receive a warm welcome as soon as you enter – the service was consistently friendly, attentive, and professional. The food was simply outstanding: The meat was super tender and grilled to perfection, the side dishes fresh and very aromatic. I particularly want to highlight the rice with saffron and barberries, which not only looked fantastic but also tasted amazing. The fresh salad with homemade dressing was also a real highlight. Another plus: The homemade drinks – a definite 10/10! Refreshing, perfectly matched, and definitely something special. In conclusion: If you're looking for good food, excellent service, and a pleasant atmosphere, this is the place for you. I'll definitely be back!

There were five of us there. We ordered three different dishes: two kubideh, two makhsos, and one barg. The owner is very friendly and nice. He greets each customer personally. Just like you'd expect from Iran. The food was fantastic. I'm a kubideh eater. If someone can make kubideh, they can make anything. The meat was super juicy and delicious. Safran Iranian Restaurant in Nuremberg Service for large groups was poor; there was a very long wait for the food to be ready. The space is small. The dining room is beautifully decorated with Iranian elements. The kebab kubideh was bitter. The sultan-style lamb had a tough texture. The sumac was inedible. The soup was good. The drinks were really cool and enjoyable.

Everything was delicious and freshly prepared. The food was excellent, as were the drinks, which complemented it wonderfully. I would also like to particularly highlight the staff: everyone was very polite, attentive, and friendly. An all-around successful experience – I'd love to come back!

I tried many Iranian restaurants, this one is definitely the best of all. The food was perfect. I recommend the ice cream for dessert and Ash Reshteh for starter. The owner treated us like he knew us for life. We enjoyed chatting with him. I will definitely come back again

The best Persian restaurant in Nürnberg

Unfortunately it was freezing cold in the restaurant the whole time. Apparently the heating stays off here even in February. All three of the dishes from the menu that we wanted to order were not available. Only the most expensive dishes on the menu were available. The service was friendly and quick, but the quality of the meat wasn't great, the Yufka bread was old and dry and I looked in vain for the saffron in the rice. The meat and rice were also a bit dry, with no sauce at all, although Persian cuisine is said to be famous for its sauces. For €80 for dinner for two people with only two drinks, I would have expected a lot more. Unfortunately I was very disappointed and will not visit Safran again.

Beware They don't accept credit cards

Today I ordered food to pick up from Safran for the first time with friends. During our last visit there was a perfectly tender chicken skewer kebab (number 18), so we thought we would order it again. Since some of us were more hungry, we sometimes ordered 2 skewers instead of 1. After 45 minutes we were able to come and pick up the food. We were asked to pay 125 EURO on site. When I asked if the price was right, the owner said in an arrogant way, "It's not a standard skewer like in a Turkish restaurant, an extra skewer costs 15 euros." After a while (discussion), the owner started zipping things into his calculator. He then said in a cheeky way and knew that he would calculate the portion of rice and that would determine the price. According to my calculation it should look like this: 5x €16.90 (chicken kebab plate) = €84.50 2x €16.90 (chicken kebab plate) - €4.20 (saffron rice) = €25.40 Final price €109.90 As if it wasn't too much to ask for 15 euros per skewer, he also collected 15 euros more. Impudence! Ultimately, you should be careful because the owner is trying to rip off customers. Never again!!!

Very tasty food, have rarely eaten such good and tender meat. The staff and the boss are very warm and friendly. This restaurant is definitely worth a visit, 100% recommended.
