I found this place looking for Shawarma during my visit to Duisburg. Food looked delicious and was delicious. Atmosphere was great, with lots of people speaking arabic, which is usually is a great sign if you are looking for Shawarma. But service was awful! No menu, I had to grab it myself. No order taking, after friendly asking 2-3 times, giving my payment and not getting change back and the cashier taken care of 3 different customers that arrived to the cashier after me, and then not giving my change and being annoyed when I asked for it, then waiting over 20 minutes for a simple shawarma, and seeing table after table getting food before me. Made me feel like I was not welcome there and I had to force them to serve me… it was so bad that other customers that I had a conversation with came back to share their sympathy. Felt so bad!

Taste of the Shawrima was literally only hot sauce, no meat taste. Crispy sandwich was so messy since its bread was old and crumbly! They have used a type of music u think your in a night club or something, totally not related to a restaurant to have a quiet meal. Tables were oily and not cleaned well, forks and a tissue rolled over them were just put on table.

I can confidently assure you that this is the best Syrian food in Germany, and I hope this will continue to be the case. I personally like to take food to go, so I can’t talk about the atmosphere, the employees work very well. I highly recommend it.
