Das Essen war fantastisch. Es tat uns zwar leid, dass wir nicht aus der Region kamen, aber wir brauchten einfach mal etwas anderes. Es war großartig und etwas ganz Besonderes.

Ein nettes Lokal, aber ich bestellte ein Gericht mit Garnelen, Rindfleisch und Jakobsmuscheln – es gab zwei kleine Rindfleischscheiben, zwei Garnelen und nur eine Jakobsmuschel. Bei einem Preis von 27 € hätte ich etwas mehr Fleisch erwartet. Seid also gewarnt!

Ein kleines, etwas verstecktes Restaurant mit "Wohlfühlcharakter". Der Service war sehr freundlich, aufmerksam- da kann man nichts finden. Das Essen hat uns auch gut geschmeckt, wobei wir die Portionen der Hauptspeisen doch etwas empfanden ... Wir schauen aber bestimmt mal wieder vorbei

Leider eine sehr enttäuschende Erfahrung. Das Essen ließ stark zu wünschen übrig – die Pho war viel zu salzig und hat gar nicht geschmeckt. Der absolute Tiefpunkt war jedoch das Verhalten des Kellners. Die Bedienung war extrem unhöflich. Weil wir aufgrund des schlechten Essens und Services kein Trinkgeld hinterlassen haben, wurde der Kellner aggressiv, knallte Gegenstände auf unseren Tisch und starrte uns feindselig an. Absolut unprofessionell. Ich werde definitiv nicht wiederkommen.

Das Essen war sehr lecker und hat nicht lang auf sich warten lassen, der Service war freundlich und gut. Es gibt ausreichend Platz allerdings würde ich empfehlen vorher zu reservieren. Die Reservierung erfolgt problemlos über die Website. Restaurant kann ich auf alle Fälle empfehlen.

Köstliches Essen! Die Pho Xao war eine der besten, die ich je gegessen habe. Absolut empfehlenswert! Eine Reservierung ist unbedingt erforderlich, da es am Wochenende oft sehr voll wird. Wir kommen wieder!

Das Essen ist okay. Die Cocktails sind ziemlich schlecht. Ich hatte einen Whiskey Sour, der war vorgemischt und hat furchtbar geschmeckt.

Das Essen ist eine 10/10 aber das Ambiente ist echt schrecklich. Entweder man sitzt hinten in einem Cafeteria/Mesa ähnlichem Bereich mit Musik in voller Lautstärke und Scheinwerfern im Gesicht oder am Eingang (wo es etwas ruhiger aber ungemütlich ist).

Nettes Ambiente und sehr gutes Essen, aber: für den insgesamt recht hohen Preis waren wir nach dem Essen leider nicht wirklich satt geworden - qualitativ aber sehr lecker. Drinks schön gemacht, Mojito hat mir super geschmeckt, das zweite Getränk war leider nicht mein Geschmack - ist aber nicht eure Schuld. Der Service war weder unfreundlich noch freundlich - ich will nicht sagen lustlos.

Am unteren Ende von 4 Sternen. Faire Preise, für München, aber kein Ort, der mein Stammlokal werden könnte. Dafür fehlt irgendwie der Spark, der Soundtrack und je ne sais qoui.

Ich bestellte Hähnchen mit Gemüse aus dem Wok. Das Hähnchen war komplett kalt (in einem warmen Gericht) und schmeckte alt.

Ein tolles Restaurant! Das Essen war superlecker und wurde sehr schnell serviert. Die Preise waren (für die Region) angemessen. Allerdings sollte man beachten, dass die Rindfleischportion recht klein ist. Das Personal war außerdem sehr freundlich.

Essen und Service ist im Shami wirklich top! Den einzigen kleinen Minuspunkt gibt es für die Lautstärke im hinteren Raum.

Sehr leckeres Essen. Die Pho Bo war lecker aber die Brühe hab ich schon besser gegessen. Das Suppen Fleisch war mariniert, dass dadurch einen außergewöhnlichen Geschmack bekommen hat. Ich würde empfehlen die roten Zwiebel zu entfernen und stattdessen Kräuter wie Thai Basilikum, Koriander und Minze dazu zu legen, sodass es jeder selbst noch nachwürzen kann. Außerdem sieht es dann besser aus.

Really impressed with the effort made on the dishes. Duck was super crispy, beef gyoza was really flavourful. I love how the peanut sauce wasn't too overpowered. Definitely worth a visit again!

Poor service and unhelpful staff. I have book the table for Christmas via email and they show me no booking in their system. I shown my email which confirmed the date and time. Staffs didn't show any passion to listen my situation and refuse to help. Very disappointed service and not recommended to go.

A very cozy restaurant. It was quite busy. Since we hadn't made a reservation and the restaurant was fully booked on Friday evening, we were offered a seat at the bar. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We didn't have to wait long for the delicious and beautifully presented food. We highly recommend this restaurant. We'll definitely be back when we're in town again.

The food was okay, the plates looked a bit unhygienic, and the service was very inattentive. Finally, when I paid by credit card, I was very rudely told that I absolutely had to leave a tip – even though my table neighbor had already taken care of it. The waiter himself entered something, and I ended up with over €6 more on the bill! I've never experienced such rudeness!

A popular Vietnamese restaurant in Schwabing. The ambiance is quite nice, with simple manga/graffiti on the wall. It's very loud, and the tables are extremely close together. The napkins are cloth, the dishes are nice, but there are no tablecloths. The service is extremely slow and overwhelmed, with hardly any German skills, but they are friendly. There are long waiting times (20 minutes for the appetizer, 25 minutes for the main course, and 30 minutes for the main course). The menu is standard (Vietnamese, traditional), and the presentation is nice and modern. In terms of taste and quality, it was on par with fast food. The vegetables and salad were stale, and the food was prepared without any, let alone refined, seasoning—simply greasy, too sweet, and too salty. The prawn crackers were greasy and cold, as well as soft and chewy; I've never eaten such bad prawn crackers. The papaya salad was tasteless, dressed very carelessly, and the shrimp were of very cheap quality. The curries also had inferior meat, and the fish was dry. Cola in 0.2-liter bottles, €4.50. Food portions were also very small. Overall, the prices were far too high for what was offered. A real disappointment.

Ausgezeichnetes Essen zu einem wirklich moderaten Preis. Es war ziemlich voll, von daher hat es mit dem Service immer etwas gedauert, die Kellner waren aber sehr bemüht und freundlich. Absolute Empfehlung, auch wenn für uns die Musik etwas leiser hätte sein können. Das hat aber das Gesamterlebnis nicht getrübt, wir kommen gerne wieder.

I love this place!!!! Every time we come here it's a great choice.

It used to be so much better – now it's disappointing. Today we had dry spring rolls, a sour Pad Thai that was advertised as a "signature dish," and a red curry with duck where you practically had to hunt for the vegetables. And all this for €23 for the curry! I used to go to Shami, and it was always more upscale, but the quality and service are absolutely no longer commensurate with the price. Even when they asked if everything was alright while clearing the table, and I even mentioned twice that it used to be better, they just smiled and thanked me. I used to love going there, but now Shami is sadly going downhill. That was my last time there. Oh, and I can only attribute the many good reviews to that little note at checkout: "Rate us and we'll give away a €100 voucher once a quarter."

We were craving some Vietnamese food, especially, a speciality of crispy duck in a red curry sauce with vegetables. We got a reservation at the last minute but as it was Oktoberfest and a Saturday we felt very lucky. We were not disappointed. The duck was terrific but could have been spicer or had a little more kick for me. The Germans by large do not eat really spicy food and so in the ethic restaurants the owners tend to weaken its heat or spice kick to please their audience.

A very good restaurant with many different dishes. The chicken is excellent, and the beef is also very good. All accompanied by excellent sauces. First time in a Vietnamese restaurant, and a good choice.

The food was exquisite! I was there yesterday and unfortunately had an experience I wouldn't wish on anyone. Due to a lack of regular maintenance on the bathroom doors, I was locked in for 45 minutes! And there was no window... The staff managed to break the lock, and I got out. I was nervous after the half hour of being locked in! After the commotion!! We decided to stay for dinner. The restaurant only offered us a complimentary dessert... When we asked for the bill, we were shocked by the lack of empathy for the trauma and stress it had caused me! I mean, no discount at all! In the end, they charged us 10 euros less and then asked for a tip? Truly pathetic!!

Nice restaurant with delicious food, but unfortunately, I wouldn't go back. The place is packed to the last corner, with tables crammed to the last corner, and it's also quite busy, so the noise level is very high, and you have to talk to each other really loudly. The prices are unfortunately simply too high for such an average experience. The service was also inattentive at times; they wanted to clear my food even though I wasn't finished, and then they were a bit pushy towards the end. So, ⭐️⭐️⭐️-⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We celebrated our anniversary here yesterday because it's my girlfriend's favorite restaurant. The service was 10/10; the staff accommodated all our reservation requests and were very friendly. The food was good; there was nothing to complain about. The only minor criticism: the tables are a bit close together, but probably not a problem for extroverts. The location is perfect: There's parking everywhere and plenty of parking garages nearby.

I like to order takeout; it's quite loud on site, and the music inside is a bit too loud for my taste in the evenings. Prices are relatively expensive, but the dishes are very tasty. We both thought it was OK. Got a lot of duck but little rice and little sauce, all quite tasteless. It was expensive for that. €20-23 per dish. Cocktails were very tasty. And you sit between a lot of people without a “big” distance.

Super delicious food! Diverse and fresh. I had the wok vegetables with tofu and the vegetarian dumplings. Both super tasty and very filling. The cocktails are also great. We felt very comfortable and had a great time. We'll definitely come back.

Friendly service. Restaurant very crowded and therefore unfortunately very loud. The chicken must have been treated with meat tenderizer or something, it tasted more like sausage (both in the dumplings and in the main course). The taste is therefore disappointing… I probably won't come again.
