Likes to double-charge the bill or take more than the order. Beer mats are often collected under the bar so the customer can't see them. As a group, he tries to charge multiple times from friends who have already left. Likes to get very loud and shout – once, twice, never!

Extremely unfriendly and they want money for something that has already been paid for.

I was at the Bernemer Kerb today and sat down with my two-year-old daughter and my mother-in-law at a free seat at a beer table in front of the restaurant. I had a glass of wine from the wine stand next door, and my daughter had fries. Anyone familiar with the Bernemer Kerb knows that it's quite common to sit at other restaurants' tables, even with unfamiliar food and drinks. After a few moments, a man (presumably the owner) came to our table and loudly cursed us, saying we weren't allowed to sit there. We immediately showed understanding, tried to apologize, put my daughter back in the stroller, stood up, and walked away from the tables, making it clear that we respected the fact that we weren't welcome. But as we were about to leave, the man came after us and cursed us with clear aggression in his voice, making threatening gestures as if he were about to resort to physical violence. I truly respect that he doesn't want people sitting outside his restaurant, even at a festival like Bernemer Wednesday. But potential customers, especially when they're two women with a small child, should be treated with less aggression.

The lasagna is inedible and the cheese on it tastes like it's already gone bad.

This place is a joke. Always empty, the staff doesn't even have the manners to say hello, and 20 minutes before closing time there's no food left even though the place has an "Open" sign on the door. Two weeks ago I tried ordering online and they happily took my money, but even after closing time, I still hadn't received my food. Avoid this place! It's nothing but a rip-off and terrible service.

It appears to be run by the same Indian snack bar as "New Deli," as both have the same menu design. The diversity doesn't necessarily speak volumes for either establishment in this case. The pricing is also identical, but the quality of the food doesn't keep pace. The vegetarian fried egg noodles with seasonal vegetables (nothing but carrots, carrots, carrots, or whatever you want to call the orange vegetables!) were bland, oily, and absolutely disappointing. Even the low price of €3.50 doesn't make up for it. You won't exactly be completely full afterward, either. (As of May 2016)

Let me tell you this: this is a tiny migrant cafe for takeaway or in-person coffee and maybe a quick drink for the road. There's a bus station across the street, and while you're waiting for your bus, a guy who doesn't understand English will make you a surprisingly decent cup of coffee for 2 euros, considering the price. Seriously, I know a ton of places where you'll get slop for much more, but this tiny place has more than decent coffee. And it's cheap. You can also ask for a little ground ginger in your coffee, and it won't be stale, it'll be quite fresh, and it's a real blood-warmer in winter. A trip to the toilet costs 1 euro, and it's a clean, warm one. Overall, it's a small migrant place with a corresponding clientele, if you know what I mean, but it's definitely worth a cup of coffee. If you have a layover in Frankfurt and want a coffee, don't hesitate.

I bought this vegetable bread without much expectation. I was surprised and delighted. Yes, it's pricey, but that's typical of any airport. I have to say the bread was very good, although the hot chocolate wasn't quite hot enough.
