Friendly, good food, highly recommended!

One of my favorite places in Freiburg. Food is delicious, great location, Friendly people and reasonable prices. I ordered the shawerma teller with Ayran is a drink. Very taste, big portions and paid only 13euros. Highly recommended and I will stop by again!

The Yufka is not recommended at all! Hardly any salad in it and consists only of dough and the selected filling (halloumi, falafel, ...). For the price, which is high even in Freiburg, there are much better ones in the area .

Best vegan Syrian food! Fresh ingredients and creative dishes. The vegan chicken was amazing! Absolute recommendation!

Unfortunately, the grilled vegetables are incredibly full of fat, the broccoli is still hard, and the pepper pieces are cut too finely for my taste. In the vegan mix plate, the seitan is unfortunately very tough and dry, as is the fallaffle. I thought it tasted okay

Very tasty food in a cozy atmosphere on a quiet side street. The dishes were prepared quickly and beautifully presented. Self service and there was a good selection of drinks.

Unfortunately an absolute disappointment. Ordered the crispy vegan and spicy vegan. Consistency can only be described as a gas station sandwich. Both the smell and taste are reminiscent of McDonald's quality with even less seasoning. Not worth 2€, let alone 9. Obviously this can't be the standard that other reviews here write about. It seems like a takeover/change of ownership and it is based on positive historical reviews. Sesame close

Wow! What I got was not edible and I see many great reviews on here, but my experience with the food was terrible. The people there were very friendly and nice and told me the crispy chicken was the best. 9 euros for bread and pickle and some lettuce I think they forgot the chicken cause there was one thin tiny tiny piece of chicken in a huge bun I ate the bite with the chicken and had to get rid of the rest. Total of 3 bites then nothing but bread . Super disappointing and feels so terrible to just throw away money like that. If it’s a chicken sandwich and you charge 9 euros please fill the sandwich. I’ve never seen that before:

Small street food place with a distinct menu that has all tastes covered. Wife enjoyed a halloumi platter with bulgur and a cornucopia of veggies and greens. My choice was chicken "fajita" which was not exactly a fajita but rather a sub with flavorful mix of meat and other mysteries. The food hit all the right spots and the side street the restaurant is located was a perfect place for the meal.

Ordered takeaway with Lieferando and also paid via Lieferando. The app told me: “Food ready for pickup at 12:30.” When I was there at 12:30, no one there knew anything about my order. Should have waited until the food was ready. Unfortunately I didn't have time for that and had to leave without eating. Paid but didn't receive any food ~ 14€ wasted and a lot of trouble…

Great food and nice staff. I had the shawarma plate and it tasted very good. You can't beat the price-performance ratio 👍

To be honest, it's a shame because as an Arab I would like to push them, the shouting behind the counter and the 3/4 empty sesame bread unfortunately caused me to do anti-advertising.

Absolute world class! Rarely have I eaten such good food. Everything is prepared fresh and quickly. The food is extremely tasty and has a great price/performance ratio. The staff is super nice and polite. You can sit both inside and outside and there are enough seats. The location is very central and easily accessible.

Very tasty, especially the vegan options and great alternative to döner ;) unfortunately no extra lunch offers and sometimes very long waiting times until the food is served.

Super good falafel! Very fair, sufficient portion for €7. I'm not used to that anymore. Extremely delicious. Go there :)

Super tastefully decorated restaurant. The chairs and benches not only look good, you won't want to get up, they're so comfortable. The salad on my plate was very carelessly prepared, i.e. some of the leaves were wilted and the dressing was horrible. I am against food waste, so the salad should be more than garnished (-1 star). But the rest of the plate tasted wonderful and was very filling. Gladly again!

Syrian food adapted to Central European tastes. Lots of vegetarian and vegan options on offer. It's best to ask the people behind the counter and get advice.

Unfortunately the food is very bland, not seasoned and dry. But it could be tasty. Fries and falafel were good.

Started really well and slowed down a lot... The salad was a very small portion and there was no sauce, hummus or chickpeas. “With feta/goat cheese” - which were three small crumbs and overpriced at €7.90.

So I expected more based on the reviews and pictures. First of all, one side dish was simply forgotten for each individual order, then when I asked, my side dish was apparently no longer available. This should be mentioned beforehand when ordering. No replacement was offered. Staff seemed a bit confused. The food was relatively boring. A haloumi plate with bulgur that didn't taste like anything and a little salad that wasn't dressed either. The door was open the whole time, it was pretty cold. Unfortunately there is no reason for me to come back again.

Sehr schön eingerichtet, sieht auch von außen toll aus. Sehr freundlich, sehr lecker und schnell, dazu auch ne tolle Auswahl an veganen und vegetarischen Gerichten, einfach perfekt 🥰

Essen lecker, frische Zutaten, gute Vegane Gerichte. Habe über Lieferando bestellt. Essen war pünktlich da. Allerdings hat eine Bestellung nicht gepasst, die Reklamation wurde sehr höflich entgegengenommen und schnell in Ordnung gebracht.

This place was NEVER short of absolutely amazing. As a student, it’s a great way to get a big healthy meal in for relatively cheap. I get the shawarma teller with chicken, and it’s 10/10 literally every time. The fries are always top tier, and the presentation on the plate is gorgeous. Their falafel and hummus is also excellent. I’m sure their entire menus is delicious. All the staff are extremely nice, and get your food out in a good pace. One thing I particularly like, is they don’t have döner meat off that stick, they actually cook or fry the chicken fresh!

Der Rinderschawarma ist wirklich fantastisch - ein absolutes Highlight. Man bekommt als Student oder Schüler 1€-Rabatt auf alle Gerichte. Obwohl das Crispy Chicken besser präsentiert werden könnte, schmeckt es dennoch köstlich. Das Restaurant ist echt schön eingerichtet und das Personal ist echt nett.

Das Essen ist immer so lecker 😋😋mir fällt die Auswahl immer so schwer das Personal und der Chef sind Super nett 😊😊

Super leckeres Essen, nettes Personal, super netter Chef, den Sharwama Teller kann ich nur jedem ans Herz legen ein Traum, nur zu Empfehlen dort zu essen.

Unglaublich Lecker. Die Anlaufstelle für alle, ob Vegan, Vegetarisch oder vilt. doch etwas mit Fleisch. Durch die neuen Räumlichkeiten auch sehr schön um mit größeren Gruppen zu reservieren und vorbei zu schauen. Haben mittlerweile auf Anfragen sogar auch ein „Catering“ einfach Klasse und nur weiter zu empfehlen. Ich liebe einfach die herzliche Art mit der du direkt aufgenommen wirst und auf jeden Wunsch eingegangen wird. Das Essen war bisher immer anstandslos sehr lecker und frisch.

Ich komme immer gerne her. Super netter Chef und sehr nettes Personal und das essen ist immer frisch und super lecker zubereitet. Auf individuelle Kundenwünsche werden auch immer zuvorkommend eingegangen. Immer meine erste Anlaufstelle wenn ich in Freiburg bin! Ist auf jedenfall einen Besuch wert!!!

Einfach top - sehr sehr lecker. Richtig nette Leute dort. Wir waren nicht das letzte Mal dort, um feine syrische Spezialitäten zu probieren.

Ich sitze grade hier und habe mir ein Teller bestellt mit Bulgur und Fleisch ich habe grade eine Geschmacks Explosion nur zum weiter empfehlen

They have a lot of vegan and veggie options, good service. Got the crispy chicken, but I was unimpressed. Bread was of the crumbly subway type, lettuce not particularly tasty, and crispy vegan meat cold. I mean I stood right there and grabbed it directly from the counter; it should have been warm. Healthy I guess, but nothing to write home about.

Um die teils sehr guten Bewertungen, die mich hierher gebracht haben, zu relativieren, erzähle ich kurz von unserem Besuch im "Sesam...". Mein Crispy vegan Teller war alles nur nicht crispy. Die veganen Bestandteile waren undefinierbar und eben gummiweich. 2cm dicke Zwiebelringe machten es nicht besser. Bulgur bestellt, leicht versalzene Pommes bekommen. Das Brot zum Hummusteller (okay) meines Freundes nicht frisch. Auf meinen entsprechenden Hinweis kam eine hilflose Entschuldigung...

Früher in den Westarkaden. Jetzt in der Innenstadt. Super Laden (damals und auch jetzt noch). Crispy chicken und Köfte sind mein Favorit.

Great place, great food and GREAT STAFF! The only annoying thing was the metal steps to the entrance of the entrance, everything anybody went in or came out and stepped on the bottom step, the metal mad an extremely loud clicking noise.

Falaffelteller 🔝 💚 sehr lecker mit 12 € allerdings etwas teuer , Sucuc Seele war auch super mit Granatapfelkernen Minze🌿 Rucola und Zitrone 🍋 mal was anderes 👌

Ich hatte crispy vegan und war enttäuscht. Die Soja-Nugget waren gut, aber sonst waren nur ein paar Salatblätter, saure Gurke, Soße und paar Pommes im Brötchen. Für den Preis wenig Kreativität.

Absolutely delicious food! Their veggie/vegan dishes are imaginative and full of flavor. Their fried chicken is the best in the city. The owner is super friendly and really put his heart into this place.

Sehr leckeres, frisches Essen. Viele vegane Gerichte, sehr netter Service.
