It's actually nice, but the McDonald's isn't OK! This is our third and last time eating there, and the fries were always cold, even though we were practically the only ones there! Also, there are rats running around outside! They're always there! Unfortunately! 😞

Warning: total rip-off! Outrageous prices, poor service, and disappointing quality. This place clearly takes advantage of travelers with no nearby alternatives. Price increases of up to 200% are hard to justify and feel like exploitation, not economics. For families, commuters, or vacationers—this stop is frustrating and should be avoided if possible. Better to plan ahead and stop elsewhere.

The rest stop is rated here, not the gas station! Very friendly staff. Clear rest area. Clean and tidy. Toilets for a fee of 50 cents, there is a voucher for this, fine in the basement.

The toilets are super clean for a pee break and the coffee tastes better here than at some other rest stops

Unfortunately most of it will be closed from 2030... or even before that :-(

Everything here closes quite early and alcohol is no longer sold in the evenings. Complicated routing and layout.

Price/performance ratio is not right

04/17/25 12:00 p.m. on the way to the Easter holiday, completely relaxed and wanting a coffee, we meet very unfriendly staff at the checkout! (because the toilet receipt didn't work!) We were bullied, according to the motto that it's not your problem, just ours! The blonde saleswoman became very loud and rude. Never again! We got coffee at Burger King. Happy Easter!

The place clearly needs renovation. Burger King is typical, but the other restaurants are definitely hopeless.

(towards Stuttgart) Unfortunately I can't judge how clean the toilets are, I can't say a word about the staff, I could only see the diversity through the window, because as many people have already mentioned, the rest stop was closed at 9 p.m. on Saturday evening. No notice or anything else, just the chain at the bottom of the door was the explanation as to why we were now allowed to continue driving. Staffing is scarce everywhere, but a sign put up would definitely have been good to save on parking, getting dressed, getting ready, putting on a jacket, etc

For a rest stop, this is decent. No surprises, fairly well maintained. Clean enough.

It was open from 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m., and in the evening before 9:00 p.m. you couldn't even go to the toilet. This morning 6:15 still closed. Total rock bottom 👎👎👎

Large and spacious parking lot that is well lit. Toilet costs 1 💶, shower costs 3 💶. The toilet is clean. The shower is clean and has hot water. Special thanks to the nice cashier! Very polite and friendly woman.

The fact that we truck drivers are often forced to pay the overpriced prices at rest stops is shamelessly exploited here! A meatball with bun and mustard usually costs €4.29-€4.59, which is already expensive enough! At Wunnenstein you charge €5.79 for it, with the argument: you've been to the toilet, so it only costs €4.79. Honestly? The state should intervene here and close such rest areas directly. BUT NO! It is better to subsidize the rip-off clubs Tank and Rast and Sanifair

Ideal for taking a break on larger or longer trips. Due to the high prices, you should only get something there (eat, drink, etc.) in an extreme emergency.

At 20 pm on 02/05/25, employees informed that the shower was closed for today, come back at 6 am the next day. At 6 am on 02/06/2025 the establishment is closed. Thank you for your services 🫡🫡

Small, clear rest area with a good selection and clean toilets

A rest stop in a somewhat old-fashioned style, which also makes it authentic and beautiful. The prices are - as usual for rest stops - expensive! Access is easy from the motorway and there are plenty of parking spaces and a regularly emptied Deutsche Post mailbox. I can't judge the toilet situation at this rest stop. All in all a good experience!

Shower 3€, at the checkout at the entrance on the left. At the restaurant. The shower itself is in the basement. Key to key, the cashier gives a QR code (ticket) to go to the restroom. The shower is large, there is 220V, a mirror, a toilet, paper, a chair (does not fill with water), a hairdryer. There is no time limit. 3 cabins.

It's a bit noisy near the autobahn, but you can stand. 30 min. Kaufland. Water at a gas station, shower in a cafe 3 €, clean, great, recommend

8:45 p.m.... rest stop closes at this time on Sundays. They were just putting everything away. Toilets were a disgrace, three of the women's toilets were broken, at least we were still allowed to go there. No disinfectant in the dispensers, no soap. Floor dirty. Paid another euro for that. Simply an imposition for women.

A small (almost black) meatball costs 5.90 Mustard or ketchup is extra, and the roll is also charged extra. I don't think I've ever been as loud as I was that day 😡😡

Good parking place. The cafe has a shower for 3 euros, with no time limit for your stay. There is an outlet, which is so necessary on a long journey, food, souvenirs, and an ATM.

Restaurant with Burger King. Large parking lot for trucks. There are toilets 1 euro and a shower 3 euros. (Showers and toilets are located in the basement of the restaurant. The showers are spacious and large, quite clean.)

Of the 3 toilets in the rest stop, 2 were out of order!!! But that's nothing new at Sanifair!!!

A coffee is extremely overpriced, but it only tastes like filter coffee that has already been brewed the second time. We also ordered a small cocoa (for an incredible €4.90). The lady was totally overwhelmed. She asked me if I wanted cream in my cocoa. I denied this. Afterwards I was asked a second time if I wanted a medium cocoa, even though I ordered a small one. She then presented me with the finished cocoa with cream. I then “complained” that I actually wanted without cream. The lady then argued with me that I had ordered with cream. When her colleague came over, she said loudly that she was really sweating and grabbed her armpits and then the coffee cup. Absolutely disgusting, just like the coffee 😖

Everything is ok. Unfortunately there was hardly any water coming out of the taps and one soap was empty and the other dispenser was broken. The coffee from the machine in the gas station tastes good.

Disaster!! No participating BK restaurant! Unfortunately, the coupons and many other burgers are not available here…

We used the Sanifair changing room including a children's toilet. The room was very clean and really well equipped. Our baby was really excited to look at the dolphins on the wall while he was being changed. There's even a heater above. Meanwhile, our older daughter used the children's toilet. She was then able to wash her hands alone at the children's sink and she was also able to take out the paper towels at child height. Really great! Afterwards we got a snack at Burgerking. The only reason I'm deducting a star is that 2 of the 5 order terminals didn't work and you had to wait in line unnecessarily long to order an ice cream.

Open 24 hours?? Absolutely not true. Wanted to order around 1855u; “we finish in 10 minutes”. That was really the last time that even as a truck driver I tried to order something. Fries+fish € 18?? Are you crazy? You will all be broke in a year. What incredible madness. As far as I'm concerned, Schliestvigr is always a priority.

We had breakfast there. Price and performance are okay. Due to the bridge construction over the highway, interesting views while you can eat. Toilets as usual, with the 1 euro system. Plumbing is good. Staff is friendly. Parking spaces are available nearby.

I wanted to change my baby, the room was locked, I went to the checkout and asked, the lady asked for either my cell phone, keys or €50 for the key. It was pouring rain. I think it's a disgrace to treat mothers like that, I'm extremely disappointed!! ! The next toilet was 20m further on and I could change my baby. I expect the staff to be trained accordingly; I cannot have to give personal belongings to someone else just so I can change my child's diaper

Catastrophe... totally filthy toilets... more brown than white... for both the women and the men... no children learn so quickly how to behave at rest stops... and they still want it have a euro... water comes out of the tap in drops... towels are non-existent... the tenant should go on them himself and then eat something with his hands... A facility we entered by chance on our route. It has a closed section with markets and cafes. The toilets are very clean. Very suitable for a short break.

Large parking lot, hardly any queues Unfortunately there is no 10% discount on drinks because of ADAC 5.09.24: Staff closed the cash register so that you should only order from the machine. Everything typed in - machine switched off and then out of service. Doesn't work at all...

At 7:30 p.m. everything is ready... North Sea, Burger King, Serways. Nothing warm to eat. Substandard!

The rest stop was generally fine. The existing staff (fast food etc.) were slightly overwhelmed, so there were long waiting times. Nevertheless, it is recommended for smaller breaks.

Yesterday in the restaurant, impossible prices. 2x coffee for 10.38€. This is probably just a rip-off. That was the first and the last time.

Amazing views for a Burger King

One star is still too many. I have rarely experienced such bad service and in the peak travel season the toilets/showers are dirty, the food is carelessly slammed onto the plate and has been lying in the warming display for ages and I don't even want to start with the prices, in short, the worst Rest stop I haven't seen in a long time

ONE star is already too many... I'm happy to pay if I can use a clean and well-maintained toilet. I also always give a tip for the local MA. Unfortunately yesterday it was dirty for the ladies and gentlemen, no toilet paper or paper for their hands. When asked upstairs at the coffee counter, the bearded MA gave the impolite, pat answer that the MA was on break. One euro is even too much for such a dirty, unkempt facility.

Went to dinner at the Wunnenstein Ost service area near North Sea today on Sunday at 4:15 p.m. I ordered a pollack fillet with parsley potatoes and tartar sauce. Plus a drink for a total of 17.04 euros. The potatoes were cold and swimming in oil, the fish was fried almost black on the outside and lukewarm on the inside. The food was so inedible!!! The manager could not be found.

Warm demolition is the only thing that helps here. It's really unbelievable how run down everything is here. The unfriendliness of the employees no longer makes much of a difference.

Great rest stop..lots of choice..food and drink.. Unfortunately the toilets...bad...you paid 1 euro...BUT toilet paper was empty... Soap empty...hand paper empty...SO YES...

Always when you have an “urgent need”. Completely closed 3 times, there were obviously people inside once - but the entrance was closed to us and many others. I rarely have reason to give so few stars, but here it's an absolute "must" so that people go straight to the next "rest" and don't end up standing in front of closed doors. What a shame!
