The changing room with children's toilet is visible from the outside through a glass pane; privacy is not possible as there is no roller shutter. Every other guest walks past the door and can see the children using the toilet.

What a mess with that shower, if you don't have €20 in cash, the shower won't work. What idiot came up with that? Service 0, coffee is slop!

I wanted to eat something at 4 pm, but unfortunately the restaurant was already closed! That's outrageous, you should have your license revoked!

What's happening in Germany lately is unreal. A transit ride on the autobahn costs around 250 euros, and toilets are closed in many places. Here's a case: 12:30 p.m. I want to shower, and there's a queue. I wait 30 minutes because either there's only one shower stall or they don't bother to clean the others. Then, the attendant, besides money, obviously doesn't want my keys as collateral, only 20 euros, while the guy in front of me left his ID 😱 as a deposit. Apparently, showers are a luxury.

A very good and well-organized selection. The restrooms are hygienic, about a 2 out of 5. Not exactly state-of-the-art, but very clean. Therefore, 4 stars.

The service is terrible. A 20 euro cash deposit is required for a shower, otherwise you can't get in. The staff's communication is poor. If you don't have the money for a deposit, they tell you to leave. The attitude is lousy. I recommend management review the shower conditions and have a conversation with the staff about their customer service. Change your online hours; don't mislead people!

If you don't have time, please move on! I stood at the food counter for a few minutes wanting to order something, when the cook finally said to order at the front. I went to the till, where there were five people ahead of me and the person making the coffee was completely overwhelmed. After 10 minutes, it was my turn and I wanted Jägerschnitzel (hunter's schnitzel), and he actually told me I had to order it at the self-service kiosk! No sign anywhere. So I didn't eat anything, as my break was almost over! Never again. I'd rather go to a rest stop where they don't serve the same old thing. Unfortunately, zero stars isn't an option, and you can keep the 10% for my review, just like the toilet voucher.

Well, it's the typical 1-euro toilet, only unfortunately one toilet was broken and completely filthy, one of the entry machines was also broken and the other only worked after numerous attempts.

There are parking spaces for trucks, showers, and that's it. There's no food, hence the 4-star rating.

We stopped at the Lipperland rest area for a break. The toilet was clean, but as always, it cost €1. The shop wasn't very busy. We wanted to eat. The restaurant was edible, but the staff was incredibly unfriendly. What did we want? They didn't even know what they offered. We pointed to the menu board. The food arrived after a while. The box tasted okay, but that was about it. The price was far too high. Meanwhile, more customers arrived, but the service was overwhelmed. We won't choose Lipperland next time.

This is a great place to stop. Plenty of parking is available for trucks and cars. Food and drinks are expensive, but the coffee is good. And what rest stop isn't expensive?

You can only use the shower with a deposit of 20 EUR or with your ID. Cleaning is so-so.

Terrible service. They won't let the driver shower because you have to leave a €20 deposit. No car keys, no passport. Just give him the money and that's it. And there's no guarantee he'll give you back! Learn from the French: you pay for the roads, but there's zero service here!

A very bad experience! I went to the restroom and the €1 ticket wouldn't come out! The agent who was working there came to see me and accused me of going through without paying! I told him the ticket hadn't come out! He was humiliated by the arrival of another customer who paid and also didn't receive a ticket! He judged me very badly. It's shameful. There's no respect for the customer. On October 14, at approximately 6:35 a.m.

This is by far the worst Serways there is. We walk in: the entrance door is so broken that it seems the janitor was either on three weeks' vacation or sick. A line at the checkout stretched all the way to the main entrance because the employees prefer to put away the merchandise. Then I went on to the restrooms and encountered an absolute disaster: All the urinals were full and wouldn't drain. The smell in them was correspondingly bad. On top of that, only one or two of the regular restrooms seemed to be in use, the rest simply closed. Furthermore, another urinal was completely out of service. As I left the restroom, I immediately saw a door that looked like someone had tried to break it open or break it in. This just goes to show how long the janitor has been out of place. Only half of the ordering terminals were working, and half of the monitors were also out of service, as you could clearly see. There was a sign on one of the dining tables saying "Closed." My question is, is the entire table closed now, or can you still eat there? In any case, the store is absolutely not doing well. I recommend closing it.

This is by far one of the worst Serways rest stops we've ever been to. The entrance door is broken. The door opposite the restrooms is broken. The tables aren't positioned under the lamps. Some bulbs are flickering. Order terminals are turned off. Employees don't speak German and are completely overwhelmed. Never again!

Clean - serways machine did not issue a receipt

Subway (operated by Serway) doesn't offer a sub of the day (the vending machine says it's sold out). However, I can buy this exact sub at the regular price.

At 10:00 pm this establishment is already closed, there is no other toilet in the parking lot, not to mention a shower, what kind of brutal attitude towards drivers is this?!!!!

I've never encountered such an unfriendly employee during a Serways visit. When you work in customer service, you should be able to avoid taking your bad mood out on customers.

There's always a parking space, even on Saturdays. It's dark at night, and the shower costs 4 euros. If you're dirty, you have to leave 20 euros to get the key 🔑 to the showers.

After pointing out that the Serways receipts were empty, the service was still friendly, but hanging the baguette with the lower body under the counter and still handing it out is an absolute no-go

One star for even having a shower. It's 7:10 a.m., the staff is inside the restaurant, chatting on their phones, and the door is chained shut without any notice. Very progressive Germany 😉

No place for a break. Even fast-food restaurants have more atmosphere. Restrooms are either broken or dirty.

The two Albanian gentlemen in the cafe were wonderful. They barely spoke German, but you could communicate with them in English. The Subway is well-maintained and run by a very nice man. I walked out with a lot of joy and laughter.

Very clean and extremely child-friendly, with a great outdoor playground and a small but nice indoor play area. The food bar option is cool, and the food is really decent in terms of taste and quality for a rest stop. Of course, like everywhere else, the value for money isn't right, but here it's tasty and everything is fresh.

Unfortunately, I wouldn't recommend it. After paying a euro to use the restroom, the self-cleaning Sanifair toilets weren't serviced and flashed a warning sign. Accordingly, the restrooms weren't as clean as they should have been. There was no soap, either. When redeeming the vouchers, we were told, very noncommittally, that "only one voucher per purchased item" could be redeemed. Due to the exorbitant prices in the café and shop (over five euros for a small hot chocolate!), we would have paid significantly more than we would have paid off the highway, despite saving a euro. We canceled our trip and definitely won't be back!

At 7 p.m., we wanted something to eat. Unfortunately, we didn't get anything. Two hours later, I wanted two showers for me and my child. There was another Polish driver ahead of us who was also denied a shower. A German woman lying on the ground, talking back at us, and brazenly laughed at us. This is what service is like for a Polish customer who pays 2,000-3,000 euros for a single truck. They call themselves a traveler service center! It's awful.

The parking lot is large, there is enough space. The bus arrived without any problems at 21:50. You can get water at the gas station. From the tire pump to the right, there is a tap on the wall near the door.

Half only open and very expensive

Cleanliness is okay, but the food prices are exorbitant. For example, one Bockwurst costs €5.69. The managers should be ashamed of themselves.

Extremely long wait times, even though it wasn't busy. Unfortunately, the employees are quite slow and seem both unenthusiastic and overwhelmed by the process. Instead of working proactively, they just throw the appropriate amount of fries into the fryer for each order instead of immediately adding more for the next order. Oh man... If a tour bus arrived here, nothing would work... The currywurst and fries tasted very good.

I got something from Subway. The baguette was absolutely soggy. I didn't think anything of it at first. It's a good thing I only ate half, because when I got home and wanted to eat the other half, the moldy baguette caught my eye. Absolutely disgusting, and I'm pregnant, thanks for that.
