I've never encountered such an unfriendly employee during a Serways visit. When you work in customer service, you should be able to avoid taking your bad mood out on customers.

There's always a parking space, even on Saturdays. It's dark at night, and the shower costs 4 euros. If you're dirty, you have to leave 20 euros to get the key 🔑 to the showers.

One star for even having a shower. It's 7:10 a.m., the staff is inside the restaurant, chatting on their phones, and the door is chained shut without any notice. Very progressive Germany 😉

No place for a break. Even fast-food restaurants have more atmosphere. Restrooms are either broken or dirty.

The two Albanian gentlemen in the cafe were wonderful. They barely spoke German, but you could communicate with them in English. The Subway is well-maintained and run by a very nice man. I walked out with a lot of joy and laughter.

Very clean and extremely child-friendly, with a great outdoor playground and a small but nice indoor play area. The food bar option is cool, and the food is really decent in terms of taste and quality for a rest stop. Of course, like everywhere else, the value for money isn't right, but here it's tasty and everything is fresh.

Unfortunately, I wouldn't recommend it. After paying a euro to use the restroom, the self-cleaning Sanifair toilets weren't serviced and flashed a warning sign. Accordingly, the restrooms weren't as clean as they should have been. There was no soap, either. When redeeming the vouchers, we were told, very noncommittally, that "only one voucher per purchased item" could be redeemed. Due to the exorbitant prices in the café and shop (over five euros for a small hot chocolate!), we would have paid significantly more than we would have paid off the highway, despite saving a euro. We canceled our trip and definitely won't be back!

There's a large parking lot for cars, and it's clean, too. The food selection is very varied. At €1, the toilets are more expensive than in the Netherlands.

At 7 p.m., we wanted something to eat. Unfortunately, we didn't get anything. Two hours later, I wanted two showers for me and my child. There was another Polish driver ahead of us who was also denied a shower. A German woman lying on the ground, talking back at us, and brazenly laughed at us. This is what service is like for a Polish customer who pays 2,000-3,000 euros for a single truck. They call themselves a traveler service center! It's awful.

Half only open and very expensive

Extremely long wait times, even though it wasn't busy. Unfortunately, the employees are quite slow and seem both unenthusiastic and overwhelmed by the process. Instead of working proactively, they just throw the appropriate amount of fries into the fryer for each order instead of immediately adding more for the next order. Oh man... If a tour bus arrived here, nothing would work... The currywurst and fries tasted very good.

Cleanliness is okay, but the food prices are exorbitant. For example, one Bockwurst costs €5.69. The managers should be ashamed of themselves.

I got something from Subway. The baguette was absolutely soggy. I didn't think anything of it at first. It's a good thing I only ate half, because when I got home and wanted to eat the other half, the moldy baguette caught my eye. Absolutely disgusting, and I'm pregnant, thanks for that.

There are 3 shower cabins, they only open one with such a large parking lot, they only open one, it's insanity because they are too lazy to clean all three!!!! There is not enough space for one star, there are no words, only emotions 😡

How do I get the ADAC discount? The ordering terminal gives incorrect information. The correct answer is: order at the terminal, then select cash payment, and pay at the checkout. The discount will be deducted at the checkout.

For us, it was the slowest MC; we had to wait around 20 minutes for two coffees and two pieces of cake. So bring your time.

A complete disaster. A huge, modern, impersonal Serways rest area with barriers to the restrooms. The rest area was almost completely empty, but at least eight employees were loitering behind the counter/kitchen area. Nevertheless, it felt like an eternity until my lunch (at a rather steep price) was finally ready for pickup. It was poorly presented, by the way. The staff spoke very poor German, and communication in English was also difficult. Ordering was only possible via terminals; the counter itself refused to serve you. The menu items there couldn't be found on the terminals (fish dishes, for example). Therefore, unfortunately, only one point (for the attractive interior design).

They were already closing at 21:55.

Unfortunately, the price of 4 euros for a shower is a bit excessive.

11.06.2025 The truck parking lot is ok, although it is dirty because the drivers pour the remains of brewed coffee or meals on the concrete. Don't do that, there are bins! It will be nicer for all of us to use this parking lot. In the building with the restaurant part you can take a shower, there are at least two available at the same time, so you can freshen up quickly. The cost is €4, you can reduce the price with a coupon from the Sanifair toilets. You give a document or €20 as collateral, they do not accept truck keys here. Service at a high level - very nice gentlemen work here, they are polite and keep order.

Not recommended. This Subway could be the definition of slow motion; they can't tell the difference between cheese oregano and honey oat, and the employee was unfriendly and rude.

Ordering at Subway was terrible. Essentially, almost everything was sold out, so the sub was pretty lightly loaded. They did come with two free cookies, but they didn't taste that good on the sub. The ordering computer doesn't hide unavailable items, so you only find out after you've completed your order. Of course, the money was still deducted.

Unfortunately you can't give —— stars. I was very insulted by an employee at the Lipperland Süd service station. I wasn't aware that multiple toilet vouchers cannot be redeemed at the checkout. So my children had to make a change in their choice of sweets. When we got back to the checkout, the cashier was of the opinion that our deposit vouchers were now invalid and destroyed and that I should pay in full. The manner was utterly impudent and the cashier refused to engage in a reasonable conversation and insulted me in the presence of my children and other guests. My children cried and were very afraid of this woman. Definitely a traumatic experience. Really sad. It was a woman in her 50s with medium-length hair and glasses.

Had the tastiest sub there in years. Super modern rest stop and extremely friendly employee who was well informed about animal ingredients in the products and also had a few nutritional tips :)

Actually a very typical rest stop. Very clean inside, unfortunately a lot of garbage flying around in front of the door. Had lunch there too. The meals were between 10 and 15 euros. It wasn't a culinary highlight, but we were full and the staff was very friendly.

They are always very nice and helpful when you need to get up with the walker 🚾 and the hallways are not blocked so that you can get through easily. It is also always clean. It is and remains our regular break spot.
