A rude employee who apparently wouldn't let us ask any questions about the food and then spoke to us in a condescending tone and raised voice. Absolutely unacceptable.

It's always a pleasure to come to this place when you're traveling. Everything is tidy and clean. The toilet costs €1 and the shower €4; both are always quite clean. There's free parking. In short, a highly recommended place.

I've rarely had such bad coffee. Served by supposed Coffee Fellows employees who, with their corporate ID uniforms, try to suggest they can actually serve coffee drinks, it's simply outrageous. The professional equipment is of little help when the double espresso takes six seconds to brew and the milk for the cappuccino is practically boiling! Thanks for nothing.

Large parking lot with good service. Spaces are always limited due to the busy road section.

The lighting needs to be addressed urgently. Either the lights are off or covered with tape because many of them are flickering. Constant flashing and flickering could trigger migraines or other symptoms in highly sensitive people. Furthermore, it doesn't create a relaxing atmosphere in this state. Addendum: Please let me know if you've fixed the lighting problems so I can update my review. I don't know when I'll be back.

The dirty shower costs 4 euros, they refused to take the voucher.

Don't give any 5 stars. It's not normal for a country to charge exorbitant road tolls, and then have the driver pay for the toilet and shower out of their own pocket. This shouldn't happen. It's wrong. Take France for example: they have huge road tolls, but everything is free for the driver.

Super nice clean shop, also toilets. Bought Bockwurst and a bun. Used toilet discount - 1 euro.

1 euro for the toilet, it's not even worth 10 cents.

The restrooms were clean. Coffee is cheaper in the restaurant area, the staff are friendly, the parking layout is confusing, and the outdoor area is shabby.

I'm in a wheelchair. I arrived at the rest stop to use the accessible restroom. An employee told me it was open. Unfortunately, it wasn't. The employee disappeared for a while and then returned with another employee (whose German wasn't very good) who told me the key wouldn't be back until the next day. He asked if I should just pee outside. They didn't seem to care. Those of us with paralysis often have bladder problems. Now I'm on my way to the next rest stop, so I'll have to get my electric wheelchair out again and hope I can use the restroom somewhere.

Quiet place. There are showers and shops nearby. This is what a heavy truck driver needs.

It was actually okay, cleanliness was fine, but the price-performance ratio is completely off, although they were friendly to the kids. The restaurant is quite noisy and that bothers me personally.

Unusable due to trucks looking for parking

This rest stop is simply beautiful and, above all, clean. Food and drinks are, of course, expensive, as in all rest stops in Germany.

Unfortunately the bus parking lots are always full of trucks… 🤮 if you get a bus parking space it’s good there… ☝🏼

We stop here to eat something and decided to add some fuel first, but didnt realize its fuel prices are about 0.50€/l more!! compared to other stations on A5. Shell is another gas station that always higher prices than the rest.

Toilet was clean and they have good Italian coffee.

The parking lot is large, but by 5:00 PM there are already no spots left, even behind the Christmas trees. So keep that in mind😏😉

Very pleasant rest stop. The older gentleman behind the counter is very friendly and accommodating.

We forgot our bag with our IDs and bank cards in a reliable place and went there 3 hours later and they gave us our bag back in full.

My sweetheart and I stopped at the Rivendell rest stop after a five-hour journey through Middle-earth. There, we were warmly welcomed with smiles by the staff at the tavern. When we ordered our meal, the hospitable elves served us a plate full of fried töften strips with a giant sausage and sauce. Rach, the restaurant tester, probably would have only given it one star, but for us down-to-earth hobbits, it was a three-star dish based on Google reviews. Very large portion, okay taste, but unfortunately, only adequate value for money. Friendly service from the Elbe family, and clean restrooms. Enjoy.

The food is so-so, the fat is extremely black, meaning it's completely gone. Black fat indicates uncleanliness, and as a guest who wants something expensive to eat, you should definitely be on the lookout for it. The fat is mostly just water, and the taste suffers greatly as a result. It's rare to find this in other highway rest stops like this.

Ample parking. Showers are available. Prices are similar to those on German highways.

Good rest stop with clean toilets

Unfortunately, like many rest stops these days, it was closed, even though the internet says it's open 24 hours! Unfortunately, like many "open 24 hours" rest stops, the door was closed at night. At least this rest stop had a sign on the door saying it was closed from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. It's a shame, because the rest stop looked clean and nice from the outside! I can only give it three stars because the opening hours weren't correct, as stated online. Please remove the 24-hour opening hours, thank you ;-)

This is a standard Serways rest area. Usually on the expensive side, but the restrooms are clean. Outside, there were also plenty of tables and chairs to relax and have a drink.

Lots of choice with food, looks tasty and is also good for a roadside restaurant.

Ideal place to relax after a long drive.

The food was overpriced and very, very bad. We really didn't have high expectations for a rest stop, but we were still surprised at how much sugar and how little flavor you can pack into a meal.

Disastrous service, my wife and I went to take a shower and they asked us for 8 euros for a shower, and in all of Germany we pay 4 euros for a shower because she takes a shower with me and they didn't allow us two different showers, only one. Horrible place. I don't recommend going there. Avoid it. I started my truck and went to another place.

We weren't greeted very warmly (the floor wasn't completely dry yet), but every table was dirty. We were disappointed this time, and we always stop here when we travel from Switzerland to Germany.

Friendly staff. The selection is typical of motorway gas stations, although good, but also quite expensive. The restrooms are clean. I didn't eat here; I found the prices for a sausage with a roll extremely high.

No cash register was manned, even though two staff members were there. Nobody knew where to line up; people were standing around with their goods in their hands, and on top of that, the price tags were incorrectly positioned. How something so simple could go so badly is a wonder to me.

Finally, a clean rest area, with clean restrooms... And above all, a very nice lady at Starbucks. Thank you! After hours and miles of driving, it feels good 😄

It's hard to find a parking space, there is a shower for 4 euros, good road to all.

It's always busy, yet clean. We visit this restaurant regularly, are very satisfied, and will be back!

It costs €1 to use the restroom here. There are three available, but none are usable. One is completely covered in feces, the other is plastered with toilet paper, and the third is locked. And for that, one euro!!!!! Outrageous 😡😡😡

Run over by a truck. Garbage everywhere, not nice. The toilet receipt isn't being read at the coffee machine. I pointed this out to the staff, and all I got in return was a shrug. The service definitely looks different. He, too, was apparently not in the mood for customers. Whatever, I won't go back here again. Too bad.

Convenient on the way to Frankfurt. Service okay, otherwise just a gas station and rest stop, expensive!

Convinient stop along the Autobahn. Baby changing room and toilets are clean and well maintained. Good food options too.

The restaurant is poorly equipped, and the Burger King doesn't open until 10:00 a.m. What Burger King at a rest stop opens until 10:00 a.m.? Really bad.

Very spacious and most importantly clean showers, possibly the cleanest of all Serways in Germany. Cost 4 euros, three cabins, hot water. About 900 meters away there is Penny, a good path has been trodden to it :)

On a weekday, at 18:00 there is no place. Places in the line are very limited.

Parking is surrounded by a group of beggers or fraudsters i can say,they will come to you in shifts and ask you for some euroes in day and in night....be aware.....rest all is fine.... Shower,nature,views,market....and all Parking is full at 5 pm...

If you are coming to this parking, beware of beggars. These people work in shifts. One comes in the afternoon and one comes in the night, who ask for money from people by making some excuse or the other, so keep this thing in mind that if anyone asks for money from you here, then do not give him money.Apart of this everything is Fine.

We used this stop for both fuelling up the car as a quick lunch. The fuel price was really good for a place close to the main highway. We used the MCDONALD'S next door for lunch. Service was quick, but burger was cold . As it was quite busy and we were on a tight schedule didn't had the time to complain. But in the basics it should be good when ordered. Restaurant was clean and sufficient place to get seated. The toilets were a different story, being very dirty

You can have a nice, quiet breakfast here. It's not too crowded. They serve coffee, tea, cappuccino, latte, hot chocolate, and other drinks. Croissants are also delicious. And not too expensive. You can also buy other things there.

For a short break you were very good today, everything was clean.

Poorly designed charging facility. When the charging stations are full, the passage is blocked! This is completely unacceptable. Furthermore, people don't clear the charging stations! Charging here is not recommended.

Maybe I got a bad shift, the staff was not friendly, two cash registers were working, but only one cash register was selling goods, for this reason there was a queue of 10+ people, no one was greeted, it was not a pleasant feeling

Generally clean rest area (inside); the area is very littered; 8 charging stations are far too few for a large rest area; restrooms were clean; prices for food and drink were outrageously expensive (1.5l of water €4.49).
