The place is very nice and you can eat well, if you bring an electric car you can take advantage of leaving it charging while you drink something to rest and if necessary eat in the restaurants and you can go to the bathrooms that cost 1 euro and they give you a ticket that is worth one euro inside the place and everything is clean

Quite okay for a rest stop The rest stop is showing its age. The entrance area is a bit cluttered due to the numerous shelves and could be designed differently.

Very good for a stopover. The food is good, and there's something for everyone, whether sweet, sour, or salty. The drinks selection is also very good. The staff is very friendly.

Hello everyone. I'm currently at the Bruchsal West service area and used the shower there, right there, not at the gas station. I was pleasantly surprised because the shower was superbly equipped and very clean. There was a toilet, a hairdryer, a seat, even a soap dispenser, a paper towel dispenser, and even—and I've never seen this before—sanitary bags for my sanitary pads. For such great service, the €4 fee is a completely fair price. Most service area operators could take a lot out of that! By the way, you can get the key for each of the three showers at the hotel reception.

Of course, prices in DE are higher, but this is compensated by the quality and manner of service.

Space to park but pay toilets... people do it in nature

The parking lot is very noisy, there is no barrier from the highway, right, why would a truck driver tolerate it, he is not a human being. Almost always full. There is garbage everywhere. The only plus is that there is a store nearby. This parking lot was made more for cars. There is a shower and, as always, a paid toilet, this is a special place in Germany, it cannot be free and therefore a stinking piss-filled parking lot. Everything is as always in such a parking lot. Savage is sometimes better than this place.

A large and busy rest stop with all the amenities. It's nothing special or beautiful. There's also a Starbucks, but our cappuccino was mediocre. The restrooms are clean and cost 1 euro. There are six Ionity charging stations with 350 kW of power. A good stop for basic necessities, but not a holiday experience.

The staff was friendly. The building was very hot and stuffy. I find the overall architecture poorly thought out. In places where a lot of space is needed, such as at the entrances to the restrooms, space has been cut back, making it very unpleasant to use. I also find the €1 fee very unpleasant; other rest stops have better practices. The playground was closed (a nightmare when kids want to run around after a long drive!), and there wasn't a hint of shade on the terrace. Overall, there were far too many people there; it was simply an imposition. It's a shame that there's a Burger King and a Starbucks. A single one with decent, wholesome, and ultimately regional food would have been perfectly sufficient for me and I would have preferred it. The parking lot was also somewhat oddly laid out and completely overcrowded. A shame!

The restrooms at the gas station, owned by Sanifair, were an absolute disgrace. I've rarely seen anything so dirty and filthy. And I even had to pay for it! The floor around the restrooms was wet and muddy, and one was almost overflowing because it was clogged. Toilet paper was a dream. The trash cans at the rest area, which don't have lids, were ridiculously overflowing. The ones with lids could only be opened by hand, and even from the outside, they were too disgusting to touch.

Unfortunately, the food was a disappointment. Currywurst had been sitting around all day, and the restrooms weren't clean, as is typical in Germany. Thanks, Merkel 2015.

First of all - the staff were truly friendly and welcoming, from person to person!! It's truly a feat to remain friendly under such hostile conditions... and that's what prompted me to write this review. The highest temperature outside yesterday was 34°C, and in the rest stop, without exaggeration, it felt like 39°C! No air conditioning, not a breath of air!!! I looked at the MANY tilting windows, of which only 2-3 were open, and asked why they were closed. I was told in all seriousness that they were simply stuck??!!!!!!! THAT is outrageous to treat your employees like this, who have to endure this unbearably stifling heat for 8 hours!

Coupons were not accepted at Burger King😡

"Charging frustration instead of a charging break – Bruchsal West at its limit" Sunday afternoon, a stopover to recharge – and then this: All IONITY charging points were occupied, except for one, which was defective, even though the display said it was operational. The EnBW charging station on site? An older Terra with 50 kW, technically outdated and unfortunately blocked by an electric Caddy. For our two electric cars, only an AC charging point with 11 kW remained – no option for a quick onward journey. The entire rest area was completely overcrowded: trucks were parked in restricted lanes, everything seemed improvised and overloaded. There was little evidence of charging infrastructure for the growing number of electric vehicles here – we had to keep going because there was simply no alternative. My conclusion: Bruchsal West is at its limit in terms of infrastructure. Anyone wanting to charge here on Sundays needs patience, luck – or a plan B. For a location on the A5 with an IONITY connection, this is disappointing.

We only visited to use the restrooms, and we were charged €1 per person. The restrooms were clean and we didn't have to queue.

Spacious, well-maintained, and clean rest stop. Friendly staff. I had meatballs with spaetzle and mushroom cream sauce. The food was excellent, the portions generous, and the value for money was very good. 100% recommendation.

Nice stopover on the way to Austria. I always grab something to eat here. You can't expect too much from that.

You can find parking spots for a truck, although it is not easy. A shower in a restaurant costs 4 euros. Exchange a key for a key. There is also a toilet in the shower. A separate toilet costs 1 euro. There is a quarry nearby. On the other side, 30 minutes from the mountain, there is a lake and a Penny store, quite cheap.

Parking with clean walls, but toilet and hairdryer inside (4€). Various dining options! Friendly staff! For drivers, there are shops nearby, Penny at 650 m. At 2 km there is a beach area, with clean water, ideal for relaxing, as a great alternative to sitting in the truck!

Everything is great, shower and toilet. Shop 600 meters, quarry 1.5 km, swimming is prohibited, but if you really want to, you can) The only problem is that there is not enough space for LKW....

4 euros shower with clean toilet

Crowded at certain times. Unfortunately, the building has seen better days, as has the parking lot. It's no longer functional for today's needs. It's nice to find a Starbucks there.

A large, well-maintained rest stop with a motel and dog run, a lovely terrace, and delicious food. The staff is extremely friendly and dog-loving. We felt very comfortable.

The rest stop seemed clean. However, the restaurant was only staffed by one person. We wanted to order meatloaf with fried potatoes and a fried egg. The employee said he'd be right there, but first had to refill the coffee machine with milk. Then he apologized again, saying he still had to check out a few more people. Staffing the restaurant with just one person is unreasonable for both the employee and the customers. I wouldn't recommend it. Seats on the terrace were very pleasant.

The rest stop is clean, very well equipped, and there are restrooms at the gas station. The disabled restroom is easily accessible via a ramp and Euro key. There are outdoor parking spaces and a wide range of amenities for travelers. There's also a hotel attached.

The child needed a break from the long journey and was looking forward to the playground. This was completely closed off because something needs to be repaired. It is not clear what exactly was broken and unfortunately there was no alternative play area inside :/

I stopped to go to the bathroom. I paid but the turnstile didn't work. Then the service staff came up to me and insulted me that I had to pay. But all of this in a language other than German. I tried to explain myself. The man didn't understand a word of German and just insulted me aggressively. Without words!

That was a really nice experience 😍. Was traveling with 2 dogs 🐶🐕. There was an outdoor area for dogs here, great. Then I wanted to take a break in the restaurant, MC and Burger King, not my thing. So to Serways Restaurant to eat a curry sausage with fries. They were just about to close and yet the super nice service staff was ready to prepare me another meal. Since I was alone with the dogs, she even brought this to the table for me. Thank you very much, dear team, so I was able to continue my journey in a relaxed manner. The special operation is truly commendable.

Clean rest area that is well positioned. It's a good place to meet up to continue your journey, as the other rest area towards Frankfurt can be reached legally by road. Everything is even signposted and on the way back you can easily get back to your parked vehicle.

For me one of the worst motorway rest stops. Just wanted a bockwurst at Serways. Of course none are finished. They then sent us to the “kiosk”. Of course they didn't have any and sent it to Serways with a stupid comment. So I imagine customer-friendliness to be different. If there were zero stars, I would have taken it straight away.

Very good rest stop. Toilets and restaurant clean. There is a cool souvenir shop with stylish items. Staff also very friendly. We always stop there for a break when possible.
