Serways Raststätte Aurach Nord in Erlangen

After 7 p.m. you no longer need to go to Tank&Rast in Germany unless you have a certain need. The service goes to sleep very promptly, the displays are empty and I definitely won't buy a well-seasoned currywurst sausage for €10. And who eats stale meatloaf out of the box? The state-protected monopolist is overpriced beyond competition and can do without good service. On the other hand, the smell from using the toilet that arises after the journey continues remains a fond memory.

Only Serways is evaluated here: Who actually says that robber barons are extinct in Germany? No, it still lurks by the side of the road to prey on the traveler. You only stop here because you HAVE TO!

Good, clean rest stop, always happy to stop there.

Since we had children, we regularly stop here on the way to visit family. The Sanifair concept means you have (almost) everything you need for your offspring. Unfortunately the heating wasn't on in November? It was almost dangerously cold for babies! That doesn't work at all!

Shower works 24/7 and costs three euros. I didn't notice any communication problems with the employees at the checkout. The showers are very clean for Serway's standards. I'd love to come back 👍🏼

On a weekday, closer to 18-00, it is already difficult to find a place in the Christmas trees.

This rest stop is great for a break with children. There are some playground equipment set up in front of the store where the kids can let off steam while the parents use the seating outside. If the weather is bad, there is also an indoor play area. The changing room is also clean and well equipped (even with a fan heater). We were pleasantly surprised and happy to have stopped here by chance.

For a small hunger, okay, but nothing more. The staff was very friendly, something you don't find everywhere. It's a shame that the doors are not wheelchair accessible.

The toilets were clean. You couldn't complain about that. The parking lot was empty and you got a good place to park your car. Unfortunately, I observed that some men were unable to use the toilets. They simply went to the edge and relieved themselves there. And they weren't truck drivers. I hadn't redeemed two vouchers on the way there and wanted to redeem them here along with the third. This was refused to me and stated that there was only one voucher per item.

Parking 10 euros, 7 of which are consumed (24 hours) Showers 2.50, is clean and big enough... Friendly service...

Rarely have I seen such a dirty sanitary facility/toilets.!! It's a shame that Serways/Sanifair also charges €1 for this! Then it should be free if you can't guarantee the service. I/we are speechless! The floor is full of urine and covered with paper, and trash cans have long been overflowing. No paper towels, nothing. Generally very dirty. Approached an employee and he said, Yes, they are a disaster. Another company would be responsible for it and they wouldn't do the night shift. So please, no one was responsible during the day. Impudence to the power of ten, it only cost €0.50 to Austria/Munich and everyone was clean. ...and you can only redeem one voucher per purchase 👍🏼🤣🤣 Germ slinger! Since all areas are connected somewhere...🤮🤮🤮🤮

Fine. Charging station unfortunately defective

It's a shame that they charge 1 euro for this "condition" which is called a toilet. The toilet was peed all over, damn! Disinfection on the toilet seat was defective, there was a problem. There's pee all over the toilet, feces even under the glasses, and the rotary disinfection is of no use. Everything in the sink was full of hair, only one soap dispenser was filled. When I went to speak to the staff he looked at me and said "Baby?". Nothing German

Most of the toilets are closed, so there is a long queue in front of them, there is little discretion in the urinals due to the design, soap dispensers and a sink are broken. Cleanliness mediocre. And twice, 2 weeks apart. Absolutely disgraceful.

Pay 1€ for the dirty toilet and then unfortunately the cash register cannot redeem the “value voucher”. Staff a bit overwhelmed and not child-friendly. Only the shift manager was willing to resolve the situation out of “goodwill”.

I ordered the food, didn't get what I asked for, the second time I stressed that it was take away. Of course I got it on a plate. If it hadn't been paid for, I would leave it there. I won't come here next time

It's what you need when you stop on the road

As with all rest stops in Germany, the price-performance ratio is simply not right. Things are better everywhere around Germany. Plus point here: the toilet, which you unfortunately have to pay for (poor Germany), was at least really clean. The only thing the advertising should say is, use your receipt to get our overly expensive coffee at almost the normal price

The shop is extremely expensive, the food is nothing special, hunger drives it down, drinks €3.49 for a 0.5 liter coke, still water €2.99 0.5 liters, diesel €2.14 per liter, with us in town 1.56€, that's 0.58€ more expensive, a shame for the legislator, ... so Putin doesn't set the prices!

The chocolate croissant with chocolate chips and powdered sugar at 6am was to die for. The creamy Dallmayr cappuccino is a pleasure. 😋

The whole “store” is clean and inviting Definitely worth mentioning...the honest staff. I had put my backpack down on the way there and then forgotten it. Oh scary. After 2 hours I noticed it. After a call, it turned out he was found and left at the counter. 3 days later I was able to pick it up "unharmed"...everything was fine...thank you again

Original traditional German tank stelle. Could easily be a gas station from a German crime series. Everything is available.

We stayed there in a motorhome. Despite the many trucks, it was relatively quiet. Toilets were clean and the staff started getting everything fresh for the day at 6 a.m. Unfortunately the Serway Shop wasn't open that early, so there was no breakfast.

Car parking lot is very far away from the toilets and sales rooms.

Clean and enough parking space. The employee was alone in service and seemed annoyed. There is a coffee bar with an offer board on the left. There is a sign on the counter telling you to order at the other cash register. OK. Then the lady says very rudely that you just have to get one at the machine. Everything's fine, but then please take down the price board or a sign telling you to go to the machine (which, by the way, doesn't have any prices on it).

Stopped here to stretch our legs and get out of the car on our way to Austria

There is a nice big gas station parking lot.

Everything was parked by trucks, even in broad daylight on a Saturday afternoon.

The toilets would be rebuilt... However, the container toilet was very clean and free of charge

The best rest area I have ever known. I left my wallet on the toilet there. It was handed over with all its contents and sent to my home without any problems. Very, very friendly, uncomplicated and above all honest employees. Many thanks also to the honest finder. I wish you all the very best from the bottom of my heart.

Everything is defective. Most toilets are closed. Soap dispenser, disinfectant dispenser defective. Considering that the fun costs 1 euro, a bit ridiculous... but clean.

Best gas station on the highway. Staff very friendly and helpful and also very informative if there is a problem or anything else.

Clean fresh parking lot. There were still a few free rides on Saturday. For passenger cars, the gate is 2.5 m, so you know how to deal with it. Two shower cabins, not the biggest, but clean, 3e, key available in the restaurant.

I took part in its construction (expansion) in 2014! There are many places for trucks, shower 3 euros, clean! Good thing is the free inox toilet at the end of the parking lot! You don't have to walk to the other end of the parking lot!

The shower is also clean in the afternoon - it is probably cleaned more often than just once a day! Always my pleasure !!!

Nice, clean, bright parking lot, but like everywhere else in Germany after 20:00, there is a problem with spaces. There are sportswear stores not far from the parking lot)

Nice personel. Delicious bread rolls near the North Sea. Clean toilets. Everything ruined by a stupid management decision that only ONE toilet voucher is valid per purchase item. Serways, are you really that desperate for your visitors' money?

The gas station is well located, the staff is very friendly and polite, there would be more gas stations like this in Europe

On a Thursday afternoon there were plenty of free parking spaces. The rest stop was clean. The food was freshly prepared and tasted good. Just good rest stop style.

Mitarbeiter raucht draußen und schmeißt dann die Kippe auf den Boden...traurig. Hoffentlich wäscht er sich die Hände...9.50 Uhr.

Sehr schöne, saubere Raststätte an der A3

3 Toiletten defekt. Desinfektionsmittelständer defekt, ein Einlassdrehkreutz defekt. Dafür 30 Minuten für die Nutzung der Toi angestanden, da 2 Reisebusse die Raststätte besuchte. Aber 1 Euro wurde abkassiert. Der durfte nicht defekt sein. Das geht gar nicht..

Essen geht so. Man wird satt. Bitte nicht zuviel erwarten. Toilette sind sauber.

Saubere Toiletten wie man es von Serways kennt. Nutzung für 1€ den man wieder einlösen kann.
