Sen is a cozy restaurant with a wide selection of dishes. We had various types of sushi—maki with tuna, avocado, cucumber, and salmon, as well as fried shrimp sushi—it was delicious! I also highly recommend the gyozas; they're fantastic! Reservations are recommended, especially on weekends. The staff is very friendly and attentive. We felt incredibly welcome. Parking is limited, so we parked on the street.

Highly recommended! A reservation is absolutely necessary, especially on weekends. We were lucky enough to get a one-hour slot for two people, but that doesn't always happen. It's also not ideal to order and eat within an hour under time pressure, but that was our own fault. The staff was really friendly and professional, and the food arrived after about 10-15 minutes, not bad at all considering the restaurant was full. The sushi was truly excellent and of high quality. I can't wait to come back!

We love coming to Restaurant Sen for all sorts of occasions. The reasons are, of course, primarily the consistently excellent food, but also the charming service and the wide selection on the menu. The dishes are heavily influenced by Vietnamese cuisine (pho, rice rolls, etc.) but also offer a selection of other Asian dishes such as pad thai and a variety of sushi. Vegetarians will also be happy. The Sen cocktail is particularly delicious, and the drinks menu isn't extensive (e.g., limited wine selection) but rather focused on the essentials. It can get quite busy and noisy on weekends – but conversation without shouting is always possible :) Reservations are recommended on these days. A true gem in Lörrach and always worth a visit!

I've been coming to Sen for several years now. The staff is very friendly and attentive. The restaurant is cozy and decorated in a Vietnamese style. The food is exceptionally delicious. I always order a duck and mango salad and a red curry with duck. Always excellent and generous portions! My absolute favorite restaurant! 😍

We ate at Sen yesterday (Saturday) around 5 p.m. One star because the starter was really great, and the other because the service was friendly. However, the main course, red curry with baked chicken, was abysmally bad. The food arrived first, and the sauce was ice cold. In other words, it wasn't even warm at all. We then reported it, and they just put it in the microwave. The sauce didn't really get any warmer afterward... the curry wasn't even remotely spicy or tangy. It was more like a runny coconut soup. The worst part was the baked chicken. It looked extremely unappetizing and consisted only of fat and gristle. The food went back almost untouched. We also reported it, but the waitress showed no interest... Ultimately, we wasted unnecessary money on food that was inedible...

The food is always delicious, especially authentic. The staff is friendly and attentive; I always enjoy coming here.

We had a truly delicious vegetarian meal. There was plenty of choice, listed in a separate section of the menu. We only discovered it late, so we were initially worried there wouldn't be any vegetarian options. So don't be put off and keep browsing. Special requests, like peanut-free dishes, were no problem.

I was at Sen with friends two weeks ago. We ordered various sushi rolls, and one of my friends had a worm in the sauce on one of her sushi rolls! Luckily, we saw it before she ate it. But the restaurant reacted very strangely; we didn't even get the sushi for free, and all we got was a forced, half-apology! I really can't recommend it, and I'll never go back! That's totally unacceptable!

I was there with friends on Saturday evening. We had a reservation. We ordered a starter and main course with drinks. The starter and drinks came very quickly and tasted good. We waited about an hour and 20 minutes after ordering for the main course, namely four sushi menus. Unfortunately, we were never informed that there was a delay. Only when we asked were we repeatedly told that the food would be coming soon and was already ready, and then it took another 30 minutes. The food tasted very good and the wait was definitely worth it. We were able to take the leftover sushi home with us and had it packaged. The staff were very friendly and accommodated our requests, such as without cream cheese. Despite the long wait, we would happily give the restaurant another chance.

SEN impresses with a beautiful atmosphere and a modern interpretation of high-quality Asian cuisine. The dishes are not only visually stunning, but also delicately balanced in taste. The sushi and dim sum variations are particularly outstanding – fresh, creative, and prepared with attention to detail. The quality of the ingredients is also evident in the hot dishes. The service is attentive and professional, and the ambiance is stylish yet relaxed. The prices are a bit on the higher side, but absolutely justified for what is offered. A place you'll gladly return to.

Very disappointing experience, my food had a very unpleasant aftertaste, as if plastic had been fried. And even more disappointing was the response when a complaint was made by the service staff, namely none at all. Although, that's not true, I was asked if I wanted to take it away... My meal was completely refunded, but it was still on the bill, no offer of an alternative or cancellation on the bill. What was missing in this case was a shrug of the shoulders. It's a shame and unfortunately not recommended at all. It can happen that something doesn't taste good, but then in my opinion it needs some kind of accommodation and not this ignorance. Das Sushi welches im Thekenbereich frisch zubereitet wird ist immer eine Augenweide Das Personal ist immer sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend und setzt jeden Wunsch um. Dishes from cheaper fried noodles to more expensive dishes. Also lots of vegi selection. Personally, I don't have the option to make an online reservation. The cutlery was being sorted when we were there today, which was unpleasant, but it didn't happen the other times. Announced a friend's birthday. I was allowed to bring my own cake and there was a birthday card from the team, which I thought was very sweet, thank you :)

There is something here for everyone who likes Asian. The food has been great every time so far. I've probably been here over 10 times. And every time I find a new culinary experience.

We made a reservation for Friday evening because it was recommended to us by friends. Heard a lot of good things, you have to try them out. Table was reserved first impression was ok. Restaurant fully booked. Quite loud inside and you sit quite close to each other. Waiters all very friendly. Both sushi and the main course were delicious. I personally missed the wow effect, which is why I gave it 4 stars. In terms of price, there were a lot of Swiss customers in the upper range that evening. The proximity to the border is always noticeable. I thought it was a shame that the rice was charged separately if you wanted it again. I didn't have enough rice in the small bowl for the main course.

Very friendly service and lightning-fast service – you feel welcome! The restaurant is a typical border restaurant: the quality is solid, although my pork had a hint of an “old” smell - but I'll leave it that way. The only downer: The restaurant is well equipped, but just frosty - turn on the radiator? Given the prices, the warmth should easily be included.

The food tasted delicious and was served quickly and taken away just as quickly. Will definitely come back here! Dishes: Vitnam. Starters - was extremely tasty and very diverse Crunchy sushi rolls sake and ebi - 6 pieces each were great and just enough. Dessert - Mochis were a bit small and mango sticky rice was unfortunately not like in Thailand but still very tasty :-)! Plus two Cola Zero. Total 84€ totally okay!

We've always been happy so far, but this time it wasn't really so. Had tom kha gai soup and it was extremely sweet. The curry with coconut milk also tasted like the soup, only thicker. It's a shame because we really enjoy going there. But we will happily stay as guests.

Very tasty food but not cheap by German standards 75 euros for 2 people a starter 2 main course without dessert 3 drinks without alcohol.

Good and fast service. Lighting a bit dim. Pleasant atmosphere in a former "post-war inn" with lots of dark wooden paneling. The food marked as spicy was mild and, like the other food, unfortunately rather tasteless and not Chinese. Luckily the missing spices were not replaced with soy or something similar. Paying €63 for 2 people with 2 drinks is not appropriate and too expensive. I don't know what it's like at the other branches.

This is a really good and nice restaurant. From the outside, you wouldn't say that this is a good place to have dinner. It's a bit outside the city center. We had a few apetizers and 2 maindishes. It was so fresh and tastfull! The staff is very friendly and welcoming. This is worth the try if you stay in Lörrach.

Excellent Asian cuisine. Currently one of the best addresses in the region for me. The team around Ali and Max were excellent hosts. Even a small misunderstanding during the recording was resolved without any problems. The Xiu Mai are a poem and the sushi is just as fresh as you could wish for. Gladly again and again. I have a small suggestion for improvement: the main course sometimes came so quickly that we didn't even finish eating our starters. Beautifully decorated Asian-fusion restaurant. (Vietnam meets Thailand) Service is quick and friendly, we received our starter just 10 minutes later after ordering. The stuffed betel leaves and peanut sauce are EXTREMELY delicious, highly recommended! Spring rolls a bit bland, even with Nuoc Mam. The mint or other herbs were missing :( The Nems were good. Sushi and California Rolls were rolled well and cleanly. Very nicely presented. The red curry (with chicken strips) was far too soft for my taste. It lacks the spiciness that you are looking for in a RedThai curry - I had the impression that I was eating chicken with a very mild Tom Kha sauce - the coconut milk was far too dominant - there was also a lack of spiciness and spices here. The vegetarian part of the menu, which is really very rich, is highly praiseworthy.

Unser erstes Mal in diesem Restaurant. Wir sind dort hingegangen, weil die Bewertungen sehr gut waren. Die Erwartungen waren hoch. Wir bestellten Gyoza, was gut war, und Frühlingsrollen, die akzeptabel schmeckten, nichts Außergewöhnliches. Die Nr. 35 Reisnudel mit Knusprigen Hühnerfleisch, das einzig Gute war das Hähnchen. Der Deko-Salat am Tellerrand bleibt übrig, ebenso die mit Salat vermischte Minze am Boden. Ich konnte es nicht beenden. Ein anderes Gericht, das wir probiert haben, das Sushi, gehört nicht zu den besten, die ich je gegessen habe. Ohne Zweifel ein Samstagabend mit schlechtem Essen. Der Kellner fragte nicht einmal, ob das Essen gut sei, als er den ganzen Teller sah. Fazit: irgendein Restaurant.

Asiatisches Restaurant unweit des Zentrums. Die Auswahl an Gerichten ist gut, die Qualität der Soesen ebenfalls, der Service ist schnell, freundlich und aufmerksam, die Preise sind nicht gerade günstig und die Einrichtung und das Ambiente sind angenehm. Abzüge gibt es, wenn man in der Nähe des Eingangs sitzt. Das Kommen und Gehen der Gäste bringt Unruhe und speziell im Winter die Zugluft hinterm Vorhang ebenfalls.
