Sen Garden in Wedemark

We went to Sen Garden for the 4th time today. As always, the food is delicious and very fresh. Requests are taken into account. Service very accommodating. Nice cozy atmosphere. Highly recommended! :)

Failed in all categories. We had duck peanut, fried noodles with baked chicken, crab claws, spring rolls. Delivery time 2h. The specified time was 1 hour. Starters were almost completely cold. Main courses were warm but not hot. Everything tastes very bad. The crab claws were particularly disappointing. The peanut sauce was very watery. The fried noodles were very oily. Overall very disappointing.

You try another Asian restaurant and you're amazed. The food in this restaurant has little to do with Asian cuisine. Not only is it massively Germanized, it is also poorly prepared. Ordered were: Wonton soup Tom K(h)a Gai soup (supposedly spicy) Crispy duck Tom Kha (supposedly also spicy) I specially ordered the zucchini, which, according to an employee, is included in almost every dish. My wish was also implemented. But how?! The vegetables in the soups and the main course consisted of cauliflower, carrot, onion, beans, mushrooms and a bunch of peppers. There were a few bean sprouts in the main course. What's Asian about that? And what is Asian about zucchini? These are mainly ingredients for side dishes for a German Sunday roast, which in this case were poured over with soup. All that was missing were the potato dumplings. What was a mess, however, was that the sauce for "Duck Tom Kha" was simply the "Tom Ka Gai" soup, without the vegetables. It wasn't a sauce, but liquid soup. The bigger mess was the "Wan Tan Soup", which was inedible and ended up in the trash. Instead of making real soup wontons and putting them in the broth (there is a difference in batter between wontons for soup and wontons for frying), you simply threw the already fried wontons into the broth. The whole soup tasted like old fryer fat and the consistency of the soggy fried wontons was just disgusting. I finally found something Asian. Coriander was in the tom kha gai. And the spices were Asian too. 2* for the food, because the Tom Kha Gai actually tasted good, except for the unnecessary and untypical vegetables, which have no place in a Tom Kha Gai. The duck actually tasted good too, if there had been a sauce and if it hadn't been lying on a bed of mixed German vegetables. The wonton soup is a complete accident and should not have been sold as is. And spicy?! The Tom Kha Gai was spicy but far from spicy. The main course wasn't even spicy. 3* for the ambience and service. Since I was in the restaurant on site, I can say that it is very nicely decorated. At first it looks cozy and tidy. But you could clean the windows and remove the half-hidden leftovers from the last buffet. And you don't have to load the table in front of the checkout with unfolded napkins if there are already napkins everywhere on the tables. All in all, this "Asian" restaurant is not worth a second visit and is completely overpriced for the quality it offers. I'm assuming, based on the 139 items on the menu, that they don't cook fresh here. In any case, it wasn't my food.

Large, modern, bright restaurant. No guests on Wednesday at 12 p.m. Cheap lunch menu, unfortunately only lukewarm as it was served on cold plates. Service with 4 guests was already overwhelmed. What happens when all tables are occupied? Price/performance is right.

Was there for the first time. Food was delicious. Will definitely go again. I can only recommend it.

The restaurant area is spacious and airy. The staff arranged a table for four people by the window. The food was delicious and the ingredients were fresh.

The food is not of consistent quality. Sometimes it's a disaster and sometimes it's edible, but I've never had good food here. In my opinion, the 5-star reviews are fake or from friends or something. Dear restaurant owners, the kitchen must be clean, the food must not taste old or smell strange. Unfortunately everything is a problem for you. Sorry, never again.

Our family sometimes comes here to eat, the buffet price is quite affordable, and there are many dishes that my children love. The food here is always fresh all day long.

And really liked it. Tastes better than other Chinese restaurants. You can taste that a lot of things are freshly prepared here. We'll be back :)

This was my second time there and I really enjoyed it both times. A pleasant atmosphere with pleasant music in the background. All clean. Friendly service and most importantly: super delicious food! The shrimp and the summer rolls are particularly noteworthy at the buffet!

The food is good. I took the buffet, but in hindsight I would have preferred to order a la carte. But everyone has to test this for themselves. Everything works well via Lieferando. Now that it's very hot, it feels warmer in the restaurant than outside. Then I'll just drink more 😀

Good and cheap opportunity to eat Asian food in Wedemark. The buffet for €19 is recommended. Unfortunately, only cash payment is possible and, as an emergency solution, Paypal.

It was great when we ate buffet at Vuon Sen. This place is truly like a culinary paradise. The dishes are prepared shortly before opening time, taste fresh and are neatly prepared.

We just ate at this restaurant this afternoon. I reserved a table in advance and got a comfortable seat. There are many dishes, clearly arranged and extremely eye-catching. I was pretty impressed with the salmon sushi, they were fresh and had a great dipping sauce.

I really like this place because I like the rolls here, they are delicious and the sauces that come with them are delicious.

A complete disappointment - a delivery time of 30-55 minutes was shown, the delivery was there after 2 1/2 hours after multiple calls. After an hour I called and was told the driver was on his way (a 5 minute journey). After the 4th call they said the food had to be remade and was now being delivered. An outrage! Not good in taste either, too bad. Never again!

The restaurant cannot compete with other establishments. The buffet offering is “just about there”. There are no sauces for meat and poultry. The signage is inadequate or completely missing. Our rating is still generously positive.

Unfortunately we didn't like it. The spring roll starter was cold. The beef and duck were tough. The fried noodles and vegetables with the beef were one and the same taste. The waiter was inattentive and didn't even ask if we wanted another drink. There was no ambience. Nothing has changed since the Chinese restaurant. We won't be coming back.

We went to the buffet for the first time to try out the restaurant. We ordered twice and were actually really satisfied. Unfortunately things were different on site. The buffet was comparatively small, but at least quite cheap, so it was OK. However, the meat was completely dried out and basically impossible to eat without sauce. The shrimp weren't really cooked and weren't tasty either. However, the prepared dishes in sauce were delicious, especially the fried noodles were really good. Nevertheless, I would not repeat the visit. If I want to eat an Asian buffet, I'd rather spend a few euros more for more choice and, above all, fresher meat. The ambience was also disappointing. There are too many tables in the room for the small dining room. This can be understood for economic reasons, but the atmosphere is really not nice.

Four of us ate here. The food was very good! My family particularly liked the duck meat. The waiter was very friendly and can answer questions. My request to leave out the coriander was also honored. I would be happy to come back and try other dishes too. Unfortunately the music was too loud and the same song played constantly. But that can be easily remedied. Therefore only 4 stars for the ambience. But still it was very nicely decorated and very clean. I will gladly come again.

Today we tried the Asian buffet at Sen Garden for the first time. We had already read the positive posts and wanted to see them for ourselves. We were there right when it opened on a Friday at 5:30 p.m. The buffet was just being set up. The dishes were fresh and a real culinary delight. There was everything your heart could desire. Sushi, summer rolls, duck, red curry, fried salmon, vegetables, spring rolls, soup, even calamari, fried noodles, mango salad, various desserts and much more. The whole thing only cost €19.50. This is really sensational for a meal of this quality and variety!!! We often go out for Asian food in other cities, and this buffet is now one of our favorites. The service was also very friendly. Everyone was very committed and tried to set up the buffet for us as quickly as possible. It's great to have such an offer directly in Wedemark!

Today I've been waiting 1.5 hours for my order. After I called, I was told that delivery would take 70-80 minutes.

I ordered online and received an order confirmation directly by email. When I went to pick up, I was told that the online orders weren't even arriving at the restaurant. So I had to order on site and wait. In addition, the prices had increased compared to the online card and card payment was also not possible. The food was ok, but with the service I won't go there again!

Picked up food. No card payment possible on the day. All the windows are completely fogged up and the atmosphere is not inviting. In terms of price I found it expensive 3x soup 3x bridal noodles 55€. Neither of us liked the soups (but they were hot). The pasta had a wrong sauce and the taste wasn't great. We ate there before Corona and unfortunately had the same experience. Not again.

The lunch was rich, tasty and fresh. Price-performance is right. We'll be ordering again soon.

The food is really very good. Then why only three stars? Because the infrastructure for orders via the website/ Lieferando and telephone is simply not possible. Nobody answers the phone. You can order AND pay via the website, but it is probably not sent internally, so you have to wait another 20-25 minutes for the food on site. Lieferando is probably no longer possible, although ordering and paying is still possible there and you then have to worry about the refund.

My enthusiasm is limited. Mediocre food in a wet biotope with service that could clearly be improved.

The food is really excellent. But the service is subpar. We have ordered here several times and it has never worked out. Sometimes food was missing, sometimes sauces, sometimes delivery took more than 2 hours. Today our order was simply forgotten. Unfortunately only recommended if you really have a lot of time and can accept poor service.

The taste is basically good. The rice is dry to hard and is probably prepared and then reheated uncovered. With beef, the silver skin is not removed, you can't chew it, you have to spit it out again. The ingredients are not shown on the menu. The numbers are written next to the dishes, but there is no explanation for them. What does number 2 mean, for example????? This is actually MANDATORY in GERMANY.

It was my first and last visit. I ordered beef with vegetables. The vegetables consisted of cauliflower and green beans, both of which sank into the sauce. The beef was tough like leather, sometimes even stringy. Unfortunately there was no response to my complaint about the meat, not even an apology. I cannot recommend the restaurant. Not suitable for wheelchair users as there are high steps in the entrance area. Toilet access and toilet space are much too narrow and too cramped.

We ordered food. A delivery time of 60 minutes was already announced that it would be 1.5 hours. OK. After almost 2 hours we called. It would still take about 45 minutes. Another call, 20-25 minutes instead of 45. We said that we no longer needed to eat at 11 p.m. So another 20 minutes, okay. It's now been 3 hours since I ordered, I'm being pushed away on the phone and there's no food in sight. Thanks for nothing. Never again.

Actually good...but...disappointing today! As always, eat tel. pre-ordered. Pick up in 30 minutes. We were told on the phone. A meal should be made a little spicier. When we arrived at the agreed time, the food was not yet ready, but was still being prepared, even though there were hardly any tables occupied. But I was allowed to pay. Small shock, everything is 1-2 € more expensive than shown on the map. So we continued to wait, no chair was offered and certainly not a drink to bridge the waiting time. When the food was unpacked at home (we used an extra transport basket to keep it warm), the vegetable soup, which is actually included with lunch and included in the price, was missing. The food was also not spicy at all, even though we requested it beforehand. Sorry guys, I worked in the catering industry for years and it all doesn't work together!

10 of us ate in the restaurant on Sunday. We ate Mien Xao Tom (glass noodles with shrimp), fried shrimp, and summer rolls. Upon request, we were also given Tequila Sunrise to drink. Top service, every extra wish was fulfilled!

Unfortunately I can't say anything about the food. Our reservation was ignored! The reason given was that other guests showed up with more people than stated and our table was no longer available. Sorry but that doesn't work at all. This restaurant won't see me again.

Where do you start? The first thing you notice when you enter the restaurant is the ancient Asbach inventory. At the table you lose your appetite for the first time. Various guests have already left the tablecloths, and you can already see the menu from the last few months on them. Hair, dirt and leftover food were found under the sauce-covered placemats. The glasses were completely dirty, as were every piece of cutlery and the plates. Some things at the buffet were ok, but the fact that there was no new cutlery was a bit difficult at times. I don't want to eat my dessert with a sushi fork. Most of the dishes on the buffet were cold, which is not ideal when it comes to fish. All in all it was the first and last visit. You can't get any quality here Speak area. Likewise, a moldy blanket contributes to you, not to you feeling of well-being.

Pho Bo bestellt, Fleisch war sauer und die Suppe schmeckte wir Abwaschwasser, wobei es auch so ausgesehenhat. Daher dann auch scharfes Rindfleisch abbestellt. Dann Bratnudeln bestellt, leider schwammen diese dann in Öl. Leider nicht zu empfehlen!

Essen sieht sehr gut aus und schmeckt vorzüglich. Allerdings sollte man etwas Zeit mitbringen falls man spontan dahin möchte.

Sehr freundliche Personal am Telefon. Das Essen war noch warm trotz der Kälte, und das Essen war sehr lecker 😋. Ich kann es nur weiterempfehlen.
