Absolutely recommended! Very tasty and good quality! Price/performance ratio is great! Small criticism: I missed fruit.

Unfortunately I can't rate the food at Beans. We actually wanted to eat there today, but the miserable service put a damper on our plans. My cold starter, mixed salad, was served after 3/4 hour. The bottled beer we ordered was brought after 15 minutes. After 1 hour our food was still not nearly ready for us to eat any time soon. So we drove back hungry. That was the first and last attempt to eat there today. Many other guests were also upset. However, we were the only ones who had the courage to go.

Where should we start, from the food, service to the Althof family! Simply everything is great! We like to eat there because it's super fresh and delicious, but there are also opportunities for our two girls to play and children are welcome there. We also celebrated our wedding there (barn) from the first meeting to our big day, everything was always uncomplicated, super friendly and there were always a few tips included! THANKS ! Our guests were all thrilled and I think there will be a few more “regular” customers 😊 But the service team with Kai at our wedding also needs to be mentioned, they were all super attentive, friendly and played along with every joke! At brunch about three weeks ago I would have recommended this restaurant without reservation, but unfortunately I have had to go there since yesterday, September 1st. 24 row back a bit.... the (young!!) staff was probably a bit overwhelmed??!! After the delicious meal we asked for a dessert menu, all the desserts were not cheap...ice cream menu! The request was first brought and only later were we informed that there would also be a cake buffet from 2 p.m....my dessert for €10.30 didn't taste good at all (there were three other guests at my table who tried it). it worked that way too!! I would have been grateful if the staff had mentioned the cake buffet... Then I would have simply had a choice... Well, bad luck...I'll be wiser next time...

What a great, loving restaurant. We were able to stay here with the motorhome for free. Lots of very creative and delicious vegan/vegetarian dishes and the husband was also very happy with his schnitzel. We felt completely at home, thank you for the lovely evening.

We found this restaurant almost by chance. There are primarily vegetarian and vegan dishes, but also matjes, schnitzel and burgers. We found completely new menus on the menu and found that everything tasted great. The waiter was very friendly and cheerful. He then enthusiastically showed us all the rooms in the old farm. Today we had dinner at our wedding location again on the occasion of our wedding anniversary and it was simply extremely delicious! First of all there was a delicious greeting from the kitchen. As a starter we shared the starter variation, which was explained in detail by the waitress and was varied and delicious! For the main course I had a double cheeseburger, which is also highly recommended, but I regret not just choosing one of the great vegan/vegetarian dishes. My wife had a vegan Greek gyros (the meat substitute here was a fruit) and that was also delicious! At the end there was a brownie plate, but check out the pictures for yourself!

Ate very tasty, imaginative dishes in a traditional setting. And at the same time lived completely meat-free and didn't miss anything. Tastes great!

This restaurant and location is run with so much love. The service staff is relaxed and incredibly warm and tries to fulfill your every wish! The food is fantastic and also incredibly tasty for anyone who otherwise finds meat important. Everyone really gets their money's worth here. If you are looking for a wedding venue where you feel in good hands, then you should definitely say yes to the location!

You wouldn't have expected such an innovative range of vegetarian and vegan dishes out here in the village. The “experimental kit” is particularly recommended. It's best to order the main course afterwards and take the impressions of the starter into account. Meat and fish eaters are also in good hands here. Almost all of the ingredients are organic.

We celebrated our wedding in the Beans barn and loved the Beans from start to finish. During the initial consultation, all the components of a wedding celebration were explained to us transparently and understandably. Rehearsal dinners and organizational arrangements went smoothly. The celebration itself was a complete success. We received many compliments on the location and food. Allergies were well catered for. If you are looking for a wedding location with character and fantastic food, this is the right place. Many thanks to the whole team for this wonderful experience! The "normal" food in the restaurant is also delicious, service is good and friendly.

If I want to go to a beer garden, it should be uncomplicated. It was more than complicated there. We had to wait until we were shown a free table (of many). The card was only brought when called, as was the order. We let you know, this person had to tell another person. Unfortunately, we notice this every now and then and make us avoid the location and would really like a relaxed atmosphere (in the Wedemark) to just drink a beer... phew, tiring. And the food is really quite good, but the service is difficult. The rating for the ambience refers to outside. It's very nice inside.

It was amazing how arrogantly we were treated because we didn't stay on the pitch as instructed, but instead wanted to take the drinks with us to the climbing frame. The gentleman behind the bar was so condescending and unfriendly that we left. The reason for not being the playground of Wedemark is understandable, but please not in that tone.

The concept, the employees, the food, the interior design - everything here is lovingly thought out and you can tell that a lot of passion goes into the implementation. We were here with my parents and my father liked the vegetarian gyros so much that he didn't even miss meat - a huge success!

At the buffet, the food was often out of stock and you had to wait until it was refilled. The warm food was okay, but rather boring for me. Otherwise everyone was very nice and it's a great atmosphere. I'll come back and then like to order something from the menu.

We celebrated our outdoor wedding at Beans in May and it was just perfect. A free wedding ceremony on the meadow was very important to us and Beans made it possible at very short notice despite the changeable weather conditions. We are very grateful. It was also important to us that the menu was purely vegan and this was easily implemented. The food was great, we were particularly impressed by the starters and desserts. The ambience was equally beautiful. The newly renovated barn is beautifully furnished and has a very special style. All in all we felt we were in good hands. We felt well supported throughout the entire process, questions were answered quickly, every one of our wishes was tried to be made possible and the service at the celebration was also great. The food was ok, if you want vegan, this is the right place, selection ok. What really bothered me was that it was very shabby, old furniture could be nice, but it was mostly broken and worn out, sad. Walls could also use some paint. We went there for the first time because of an advertisement in the newspaper. A very pretty farmhouse, with a nice beer garden. Very appealing atmosphere. We were also impressed by reading the menu...hence the trip there. Unfortunately I'm not convinced of the price-performance ratio... We had a mixed starter plate (two slices of eggplant, three slices of zucchini, two mushrooms, a few wheels of carrot, three small pieces of pepper, garnished with a little rocket for just under 14 euros) ... which I think is really overpriced. My main course was cauliflower wings fried in a tempura coating...unfortunately they were then coated in barbecue sauce, which made them look like wings, but they weren't crispy at all...a shame. The menu said: Cauliflower wings with fascinating spices, with barbecue sauce and sweet potato fries. Unfortunately, the wings were now also on top of the fries...which meant they were rather soggy. The waitress responded to my criticism in a friendly manner. However, there was no concession. My husband's burger was ok. Unfortunately the meat patty was well done, We would definitely come by again to have a beer, but not to eat.

Were there for brunch. At 10:30 almost everything was eaten and only a little was refilled. We had to wait a long time for service staff. Guests were sent away in front of our eyes, even though outside and inside were free.

We weren't at the restaurant, we were at Beans as part of a job at a wedding reception. Everything was lovingly decorated. Every employee was friendly, extremely attentive and accommodating without being overly present. The buffet-style food was beautifully arranged, neither overcooked nor cold and lovingly prepared with absolutely fresh ingredients. After this experience we will definitely visit the restaurant too. The journey is definitely worth it!

We spontaneously went here for dinner on a Friday evening. Mostly vegetarian, vegan cuisine. There is also a small selection for meat eaters. We had schnitzel and an asparagus dish. Both incredibly delicious. The dessert was incredibly good. The dog was also allowed into the cozy country inn and was the first to be looked after. We will definitely accept the hour it costs us to get there again.

Organic restaurant in a beautiful location. In terms of price, the Sunday brunch is currently in the normal price range at 30 euros including hot drinks. The food was good, but not more for me personally. The dishes were rather unimaginative and standard. Based on the many very good reviews, I was expecting something more special. Especially for the vegetarians and vegans, the offer was not what was expected. No special types of cheese, fried eggs or anything like that. There were no muffins or anything like that either. Basically I don't have a problem with that, but if it's advertised that vegans and vegetarians get their money's worth, I would have expected a little more choice in this regard. What stood out, however, was the fresh bread and croissants. Unfortunately, many foods were always sold out quickly, so the kitchen couldn't really keep up with restocking. Which was to be expected given the sold-out brunch. But everyone was full 😁 Because the restaurant is very dog-friendly and four-legged friends are also allowed in the restaurant, there was a bit of a hectic moment when two of them didn't really like each other and expressed it loudly. Otherwise, it is definitely recommended to reserve a table. When we were there, almost all tables were reserved and occupied at peak time. Conclusion: The price is completely okay, the ambience is nice, but something is still missing for the 5th star.

Very sad - I've heard several times how unfriendly and listless the restaurant is. Today I personally had the experience myself. As a welcome we were “shouted” to go where we wanted to go. We couldn't get anything with several people - nobody wanted to eat anything, just a coffee or a drink. The beer garden was empty - clearly no one was in the mood here. I have never met anything so unfriendly. They didn't want us like that and we were turned away. Other guests at the entrance could only shake their heads.

Just wow and 5*! Vegans/vegetarians can have a great meal here. But people who eat meat will certainly get their money's worth too. From the service to the taste of the food, everything was great. I'm really more than thrilled. I haven't been to a restaurant in ages where you could eat so well and the service was so good, without long waiting times and there was genuine friendliness. Out of a spontaneous idea, because of the unusual vegan/vegetarian dishes, I (as a meat lover) just wanted to try something different and would forego my usual steak for this meal at any time.

Beans has a great selection of vegetarian and vegan dishes that are really unusual, creative and beautifully presented. The staff is also very attentive and professional! There are also traditionally cloth napkins, which are rarely available these days. Overall, a really great restaurant where modern food meets a rustic atmosphere. Absolute recommendation! (For absolute meat eaters, you can still find a few meat and fish dishes on the menu ;))

I've been eating out 2-3 times a month for about 20 years. I've known bad, good and very good restaurants, but this was awesome. The staff was extremely nice, but not intrusive at all. The restaurant has a main focus on vegan and organic, but that doesn't mean that non-vegans are forgotten, there are also some dishes for meat and fish eaters. I ate mussels with sweet potato fries and wasabi mayonnaise. There was a damp cloth included so you could clean your hands nicely. The food was not only delicious, it was also beautifully presented. I can only recommend this restaurant, it is really a pleasure to eat there.

The experiment box as a starter was very tasty. Happy anticipation of the main course Popeye spinach dumplings and the plate of bliss with tempeh. Unfortunately it didn't taste that good, there was a lack of spices and the tempeh was very floury. The spinach dumplings were described as juicy on the menu, unfortunately they were relatively dry

The breakfast was really delicious and was continually topped up. It's also nice that vegans can also find something and get their fill. The staff is very friendly and committed. My guests felt very comfortable and the first ones have already planned a stay there. Only the cheese selection was noticed as lacking. All in all, a very nice birthday brunch.

We had cauliflower wings and watermelon steak. Both edible but not to our taste. The consistency of the wings took a lot of getting used to. The BBQ sauce was awesome. The gratinated chili cheese fries could have had more flavor and more cheese.

Basically, the following still applies: a must in Wedemark with children! Finding good service employees is really not easy at this time. But what I don't think is possible is to rebuke your own employees inappropriately in front of your guests. This is really unpleasant.

Anyone who values ​​regional and organic food is in good hands there. The waitresses were always friendly and knew their food. I always enjoy going there to eat. Especially since the ambience also suits my taste. It's in a cute half-timbered house in a rural setting.

We celebrated our wedding reception at Beans in July 2023. Even the preliminary discussion and planning was very friendly and familiar. Everyone was very nice and helpful. The food was great. All guests were thrilled with the location. For us it was an unforgettable day. We can only recommend Beans and would be happy to come back.

The new autumn/winter menu is very varied and has many vegetarian dishes. There are also burgers and steak, but there are interesting ingredients here too. Something different and very tasty, for everyone who wants to try something different. Great ambience and cheerful staff.

Wir waren auf der Durchreise mit unserem Wohnmobil und standen dort auf einem großen Parkplatz, was absolut ok war. Die Hautspeise und der Nachtisch waren super lecker und sehr schön angerichtet. I had dinner here today with my family to try out the new menu. I have to say we were all a bit skeptical at first, but in the end we were more than convinced. From the taste to the presentation, to the service…everything is just great! There are really from to, vegetarian, vegan or with meat, everything is included and as a vegetarian I was particularly happy! Ich war das vierte Mal zum Brunch im Beans und ich muss leider sagen, dass das Essen jedes Mal nachteiliger wurde. Um nur einige Beispiele zu nennen: Die Croissants waren kaum gebacken und Konsistenz und Geschmack wie harter Teig. Im Glas mit den Sonnenblumenkernen fürs Müsli waren Netze bzw Fäden von Lebensmittelmotten. Ärgerlich, da es auch keine Mandeln oder Nüsse für Yogurt oder Müsli gab. Hinzu kam, dass die verschiedenen Öle alle abgelaufen waren und ranzig schmeckten. Leider wurde auf meine Hinweise gar nicht reagiert. Lediglich das Glas mit den Sonnenblumenkernen wurde weg gestellt und keine neuen hingestellt. Auch kein freundliches entschuldigendes Wort fiel. Das war besonders enttäuschend und darüber konnte auch das wohlschmeckende Rührei nicht weghelfen. Es tut mir leid, ich schreibe sonst nicht solche Berichte aber da auf meine direkte Ansprache nicht reagiert wurde, blieb mir nur dieser Weg. MfG

Wir haben am WE die Hochzeit unserer Tochter in der Location gefeiert. Alle vorbereitenden Gespräche liefen sehr unkompliziert und unterstützend ab. Das Essen war mega lecker!!! Bedienung, Getränke, Auf- und Abbau verlief ebenso richtig gut! Wir können diese Location zu 100% weiter empfehlen. (Veganer kommen ebenso vollkommen auf ihre Kosten 😋) LG W.S.

Coole Location, vor allem im Sommer mit Eseln, Spielplatz und Hüpfburg. Speisekarte ebenfalls top, Bio-Qualität und sogar mit Pflanzenmilch. Vom Sonntagsbrunch waren wir im Verhältnis allerdings enttäuscht - das Angebot ist durchschnittlich, für Veganer kaum Auswahl. Der Service war bei allen Besuchen absolut unterirdisch.. eine Mischung aus langen Wartezeiten, inkompetenten Antworten und unfreundlichen Kommentaren zur Begrüßung.. dadurch sind wir immer wieder hin und hergerissen, ob wir einen Besuch hier mal wieder riskieren wollen

Wir haben hier mit vielen Freunden zusammen einen sehr schönen 50. Geburtstag gefeiert. Sehr gutes Essen, sehr netter Service.

Uriger Ort zum Feiern in ländlicher Atmosphäre

Super Restaurant mit sehr guten Essen. Burger sehr gut, wenn's nicht unbedingt Fleisch sein muss, sind auch die veganen Pattys sehr zu empfehlen. Die Pommes waren die besten die ich seit langer Zeit hatte! Auch der Kuchen einwandfrei. Personal ist super freundlich. Bei warmen Temperaturen sitzt man schön draußen im Biergarten. Innen aber auch alles sehr hübsch eingerichtet.

Waren mit Freunden dort Essen und die Burger sind wirklich lecker!

Hier muss man mal gewesen sein. Wirklich sehr schönes Ambiente, ein aufmerksamer und freundlicher Umgang mit den Gästen und richtig leckeres Essen. Besser geht es kaum!

Das Essen war ok. Ich kann nichts schlechtes schreiben. Die Bedienung war genervt wollte lieber Ruhe. War auch etwas älter. Kuchen nichts veganes im Angebot. Schade. Es war nett mal dort gewesen zu sein, mehr aber auch nicht, wir werden nicht wieder kommen. Ist dafür zu weit weg.
