All other buffet items were quickly sold out, and nothing was replenished - the waiter in the area was rudely saying, "The food is acceptable for this hotel." We were a larger family group and were not satisfied, and we will never set foot in this hotel again 🙃🤨☹️😱

Great room, nice and friendly staff. Breakfast very basic. Conference rooms were good. Some were very warm on the sunny side. Generally a good hotel with a beautiful lakeside setting. Points of criticism from the last visit: At lunch (buffet) at 1 p.m., only vegan and vegetarian food was available. During the breaks, the Zero drinks were almost always empty throughout the day and were only refilled once, and were therefore immediately empty again. Especially when there are many large groups in the seminar area, there are no delicious snacks left during the morning and afternoon breaks, and if you don't take a break in time, you have to make do with the leftovers. This is much better organized at other seminar hotels (not one large snacking area, but several smaller ones for each seminar individually. Alternatively, refills should be made in between, so it's not a case of whoever takes the break first gets the best snacks.) Accordingly, the coffee machine was permanently full with a long line. I've been here several times and 9 out of 10 times everything went well, no idea what happened this time.

The room is fine. What's annoying is the water pressure in room 339. It's impossible to get the water to be too hot or too cold, and it takes forever to get the foam off. And that's unacceptable in my opinion. The breakfast is excellent, hence the three-star rating. The staff is very attentive and friendly.

We celebrated our golden wedding anniversary in the hotel and are very satisfied. The food was very good. Our guests were also thrilled. The hotel is also very nice and the staff are all very friendly and accommodating.

We spent a weekend at the Seminaris Hotel Potsdam. Overall, we had the impression that “as a guest you are a nuisance”. Customer service: We didn't find the check-in particularly friendly. A few service staff in the bar/restaurant were a friendly exception. Mini-bar: The compartment where the refrigerator is located as expected is screwed shut. You can get a refrigerator on wheels rolled into the middle of your room if you pay 22 euros for it. In theory you get a few drinks and snacks in return. But most of the drinks (white wine) were sold out and snacks were not available. Hotel and rooms The hotel and the rooms are clean, but of the 90s standard. The bar and restaurant do not exude a lot of cosiness. The hotel overall needs a renovation. Room service: Room service is only available upon request. You won't be told this personally at check-in. Only posted on a board - but who always reads all the boards when checking in?

Our family meets once a year in a larger group for four days in a hotel. Despite several nice requests, we were not allowed to have breakfast together (no table reservation was possible and the opening of another room with a visibly perfect family table was rejected on the grounds that it would be too much work for the staff. We later saw that the room had been opened.) That's not possible, we won't be coming back and can't recommend the hotel. Broken coffee machine and broken elevator are only mentioned here in passing.

I've been there for the second time now. The rooms are clean, the staff is very friendly and the lake nearby is a great place to relax.

Absolute disaster. As a married couple, we booked a double room for 3 days/295. The bed was against the wall, so that at the age of 81 you were forced to crawl out at the foot of the bed at night without a light source. We only found out when we asked that the rooms weren't cleaned. Citing climate protection as a reason seems to us to be a cheap excuse to save personnel costs, once again at the expense of the guest. We were looking forward to a special hotel and experienced an ordinary hotel that was left with rather negative memories afterwards. Worth mentioning is the helpful Mr. Dittm... who took the time to help us in detail. Answer to your feedback: "If climate protection is more important than the needs of the guest, then you should also mention when booking that the rooms will not be cleaned for 3 days.

A hotel in an excellent location and theoretically the best conditions. But unfortunately that was it. There is a gym with no weights, there is a lunch buffet where you can't get any more meat at 1 p.m. because everything is supposedly gone, and I don't recommend taking a room facing the restaurant garden, otherwise you could end up hearing loud music and bass at 1 a.m. on a Thursday night despite the windows being closed, turning night into day. If you then want to dial the specified telephone number on the Internet, you will of course not be able to get anyone to answer the phone. Then you notice the hotel's own telephone, but there is no information about speed dial buttons or similar explanations for contacting the reception. So the night quickly turns into day and you're already completely tired and looking forward to attending the seminar the next day. Congratulations, never again!

The hotel is basically quite good. The rooms are clean and nicely decorated. The staff tries to fulfill all your wishes. The pool and sauna area are clean and function perfectly. The location is great right on the lake with its own pier/jetty. Only the gastronomy makes me deduct a star. Breakfast is okay and full. But dinner is a simple catering buffet which is completely overpriced. When asked why there is no à la cart food, as it says on the homepage, there are only snappy answers like: "You can start working as a chef here if you want..." with an annoyed mood. Tip: just pay reasonable wages in the catering industry and the kitchen will come to you again ;) Conclusion: We would come again.

I have been a guest at this beautiful hotel twice with my family. A beautiful area here. The hotel right on the water with a water taxi to Potsdam. Many excursions are possible to Werder or to Berlin Sanssouci Palace etc. You don't need a car, everything is also possible by public transport. Everything was great in the hotel itself, the staff were very polite and attentive. Breakfast very rich and varied. Everything else is okay too. The seminar hotel can only be highly recommended. We'll definitely be back.

Location top...hotel pretty run down...broken furniture...broken windows...everything seems kind of dingy...rooms are only cleaned if you announce this a day in advance. For the sake of the environment... you can only shake your head.

A hotel where value for money is right. It's not that new anymore, but is probably carefully maintained on a regular basis. Room perfectly fine, although without minibar?! Sauna, pool, leisure room available. Regarding the leisure room: everything urgently needs to be renewed, darts, billiards are all very old and broken. Breakfast completely normal selection, from sausage to sweets. All in one: top location, large parking lot (underground), located in nature, good breakfast.

Mid-range hotel from where you can easily explore Potsdam and the surrounding area. The hotel has a large underground car park where you can also park your bikes. Some of the rooms are renovated, some are even older. Unfortunately we had an older room, a cupboard was screwed shut. Otherwise functional, the mosquito nets in front of the windows were very good! The hotel has restaurants with an outdoor terrace and a bar that is open until 11 p.m. in the evenings. Good value for money there. Friendly, attentive service! We will probably book this hotel again, location is good!

Beautiful quiet corner - very idyllic

Rooms are old. Children's bed is unsafe with many metal parts. Our child was hurt by this. Toilet in the room was smelly. Beds were mediocre. The location and other amenities were great! Food was really of lower quality. Price quality is not worth it. The hotel should not cost more than 90 euros per night. Anything you pay more than that really gets you screwed. This is because you have to pay extra for parking (14 euros), as well as sports and wellness (6 euros). Dinner in the evening, which is not special at all, costs (31 euros). There is no water boiler in the rooms, even if they know that you are coming with a baby who is still bottle-fed. Real boiled water is not available in the hotel. A bottle of water is also not provided, you have to buy this extra. Children's chairs at breakfast are dirty and not cleaned after use. If you choose the suite you pay the top price, but the room is certainly no more special than a standard room.

The “better” seminar in room B/BB. Much more relaxed than in Berlin, staff in a good mood and very pleasant even in large groups.

Totally friendly staff, absolutely dog-friendly, great location, with indoor pool, sauna, fitness room, bowling and much more. The food is very good, the facilities are comfortable and right on the beach. Price/performance great

We were very happy with the hotel. Really recommended for a short vacation. Quiet rooms, rich breakfast and a nice wellness area.

Rooms were great Stayed from April 4th to April 6th. there. The gentleman on the night shift was very listless and unfriendly. Otherwise everyone was very friendly. You have to consider underground parking, but outside parking is only possible on the street. At night you can hear the trains very loudly if the window is open. Very nice walk along the lake. Breakfast with a good selection and is replenished relatively quickly. You can buy jewelry, sweets, savories and drinks from the vending machine. Unfortunately no coffee or tea.

Good seminar hotel, the rooms were clean and the staff was friendly. The service in the restaurant and at the bar was quick. The food was okay and the care during the seminar was good. The quiet, remote location also makes it possible to relax in nature after the events.

Good rooms, nice staff, good location

The hotel appears to have once been an old retirement home or hospital, but has been painstakingly and tastefully furnished. I was able to travel easily by car and liked the short route through the forest. The location is ok if you are mobile. I would like to positively highlight the small sauna and the pool in the basement. Almost all of the service staff, especially the reception, were super friendly. Unfortunately there are deductions for breakfast and the breakfast service. At 10 a.m. sharp, the coffee machine is immediately turned off. When I wanted to take a second coffee to my room at 10:04 a.m., I was almost told that I now had to pay for it. That doesn't work at all. But the man generally looked very frustrated and unmotivated. The breakfast could be fresher. Overall, it's still a place where you can arrive well and feel comfortable.

Unfortunately there is no refrigerator in the room. The sauna and swimming pool cost €5 per day. You can reach many beautiful areas on foot.

The location is good, all important destinations can be reached quickly. The service concept should be reconsidered by the owner and management. The breakfast is lowest category and not recommended. The wellness area is good, but if you advertise it, no additional fees should be charged for it, even if it is only a few euros.

Yes, it's very nice, it was very nicely located outside. What could definitely be expanded upon would be “corporate fashion”. Standing behind a reception desk in a track jacket or other sports clothes doesn't help the rest of the ambience. Education and training for EMPLOYEES would also be an advantage for cocktails. Otherwise you can use the hotel, among other things. Highly praised for his ssrh good and delicious breakfast. Gladly again. We also visited the Seminars Hotel in Berlin Dahlem.

5 stars We stayed at the Seminaris Seehotel for one night because we were taking part in further training at the Olympic training center - and we couldn't have wished for a better place! The hotel is idyllically located right by the lake and the forest, perfect for switching off after a long day. Our room was modern, clean and small, but absolutely sufficient and very comfortable. The entire ambience was calm and inviting. The stay was pleasant all around – we would love to come back!

The rooms are OK and the hotel is beautifully located in the countryside and by the lake. Nevertheless, I unfortunately have to say that there are also unfriendly staff there. On the last day we got lunch, but I have to say that it was a disgrace that we had to pay for this. The duck legs were burnt black and the meat was inedible. The dumplings and red cabbage were cold, so it was cheeky to offer something like that there as food. Even when we asked if we could get dinner instead of warm dinner, we were shouted at, no, there isn't, that's not exactly nice. Furthermore, the Y Gastronomy is only open until 11 p.m., the question is why. M.f.g

The perfect place for a successful seminar 🤩

I stayed at the Semiramis Hotel in Potsdam and overall had a mixed experience. The room was a little smaller than expected, but still clean and well maintained. The furnishings seemed a bit outdated, but were functional. The staff was very friendly and helpful, which made the stay more pleasant. The location of the hotel is good and the overall atmosphere is quiet. Additional services such as bike rental are practical, but rather expensive. For example, an e-bike costs €40 per day, which I think is a bit too expensive. So if you value such extras, you should plan the costs in advance. Overall a solid hotel for a short stay, but the value for money could be better in some places.

It's a good hotel. We particularly liked the service. The bowling alley is great and so is the pool area. Unfortunately, this wellness area (pool and sauna) has to be paid extra (€6 per adult). The breakfast was good. We felt very comfortable and were able to move into the room earlier. Thanks for the friendly service!

I stayed at the Seminaris Seehotel Potsdam for one night (room 141) and had an overall pleasant stay with minor issues. The free upgrade deserves special mention: I had booked a single room and was given a double room for single occupancy – a really nice service. The hotel's location, directly on Lake Templin, is beautiful and quiet, ideal for unwinding. The breakfast was also plentiful, fresh, and delicious. The staff was consistently friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, there were a few weaknesses in room 141: The sliding shower doors were broken, and the water pressure was so weak that it was difficult to shower properly. Additionally, the free Wi-Fi was very unstable – the connection kept dropping out. For one night, the stay was fine. With a functioning shower and stable Wi-Fi, the hotel would have performed much better. Therefore, I give it 3 out of 5 stars – with room for improvement.

Service quite okay. Booked a sauna but it wasn't on. At dinner for 32€ there was only one main course selection (Kassler) My wife doesn't eat it so she was unlucky. There was only potato salad with the fish - no sauce or rice. Salad: no cucumber, no tomato, no chicken strips. I can't express how ripped off I feel for €32. Room without minibar - not up to date Employees at checkout were very nice

I'm a little disappointed that the hotel is a little old. The friendliness of the employees can be improved, especially that of the chefs. Breakfast was ok, lunch and dinner were terrible. Hardly any choice, steak and fish dry. In terms of taste, it's really in the lowest category. There was no real bar in the evenings, you were served through a kind of door. The location is really nice, right on the water. Room with safe, but that's all I can mention here.

The reason for the stay was a seminar. Quietly located seminar hotel by the lake. Friendly staff in all areas. Rooms and furnishings are a bit old but clean and in good condition.

For us, it was the perfect starting point for our activities in Potsdam. Off the beaten track, very quiet, yet close to the city.

So I'm not even there and I'm already incredibly dissatisfied. No one feels responsible, either by email or, especially, on the phone. I work for tourism and that's pretty much it. Called to reserve a room and was forwarded 8 times to different people because no one felt responsible for it and it was also very slow by email. It's a shame, it takes away the joy of coming when things are going just as bad there.

Outdated hotel. The staff was completely friendly and tried very hard. Unfortunately, you could feel the lack of love and lack of enthusiasm from the management at every corner. There was little interest in guests and problem solving. Technical defects, overheated rooms, leaden blankets... The friendly, committed, young staff had to fix it again and again.

The longing for peace and nature has often led me to the beautiful Seminaris Hotel, located directly on the lake. I really enjoyed my stay, especially from the wonderful armchair (hanging chair) and with a view of nature. The rooms are modern and spacious (higher class 29m2). The price-performance ratio is also great. You are directly in nature. Class. I'll be back!!!

A nice, large hotel that is of course getting old, but still makes a good impression. The standard double rooms could be a little larger, but sufficient for a short trip. The hotel is beautifully located on Lake Templiner and quietly in the forest. It is only about 4.5 km to the center of Potsdam, and since you can rent bicycles in the hotel, this distance is not a problem either. The only downside in my opinion was the meager breakfast buffet. There was a lack of inventiveness and variety here. The service staff could also benefit from further training in friendliness. So apart from a few little things, I can definitely recommend this hotel. In my opinion, the price/performance ratio is right here.

We felt very comfortable here. The hotel is located directly on the lake, with wonderful walking opportunities. We explored Potsdam on foot from here. It takes about an hour to walk to the city center. The rooms were sufficiently large, well-maintained, and very clean. The upstairs hallway smelled a bit strange, like sweat/flexing. The pool and sauna were very pleasant, but it's a shame the relaxation room was closed. That's especially noticeable after the sauna. There weren't enough loungers in the pool area, so there weren't enough loungers. But it was still okay. Breakfast There are: Rolls: wholemeal or regular, bread, croissants Boiled or scrambled eggs Bacon Baked beans Cream cheese, cheese variations Various types of sausage, cold cuts, and spreadable sausage Muesli, cornflakes, chocolate pops, etc. Various nuts, seeds, and dried fruit Whole milk, oat milk, lactose-free milk, Bircher muesli, and various types of yogurt/quark 4 fully automatic machines with café crema, latte macchiato, cappuccino, etc. Filter coffee, tea, still water, and apple juice So there's a plentiful selection. Super friendly staff in all areas. I can fully understand that in the breakfast area, perhaps when repeatedly clearing half-full plates (some people ate everything and left it standing, repeatedly), they sometimes don't have a smile left for the customer! This food waste doesn't have to happen! We would definitely book here again :)

We booked very spontaneously on the same day. The hotel is beautifully located by the lake in the countryside and is still only a few minutes' drive from the center. Public transport is also easy to reach (train and tram). Our room was new and modernly furnished. The staff was very friendly and the food for breakfast and the buffet in the evening was very good. The cocktails in the bar in the evening were also very tasty. There were two things we didn't like very much. We like to sleep with the window open and in the greenery by the lake we hadn't actually expected that the trains on the railway bridge would be quite loud at night. Maybe next time we'll book an inside room. We like to go to the sauna before 6 p.m. Unfortunately, the relaxation room was being renovated in February and there was no place to lie down because the 8 loungers in the swimming pool were already being used by visitors to the pool. But that is foreseeable. Maybe we could set up more loungers or at least chairs in that time. Nevertheless, thank you for a nice stay and for the service offered, moderate prices.

Nice location by the lake. The room was ok, but the fan in the bathroom was very loud and could also be heard from other rooms. Food at lunch and dinner was sometimes not edible. I've never eaten so little in a hotel for a week.

The breakfast was standard and there were delicious cocktails in the evening. The staff was always friendly and accommodating. The sauna area was good, unfortunately there were not enough loungers by the pool. Downstairs the relaxation room was closed. So we couldn't really relax, which was a shame. The hotel is located in the middle of the forest by the lake, beautiful location.

My stay at this hotel was a complete disappointment. The staff seems unprofessional and unmotivated. Some employees walk around as if they were employed at a youth center. For example, one employee wore a jogging jacket combined with an eye-catching designer belt - a completely inappropriate appearance for a hotel of this category. The service leaves a lot to be desired. From 10 p.m. onwards there was noise in the neighboring rooms and my multiple attempts to reach reception by phone were unsuccessful. In addition, almost every little thing seems to cost extra here, even bathrobes and slippers are not included in the use of the spa area, which is a given in other hotels of this class. Yes, the hotel is clean and the spa area is fine, but that is not enough to ignore the serious deficiencies. It is also particularly annoying that WiFi and TV only work sporadically. I work in the field for work and travel all over Germany. I stay in different hotels every week so I'm good at comparing and this hotel is definitely one of the worst I've ever stayed at. Conclusion: I will definitely not book this hotel again. The poor service and unprofessional staff do not make the stay a pleasant experience. Absolutely not recommended!

The location may be good in summer. Quite far away from the city. Rooms are okay. We stayed at the hotel over New Year's Eve. We also got a nice seat at the bar. But the young lady who served there wanted to chat more with people at a table than take care of the other guests. A table reservation was also accepted for these people. We were told there were no reservations. The breakfast room was always very full. Buffett without label. 2 jams to choose from. I find very little considering the size of the hotel. We've actually had better breakfasts.

We were there for the fourth time now, always mixed with friends, family and kids. The hotel is a bit outdated in terms of furnishings and could do with more charm, but its location on the lake in nature and a variety of options in the area combined with good value for money and great connections keep us coming back and make it a good address:-))

The vacation was booked from January 2nd to 5th, 2025 as a short break before the working year begins. When we arrived at the hotel we were told that the wellness area could only be used today. After that, maintenance work will take place until January 19, 2025. At first we were served, as the hotel was chosen specifically because of the pool and sauna. We also paid additional money through our travel partner to use the wellness area. At least €6 per day and person. According to the hotel, the travel provider apparently did not inform us about this restriction. According to the travel provider, it was the hotel's fault, which turned out to be the truth. To date, there is no information about this on the hotel's homepage or on the travel portal. Where one has to speak of fraudulent deception. After constant questions, we were repeatedly put off and sent from employee to employee. At the end of the holiday we received a discount on the hotel price (which was only due to our persistence), but it was anything but a relaxing holiday. The Congress Hotel Potsdam can be mentioned as a better alternative.

The room is great and was clean and tidy. The breakfast was sufficient and the location was ok. The wellness area is quite small, but it wasn't that crowded for us, so it worked. All in all great and friendly staff!

The buffet offering in the restaurant was poor, some of it was still used from New Year's Eve. Price per person extremely expensive for poor food. Very unfriendly restaurant manager.

I knew the hotel from a previous 14-day stay and was disappointed at how things turned out negatively. Reception youth hostel mentality (outfit employee hoodie) greeting other than a return hello, nothing more. Rooms are certainly usable as a conference hotel but nothing special. No water in the room. Furniture mixed, partly outdated and partly new. In summary, it's ok to stay overnight but only for a short period of time. Wellness area not recommended does not deserve the name. There is no longer a relaxation room. Unfriendly answer to an employee's request that it was blocked and then she left me standing. In a shower the water no longer drained, so you stood ankle deep in water. Eight loungers in the pool area that was all, not suitable for resting after a sauna session, unless there is no one in the pool area. Drinks in the sauna area e.g. lemon water or similar not available. Infusion for sauna not available, other guest brought his own, bathrobe for a cleaning fee of €4. Use of the wellness area €6. In summary, save money and drink a cocktail at the good house bar. As far as the service is concerned, you can tell that the employees are frustrated for whatever reason, good-humored employees look different, it's a shame that the hotel has developed like this. My impression is that the emphasis here is on quantity (mass production) rather than quality. I will no longer use it as a holiday hotel and will no longer recommend it.

Sorry, but... it started with cold water in the shower, the Christmas menu also left something to be desired, the sauna and bathing area is far too small for the number of visitors (since the relaxation room is closed). Rooms are very nice and very clean. The breakfast was great. Everything your heart desires is there. Great location for taking a few walks along the water.

Hotel is overall ok. Seminar rooms and hotel rooms are fine. The location is very remote from any civilization. So very quiet. What doesn't work at all is the food: all meals (breakfast, lunch, dinner) are bland and simply bad. Under no circumstances should you eat inferior food there for completely exorbitant prices.

Rooms ok, but pillows uncomfortable - too small! Moreover, the breakfast was not very tasty - scrambled eggs made of powder and cold meats of poor quality.

I was there on November 15th. for two nights in this hotel. Rooms were ok so far and the breakfast was also good and it was nice and quiet... However, I would describe the situation as a big bummer for guests without a car... in the dark there are no lanterns and you walk on the road, which means for us that we always took a taxi on the way back... Conclusion = without Car not a hotel for me

We meet there regularly over the weekend. The seminar rooms and rooms are very well and modernly equipped. The service is completely satisfactory from a technical and gastronomic point of view. The location is fantastic right on Lake Templin. Very quiet and therefore perfect for meetings. The staff is very courteous and provides support in all areas. There is a swimming pool, a sauna and a bowling alley in the wellness area. The bar is well stocked. I'm looking forward to the next stay.

Quiet location and therefore a little further away from transport. Hanging swing in the room is annoying because it makes the room cramped.

Overall, this hotel is not recommended.

A great weekend at the hotel! A rarely well thought-out concert - the location is unique, the topic of sustainability is implemented comprehensively without compromising on comfort, great parking garage, sauna and pool are also very inviting. Everything shines with cleanliness, beautiful design - very tidy without appearing empty. The hotel staff is always friendly and helpful. We really liked it, we will come back next time in summer to experience and enjoy the lake. Thank you for the lovely and relaxing stay!

Nice hotel in the countryside and still close to the city. We enjoyed our stay. I don't know why you, as a guest, are called by your first name in the hotel questionnaire. It is also unclear to me why the room greets you with the heating completely switched off when temperatures are around 0 degrees.

For a hotel without any stars, I found almost everything to be okay, but I found the price-performance ratio to be too expensive, for example the hotel's own pool with sauna was chargeable for everything and the quantity and selection of food was very small, but the taste was okay.

The hotel is well and beautifully located on the lake - a vehicle is highly recommended. The rooms are completely okay and the service staff is friendly and attentive. Personally, this was our third time in this hotel. Usually just one night at a volleyball game.

We have two friends from 21 to. November 24th quartered there because we live right around the corner. Of course we wanted to enjoy the breakfast buffet with the two of them in the morning. The hotel is definitely good, but the breakfast is the same as Mottel One… No, it's just better there. Scrambled eggs float in their own water, the cheese curls up at the corners, otherwise just plain standard. But then the hammer. The hotel wants €24 per person for this second-rate breakfast. I would rather recommend the hotel at the large orphanage in Potsdam. Fresh scrambled eggs not from a tetra pack, homemade jam, homemade cakes and salmon that you won't find here. So we won't broker this hotel again at this price
