We celebrated a wonderful birthday here with a large group. The service was excellent, as was the food! A superb setting, a fantastic location. I highly recommend it!

We had a lovely time sitting under the chestnut trees. The food and drinks were also good. We'd be happy to come back.

The Emme has finally reopened! We were delighted to see the waiters from before the closure. The service and food are still very good, even though the prices have increased a bit. We will be going there regularly again.

Shortly after the reopening, finally back in St. Emmeram. The ambience seemed to me as usual. The menu has been revised and so have the prices. All dishes tasted great, schnitzel, roast pork, liver with mashed cabbage and also dumplings with sauce. The only downside was the service; although our waiter was extremely friendly, we sometimes had the feeling that he was hiding. Or maybe it was because of where we were, right at the back in the corner of the hunting room.

Der alte Betreiber hat den Betrieb letztes Jahr eingestellt. Die neuen Betreiber haben einen neuen Namen und auch einen anderen Google-Maps Eintrag. Sie haben mit dem früheren Pächter keinen Zusammenhang. Ich freue ich auf den Neustart und bin gespannt wie es wird.

Anscheinend werden hier gerade ältere Bewertungen entfernt. Meine bleibt aber gleich: Wir waren jetzt zum zweiten Mal dort, und anders als beim ersten Mal im Juni war es diesmal sehr mager. Auf der Karte gab es mit Kürbissuppe und Obatzda genau zwei vegetarische Optionen, das auf Nachfrage hin vegetarisch zusammengestellte Brotzeitbrettl entpuppte sich als 12 Scheiben Scheibenkäse plus Obatzda, und in einer Johannisbeerschorle darf gerne auch soviel Saft sein, dass man die Johannisbeere schmeckt (und nicht nur die rote Färbung sieht). Dazu war die Bedienung bestenfalls mäßig freundlich, eher genervt. Und das alles zu wirklich grenzwertigen Preisen. Da erwarte ich einfach mehr Qualität.

Meine gelöschte alte Bewertung (ca 2016): Interessante Karte und sehr leckeres Essen. Wer besser essen will ist gut aufgehoben und dafür passt auch Preis/Leistung

My rating also remains the same despite deleting it: The food is really very good, and the location of the beer garden is also very nice :) However, €7.80 for a 0.75l bottle of water is simply far too expensive! Where is that justified?

das essen ist sehr lecker, aber die besonderen gerichte eher teuer. der service läßt zuweilen ziemlich auf sich warten. verbunden mit einem radausflug aber immer mal wieder lohnenswert.
