Were at Alex today and unfortunately it was an absolute failure… We left almost €200 there and the waiter who served us (glasses and beard) was really nice, although a bit slow, but it was busy so that's okay. Unfortunately, when we wanted to leave, we were approached very stupidly by a waitress with dark hair and a braid with curls (she said she is a mother of three) and a slightly smaller waiter with a bit of a beard. They didn't even serve us and the behavior was absolutely unacceptable. Unfortunately, anyone who lets such people work as waiters is absolutely wrong, because being nice is definitely something different. Our group of friends will avoid this store immediately and will definitely spread the word about how unfriendly the conditions here are. Oh, speaking of which…this restaurant is definitely not suitable for children!!! No baby chair, nothing. Disrespectful how these waiters were!!! The woman also insulted our friends about her appearance! Addendum: We gave it another chance about 2 weeks ago. The service was a bit slow and the food was okay, but in my opinion a bit overpriced for the quality. However, since we were treated more kindly this time, I would like to improve my review by this star. Nevertheless, I won't visit this restaurant that often but would rather go to Alex in Pasing or choose another local.

This has just been renovated and it looks really nice inside and out. The food is also very good. We'd love to come back.

We have been visiting this restaurant for years, either for breakfast, food or just a coffee. The waiters serve you quickly and are always super friendly (except for a blonde one who isn't there now). Even in the buffet where there is a lot going on, they remain friendly, try to serve you quickly and fill the buffet up quickly. If the crowd of people in the buffet take three slices of cheese etc, it is normal that the waiter cannot refill immediately. The food is always good. The cappuccino could have been better. Prices are higher everywhere. Buffet and price are very good.

Food was great, you can't say anything about that. The service, however, was rather poor. Our dirty plates were left on the table until almost the end and I only got a glass of water after asking twice. We also had to ask twice whether we could pay and the colleague who was actually sent to us didn't know that we wanted to pay. It was also unpleasant that the staff jokingly but loudly shouted to each other throughout the restaurant, saying something like “then just let yourself be run over, then you don't have to work”. The furnishings are chic, albeit dusty.

A friend and I wanted to relax in the evening. Have a drink or two and maybe... To eat one or two foods. So far so good, we got a seat right outside and the first order was taken (relatively) quickly. From then on it just went downhill, Not only were we not asked once if we wanted to eat anything, no We were simply ignored. Even after several attempts to draw the waiter's attention to us (no, I didn't make any annoying or degrading whistling noises), nothing happened. So after half an hour of waiting, we gave the money for our two drinks to the table next door and left.

Non-alcoholic drinks are priced too high. Tarte flambée is handmade with a lot of room for improvement and too dry (ready-made dough?) Cappuccino large and very strong, but no aroma, maybe change the beans. Unfortunately below average for the location. It's a shame, the ambience would otherwise be good.

If you go to an ALEX you have to have time, it's difficult to get a quick drink or snack because - like in every branch I know - the waiters like to wait for you. Apart from that, it is a very nice place with a cozy atmosphere (indoor & outdoor), nice decor and good drinks.

Unfortunately we think the 1 star is definitely too much. Simply unprofessional and unfriendly staff. Incomprehensible how a certain staff with glasses treats customers in a manly manner. It's a real shame for such a good location. As I have also seen in the reviews, some people have described exactly this: there are 2 waiters who are unfriendly and don't serve at all and they also sat outside at the corner where the table is intended for customers, so here you would have to control them a little more Employees don't feel like serving the customers, so the big gentleman with the glasses 👓 on August 11th, 2024 around 10:00 p.m. was working that day and we said he saw it at the table and was smoking and chatting with his work colleague at the customer table and didn't have us allowed to add. I had the feeling that he wasn't with himself. As I said, I would request a little more control, which would damage these people's reputation.

Place to be!!! The ALEX (especially at the RKP) is one of our favorite places in Munich. The food and drink are always TOP, the service (all employees) is super friendly and requests are always taken into account! Therefore a well-deserved 5*****! :-)

Not recommended, we sat outside and they asked us to go in. We sat outside and they took our drinks away and threw us out. The person was very unfriendly

Cocktails were delicious and very strong (haven't decided if it's good or bad 🙈). Burger was dry, pommes and mayo were overpriced. Service is indeed slow. Waiter was coming 3 times to check on us but didn't collect dirty dishes, they were on the table half of the evening. Overall we had a good evening as we were in a good company, nothing can beat that :).

Had brunch with a large group during the week. The service was nice, but a bit inattentive. In contrast to last year, I had the feeling that the price was higher, but the buffet was slimmed down.

Were there on Sunday for brunch with friends, the selection and quality is only average and very narrow. In between you had to wait for plates. I wouldn't go there for breakfast again but would stay in the hotel, the breakfast was better.

the boss in Alex Pasing is totally unfriendly. Bad service. I go with friends every time and we would always be treated badly. No customer service. Poor dealing with customers. We were treated with nervousness and rudeness today. The employee is overwhelmed and speaks rudely to the customers. We were banned from the house by the boss and he didn't want to bring anything. We have children and he didn't do anything. We had to go out despite the weather being bad. I've been going there for years and had no one do anything to me like what happened today 😔 The boss is racist and didn't bring water to the children because we are Muslims. The Chef had refused to offer me, my daughter and my friends anything without reason. The women working there was nervous and gave us no chance to explain what we want. We have called her to come to take the order and then she accused us of shouting but it didn’t happen. The chef came and told us I ll offer you nothing, there were two kids. He is racist and arrogant. We were polite and didn’t shout at all even the woman was rude to us because she is overworked. Then the boss told us not to come again. We are well educated and know how to deal with others. I recommend not to go there and not to deal with racist, impolite boss. My daughter was surprised by what happened and asked me why! Were there for Sunday brunch. Basically a good selection but quite bland. Egg dishes cold, hot dishes quite overcooked. Service was non-existent - our plates weren't cleared and it wasn't possible to order a second drink. It's a real shame, it has great potential.

Nice looking restaurant. Very big menu with lots of variety, from Indian curries to burgers, steaks, currywurst, Schnitzel, salads, pasta dishes, pizza rolls, tarte flambee, bowls, soups, breakfast brunch - so there's something for every taste. The things we ordered were adequate and portion sizes were adjusted in a way to reduce food waste, which I appreciate a lot. In addition, the place offers a wide variety of different drinks, both with and without alcohol, including lemonades. The cocktails looked nice, the lemonade was okay but I would have expected more from the price point. The toilet facilities looked clean and the service was friendly. The restaurant is located near a road with significant traffic, so when sitting outside it can be rather noisy. Overall, this is a decent option to have a drink and a small bite with friends, if you're close by, as likely everyone will find something suitable.

For me, Alex is really a great restaurant. No matter which city I've been to at Alex, I've always liked it. The food, drinks and service are always top notch. The only disadvantage is that so far, no matter which Alex and no matter what time I tried, I haven't been able to get anyone on the phone. It is very difficult to reach an Alex restaurant by phone if you have 24 hours, you can reserve online. However, if this is to be at short notice, you would have to call. But that doesn't work because no one answers the phone. This certainly has something to do with the high volume of customers in the restaurant. However, it's a shame if you try again and again every five minutes and no one can ever be reached

I was there for the first time. Unfortunately, I was so annoyed that I couldn't find a parking space - during the week at 11 a.m. 4 rounds later finally. But no star deduction for that reason. The ambience is great. The service friendly and attentive. The roaches outside are also very beautiful. Very cozy. We had the breakfast buffet. It was okay but somehow carelessly presented. It was tasty. All in all it was good.

On a Tuesday afternoon when there's hardly anything going on, you wait 10 minutes for the waiter, who can't think of anything better than to ask if you want the menu. Please what? Even though there were two of us, we were only given one card. Underground and the last time. You should train your staff better.

It's a very nice restaurant with a great menu and prices. We go there frequently, but the last experience bears mentioning. The service wasn't actually that good and it's understandable when the restaurant is full (to a point) but when the waiter or kitchen makes a mistake on an order and especially when it's baby food, it should It should be a priority for the kitchen, not half an hour late and in the end they want you to pay for it even if it wasn't served properly. You should take something like that out of the equation and definitely look at what should be a priority and work on it.

Since the renovation, I've been to the restaurant twice, 14 days apart, the quality of the cocktails varies greatly, the first time was great, the second time I would have preferred to complain about the AperolSpritz and the Tequila Sunrise. The burgers were OK, but the Chicken Terriaky and the THAI RED CHICKEN CURRY were probably the same, the taste was borderline bad, I have no problem with convenience products... but if even the chicken wasn't freshly fried, the price isn't justified . In my opinion, the ambience has become nice, but... there has been no noise protection at all, and at some of the tables there are chairs that are so narrow that they are probably intended for skinny models than for the normal guest, who is a little more solidly built is. The service is friendly, but not attentive enough; it shouldn't happen that the empty plates remain at the guest's table for up to an hour. Conclusion: you should stick to a consistent recipe for cocktails. With convenience products you can significantly increase the quality with very few adjustments. There is an urgent need to work on noise protection in order to make the charm of a train station hall acoustics disappear.

A great spot for upscale casual food just a couple of stops on the U-bahn from the HBf. It was quite busy and the wait staff was sufficiently attentive. I had a cheeseburger with cranberry sauce that blew me away.

Service desert in Germany or if you as a group (9 people for brunch, bill over €250) are not allowed to sit down wherever you want in bright sunshine and an absolutely free terrace. The LADY who had assigned us the table in the interior (it was right in front of the kitchen and at the entrance to the buffet and was unacceptable, and we wanted to go outside with such great weather and a holiday) was so rude and stroppy in her tone that one you have to ask yourself what you should do in a service-oriented profession. We went to ALEX for dinner today. Unfortunately, I had a piece of glass in my dish that I only noticed when I bit into it. When I pointed out the shard to the waitress, the dish was immediately taken back and I had something else to eat. Unfortunately, the original dish was neither removed from sale, which is what I would have expected when you find slivers in a sauce, nor was there a price reduction. Food was super tasty. Unfortunately the staff ignored us for the first 10-15 minutes. We had to report ourselves. We had the same problem when paying. You won't be attacked for it because the gender-free service actually just hates you. You can also get good, fresh food and delicious drinks at Alex at other times. Ahhh yes, sorry I forgot about that in NY. So better Amex than Visa. The world is just a crappy place in 2024. Here in Alex you will sit at least for a short time where you think that it is still okay. Are you that Alex leaves again, ..and reality bites you again in your "derrière" as the Frenchies say. So it's best to stay there for a long time.

Super friendly and fast service!

Unfortunately, the visit to ALEX was very disappointing. Both the drinks and the food are absolutely overpriced for the quality. The juice spritzer cost over €6 and had little taste and the pizza roll had little to do with its name. In the tomato-mozzarella filling, the cheese content definitely predominates, which doesn't help the taste. It is not clear from the description that the roll is deep fried and this deprives the dish of any reference to pizza... All in all very poor in taste. A pity. At least the service staff was friendly. Unfortunately, that's not enough to make you visit again.

There is always a lot of hustle and bustle at dinner with lots of people of all colors and ages. I always enjoy going there, but you should make a reservation during the usual meal times.

Very bad managers, dubious, unreliable... the agreed upon appointment after trial work because the employment contract was signed a month ago simply didn't come until today and hasn't even apologized. For further attempts to arrange a new appointment via WhatsApp, email does not respond. That's not the way to play with employees - it's a shame for entire companies

We are Neuhäuser and Alex has actually been our short vacation at home so far. However, this is the second time we have been disappointed. First thing in the evening with friends for a cocktail. The Caipirinha was more of an ice cream spritzer. After the complaint (the service employee was very friendly) the new drink was OK, but had little to do with a Caipi. Unfortunately, today's visit was a total failure. A Cai Latte, probably with bad milk. On the latte there was really like a pudding Caipulver Schlonze. A complaint is not possible because the service employee was either not there, too busy or ignored us. My partner drank it and I only sipped it a few times. When paying, he pointed out that there was something wrong with the Cai Latte. OK, cashed, that's it. Now we're sitting at home with gagging and diarrhea. thank you very much

Unfortunately the food is an absolute disgrace! Paid 16 euros for chicken tikka masala and got 2 spoons of rice, 5 pieces of meat that were overcooked and half a naan. My friend ordered pasta and got soup. If you can't cook it should just remain a bar!

Oh, that Alex... It is and remains difficult. Especially when it comes to service, although it's not the fault of individuals - they are friendly, committed and do the best they can under difficult circumstances. One has the impression: there is not a lack of employees, it is not a lack of competence - it is a lack of the system. Even with a full house, you can't wait almost 15 minutes for your drinks. And then you are informed that the promotional drink advertised on a flyer at the table is not in stock. A pity! The Alex concept had so much potential. Maybe could New, better management can help here.

Price-performance ratio is not right for me. I didn't really like the vegetarian burger and the price was very high at around €23 for the burger, fries and a coke. In addition, no card payment was possible.

Ich war ziemlich überrascht als ich das Alex am Mittwoch Abend betreten habe. Die Neugestaltung ist gelungen, zeitgemäß aber nicht mein Fall. Die Empore ist weggefallen, alle Tische stehen auf einer Ebene. Es war um 17.15 Uhr unheimlich laut, sodass wir uns kaum unterhalten konnten. Leider gab es nur wenige ruhigere Zeiten, wir werden uns also in Zukunft woanders treffen müssen. Schade, Getränke und Speisen sind gut und nicht so teuer.

Sehr angenehmes und großes Restaurant am Rotkreuzplatz.Einfach zu erreichen mit dem Bus oder mit der U-Bahn. Es gibt viel Platz in dem Lokal und die Auswahl an Essen und Getränke ist groß. Ich werde bestimmt das Restaurant nochmal besuchen

Achtung Abzocke! Wir waren letzten Samstag frühstücken. Zweimal vom Buffet, einmal Cappuccino, einmal Kaffee, einmal Kakao und eine große Flasche Wasser. Beim bezahlen hieß es, man kann mit Karte nicht bezahlen, das Bestellgerät funktioniert nicht und der Keller kann uns keine Quittung geben. Wir haben 67,70 EUR bezahlt. Absolut unverschämt. Auf Anfrage wird nicht reagiert, weder telefonisch noch per Mail. Nie wieder.

Heute da gewesen , das Wetter war ja super ! Wir haben leider nur etwas getrunken da es am Sonntag erstmal Brunch gibt ! Was ich persönlich nicht verstehe,den nicht jede möchte bis 13. Uhr warten um normal zu essen ! Dank der unglaublichen netten und sehr freundlichen bedienenden Adriana die mir das so ruhig und kompetent erklärt hat sind wir dann doch geblieben ! Sehr angenehm solche Leute im Service zu haben ,da ich das Konzept eher als Nötigung empfinde Sonntags brunchen zu müssen . Das gefällt mir überhaupt nicht ,es sollten schon alle Bedürfnisse des Gastes abgedeckt sein und nicht nur noch die Masse! Schade ich mochte das Café sehr gerne aber Zeiten ändern sich anscheinend! Danke trotzdem an Adriana für ihren Service.
