If you go here, do so outside of Ramadan, as not everything can always come at the same time and the quality suffers accordingly. Outside Ramadan it is really delicious. Plenty of meze/delicatessen with pide and wrap. It tastes really delicious and what really tastes really good are the ribs. A little expensive, but a good portion. This time, however, I got yogurt with Adana, which I ate 15 years ago and I couldn't forget the taste😊

Unfortunately your service was very bad, I was embarrassed for my guests. We asked for another soup and they said there was none, but since the table next to us was familiar, they were given soup. This is a very bad situation. On top of that, they are talking to us in our faces. Are people being singled out just because they know us? I don't understand. In short, your service was zero. Very tasty food here, there is nice grilled meat which you can also taste. A clear recommendation from me is that you can eat here. Paying in cash or by card is no problem here either.

Very unsympathetic... even though we made a reservation, we weren't taken seriously. Since we were probably forgotten, they wanted to offer us a room in the basement (ridiculous) and of course we're out and will never go there again...

These are the restaurants I've been coming to since 2008. Even though there was a reservation, they tried to sit it on the ground like a warehouse. If you don't have the capacity, why do you resort to every possible way of making money? Selale restaurant is over for me and I will not recommend it to those around me.

I published the first review 5 years ago. We eat here every now and then. Unfortunately today's visit was a disaster. Lahmacun was served cold, we asked three times for the bread with meze. (I have to say, there were only two tables occupied by us). My request when ordering to bring the tea together with lahmacun was not honored at all. We haven't had service as bad as today anywhere else for a long time.

Food was just amazing as always

All the meals were very delicious. The mixed grill plate was especially very good! Lahmacun and pitas are baked fresh in a special oven. All crunchy. The interior is large, spacious, stylishly decorated and a perfect family place. The staff is friendly. I recommend it to everyone

The food is delicious and has a convincing taste. Unfortunately, the service and organization leave a lot to be desired when the number of guests is high. • The starters are served, but the accompanying bread only comes with the main course. • The main courses are not served at the same time, which means that someone has to eat already so that the dish does not get cold. • Reorders take so long that by the time they arrive you've either already finished eating or your hunger has passed. 1 star is too much for the store. There were two of us there today, until a waiter served us we had to speak to 4 waiters and at the end one of them said with his back turned (very provocatively) don't worry, you will be served. A fiasco from start to finish. I went looking at the stars, but I definitely didn't find what I expected. I have never seen such an unregulated restaurant. When we entered, no one said welcome or cared. The tables were full. We waited behind to see if anyone would take care of us. The environment was very loud. When a table became empty, we sat there. But no one comes or goes. We were able to order after asking the waiter twice if we could order. We waited for the table floor to be wiped for 10 minutes. The orders arrived exactly 50 minutes later. The meat was undercooked to the point of not being cooked at all. You have to tell everyone everything twice. We asked for bread, but he left and never came again. It was my first and last time.

Lahmacun is number 1 in Germany. There are delicious kebab varieties that you will never find anywhere else, as well as delicious juicy dishes, but my choice is the chicken soup, it is really excellent. During Ramadan this restaurant is an absolute disaster. My colleague had made a reservation 2 days in advance with his name and number of people at the door and was then told that there was no reservation under that name for that day. It may be that this may have been lost on the phone, but if you approach the customer, especially during Ramadan when many Muslims are fasting, you can still arrange a table where we could still break our fast without any problems.

Reservations that were discussed by telephone 5 days in advance will not be honored. Because of Selale, we couldn't break our fast on time with a group of 8 people because, despite proof that we had called and spoken, no reservation had been saved. Very sad

The Kelle-Paca soup was delicious. I thought it was great that there was homemade lavash bread. Also onions extra at the table. On the grill plate, the meat, including the Adana skewer, was juicy/tasty.

Das Essen war sehr gut die Bestellung ging auch sehr zügig, obwohl es voll war. Nettes Personal und die Gerichte waren auch sehr lecker muss ich sagen nur was mich gestört hat dass die Tür nicht richtig zu ging und wir in der Nähe des Türen saßen, war es schon bisschen kalt.

Es ist mit Abstand das beste Restaurant in Duisburg. Wurde noch nie enttäuscht. Die Vorspeisen kommen sind super lecker, alle 3 mezes sind top. Das warme brot mit butter ist eine 10/10 Das Fleisch ist ebenfalls perfekt.

Was für ein unverschämter und dreckiger Laden. Wie asozial kann man sein zu seinen Gästen. Nach dem wir(4 Personen)Unsere Bestellung aufgegeben haben bekommen wir auch relativ schnell unser Essen für 3 Personen als wir Die Bedienung darauf hingewiesen haben dass ein Essen fehlen würde meinen die Bedienung darauf hin ob die das Essen wirklich noch machen soll. Nach 50min kamm das Essen noch. Dann sagte ich packen sie das essen von uns allen ein wir gehen. Die Bedienung legte das essen von 4 Personen zusammen in eine Verpackung als ich die Bedienung darauf aufmerksam machte sagte sie: soll ich das echt nicht alles trennen? Heftig was für ein Drecks Laden. Dreckig wars auch lag noch benutzten besteck unter dem Tisch.

Sehr leckere türkische Speisen und top Qualität. Wir kommen gerne hierher und fahren dafür extra nach Duisburg! Die Bedienung ist jedes Mal freundlich.

Ich würde dir niemals raten zu kommen. Wir warteten 20 Minuten, um unsere Bestellung aufzugeben, der Kellner kam, wir bestellten, wir warteten noch eine Stunde. So etwas wie Kundenzufriedenheit gibt es nicht. Als wir eine Stunde später aufstanden und nach der Bestellung fragten, sagten sie, sie hätten vergessen, die Bestellung vorzubereiten. Sie haben sich nicht einmal entschuldigt, ich glaube nicht, dass ich jemals wieder hingehen werde, ich empfehle auch niemandem, dorthin zu gehen.

İch bin mit meiner 5 köpfigen Familie Dagewesen. Der Dönerfleisch war lecker. Als Nachtisch habe ich Muhallebi mit Pistazien gegessen auch der Hammer. Preis war in Ordnung für die heutigen Umstände.

Reis viel zu Hart. Du hast dein Messer zum schneiden des Reis benutzt. Dazu hast du noch 1 h auf das Essen gewartet. Unfreundlich auch noch. Naja das war’s im großen und ganzen. Ambiente besser als ÖZ Urfa muss man lassen. Aber nicht nur das Aussehen zählt.

Die besten Lahmacun hier in Duisburg. Außerdem wird noch bevor überhaupt das Essen kommt, warmes mit Butter überzogenes Lavaş serviert. Das alles auf Kosten des Hauses. Da sollen sich mal alle anderen in Marxloh ein Beispiel daran nehmen. Ich kann es jedem nur Empfehlen

Şelale’deyiz Bizim aile, çağa ayak uydurdu, bayram münasebetiyle, Duisburg’daki Celal Usta’nın sahibi olduğu Şelale Restoran’a buluştu. Artık kimse evde yemek yapmaya uğraşmıyor. Eskiden evde günler öncesinden başlanarak yemekler yapılır, bir aile büyüğünün evinde toplanılır, önceden hazırlanan bu yemekler topluca yenirdi. Aile büyüğü olarak, bu yıl ben biraz değişiklik yaptım, bayram münasebetiyle, bizim aileyi Şelale Restaurant’a davet ettim. Yedik, içtik, bayramlaştık, çok da güzel oldu. Celal Usta’nın kendi elcağızıyla hazırlayıp, pişirip, sıcak sıcak servis ettiği kebapları tattıktan sonra herkes; “gerçekten de bu çok güzel oldu” dediler. Bizim evde yaptığımızın tersine Şelale’de kebaplar çıtır çıtır, pıtır pıtır bir şey; insanın ağzında helva gibi dağılıyor, damağa yapışmıyor ve ayranla muhteşem iyi gidiyor. Ağıza gelir gelmez, insan et yediğinin farkına varıyor, kebabın leziz ve kaliteli bir etten yapıldığı belli oluyor. Celal Usta, eti mangala atmadan önce üstüne ince birkaç biber ve domates koyuyor, onun da tadı süper oluyor. Ve yanında çeşitli garnitürler sunmayı da ihmal etmiyor. Bu sebebten biz arada sırada buluşur Celal Usta’yı ziyaret ederiz. İnanın Şelale’de yemek yerken zevkten dört köşe oluyoruz. Galiba Celal ustanın hazırladığı kebaplar insanda alışkanlık yapıyor.. Sonunda o kanaate vardımki Celal ustanın sihirli elinin değdiği her et harika bir tad alıyor. Şelale boşuna isim yapmamış. 90 yılların başındaydı komşum Dadaş amca, Duisburg’a yeni bir restoran açıyordu. Bana Türkiye’den bir aşçı getireceğini kiralık bir yer aradığını sordu. Açılacak lokantanın karşısındaki benim evlerin birinde tesadüf bir boş dairem vardı. Bu daireyi, Dadaş amca benden Türkiye’den gelen usta için kiralamıştı. Celal Usta ile tanışıklığım taaa o yıllara dayanır. Her ne kadar ev sahibi-kiracı ilişkileri pek iyi olmasa da, biz iyi anlaşmıştık. Dadaş amca oldukça geniş ve gösterişli ‘Dadaşlar Restaurant’tı açtı. Aşçı başı olarak da işin başına Celal Usta geçti. Celal Usta öyle yemekler yapıyordu ki parmaklarını yersin. Taaa ki “Şelale” isimli bir restoran açılana kadar. Çevrede herkes Şelale restorandan bahsetmeye başladı. İnsanlar; “Orada bir kebap yapıyorlar, öyle böyle değil. Lezzeti bakımından kendileri ile yarışacak başka bir lokanta bilmiyorum.” demeye ve Şelale ismi dilden dile yayılmaya başladı. Hadi biz de bir gidelim dedik. Gittik baktık, gördük ki hakikaten dedikleri kadar varmış. Artık, arada sırada gidiyoruz. Bir gün restoranda Celal ustayla karşılaştık. “Gerçekten bu kadar şahane kebapları senden başkası yapamazdı, yediğimiz kebaplar iyi bir ustanın elinden çıktığı belliydi.” dedik. Bizim buraların “bence” en iyi kebapçısı Şelale. Yeri güzel. Ulaşması kolay, pek trafiğe girmeden gidiliyor. Mekanın içi güzel dizayn edilmiş, temiz, rahat koltukları var. Kuruluyorsun koltuklara gelsin kebaplar, gitsin tabaklar. Garson arkadaşlar da işlerini daha bir severek yapıyor. Biz sohbet ederken; kebaplardan önce hiç bir ücret talep etmeden, sıcak pide ile çeşitli soğuk mezeler sunuluyor. Mezeler de taze ve güzel. Bazen dayanamıyor sıcak tereyağlı lavaşla girişiyoruz soğuk mezelere.. Neredeyse aperitif olarak sunular soğuk mezelerden doyduğumuz bile oluyor. Bu gün eski günleri yad ettik. O kahrolası yokluk yıllarının gidip de bir daha gelmemesini, en kötü günümüzün en az böyle olmasını diledik. Bayramlaştık ayrıldık. Birdahaki bayramlarda buluşmak üzere, hepinizin bayramını candan kutlar. Neşe dolu, sağlık dolu, mutluluk dolu güzel günler geçirmenizi dilerim. İsmail Samur
