Sunday, 12:45 p.m. Despite free seating outside, we (6 people) were refused service on the grounds that "it would be inconvenient at the moment." Unfortunately, even when asked, they couldn't clarify what this meant. Apparently, they simply didn't want us as guests – sad.

The service wasn't particularly friendly; they seemed annoyed... The food came quickly... I had the baked potato, which was okay... but with the olives, and I suspect they were supposed to be sun-dried tomatoes (I could only guess by their appearance because they tasted similar to olives), that came with the salad, I'm not sure if they were still good because the texture and flavor were off... too bad.

The service deserves a 5 ⭐️, but the food, unfortunately, doesn't. I only had an iced coffee, but the ice cream already had a lot of frozen lumps, which you couldn't really call crystals anymore. That's evidence of a broken cold chain. The currywurst portions were quite large, but unfortunately, they were a resounding success 🤷🏻‍♀️ . I wouldn't have expected something like that for the price. The four pancakes were okay, and the apple compote was pleasant. All in all, the service was the best part of our visit. Friendly and very attentive.

In fact, I find it very difficult to give a star rating. If I were to rate only the service or the staff, it would be 5 stars. Everyone was friendly, we were served promptly, and the server assigned to us was very cordial. That's how you feel welcome. Now, to the food: We generally enjoyed the food, but it wasn't a "highlight." The price-performance ratio wasn't right for us at all. The four potato pancakes were definitely frozen, and the applesauce was, of course, also industrially produced. (Price €8.50 for the children's menu.) The Wiener Schnitzel with fries and salad was a huge portion. Too huge, actually. The salad didn't deserve the name, as it consisted of pickled peppers, beans, and white cabbage (all from cans), tart cucumbers, a few fresh lettuce leaves, and a quarter of a tomato. (It would certainly have been served like this in a traditional restaurant in the 1950s.) I wonder how the price of €22.50 is justified. It's better to offer smaller portions and lower prices accordingly. And the children's meal prices are a rip-off in my opinion. And this from a restaurant located within a complex that strongly promotes families...

The beautiful beer garden with its two adjacent playgrounds made the long wait for drinks and food more bearable. Although the park restaurant was very busy on Father's Day, the service staff remained very friendly, and the wait for the food was definitely worth it—everything was delicious!

It was our first time there and we were lucky to get a spot. Service was nice and the food was very tasty. Due to staff absences, the service was really busy but was still friendly. A little longer waiting time but that was ok because the restaurant was full, inside and outside.

Unfortunately, the restaurant's service is extremely different from the tower bistro. The restaurant was first class. Great service. Great food. 5 stars here. Unfortunately, the tower bistro is not recommended at all. This is our third time here and we are experiencing the same thing for the third time. The service is alone, overwhelmed, disorganized and unfriendly. Waiting times of 30-60 minutes in line, even though there are only 5 people in front of you! I've never experienced anything like this in the restaurant industry. It's a shame that there is such a stark contrast to the very good restaurant here.

There are days when there is a little more going on in the Bürgerpark, and you actually know that in advance. Apparently the operators don't. We wanted to get something to eat and drink at a kiosk, there were 6 people in front of us with 3 orders and I have never seen such unstructured and incompetent staff. One guy used his fingers to eat food more than he worked. The other makes life unnecessarily difficult for herself. Instead of making a few more sausages and fries, everything is done individually, so that under no circumstances does everyone get their food together.

First of all, I would like to mention that the Bürgerpark & ​​the Miniaturenpark are really great value for money. I would also like to have reported something positive about Seidels Park Gastronomy. But unfortunately it wasn't that good. We were out in the park and wanted to end the sunny day with a cold drink. Guests were three adults and one child. A large beer, a large Radler, a non-alcoholic Hefe and a milkshake were ordered. Everything's okay so far. After about 10 minutes the child got his drink. Ours was still a long time coming... When the milkshake had been empty for a long time and only air was being drawn through the straw, I decided to take a look around at the animals. 15 minutes later we should also get our drinks. I would have expected everyone to get their drink at the same time. The prices are not exactly cheap, at least €23.80. The joy didn't last long as the glasses hadn't been washed properly. So (presumably) there were leftover cakes in the beer glass. It also took 20 minutes to pay. The employees seemed totally overwhelmed and overloaded. They were friendly despite visible stress. Without further discussion we were offered new drinks. However, we didn't feel like staying there anymore, so we were met with the bill. I don't know if I will go there again.

So things are looking good (foreign trade) But the price for 0.5 liters of water (€4) is a bit steep. If you don't want to let your children die of thirst. Especially since the price is different, you don't have to wait for a response. This is how you can “destroy” the park

Very patient and flexible service. They are very nice and polite. Prices are justified for the size of the portion. Beautiful location and well-kept surroundings. To recommend. We were spontaneously there with 12 people which was no problem for the service.

There were three of us (child, wife, dad) The ambience was nice. But the food was a full 6 in terms of taste. My son had the dish ``Seven Dwarves''. The taste of the mashed potatoes was the same as the day before, so the potatoes were then mashed together with a little warm milk and a little butter, simply disgusting. My wife had a vegetarian casserole where the cut was so cruel, I had never seen it before. I have been working in the catering industry as a chef since 2007. I myself had pea stew for €10.50, which is a disgrace. Who can please calculate the astronomical prices? In terms of taste and cut shape, it comes out of the can. Instead of a Bockwurst I had a Käsebockwurst which had no place there at all. In addition, the menu is incorrectly declared and a lot of labels are missing. I/We will never visit this shed again, a complete disaster. The older service was still friendly, which I would like to say positively.

Visited the park and had lunch there. Very nice service and on point. I don't think prices are appropriate for some dishes and I had a grain of sand in my meal. It was delicious.

Very nice and hard-working staff who were attentive and right there when you needed them. The food was pretty good and tasted very good. I can only recommend the restaurant.

We wanted to let our 9-month-old daughter's porridge warm up, but were immediately told off that they wouldn't do that. We didn't eat or drink anything, but the service and customer friendliness is different.

I can't rate food. You simply weren't served. Even after speaking to us several times and even when the table was cleared away from the previous person, we weren't even greeted. Absolutely underground. It's a shame that you can't give zero stars for service.

We were looking forward to a relaxing holiday in the Bürgerpark. Unfortunately we were extremely disappointed with the service. After queuing for 45 minutes for a scoop of ice cream, moving forward 1 meter and the staff being overwhelmed and rude, we left the Bürgerpark without ice cream. Absolutely not gastronomically recommended.

Waited 20 minutes until we were served upon request! Then again until we finally got our two sundaes, again upon request! The ice cream sundaes were a disgrace, 5 half cherries in my Black Forest cup, my wife's peach melba looked just as stunted! The complete opposite of the picture in the ice cream menu! Very ambitious for €9.50 per piece, typical tourist trap! You should know what an ice cream sundae should look like. Every Italian ice cream parlor knows how to do it!

We had a family meal there. Very good range of food at a medium price level. We enjoyed it very much and the service was very good. The staff was very attentive and friendly. Highly recommended.

Extremely expensive and grumpy staff. A typical tourist trap. Tarte flambée 15 euros, bratwurst with fries 14.50 euros. That's just a shame for a community park.

The service here is very friendly, but the prices and the quantity on offer leave a lot to be desired. €14.50 for a currywurst with a few fries and no salad is steep. The Wiener Schnitzel at €20.50 is also very small for this price, after all it comes with a very tiny salad. If you have too much money, you can eat here, as the taste was at least good. For everyone else, I recommend taking something with you to the park.

It was our first time there and we were lucky to get a seat. Service was nice and the food was very tasty. We just thought it was a shame how the children's plate was prepared, it has potential for improvement! Even kids like to eat a salad 🥗 otherwise we were very satisfied.

We ordered a “beef steak” from the daily menu with fried potatoes. We got a meatball with fried potatoes. We were served in a friendly manner and when we raised the issue we were told that's what it says on the menu. A free beer was offered to make up for it, but we couldn't see any difference on the bill. Conclusion: The food was okay, the service was friendly, but stating one thing on the menu and delivering something else is borderline at best.

We were there with 8 people and ate bratwurst in a roll. Great bratwurst! And totally delicious. Everyone was full and could continue to enjoy the park.

5 sterne für den service ist eindeutig zu wenig, die bratwurst ist lecker, nein super lecker und man sitzt auf einer gemütlichen terasse mit tischen aus alten nähmaschinen

Wir wurden sogar darauf hingewiesen, dass die Soljanka eine vollwertige Hauptspeise ist. Sonst hätten wir sie als Vorspeise bestellt. Danke dafür. Das wäre bei den Portionen definitiv zuviel gewesen. Preise im derzeitigen normalen Bereich.

Für ein Radler 0,5L 5€! Hot Dog 4€... Die Kaffeespezialitäten kosten mehr als auf dem Marktplatz. Das ist echt ne harte Ansage👎 wirklich fragwürdige Preispolitik Dann lieber Rucksack mit Getränken und Schnitten 😄

Das Restaurant ist wirklich nicht schlecht, aber das Bistro mit Aussenservice ist echt nur lala. Die Pommes - da kann ich mich den positiven Rezensionen nicht anschließen. Ich liebe Pommes, aber die hab ich nicht aufgegessen. Waren labberig und relativ geschmacklos. Dann versuche ich immer den veganen Burger , der als „Beyond Meat Burger“ mit „Beyond Meat Pattie“ ausgewiesen ist auch so zu bekommen. Aber jetzt das dritte Mal war nurnoch ne Gemüsepattie da, was einem aber nicht gesagt wird, außer auf Nachfrage … grenzwertig! Und 9,50€ für nen Burger und 4,50€ für ne Bratwurst ist einfach dreist für die Location. Wir werden ab jetzt Brote schmieren und uns die 20€ für drei Würste und n Bier sparen…

Sehr lecker und Reichaltig , Hatte Schnitzel gegessen Pfifferlingen und Bratkartoffeln . Mega lecker und sowas von Schmackhaft. Auch die Getränke.immer gerne wieder.Der Miniaturpark und Bürgergarten und viele weitere Attraktionen .und vor allem der super Gastronomie im Bürger- garten sowie das Schloss und Rathaus und vieles mehr.Wernigerode, ist immer eine Reise wert .

Wenn man Bürger- und Miniaturenpark besucht kommt man unweigerlich hier hin. Schade, dass man dafür den Parkeintritt bezahlen muss. Zu Mittag gab's einen total leckeren Flammkuchen und auch später die Torte und der Eiskaffee müssen keine Vergleiche scheuen. Wer also im Park ist, sollte sich das Essen dort nicht entgehen lassen. Preislich für meine Begriffe auch vollkommen im Rahmen.

Ein wunderschönes Parkrestaurant mit sehr leckerem Essen und sehr netten, hilfsbereiten und fleißigen Mitarbeiter*innen. Sehr schön im Bürgerpark gelegen und direkt neben einem schönen Spielplatz. Für Familien mit Kindern ideal!

Wir waren am Imbiss. Burger waren sehr lecker, für den Preis sollten allerdings die Pommes inklusive sein. Suppe: für 5 Euro etwas wenig Inhalt. Personal sehr freundlich. Preise für SB zu hoch. Trotz Energie- und Personalkosten.

Leckerer Burger, aber für 9€ schon sehr teuer. Die Bohnensuppe war auch gut. Außerdem waren die Pommes selbst gemacht. Beim Bistro müssten wir lange anstehen, da nur einer den Stand betreut und immer nur ein oder zwei Bestellungen gleichzeitig gemacht hat.

Zum Modellbaufest bei der aussengastro gekauft. An den Containern waren anderen Preise als bei dem Pavillonverkauf bei den Gärten. Trotz gleicher Firma war oben der Pfand doppelt so teuer, und das Essen auch teurer. Wollte man Pfand am Container abgeben, wollten die 1€ Pfand nur rausgeben, obwohl 2€ bezahlt. Das Personal leidet wegen schlechtem Management.

Wir waren im Bürgerpark und haben unsere Mittagspause im Parkrestaurant verbracht. Die Bedienung war freundlich aber sehr schusselig. Mein Kind hat 3 mal nach Stiften zum Malen gefragt und wurde stets ignoriert. Die Auswahl an Speisen war begrenzt und sehr Preis intensiv. Eine Currywurst mit Pommes ohne Salatbeilage für 14,50€ war sehr enttäuschend. Das nächste Mal nehmen wir uns lieber geschmierte Brote mit in den Park.

Heute am Ostermontag 😍 wollten wir uns einen schönen Tag im Bürgerpark machen,es kam uns gelegen,das die Gaststätte geöffnet hatte. Im Internet steht: Vorübergehend geschlossen. So bekamen wir für 6 Personen einen Platz. Die Speisekarte ist klein aber fein,die Ofenkartoffeln mit Lachs sind sehr gut,ebenso die Currywurst mit Pommes. Der Service war zuvorkommend und eifrig,die Tischdekoration ansprechend. Bei dem Andrang waren auch 2 Toiletten geöffnet und ein Baby-Wickeltisch vorhanden,das fanden wir sehr gut. Ein Mankopunkt ist,es zieht hier(innen) fürchterlich,da auch im Außenbereich bedient wird und es 2 gegenüberliegende Türen gibt. Ansonsten zu Ostern ein ganz großes Dankeschön

Schöne Lokalität mit freundlichem Personal. Leider waren unsere Speisen qualitativ hinter den Erwartungen und den Preisen deutlich zurück geblieben. Lauwarme und teils kalte Beilagen sind bei diesen Preisen nicht akzeptabel. Hier sollte dringend nachgebessert werden.

Vorweg: die Bedienung war sehr freundlich. Putenschnitzel „Wiener Art“ , eine Handvoll Pommes (sehr lecker) auf den Teller geklatscht, kein Salatblatt oder Tomatenspalte, fertig. Das Ganze für 19,50€, unverschämt! Nie mehr wieder!

Trotz sehr gut besuchten Biergarten haben wir zu dritt einen Tisch bekommen. Getränke- und Essenbestellung wurden zügig und freundlich aufgenommen. Auf die Getränke und das Essen mussten wir etwas länger warten, aber angesichts der vielen Gäste war die Wartezeit in Ordnung. Im Gegensatz zu den wirklich saftigen Preisen. Für eine Currywurst mit Pommes, Fleischkäse mit zwei Spiegeleier und Bartkartoffeln und einen Flammkuchen +Getränke (kleines Wasser, große Cola und zwei Bier) waren 63€ trotz leckerem Essen definitiv zu teuer.

Die Location ist sehr schön, jedoch das Preis Leistungsangebot nicht entsprechend zu den servierten Speisen. Hier würde ich für die teureren Speisen nicht nocheinmal einen Besuch wagen.
