Staff unfriendly, not eating again

Great location, slightly slow service

Fish was ok, the steak was chewy and not that great. Pretty unpleasant staff. I had to pick up every toy our children played with before I was allowed to pay.

The children's toys made the place pleasant while we waited for food, but the food was a disappointment. The meat was tough and one should expect day-fresh fish in a place so close to the sea. The employees walked around at a leisurely pace and we waited 20 minutes with children howling while we waited to pay. We didn't get it either until we had cleaned up the toys. All in all a bad experience.

Food: the fries were very tasty, there were problems with the fish sandwich (drags) and it wasn't quite to my taste, but it was very nicely prepared. Service: when complaining about the bread roll, it was very noticeable which employee was competent, friendly, helpful and committed. I would rate the one employee 10/10 stars. The other one wouldn't even get a 4/10 from me...

Nice restaurant right at the marina, moderate prices, nice service, highly recommended

Tables and the outside area were dingy, the service staff was moderately friendly but completely chaotic and overwhelmed. Well, and the food... the schnitzel was tough, the fried potatoes were soggy and the side salad we ordered (from a bag?) was boring. Price-performance ratio wasn't right here, unfortunately no recommendation.

We had the passat plate to go and were pleasantly surprised. The quality was great, the taste was good and the food arrived hot.

A friend's birthday party with a barbecue buffet and delicious drinks. DJ and dancing until 2am.

Had dinner there on a sunny day, at lunchtime, just before high season. A very friendly service offered us a place on the outside terrace. You quickly got the menu and requested drinks. The drinks were also delivered quickly. Food was very good. The fish was fried to perfection, the pickled meat was very good and there was nothing to complain about with the schnitzel either. There were good fried potatoes too. Prices were reasonable, I would be happy to come by again. Everything outside was very clean and tidy. Thanks for the nice service

A ray of hope in the chic mile! A real restaurant without any noble or post-modern pretensions. Not just fish sandwiches, also delicious fish dishes, etc. at moderate prices. The waitresses made every effort to accommodate the rush.

We were here several times last year and finally again on June 9th, 2024. The food remained the same, which means it was excellent. I think the prices stayed the same, but the staff wasn't the same anymore. But definitely not worse. Thank you for your speed, attention and kindness

We had lunch there on June 7th, 2024. We had the panfish with fried potatoes, the sour meat and the “praesi steak” (rump steak with mushrooms, onions and fried potatoes). Everything was of the best quality and extremely tasty. In addition, the portions were large and therefore more than sufficient. The service was very friendly and typically rustic North German.

The food was very tasty, unfortunately the dishes on the menu were no longer available without being informed before ordering. The staff seemed stressed, dishes came at different times. Although we had reserved 2.5 weeks in advance, we were seated at a table of 10 people that was far too small.

We went there for the barbecue buffet on vacation (reservation required) Very nice atmosphere, super nice staff and the buffet was really great It wasn't huge so that you were overwhelmed, but there was enough choice and something for everyone. If a container became empty, someone came immediately and refilled it I'm not a fan of grilled food, but I also had a good selection of really good food (fish platter, spaghetti, sour meat, labskaus, grilled steaks and sausages, various salads, dessert, bread basket) Price was great too And with the buffet there was a free bottle of mineral water, either sparkling or non-carbonated. Next year on vacation we will go there again

The Sailing Fair is a medium-sized restaurant on the Priwall Promenade. The dining room is nicely decorated and the service is quick and attentive. The menu itself includes a selection of pizzas, fish dishes, pasta, as well as currywurst & Co. The portions are large and do justice to an evening after a long day of sailing. The prices quoted are fair and completely acceptable.

We have been there three times now, even at short notice without a reservation. Everything was very tasty, including the fish sandwiches. Very nice staff, even when the restaurant is packed. The location is also always a pleasure for locals. Gladly again.

The first impression was friendly, our reserved table was still available despite our half-hour delay. The order was taken quickly and the drinks were quickly at the table. I don't want to go into much detail about the waiting time for the food, because when we asked, the food was brought within 5 minutes. The boss leaned over, leaning on our table, and explained to us rather rudely that there had been a lot going on and that we had to deal with longer waiting times. My hamburger was a disgrace, the patties were also a frozen product, poorly fried, rubbery in consistency, the bun came out of the bag (which doesn't have to be bad) and absolutely dry. I left half the burger behind. Unfortunately the service wasn't seen at all after the meal. No one asked if the food was tasty anyway. Our table, and not just ours, was not cleared even after paying. When we left the restaurant, the entire table was still full of dishes. Sorry, there was nothing going on and the service wasn't overwhelmed. I hope that the operator accepts this constructive criticism and wish him a good and successful season

Unfortunately I have to correct my review from last year. I guess the chef has changed, because I didn't know anything like that from this restaurant, which is a shame. Inedible, fried potatoes like rubber, fish burnt and dry, tomato slice bad, etc. Never again, had to struggle with nausea. A pity

The ambience on site is really nice. The fish rolls were super tasty, fresh and with a beautiful shell-shaped roll 👌🏼 After all, the eye eats too🥰

The journey from Travemünde to the Priwall by passenger ferry is worth visiting the sailing fair. Good food, nice service and great view.

Disappointing!!! We chose the restaurant based on the reviews, but that was a mistake. If you value quality, this is definitely the wrong choice in every respect. Unfortunately the beer we ordered wasn't available, an alternative was offered, okay. The meat/seafood at Surf and Turf was poor quality. Some of the scampi were still raw. Well, I guess we just had a bad day. This restaurant will definitely be avoided the next time you visit Priwall.

Very tasty food in a cozy, oldsculen restaurant. The service was very friendly, and in sunny weather it's definitely even more fun to sit right at the harbor. All in all, a nice evening.

Today we went to the sailing fair for the second time this week and had a delicious meal, great, very nice service and a great fishing spirit to round it off. A great down-to-earth, honest restaurant! We will be back definitely!!!

The sailing fair is always worth a visit. Honest, outstanding food. Especially fish and fried potatoes. It is to be hoped that this institution can resist the blunt commercialization of the Priwall for as long as possible. Without the sailing fair, the Priwall would no longer be what it is.

I just grabbed a quick fish sandwich with Bismarck herring and was thrilled. Great, slightly warmed roll with salad, onions and tomatoes, which is freshly prepared. Many a fish roll chain from the North Sea can take a page from this.

Gutes Essen für passende Preise

We were there for the “Dinner for One” event and we really enjoyed it. There are also many other events taking place there, we will be visiting these soon. Very nice restaurant with a view of the marina.

What we particularly like is the beautiful outdoor terrace with a view of the lively hustle and bustle.

Very nicely maritime decorated restaurant, menu offers something for everyone, whether pizza, pasta, fish, meat or vegetarian dishes. The service in our case was very nice and attentive, but not annoying. All in all a nice restaurant with reasonable prices and quality. We'd love to come back.

Wir waren am 2 Weihnachtsfeiertag 2023 zu fünft in der Seglermesse und ich muss sagen, die Rezession stimmen, es war mega lecker und kann es nur weiterempfehlen.

Super sted. God mad. Og en virkelig hyggelig ejer. Vi har nu kommet her hver gang vi er på julemarked og det bliver altid til 2 besøg på stedet. Den sidste gang havde de et stort selskab og alligevel fik de lavet plads til os i et tilstødende lokale så vi.kunne få noget at spise. Vi er glade for deres fisk med sennepssovs. Men de klarer også en god bøf. Så.vi vender tilbage.

Echt ein Geheimtipp wenn man auf der Ecke ist. Freundlichstes Personal und spitzen Essen. Sehr zu empfehlen.

Der erste Abend in Priwall und auf sein Bauchgefühl hören war eine gute Entscheidung. Ein gemütliches Restaurant mit freundlichem Personal und man fühlt sich wohl. Ich hatte das Präsi Steak und die Kellnerin hatte mich vergessen zu fragen was ich als Beilage möchte (Bratkartoffel stehen in der Karte). Bei mir wurden es dann Pommes, sie hatte auch kurz nach der Bestellung gefragt ob das okay sei. Von daher keine minus Punkte. Das Steak war zart und auf den Punkt Medium. Die Champignons waren frisch und nicht aus der Dose. Meine Frau hatte die Ofenkartoffel mit Gemüse und war auch zufrieden. Gemütliche Atmosphäre mit fairen Preisen (können laut Karte allerdings variieren), was in der heutigen Zeit nicht selbstverständlich ist. Absolut einen Besuch wert!

Ist sehr zu empfehlen, leckere deutsche Küche mit leckeren Bratkartoffeln (Präsi-Steak) und netten Personal. Waren begeistert im Gegensatz zur übrigen Gastronomie auf dem Priwall. Werden garantiert wieder dort einkehren

Solide Hausmannskost zu fairen Preisen und ausreichende Mengen. Service nett und aufmerksam. Modernes Ambiente ohne Etepetete zu sein.

Wir haben uns nicht willkommen gefühlt. Ein sehr plumper Service ohne ein Lächeln auf den Lippen. Es war eher so, dass wir schnell abgefrühstückt wurden. Als wir bezahlen wollten, wurde direkt die nächste Gruppe zu unserem Tisch gewiesen und die neuen Menükarten auf den Tisch gelegt, ohne dass wir Zeit hatten uns die Jacken anzuziehen.

Macht immer wieder Spaß, hier zu essen und das Essen schmeckt immer ausgezeichnet!!!

Wir kommen gerne in die Seglermesse. Die Bratkartoffeln sind großartig. Wenn der Hunger mal nicht allzu groß ist, ist das Pizzabrot zu empfehlen. Die Preise sind angemessen. Für die Kinder gibt es eine kleine Spielecke . Bedienung ist freundlich und die Toiletten sind sauber.

Absoluter Geheimtipp und faire Preise, Kinderlieb und nettes Personal.

Freundlicher Service und schnelle "Lieferung" obwohl viel Betrieb war. Das ist bemerkenswert. Das essen war gut und lecker und dem Preis angemessen.

Wir haben hier die leckersten Fischbrötchen gegessen. Würden jederzeit wiederkommen.

Ich kann das Jägerschnitzel empfehlen. Wahlweise mit Pommes oder Bratkartoffeln. Ich hatte Bratkartoffeln und die waren kross und sehr lecker. Alles in allem kann ich das Restaurant nur empfehlen. Reservierung ist von Vorteil

Wir hatten einen kleinen Jungen dabei, um den sich auch liebevoll gekümmert wurde. Alles war sehr angenehm und das Essen sehr gut.

Bewerten wir jetzt erstmal das Essen. Dieses war hervorragend mal abgesehen davon das die Bratkartoffeln etwas mehr Salz hätten haben können. Das Ambiente passt zum Namen und zur Lage direkt am Hafen. Der Service das üben wir aber noch mal. Das Essen kam schnell und es wurde auch schnell abgeräumt. Aber das ich zum Bezahlen auch noch hinterher laufen muss und der Bedienung noch aufzählen musste was wir bestellt hatten, das habe ich noch nie erlebt. 3 Leute +1 Barmann aber keiner bekommt es Zeitnah auf die Reihe die Tische abzukassieren.

Gutes Preis/Leistungsverhältnis. Alle Speisen waren gut bürgerlich und ausreichend. Personal auch freundlich. Klare Weiterempfehlung.
