Very good food and good staff you have to try it

Ate Kibbelinge there. They were extremely greasy. What was noticeable was that there was no cash register, so no receipt, card payment was not possible. Apparently the tax office took everything. A handwritten receipt was available upon request, but no stamp Communication was hardly possible in German, they are Asian, but English is possible.

Was there with my partner. We ordered a fish sandwich and fries with currywurst. My partner ordered the fish sandwich. He found it edible, but absolutely not tasty. The bun was rubbery and the fish was probably not fried for the first time. My fries with currywurst were inedible. Fries completely over salted. The sausage wasn't a bratwurst but a Kraków sausage, which I don't like. We were served by a very unfriendly Asian man. When he brought us food, I was given two knives as cutlery. When I pointed this out to him, he rudely told me to come in and get a fork myself. Phew, that was a bad start. Then came the inedible food... I kindly wanted to go back after trying three fries. The unpleasant gentleman then started arguing loudly and called me an asshole because I didn't like his food. I tried to remain friendly, but the gentleman wouldn't let up. So my partner and I fled. Never again Aquaman!!!

Unfortunately, I wouldn't recommend it. Worst fish sandwich in years. You can't really go wrong with it. The toppings were poor, the roll was hard and seemed to have been refried from the day before. Not great service either. A shame. It spoiled my day on Norderney a bit.

Matjes rolls were great, I ate two every day

I went on a school trip to Norderney and it was really great. However, this store really made our mood worse. The salesman was very unfriendly and almost racist. My friend wanted to throw away her trash (we also wanted to buy fish sandwiches) and opened the door. A dog ran out (it wasn't on a leash and we had no idea there was a dog there.) Afterwards the owner, including the seller, really scolded us because we Apparently they let the dog out (<-- It ran out itself, it wasn't on a leash!). I'm Asian and the seller then looked at me angrily and insulted me (bad, no longer normal: used swear words and also racism). I find this unacceptable and the seller also insulted a classmate of mine the previous day. I don't recommend this store! (I've tried to send my comment several times but it doesn't get accepted all the time.)

One star is still too many. My wife and daughter had a fish cake (5€) and I had kibbeling (5 small pieces 6€), everything ended up in the trash can because it was inedible. Fish cakes and tingling totally dry, chewy, rancid taste, disgusting aftertaste. In addition, the place is dirty and run down. Stay away from this dirty stable!🤮

Very, very poor quality food for way too much money! Overpriced food!

Backfisch and Kipplinge were quite good, not very good, but good. Beer batter, fish and frying fat tasted completely ok and were fresh. I liked the fries, but they were a little too salty for my husband. Wedges were ok, the fried potatoes were a bit floating in the fat. So: We'll be happy to get fried fish with fries to take away again.

Unfortunately overpriced and poor quality. €14 for kibbeling with fries, the breading was way too thick and greasy, the fries were small and hard.

I cannot recommend this store! Totally rancid and unhygienic. I ordered a smoked salmon roll which was returned straight away because there was a long black hair in the fish! I got a new roll after that, but it was so heavy on my stomach that I threw it all out again. (My husband's fried fish was ok.)

Great fish, good price, but not a real restaurant

Quite a nice snack, but you shouldn't have high expectations. Fish sandwiches and fries are okay, employees are semi-friendly, but the customer toilet is substandard.

The fish cake was sickening. The worst I've ever eaten. But luckily the bun was good. 5 euros. Thumbs 👎

It's a shame you can't give 0 stars. Apart from the disgusting frozen food, the service was also very unfriendly. A good mood is a foreign word there, as is friendliness and service. Once and never again!

Good morning! There was zero motivation in the operation. Problems in communication, let alone the appearance of a colleague Taste was ok. The fried fish and the Mattjes were pretty tasty Toilet wasn't clean either I really liked the decoration in the restaurant. Unfortunately that was the case Eating is more fun somewhere else!

The worst fish cake I've ever eaten, complete impudence to offer something like that! Both rolls went straight back. Generally, super unhygienic store.

The best fried fish on the island!

Currywurst, fries mayo ordered for a reasonable €10. It was a cheap ham sausage with warm ketchup on top. So no bratwurst and certainly no CURRY sauce. Fries were okay but there was also ketchup instead of mayo. Service very unfriendly and hectic. 10€ for that… it was definitely the first and last time. The shop is also very run down and makes an unhygienic impression.

Very very unfriendly service. We (2 adults, 2 children) wanted to order food to eat there. Unfortunately we were shouted at and chased away. We are only allowed to sit inside if we order menus. I have no understanding for. We paid more than 1 person with one menu. This is an absolute disgrace. The taste wasn't the best either. The guests behind us were also treated poorly.

Simply not tasty and the quality didn't convince me, not at all...

Once and never again. My girlfriend and I already sat down at one of the tables to wait while my mother ordered us food. We were then told in a very rude tone that we didn't have to sit there if we didn't drink anything. We then got the wrong food (fried fish in a roll instead of fried fish with potato salad) We pointed this out to him and he said “that’s what they ordered” Other guests next to us said that they also didn't get the dishes they ordered. So we went back to the counter, described the same problem, and got an even sturdier answer. We were then immediately called on our first names and he simply took the right to do so. We pointed out to him the problem and that other guests also had to complain about it. Instead of him simply taking the fried fish out of the roll, putting it on a plate with potato salad and giving it to us, we were told by the flower that we were too stupid to order properly. “The boards outside are no longer up to date anyway” If only it had at least been tasty, but that wasn't the case. It was dripping with grease and the bun was yesterday's, tartar sauce from a tube. I wanted to throw the sandwich into his arrogant face. I can only advise everyone against this disgust and recommend walking a few meters further to Gosch.

Very nice people! But somehow it's still better to take a fish sandwich with you than sit in and eat from the menu. 🤔

Rude, arrogant and the food is greasy and tartar sauce is not homemade.

For me, the adjacent street shop “Verleihnix” has the best fish sandwiches on the island

Bester Fischladen auf Norderney vielleicht nicht das Ambiente wie Gosch aber Preis/Leistung und Geschmack stimmen. Der Chef ist ein Unikat und sehr sympathisch auch wenn er halt speziell ist. Sehr empfehlenswert und jede Unterhaltung mit ihm wert

So ein unfreundlicher Chef. Kinder/Kinder Wagen sind nicht willkommen. Noch nicht mal anständige Fischbrötchen hatten die. Einfach nicht zu empfehlen. Weiter laufen!!!!
