Goldy in Norderney

We were at Goldy on Sunday. The food was great. The burgers were super tasty and the fries were sensational. Could only be topped by the super friendly & super attentive service. Thanks so much!

I would like to add half a star more to this Octopussy arm. The Goldy concept is platinum! The team is platinum+ (guys, I have rarely seen so much joy at work)! The offer... I can't find the right superlative. Anyone who thinks it's just hamburgers and a little salad has never prepared my favorite dish themselves. If things don't develop their own style, they're just there. Yours are so powerful that I would invent warp drive if I lived on the other side of the galaxy. The ambience...it reminded me of my favorite little shops in a faraway land called Holland. That's how I like it, uncomplicated, honest... with one tiny, very personal downer: the espresso machine, i.e. the missing one... I like my sugar with coffee and cream... Thanks also for the tip about the beer that I needed for a sauce. And again at Goldy's and it's even better. That's amazing, as is the increase in friendliness in the service, which I found outstanding last time

The currywurst sauce was a bit too spicy for us

The problem with the concept is that the prices make you think you're getting a fancy premium burger and fries. The food is ok but not great and the price is way too high in comparison. So the price-performance ratio doesn't suit me. The burger would have been better with less sauce so that the remaining ingredients could be tasted and better buns (brioche)

Unfortunately not so happy this time. Unfortunately, the meat in all three burgers was very dry and fried for too long. But the fries were good and not the standard but made from direct potatoes. The service was friendly and the atmosphere is still very nice.

Unfortunately, I can only agree with the previous speaker. In the In the first year it was THE place for great burgers and fries but unfortunately it has declined significantly. The variation of the burgers is a matter of taste, but the meat was reduced in favor of the cheaper fried onions and the rest of the toppings were also more generous. So the ratio of bun to meat is no longer correct and you're just chewing on a dry bun. The fries themselves are world class. They taste very good to me with the sauce but they were also cut a lot. I hope that the store gets back on track because, in my opinion, the concept and presentation are a real asset. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you.

Unfortunately it has gotten worse over time; At the opening there was a creative selection of burgers, today unfortunately you just get what you get everywhere. That wouldn't actually be so bad if the quality and price were right. Unfortunately, the price is simply too high for the quality and selection offered.

As big fans and regular guests, we were extremely disappointed this week: We were there twice this week in vain: on Tuesday there was a sign closed due to illness on Tuesday and Wednesday. Well, we thought, let's try again today: Thursday: We called ahead and looked on the Internet. Internet: no notice, call: standard announcement: just drop by: Excessive disappointment on site: only to go. Your burgers are fantastic, but you won't be seeing us again anytime soon. It's less about the fact that you may actually not be able to offer the full service due to illness, but rather that this isn't communicated correctly.

Best burgers on Norderney Very tasty burgers in a nice and modern atmosphere. The staff is also very nice. There is some self-service, but the food is ordered at the table. Will definitely come back.

Unfortunately it has deteriorated a lot...burger was lukewarm, not a particularly tasty experience which you should expect for the price...French fries were good.. 20 minutes waiting time to place an order is clearly too long...

It's worth it! Good quality, burger meat and buns from the region. Always a good sign when all the seats are occupied and new guests are already waiting patiently outside.

Eigentlich als spontane Idee zum Abend gedacht, entpuppte sich das Goldy als absolutes Highlight! Die offene Küche und engagierten Köche sind schon ein Highlight aber der Burger war mit Abstand einer der Besten Burger die wir essen durften! Die Beilagen sind kreativ, frisch und einfach sensationell! Eine absolute Empfehlung für ein unkompliziertes Abendessen!

The taste of the food was ok. You can choose between 120g and 180g patty. So you should definitely order a side dish with it. It's just a shame when the dip comes with the side dish at the same time as the burger, but the side dish itself only comes after the waitress thought we wanted to pay. We had no way of telling us that something was missing due to the waitress's ignorance. The woman would much rather take as many orders from other customers as quickly as possible. As soon as something was ordered, the customers were ignored by her.

Everything was great on the second visit 👌 Delicious burgers 🍔 and super delicious Hot 🔥 Cheese Fingers that are nice and spicy 🌶️.

Super slow, we waited over 40 minutes for our food (2 people) on a Thursday. Very sad when online orders are given priority.

Unfortunately, the service has deteriorated significantly. The restaurant was completely overcrowded, loud and dirty. The staff is completely understaffed and overwhelmed due to language barriers. For the price you pay for a burger there, you expect a lot more. We would be happy if we could give a better review on our next visit.

This was one of the best hamburgers I have ever eaten. My wife and I have eaten hamburgers in California, Canada and Switzerland, for example, and it was really a hit

I've been to Norderney so many times. My last visit took me to this restaurant. We were blown away. The burgers are amazing! The fries with special sauces and cheese etc are unique. Best burger I've ever eaten. We even ended up there again the next day 😀 The waiters are all friendly and accommodating, the food comes quickly. Keep it up !

Quality of the food excellent. Staff super friendly and quick. However, very, very expensive. Small cheeseburger 15€ and small also means small, 2 bites and it's gone. Two stars deducted only because of the very, very high prices. Not feasible as a family, you'll easily lose €100 for a "snack" with drinks...

First of all: we were very satisfied with everything. The burgers & sides were delicious. What disappointed us as a group of 3 adults and 3 small children was that we came across the restaurant via Instagram and it was explicitly advertising a children's menu back in March. But that didn't exist. We were then told it wasn't a problem, the children should order the mid-size burger and there would be a small portion of fries with it. In the end we paid the price for the mid-size burger and the normal portion of fries (which also came - we were still wondering why it was so much). So the “children’s menu” cost €20.80 (burger, fries + ketchup mayonnaise) and that’s a lot for a 4-year-old child. Especially since both are simply not possible at that age. A mini portion of fries with the burger would have done the trick.

Were here for the first time and ended up at Goldy. Cool location. Had the daily burger which was very tasty, as were the fries. You get full without any problems. Service staff are very friendly. Price-performance ratio is okay, it is generally a bit more expensive on the island.

Very nice restaurant that caters to special requests. The selection of drinks is very good compared to other restaurants. The food also looked very good, I would like to see more vegan options in the future. The food was very fresh and prepared from fresh ingredients. I came for the chicken sticks with honey chili mayo but ordered the truffle and egg burger it was Buzzing! I can recommend going for a nice cocktail alongside your burger of choice! It's not a fast food place but damn they serve up fast ! My girlfriend is vegan and struggled to find sth. nice on the island but the team made her something off the menu !! Big up in service and I did not feel overcharged at the end. P.s. best playlist on the 🏝️

Very cool restaurant. The prices are perfectly fine. There are no fries as a side dish with the burgers. We ordered more fries per person, but the portions were really large. Would recommend 1 portion of fries for 2 people (tip: sweet potato fries).

Everything is just great. I'm shocked. Of all the restaurants and etc. in Norderney, the EIF have the best and friendliest staff and the craziest atmosphere and the most perfect food. Respect!!!! Prices are really reasonable and the food is really filling. The 5 stars are fair.

Visited again today at lunchtime. Great ambience, lots of space and friendly service. The louder music fits the concept. The cheeseburger was very tasty, the fries were super crispy and fresh. I don't understand why hardly any guests come there at lunchtime, it's probably due to the older semesters on Norderney. Please support the locality...keep it up

Super lecker, burger is qualitativ sehr gut. Uns bei 15 euro lohnt sich das da man ein ECHTEN burger bekommt. Was mir auch besonders gut gefallen hat ist die ambiente und sauberkeit der laden.

We always like to stop here for dinner. If necessary, you should be there early, as the Goldy tends to be busy and the seats are of course limited. The food has always been fresh and tasty and the portions have been more than sufficient. The price-performance ratio is definitely right here and we will definitely come back on our next vacation.

Stopped here for refreshments after an extensive bike tour. That was the best decision. Everything was delicious, crispy and fresh. Staff friendly and funny. If we were here again, we would definitely come back. We were there at 2 p.m., no waiting time and plenty of space.

Four people paid €110 for the meal and were all still hungry after leaving the restaurant. Burger bun absolutely dry, the rest of the burger was good and attractively prepared. A chicken burger that I ordered was an absolute disgrace! €15.90 for a palm-sized burger, with little to no toppings. All in all, absolutely not recommended for the price. Service was very friendly and the atmosphere was nice. The price had to be paid at the checkout at the front. An overpriced chip shop with an upscale atmosphere.

Ingredients are really fresh and tasty, but the meat can't even keep up with McDonald's, it's pressed like a frozen burger and fried to death. Anyone who has ever eaten good burgers will be disappointed here. Of course, I gave the feedback directly to the waitress, but I didn't have the feeling that it was accepted.

Best burger place I've ever visited. No comparison with the standard burger stuff from all the restaurant chains. Service very good. Wine is also very good - you can get it in better restaurants. Music a bit loud, but it was fine for us. Definitely coming back. Price performance also suitable.

Very nice burger restaurant. Very friendly staff. The food was delicious. And it came quickly even though there were a lot of us. There was also a selection of dishes for vegans and vegetarians.

The service was really friendly and accommodating, that was true. The restaurant was about 1/3 full. The music was too loud and I would say inappropriate for a bar. The glass of wine 0.2 liters from a winery in the middle range, €9.90. !!!!! We then went straight to a restaurant that had higher-end wineries, where a glass of the same content cost an average of €1.5 less.

We went to Goldy for dinner today. Chipotle Burger 🍔 and Cesar Salad 🥗 with chicken. It was super tasty. The hosts are very friendly. You feel comfortable in the pleasant atmosphere.

The cheeseburger was MEGA, sweet potatoes with parmesan mayo and normal fries with parmesan mayo, red onions and parsley, which was rounded off with a Störtebecker black beer. We sat at the back left of the restaurant. Where the stairs go down (toilet) it is a bit cool.

Wir waren mit 4 Erwachsenen und 5 Kids dort. Es hat allen gefallen und gescheckt. Sehr gute Burger-Auswahl und nicht nur die üblichen Softdrinks! Wir kommen gern wieder.

Alles Top! Das waren mit die besten Burger, die wir je gegessen haben. Einfach super lecker. Dazu noch die knusprigen Pommes und super freundlicher Service, macht einen perfekten Abend. Wir sind gleich am nächsten Abend wieder gekommen.

Goldy ist ein wirklicher Geheimtipp für Burgerfans auf Norderney! Die einzelnen Burgervarianten, auch die sehr pikante vegetarische, werden in der vom Restaurant aus einsehbaren Küche frisch zubereitet. Eine solche Qualität an "Fastfood" ist nirgendwo sonst zu finden: Die Burger sind wahnsinnig lecker und vor allem reichlich garniert! Die MitarbeiterInnen sind zudem sehr nett und locker drauf - bei Goldys wird der Gast geduzt. So muss Burger!!!

Wer Burger mag, wird Goldys lieben! Bestes Melonenpatty, das ich jemals gegessen habe! Richtig gut!

Sehr sehr gute Burger zu einem guten Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Fabelhaft zubereitet, ordentliche Fleischpattys, sehr leckere Soßen und dazu die leckeren Röstzwiebel: richtig gut. Netter Service, cooles Ambiente, man fühlt sich direkt wie zu Hause. Ihr macht das super, weiter so!

Meiner Meinung nach wirklich der beste Burger auf der Insel !! Kann ich nur empfehlen.Auch einige kleine Änderungen wurden ohne zu murren und Augendrehen sofort erledigt!!! TOP 👍

Bester Burgerladen ever-habe noch nie einen leckereren Burger gegessen, auch der Preis für den Classic Burger in Höhe von 12,90€ ist gerade für Norderney absolut okay, da meines Erachtens nach hervorragende Produkte verwendet werden; zudem sind dort alle superfreundlich und gut drauf und man fühlt sich wirklich willkommen; beim nächsten Norderney Urlaub komm ich auf jeden Fall wieder

Freundliche Mitarbeiter und gute Atmosphäre. Getränke können selbstständig aus dem Kühlschrank genommen werden. Wir haben uns als Vegetarier für den einzigen vegetarischen Burger auf der Karte entschieden, den Smoked Melon Burger entschieden, einen Burger mit geräuchertem Melonen-Patty im Kräuter-Bun und Parmesan-Mayo und Oliven. Dazu haben wir klassische Pommes bestellt. Als wir bestellt haben, wurde und mitgeteilt, dass der Burger kalt serviert wird. Leider sah der Burger beim Servieren nur trostlos und klein aus und war persönlich leider gar nicht mein Fall. Zudem finde ich den Preis von 16€ viel zu hoch bemessen für einen Burger in dem Ausmaß im Vergleich zu anderen Burgern. Ich persönlich würde mir gängigere Veggie-Burger wünschen (Falafel, Halloumi etc.). Die Pommes waren jedenfalls sehr, sehr lecker und nur weiter zu empfehlen.

Nettes Personal, Imbiss-Atmosphäre und symphatisch entspannte Getränke Selbstbedienung. Die Pommes sind überragend, der Melonen Burger war jedoch wirklich gewöhnungsbedürftig und wird von mir auf jeden Fall nicht wieder bestellt. Dafür auch wirklich teuer! Vielleicht wäre ein klassischer Hallumi Burger da die bessere Alternative für Vegetarier? Aber ansonsten wirklich top!

Wir müssten ca 15 min draußen anstehen Um ein Sitz Platz dort zubekommen. Dafür hingegen kam das Essen sehr schnell. Es ist nicht vergleichbar mit einem Schnell Restaurant. Es wird geworben mit den Slogan "Bester Bürger auf der Insel" das wird wohl auch so sein ohne Frage. Es ist zwar nicht der Beste Bürger Deutschland weit aber man kann das essen nur loben. Empfehlenswert sind die Pommes mit Käse Soße. Die Getränke sind selbst Bedienung an den Großen Kühlschrank. Reichlich Auswahl für jeden was dabei. Fazit ; Essen Top, Kellner Super freundlich und hilfsbereit (auch Umstellung der Gerichte möglich) das Einzige was ein wenig zu bemängeln ist sind die Preise die etwas zu hoch sind ,was aber an den Tourismus Insel Preisen liegt. Müsst ihr wissen,aber einmal sollte man dort auf jeden gewesen sein

Das Essen ist zwar super lecker, besonders die Pommes. Leider ist der einzige vegetarische Burger sehr exotisch. Das ist sehr schade, denn das trifft nicht jeden Geschmack. Einfacher wäre es einen Beyond-Meat-Patty für alle Burger anzubieten.

Wir haben uns Burger to go geholt, inkl. dem Kidsmenu. Die Burger waren echt super lecker und das Kidsmenu war von der Größe her perfekt.
