A terrible experience. We arrived early because we were taking the train to Munich. I spoke to the woman at the front desk. Her answers were very brusque and generally unfriendly. We agreed to leave our key in the outside lockbox, as it was still too early to check in. When we returned around 10 p.m., we picked up the key card, which had a note with the room number on it. After several unsuccessful attempts to open the room, a man came out, thinking we were trying to break into his room. It turned out we'd been given a room that was already occupied. We tried to find staff, but it seemed everyone had already left. Luckily, we met someone from the bar who was just about to finish work. He was very embarrassed and apologetic. He tried to reach the person in charge but couldn't get through. Fortunately, he was able to get us a new room after all. Had we arrived any later, we would have had to spend the night without a room and with all our luggage. The next morning, I brought the complaint to the front desk. The man working there apologized and offered to refund our breakfast. However, it turned out that breakfast was included anyway, so it didn't make a difference. The woman who made the mistake with the room key hid in the back room rather than come out, apologize, or take responsibility. She completely ignored us. We will not be returning. Overall, it was a very poor experience. The two men, who were apparently new to the team, were helpful, but the rest of the staff was very disappointing. I would recommend choosing one of the other hotels nearby.

Incredibly beautiful location on the lake, with a view of the mountains as well. With such distinctive locations, you know as a guest that you're paying for it, and that's fine – but you shouldn't have to feel like a beggar to gain entry to the beer garden. The people walking towards the castle want to get through, and you end up standing there like an idiot waiting for a table. The food, however, was very tasty.

A dream wedding venue, right next to the registry office. We were invited and are returning home with beautiful memories of Lake Ammersee and the delicious food at the Seehof. We'll be back!

Restaurant review (not hotel!): The location made up for a lot – right on the lakeshore, simply top-notch! But: both the service and the "food" (in our case, a banal iced coffee) left a lot to be desired. We ordered (after some waiting...) three iced coffees and one bottle of water. We were brought one bottle of water and one glass. For three people. Upon request, we actually got a second glass... Then the iced coffee: it arrived long after the water and apparently sat for a while before being picked up. The ice was completely melted, no trace of "ice." Unfortunately, we also encountered the arrogance that has been described many times before. So: the location was absolutely top-notch – the rest, unfortunately, was a flop!

On a beautiful sunny day, we wanted to enjoy a cold beer and a meal in the beer garden by the lake. I've never eaten so badly and so expensively in a beer garden. Is this beer garden—as beautiful as it is on the lakeshore—just a tourist rip-off? I really can't recommend a visit there!

One of the worst Kaiserschmarrn I've ever had, and I've lived in Bavaria for 30 years and eaten there many times. I have no idea what was mixed into this, but it simply tastes like nothing.

We only used the restaurant, so I'm only reviewing our stay there. The outdoor area is beautiful. Located right on the water, you have a wonderful view of Lake Ammersee, and in good weather, you can even see the mountains in the distance. The garden was full. The waiters have a touch of arrogance, and as a guest, you get the feeling that this is a mass-processing operation. I ordered Sauerbraten (sauerbraten); the portion was very generous and very tasty, but unfortunately only lukewarm. When clearing the table, we weren't asked if everything was okay and if we enjoyed it. This, for me, was the hallmark of mass processing. In good restaurants, a server always comes by and asks if everything is OK. At least, that's what we experienced the day before at another restaurant. During the payment process, the bill amount was only shown to us electronically. When I asked, I was promised an invoice or receipt, but even after 15 minutes, no one came back to the table with one. Since many visitors were waiting for a free seat at the entrance, we didn't want to hold up our table any longer simply waiting for the bill, so we left without a receipt. Overall, I found our experience at Restaurant Seehof to be rather below average; the location alone is – as described – fantastic.

The location was nice and nice by the lake, BUT... the food was not at all convincing. Cheese spaetzle that were swimming in fat, no seasoning, and at almost €20 more expensive than a roast pork. I wouldn't recommend it. Service was okay, but the wait was very long even though it wasn't too busy. One meal was completely forgotten, and even when it arrived, it was not at all convincing. On the plus side, they offered a coffee as an apology. All in all, I won't be repeating.

Very long wait for one sandwich. Not recommended.

I'm only rating the beer garden! Paying for a beer and a meatloaf sandwich at two different cash registers. The meatloaf sandwich takes about 10 minutes. When picking up the sandwich, I was asked about the mustard... I had to ask because I had to pay for it. A well-organized beer garden operates differently! 2 points after all for the beautiful view of the lake.

Beer garden with a direct view of Lake Ammersee. We reserved a spot before the boat trip – it worked out perfectly! Very friendly service, very good food – but nothing "special," and prices are correspondingly high – just a typical day-trip restaurant.

Eight of us ate at the restaurant on August 12, 2025, at 12 p.m. We had to wait an hour for the food, and it was still lukewarm! The spaetzle were very doughy—inedible! The waiter just shrugged his shoulders after we criticized this. The next day, on August 13, 2025, my girlfriend went there again and ordered a Spezi and a sausage salad (the currywurst was from around 1:30 p.m.) from the self-service section and got a beeper. After waiting 30 minutes, my girlfriend asked where the Spezi was. She was then reprimanded for having no manners!!! Afterward, she was very upset and left the beer garden without getting anything (she paid around €23). We hope things change! Sincerely, Christian Schneider

The food was a disaster: the meat at the bakery was raw, the salad had rotten leaves in it, and the shandy had already gone bad, making it inedible.

Everything here is top-notch! 👍🏻 As guests at the hotel, we were in excellent hands. Friendly staff, requests were immediately fulfilled... The food here is absolutely delicious! Great service... This was our second time here and certainly won't be the last 😀 Thank you Seehof :)

The best location in Herrsching for dining, with a view of the pier. The food is reminiscent of Lidl frozen food packages; nothing particularly special in terms of quality.

At 12 noon, I didn't get anything to eat, and the staff was unfriendly. What kind of restaurant is this that doesn't have any food either in the fast-service or in the dine-in area, and can't even promise a snack in 1.5 hours, even though the place was only half full.

Quality of ingredients & meals way below average. Service just ok. Location is nice of course, but instead of using it to attract tourists you should respect it and offer a better culinary experience. For people looking at this review: just select another one. Really.

I just want to review the restaurant. A week ago, my mother and I stopped in for lunch during a trip. The food was abysmal. Cheese spaetzle (never homemade in a million years) were swimming in grease, sprinkled with completely charred, rancid-tasting fried onions. Essentially inedible. The fried fish was borderline overcooked, with a nasty coating. The potato salad wasn't freshly made! With two fruit juice spritzers, we spent 41!! euros, with the most outrageous being 13.90 for a small portion of spaetzle. Unbelievable and outrageous for such poor food. Never again. It's a day trip restaurant, so they can obviously do it. What a shame.

Had a table for a family gathering - excellent fast & friendly service. Food was good, not 5-star cuisine, but good. The roast pork should have had more crust and a darker sauce for my liking.

We attended a summer musicians' get-together in the garden and were very pleased with the service. Along with the delicious beer, we enjoyed the bread platter, which we found very varied. We just wished for more of a pickle; there were only two small slices. The bread was plentiful and freshly sliced. We felt "sauguad" the entire evening, as the Bavarian saying goes! We'll definitely be back!

I'll only review one dish here, the beef goulash, dubbed a "classic home cooking": Unfortunately, the two bread dumplings that came with it were the absolute smallest I've ever seen anywhere. The portion itself is also really small. A man definitely won't get full here. The rich sauce doesn't make up for it, and it didn't taste savory or even paprika-like at all. It's a shame. The meat was good and braised tenderly in places. The reasonable price can only be attributed to the location. I won't be coming here again for personal reasons.

My girlfriend and I went there for dinner and were pleasantly surprised by the service: super friendly, attentive, and fast – you feel truly welcome as a guest! Unfortunately, the food didn't live up to this positive impression. The schnitzel was dry, the breading was crispy, but the taste was simply bland. The potato salad seemed rather unloving, and the combination of lemon and cranberries unfortunately didn't add anything to it. The second dish also looked good, but the taste was very subdued – the meat was rather tough, the sauce was watery, and the spaetzle had hardly any flavor of its own. Overall, everything seemed more like mass production than a love of cooking. It's a shame, because the ambiance is great, and many other restaurants could learn a thing or two about the service. If the kitchen followed suit, it would certainly be a really great place to relax.

I complained about the dumplings last year. This year we've eaten there three times already, and no matter what we ordered, everything was excellent. The Seehof team has brought the quality to a high standard. We'll definitely be back this week. The service is also considerably better.

The food was good. It only arrived after repeated requests, and the drinks ultimately didn't arrive. Excuse me? No luck. It's very busy. The first members of our group had finished eating, and we had nothing to eat or drink.

The food in the restaurant was rather run-of-the-mill. In my opinion, the price/performance ratio wasn't good. Furthermore, the food arrived lukewarm and soggy. We won't be coming back.

The restaurant's ambiance is appealing and inviting, but unfortunately, our visit wasn't entirely convincing. The menu sounded promising, but the portions were disappointingly small—especially considering the relatively high prices. While the food tasted good, the value for money left much to be desired. Another disappointment was the service: At one point, we had to wait an unusually long time for someone to attend to us. The team seemed friendly, but they were obviously very busy. Overall, a mixed impression—with potential for improvement if they refine portion sizes and service processes.

Especially in summer, the location right on the lake is of course fantastic! We visited twice this year with a group and both times the service was (very) attentive, quick, and friendly. Unfortunately, the food isn't always top-notch—we would classify it as "solid" (e.g., the burgers were overcooked, the fried chicken was a bit dry, and the quality of the ingredients for the snack board had unfortunately declined). But stopping here in the evening and enjoying the sunset, the lake, and the promenade is definitely something!

Beautiful location, terrible food – even quiet children are apparently not welcome – probably the wrong revenue expectation. Well, it fits with the unfriendliness of the service staff. The worst review I've ever given.

Wir waren am Ostermontag im Außenbereich der Gastronomie und wollten eine Kleinigkeit "Essen und Trinken". Nachdem wir mehr als 20 Minuten gewartet haben, sind wir wieder aufgestanden. Es gingen mehrere Kellner an uns vorbei und ignorierten uns. Kein freundliches "Grüß Gott" oder "Willkommen". Wie es scheint, hat der Seehof es nicht nötig. Wir kommen definitiv nicht mehr wieder.

Wir hatten das Glück, einen herrlichen Tisch mit Blick auf den See zu bekommen. Auch das kulinarische Angebot und der Service dieses Hauses haben uns überzeugt. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Die parkplatznahe Lage an der Seepromenade und am Schiffsanleger ist natürlich dergestalt, dass es die Kundschaft pausenlos wie von selbst in den "Seehof" zieht - zumal an sonnigen Wochenenden. Die Qualität der Speisen empfanden wir als recht ordentlich, ohne große Ausreißer nach oben oder unten. Besonders das Saiblingfilet kam auf den Punkt gegart auf den Tisch, das Wurzelgemüse dazu frisch und knackig. Die große Getränkekarte mit vielfältiger Weinauswahl fanden wir überraschend, die Preise ingesamt für das Gebotene sportlich, aber noch im Rahmen des Üblichen. Warum allerdings ein banaler Espresso 3,10 € und der Cappuccino 4,60 € kosten müssen? Was uns jedoch wirklich störte war die miese Laune des Servicepersonals (von drei verschiedenen männliche Mitarbeitern): Von Anfang bis Ende nicht die Spur eines Lächelns, dafür belehrender bis ruppiger Tonfall - Achtung, ein Gast droht mit Bestellung! Als wir uns gar erlaubten, die aus unserer Sicht etwas lange Wartezeit zu erwähnen, wurde uns anstatt einer freundlichen Entschuldigung allen Ernstes minutengenau vorgerechnet, wie "kurz" diese tatsächlich gewesen sei. Danke, brauchen wir so nicht noch einmal.

Today January 30th We were in a small group of 7 at the Seehof and played on the curling rink before dinner. It was a great experience - the rink is beautifully located and the curling director did a great job! Unfortunately, our experience in the restaurant was not so positive. Even though we had reserved in advance, no one thought it necessary to inform us that the kitchen closes at 9 p.m. You could almost think it wasn't intentional. Shortly before 9:00 p.m. we went to the dining room and ordered our drinks. When these were served and we wanted to order our food, we were told curtly: "The kitchen is closed from 9 p.m.." When we asked whether a small cheese plate might be possible - without much effort - unfortunately there was only one a clear “no”. Conclusion: • Location: Very good • Curling: Good to very good, the leader in particular was top • Gastronomy: Unfortunately inflexible and little effort is made to accommodate the guests It's a shame, with a little more hospitality there would certainly have been a better rating.

Well located shop, unfortunately you feel unwelcome. We waited 25 minutes for our order to be taken. Not so crazy so far, but the two older waiters really didn't feel like working. And the restaurant wasn't even 1/3 full. In the middle of our order the waiter wanted to run away... when I then ordered decaffeinated coffee, it was received very reluctantly. When hot water and a bag of bean powder came from Kaffe Hag for just EUR 4.40, I was really surprised, and not in a positive way. I had to let it go back. That wasn't on the menu. Sorry... a nice and well-located shop... but if the waiters don't want to... it's no use. The young service employee was really nice and friendly.... I mean, you can always have a stupid day, but both older waiters are in a bad mood, and you have to take it out on the customer... it doesn't have to be that way.

Edited for newest visit: Really nice restaurant, lovely food and great service. We celebrated new years eve 2025 here just today and had a blast 🙌 🍀🎉 We had an amazing time and it won't be our last new year's eve here 😀 . Great live music and amazing food and service! Top!

Original dialogue during my visit to the restaurant in the morning at 10:30 a.m. with an unmotivated waiter: Me: Hello, I would like a coffee and a cake please; Which one do you have today? Waiter: We don't have any cake. Me: Then could I please have the Kaiserschmarrn off the menu? Waiter: That doesn't exist either. Me: And the apple strudel? Waiter: Neither. Me: What can I eat at your place then? Waiter: The kitchen doesn't open until 11:30. This is reminiscent of the “charm” of a Mitropa restaurant in East Berlin during the GDR era. By the way: The mug of coffee I ordered for €4.40 turned out to be a normal small cup - and also tasted awfully bitter. My conclusion: It seems to be a restaurant where hospitable service and good coffee are obviously not necessary. For my part, I don't feel the need to visit this restaurant again. But I think it's necessary to let others know what to expect there - hence this review.

We spent a lovely evening in the restaurant, which was completely harmonious. The service was routinely friendly and the atmosphere was warm and cozy. The drinks and food came very quickly. As a starter we had a homemade beef bouillon with pancake strips, which was very well seasoned and really hot! The main courses were a super delicious Ammersee char whole fried with boiled potatoes and vegetables and a trilogy of bread dumplings - both simply delicious! At the end we wanted to share a chocolate cake, but we also got a delicious apple strudel on the house. It was rounded off by two very fine fruit schnapps. The prices were absolutely right and we went home full and more than satisfied.

Food in the beer garden is not food. I don't know who gets the food and concentrates on the worst products and prepares them even worse. The currywurst was a complete disaster. My fried chicken couldn't have been drier. So if you want to spend a lot of money on bad food then you can do that here. Otherwise, I recommend just having a drink there and taking a pizza from next door.

If you have a complaint you won't even get an answer - never this hotel again

Very friendly service and the roast pork, ox cheeks and liver spaetzle soup were very tasty. Despite the concert and overcrowding, a place was found for us by postponing reservations. I can't explain where the bad reviews come from here.

We were in the restaurant today. The fish platter for my husband was good, but I can't judge my dumpling trilogy because the salad or salad dressing was placed between the dumplings and overshadowed everything in terms of taste. There is room for improvement when it comes to Kaiserschmarrn. We had made a reservation and a young, friendly waiter assigned us a seat. When we wanted to sit down, an older waiter told us very rudely that we wouldn't be served here. The young waiter quickly corrected this and served us in a friendly manner. The Kaiserschmarrn was almost thrown on the table by another older, incredibly unfriendly waiter. When we politely pointed out that the menu said it would be flambéed at the table, the waiter became so aggressive that I feared a physical attack. He then disappeared around the corner and it sounded as if he was turning a piece of furniture into kindling, accompanied by Croatian curses. We paid the young waiter very quickly and left quickly. We will never enter this restaurant again and will warn all friends and acquaintances about it. Thank God our favorite lakeside restaurant, Sankt Alban, will be opening again soon; the food and service there are great, no matter how much stress the staff has. We really appreciate other people working on holidays to provide service and would never be rude. We can totally forgive a bit of a bad mood, nobody has only good days. However, we find aggressive behavior inexcusable, and not just towards the customer.

Both the hotel and the restaurant are highly recommended. The staff is friendly and accommodating, the food is delicious and the rooms are clean. The location right on the lake is simply unbeatable. We had a great time here and felt completely comfortable.

We had dinner relatively late in the evening, the waiter was very friendly, the food from soup to dessert was very tasty. We'll be back!!

Wir waren mit 8 Personen eine Woche im Seehof zu Gast! Wir wohnten in dem Zimmern mit Seeblick! Jeden Abend haben wir zusammen ein sehr leckeres Essen genossen! Allen Tagen wurden wir sehr freundlich bedient! Das Hotel liegt direkt mit schönen Biergarten zum See und Schiffsanleger! Völlig ruhige Lage ohne Autoverkehr! Alles fußläufig S-Bahn und Bus hält sogar 20 Meter vom Hotel und alle Sehenswürdigkeiten ohne Auto zu erreichen! Nochmals einen großen Dank an das ganze Team vom Seehof, wir kommen immer gerne wieder! Schade nur das einige andere Gäste schlecht geäußert haben, dieses entspricht nicht der Wahrheit!

We visited the restaurant at SEEHOF Herrsching and enjoyed the snack platter for two people. The drinks were served quickly, although we had to wait a while for the food. However, the wait was worth it as the platter was very tasty and well put together. Particularly noteworthy is the beautiful view of Lake Ammersee, which rounds off the experience. Overall a nice experience with some minor drawbacks in service. We'd love to come back!

Ottimo ristorante in riva al lago. Proposte in linea con la tradizione bavarese, con una discreta presenza di piatti di pesce del lago. Eccellenti i filetti di coregone, ottime le zuppe. Una accettabile carta dei vini, con ricarichi onesti. Prezzi assolutamente nella norma. Da raccomandare.

Beer garden: Be careful with the prices. The price for the roast pork only applies to the meat. Side dishes such as dumplings have to be purchased for just under €5. Same with currywurst if you want fries. Could it be made more transparent? It had no taste. The sauce and dumplings are definitely not homemade. The roast pork was quite tough. Warm is something else. You then have to pay a deposit for plates and glasses. You get it again when you bring it back. I've never seen anything like it anywhere. Typical one-time tourist service. For me once and never again.

We were there for our anniversary dinner, but possibly for the last time. The automatic reservation alone had a deterrent effect, along the lines of "1 person less and you pay a penalty" and "time slot from to... booked" (of course that wasn't the wording, it's a bit exaggerated). As usual, there was no free parking space left, which was due to the beer garden, which was packed in the nice weather. But luckily there are enough affordable parking options in the area - the Seehof is simply very central and everyone wants to park there. The staff was very friendly and the service was good, but unfortunately the prices get higher every year and the food gets smaller. It's now really expensive fun to eat at Seehof. The taste is consistently good, but not necessarily outstanding.

Unfortunately the service was disappointing. Today we spontaneously decided to go out to eat at Lake Ammersee in Herrsching. After our arrival, we were first led to a table by a waiter, but shortly afterwards another waiter (of Asian descent) asked us to leave the table. The impression arose that the staff was less concerned with the well-being of the guests. We were ignored for about 15 minutes and stood there at a loss. When we politely asked if there was a table available, we only got the unfriendly answer: “You can go or wait until I have time for you.” Because of this unfriendliness, we left!

Great cuisine but very poor service, stressful conditions and zero attention!!

We celebrated our wedding at the Hotel Seehof in August 2024 and are completely satisfied and happy. The head of the banquet management, Ms. Knauf, thought about the implementation of the celebration with us and supported us in the best possible way with the organization with valuable experience and tips. The service staff was very attentive and responded to the guests' requests immediately. Everything that was possible was implemented immediately! The kitchen staff conjured up a 4-course menu for us, which all guests really enjoyed 100%. Of course, the lake promenade location also speaks for itself. We are currently sitting in the Seehof beer garden, which is actually beautifully located on Lake Ammersee, but the food is so disastrous that I am now writing the very first review of my life. Everything is a finished product! the dumplings, the sauce even the obazte. Everything is absolutely disgusting and disgusting. I'm angry and horrified at the same time

We were in the dining room. The beer garden is beautifully located right on the lake. The beer tastes good too. However, the snack we ordered for two people is a joke and unworthy of Bavaria. Firstly, baguette and that too little. So you could hardly enjoy everything with bread (!). Sausage very tasty. But overall not recommended.

It has been our home for years when we are in Herrsching. Had fantastic Böfflamott and risotto yesterday. Super nice service, quick, competent and friendly. Music evenings are an experience, even if it gets later. Reception Ms. Knauf, Ms. Poszpis and Mr. Grumbach are always there for the guests and try to make even the impossible possible.

Unzumutbar für Gäste mit Behinderung – Eine enttäuschende Erfahrung Wir sind derzeit im Hotel, um den 90. Geburtstag meiner Mutter mit der Familie zu feiern. Leider war unser Aufenthalt von Anfang an von negativen Erlebnissen geprägt. Wir betraten das Hotel versehentlich durch eine angeblich falsche Tür, und anstatt uns mit dem Rollstuhl meiner Mutter zu helfen, wurden wir auf unangemessene Weise angesprochen und sogar angeschrien. Meine 90-jährige Mutter sowie meine ganze Familie waren entsetzt über diese Behandlung. Ich hätte am liebsten sofort das Hotel gewechselt, aber ich wollte meiner Mutter ihren Geburtstag nicht verderben. Dieses Hotel ist absolut nicht zu empfehlen, wenn man auf Hilfe für Menschen mit Behinderung angewiesen ist!

The quality of the food is not recommended. The “homemade remulade with pumpkin seed oil” was definitely bought and without pumpkin seed oil. The potato cucumber salad had three thick slices of cucumber in a regular store-bought potato salad. The fried chicken had little to do with a real fried chicken. The prices are clearly too high for that.

We had lunch in the beer garden, which is beautifully located on the pier under the trees right on the lake. Service was friendly and helpful, but there is still a lot of room for improvement! I was satisfied with the taste of my dish, nicely prepared and sufficient. The apple strudel and espresso were also very tasty. Price-performance ratio as a whole is partly reasonable.

We had a sensational team breakfast here in July 2021. Delicious Bavarian specialties combined with a fantastic environment and friendly service guarantee an unforgettable experience. Thank you very much for this, dear Seehof team!

The stay was relaxing. We were pampered from breakfast to dinner. The food is very good and we felt very comfortable in the beer garden in the evening at sunset.

I rate the beer garden here, the beer garden is beautifully located at the pier of the Rundfahrtschiefe under shady trees directly on the lake. The prices are okay for a beer garden with this location. I think the price-performance ratio is good. The staff is friendly and competent.

We were super happy with our stay here. Very relaxed atmosphere. The highlight for the children was the jukebox :-)

Great accommodation, nice, simple, clean rooms. Service in the hotel extremely helpful and attentive. Immediate support for all concerns. Great location right on the bank, with its own restaurant. Price-performance ratio very suitable. ☀️

We have eaten here several times. And we always enjoy coming back here. The restaurant is highly recommended for family meals. Very friendly and attentive staff. Delicious food, including vegetarian and vegan alternatives. Good value for money. But the direct location on Lake Ammersee makes this restaurant truly unique. Always a pleasure.

Wrong organization. Eating and drinking belong separately. Just for beer you have to wait for 25 people to get their fries!

Outside there is simply canteen food at ridiculous prices. Prepared in slow motion. Oh yeah, the tourist dough tastes good.

We came by in the paddle boat and stopped for a break and a snack. Service and space very good. Since a thunderstorm was approaching, we had to get back to the WOMO parking space faster than we wanted.

We always enjoy coming here. The staff is always very nice and does their best to make you feel good. The food offers the best Bavarian cuisine, and the sunsets are simply unforgettable. We enjoy life here to the fullest. Of course, you can always find the proverbial fly in the ointment, but if you don't expect a luxury hotel stay like the Bayerischer Hof, you will have a happy and relaxing holiday here.

The crusty roast pork was very tasty! I would order again immediately... The Allgäuer Kässpätzle for my wife still has a lot of room for improvement. Unfortunately, the acoustics in the guest room are not good due to the stone floor. A conversation, There were four of us and it was difficult at the table. Communication with the waiter was not easy. He spoke so quickly…..Certainly the location by the lake was great.

We spontaneously came here for dinner on Saturday afternoon and sat in the service area outside with a view of Lake Ammersee. Unfortunately, we experienced very unfriendly service and, in my opinion, the food (fried fish/potato salad) was not worth the price - both in terms of quality and quantity. The food was served very quickly. When I wanted to ask the two service employees who were about 2m next to our table for additional tartar sauce, I was clearly rejected with the words "not now". After the two had finished their conversation about 3 minutes later (it was about a shift handover), they both went to other tables before one of them apparently remembered after another 5 minutes that I wanted something and came to us. At this point I had almost finished the tasteless fish and decided not to bother the employee with my requests. I'm sure there are other restaurants in Herrsching that are more hospitable and I certainly won't waste any more money here.

I only rate the food, we were there for dinner in a larger group. Several participants had digestive problems at night. Whether this is due to the food cannot be proven - but it cannot be ruled out either.

The restaurant is not recommended. The service is extremely unfriendly and not at all helpful. I can't rate the food because I lost my appetite at the entrance and went to the very nice Seespitz restaurant, where the staff is very friendly and the food is great. The Seespitz restaurant is far preferable to the Seehof.

Lunch is highly recommended. There is a selection of vegetarian dishes on the menu. Good value for money for the food. I can't say anything about the hotel because I was only a restaurant guest.

We were extremely disappointed with our visit to the Seehof today. Compared to the last few years, the food has become much worse and the service has become inattentive! Price/performance not appropriate. Unfortunately no more excursion destination for us :(

They pretend to have the POS not working, but then for the next person it does work. Shame on you 🤮
