Seecafe Italiano in Hanau

Wir sind immer gerne und oft dort gewesen, aber es stört mich schon, dass man dort nicht mal ein Glas Wein trinken kann. Auch Spaghetti carbonara ist nicht zu bekommen, da ja Schinken drin ist. Darüber kann jetzt jeder denken wie er will, aber es ist ein italienisches Restaurant!

Das brunchen war lecker. Leider waren die Gerichte nicht gekennzeichnet, man wusste nicht was es war und ob Fleisch ( Schwein) mit drinnen ist, Süßspeisen waren mit deftigen Speisen gemischt und durch nicht Kennzeichnung ( Joghurt in einem Kochtopf) nicht zu erkennen. Ich war dort schon zum Essen, hier würde ich eine andere Bewertung geben ( 4Sterne)

Heute waren wir zu dritt zum Essen hier. Meine Freundin musste sich stark übergeben, da sie einen Käfer im Essen hatte, auf den sie gebissen hatte. Für den Kellner schiente dies keine große Überraschung zu sein, da er sich nicht richtig entschuldigt hatte - absolut unprofessionell. Die ganze Situation war für uns erstaunlich. Also hier sollte man ganz genau schauen, ob sich noch etwas im Essen bewegt! Katastrophe 👎

Essen war so lala, der Service langsam, dafür hat die Geräuschkulise und das Ambiente stark an einen Bahnhof-Saal erinnert.

Die Location ist wunderschön, besonders im Außenbereich – perfekt, um entspannt einen Kaffee zu trinken oder lecker essen zu gehen. Das Ambiente ist modern und gemütlich zugleich. Das Essen war frisch, lecker und schön angerichtet. Besonders gefallen haben mir die große Auswahl und die gute Qualität der Speisen. Auch die Getränke waren top. Der Service war freundlich, aufmerksam und hat sich gut um uns gekümmert. Man fühlt sich direkt willkommen. Insgesamt eine tolle Atmosphäre für Familien, Freunde oder auch ein entspanntes Treffen. Ich komme gerne wieder und kann das Seecafee in Hanau definitiv weiterempfehlen! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Wir waren mit 12 Personen essen. Das Essen war leider nicht gut. Die Getränke hatten wenig Kohlensäure und das schlimmste es kam niemand während dem Essen um neue Getränke abzufragen. Die Kinder hatten Durst ohne Ende und wir Erwachsenen haben uns die Pizza die Kehle runter massiert… Echt schade da es eine Feier war

Absolut solide! Essen und Trinken sind gut. Es ist jedoch oft sehr voll und entsprechend laut. Der Service vom Team ist vorbildlich.

Ich bin so dankbar und zufrieden für diesen Besuch. Die liebe Kellnerin Isabelle hat mir zu meinem Geburtstag einen wunderbaren leckeren Kuchen serviert und war so lieb und freundlich, dass ich mich sofort wohlgefühlt habe. Es war überhaupt kein Fehler, dieses Restaurant besucht zu haben. Das Essen war natürlich auch super lecker, die Portion perfekt.

Wir feiern sehr oft Firmenfeiern im Seecafe Italiano. Sehr leckeres Essen. Zu empfehlen ist das Rumpsteak. Die Portionen sind ebenfalls sehr groß. Klare Empfehlung.

Essen ist mäßig. Personal nur eingeschränkt höflich. Alkohol wird aus religiösen Gründen nicht verkauft. Und man sitzt auf d. Parkplatz eines Einkaufs-Centers.

Im Sommer kann man wunderschön im Außenbereich am See sitzen. Die hausgemachten Limonaden sind sehr zu empfehlen und auch die Pizza immer lecker

Gutes Essen, nette Location - aber etwas überteuert

Ich hatte noch nie so eine schlechte Pizza die Schmeckte nach nix nicht zu empfehlen.

Der Service war eine Katastrophe. Mein Essen wurde bereits nach fünf Minuten serviert, während meine Freundin fast eine halbe Stunde auf ihr Essen warten musste. Meine Pizza stand die ganze Zeit bereit. Ich habe darum gebeten, die Pizza neu zu machen und alles gleichzeitig zu servieren. Stattdessen bekam ich eine steinharte Pizza, die offenbar nur erneut aufgewärmt wurde. Das ist für mich nicht akzeptabel. Leider eine sehr enttäuschende Erfahrung.

Wir hatten einen Tisch für zwei für das Frühstücksbuffet reserviert, weil ich meinen Geburtstag dort feiern wollte. So hatten wir das bei der Reservierung auch gesagt. Als wir ankamen, wies man uns einen Zweiertisch zu, der direkt bei den Toiletten war. Wir haben uns dann auf die verglaste Veranda gesetzt. Die Scheiben waren sehr schmutzig und auf einigen Klebtenreste von Gaffatape. Der Service wirkte sehr unfreundlich und lustlos. Mein Mann hat dem Keller noch einmal gesagt, dass ich heute Geburtstag habe. Er ging nicht darauf ein. Das Buffet war außergewöhnlich und die Speisen sehr gut. Es gab viel Antipasti - auch warme Gerichte, Meeresfrüchtesalat, Obst und viele andere leckere Sachen. Müsli oder Cerealien waren nicht vorhanden. Auf der Toilette fehlte Seife und der Handtuchspender war defekt. Als ich das der Kellnerin sagte erwiderte sie unfreundlich "wir kümmern uns schon drum". Übrigens hatten zwei Kellnerinnen einen Teller mit "Happy Birthday" in Schokoladenschrift dekoriert. Darauf lagen Kuchen und Obst und sie waren gerade dabei, eine Kerze darauf anzuzünden. Allerdings wurde dieser Teller an einen anderen Tisch gebracht... Wer sowieso in Steinheim einkaufen möchte und vorher oder nachher ein üppiges Frühstück von guter Qualität und zu einem fairen Preis (14,50 € inklusive einer Tasse Filterkaffee oder einem Glas Wasser, weitere Getränke gehen extra) zu sich nehmen möchte, ist hier gut beraten. Wer Wert auf ein schönes Ambiente und freundliche Bedienung legt, sollte woanders hingehen.

Wir waren vor Kurzem in Seecafe in Hanau  essen und insgesamt wirklich sehr zufrieden. Das Ambiente hat uns direkt gefallen – modern, gemütlich und perfekt für einen entspannten Abend mit Familie oder Freunden. Auch das Essen konnte überzeugen. Sowohl die Burger als auch die Pizza waren geschmacklich sehr gut zubereitet und wirkten frisch. Besonders die Desserts haben den Besuch nochmal positiv abgerundet. Man merkt, dass auf Qualität geachtet wird. Der Service war ebenfalls freundlich und aufmerksam. Trotz des vollen Restaurants blieb das Personal höflich und organisiert, sodass man sich gut aufgehoben gefühlt hat. Auch die Sauberkeit und Hygiene im Restaurant sind uns positiv aufgefallen. Ein kleiner Hinweis für neue Besucher: Gerade zur Abendzeit ist das Restaurant sehr gut besucht und freie Plätze sind schwer zu bekommen. Eine Reservierung würden wir deshalb auf jeden Fall empfehlen. Insgesamt ein sehr gutes Restaurant mit leckerem Essen, schöner Atmosphäre und gutem Service. Wir würden definitiv nochmal kommen.

Seecafe, eher concretecafe. Der Brunnen am restaurant ist frei von Wasser. Das war leider der letzte Grund dort hin zu fahren. Jetzt sitzt man auf einem Betonplatz in mit des Parkplatzes. Das Essen ist leider auch mal besser gewesen. Leider haben wir milkshakes bestellt. Serviert wurde uns kalte Milch, die zwar farblich an milkshakes erinnern jedoch nach nichts schmecken. Das war unser letzter Besuch. Sehr schade

Ich bin seit Jahren Kunde, liebe die Halal Pizzen und immer ein schöner Ort zum Essen oder aber auch einen Kaffee. Die letzten male fand ich den service aber ein klein wenig zu desinteressiert ansonsten dennoch ein prima laden den ich weiterhin besuche und empfehlen kann.

Wir sind langjährige Gäste und waren immer gerne in diesem Café. Umso enttäuschender war unser letzter Besuch. Unsere Bestellung wurde falsch aufgenommen und dementsprechend auch das falsche Essen serviert. Fehler können selbstverständlich passieren, darum geht es gar nicht. Entscheidend ist der Umgang damit. Als wir freundlich darauf hingewiesen haben, reagierte die Kellnerin sofort patzig und laut. Aussagen wie „Ich bin doch nicht dumm“ gegenüber Gästen sind absolut unangebracht und haben nichts mit professionellem Service zu tun. Statt ruhig nachzufragen oder den Fehler normal zu klären, wurde direkt diskutiert und der Ton unangenehm. Besonders enttäuschend war, dass nicht einmal eine Entschuldigung von der betroffenen Kellnerin kam. Erst der Chefkoch musste sie darauf hinweisen, dass ihr Verhalten nicht in Ordnung war. Trotzdem kam weiterhin keine Einsicht oder Entschuldigung – stattdessen wurde einfach wortlos das Geschirr abgeräumt. Gerade in der Gastronomie gehören Freundlichkeit, ein respektvoller Umgang und auch mal ein höfliches Lächeln einfach dazu. Niemand erwartet Perfektion, aber ein professioneller Umgang mit Gästen sollte selbstverständlich sein. Den einen Stern gibt es tatsächlich nur für den Chefkoch, der sich wenigstens entschuldigt, sich um die Situation gekümmert hat und bereit war, uns das richtige Essen zu servieren. Schade, denn als langjährige Gäste hätten wir deutlich mehr erwartet.

Eigentlich mega schön, das Essen schmeckt und ich bin immer gerne hingegangen, jedoch habe ich in letzter Zeit immer wieder Probleme mit meinem Essen gehabt. Sei es ein Haar oder ein unbekanntes hartes etwas usw. Mir wurde daraufhin netterweise immer etwas vom Preis abgezogen, dennoch möchte ich das nicht wiederholt haben. Werde deshalb wahrscheinlich leider nicht mehr kommen.

Egal wann und egal wie, es schmeckt immer grandios. Vor allem das Frühstücksbuffet ist einmalig. So viel Auswahl gibt es sonst nirgendwo. :)

Essen gut aber Eis ist nicht mehr wie früher leider. Dieses Jahr schmeckt es mir nicht mehr

Gestern waren wir im Seecafé essen. Leider war der Salat überhaupt nicht frisch – mehrere grüne Blätter waren bereits braun und unappetitlich. Wir haben die Kellnerin direkt darauf hingewiesen. Sie hat sich zwar entschuldigt und den Teller mitgenommen, trotzdem mussten wir den Salat am Ende bezahlen. Das fanden wir enttäuschend, da man bei solchen Mängeln zumindest etwas Kulanz erwarten würde. Schade

Sehr enttäuschend. Das Café hat offiziell bis 23:00 Uhr geöffnet, wir kamen um 22:10 Uhr. Unsere Bestellung wurde zuerst aufgenommen, doch fünf Minuten später kam eine andere Kellnerin und sagte, alles sei geschlossen und wir könnten nichts mehr bekommen. Gleichzeitig wurden andere Gäste noch bedient, angeblich weil sie „15 Minuten früher“ bestellt hatten. Wenn man auf eine Cola 15 Minuten warten muss, stimmt definitiv etwas mit dem Service nicht. Sehr schlechte Organisation und enttäuschender Umgang mit Gästen. Unprofessionell.

Wir waren jetzt schon ein paar mal dort. Heute an Muttertag jedoch definitiv das letzte Mal! Es war eine Katastrophe! Habe mich so darüber geärgert. Um 10:45 Uhr ! gab es am Büfett schon keine Brötchen mehr! Als ich das Personal darauf Ansprach sagte man mir, dass die Brötchen aus wären! Auch die anderen Produkte am Büfett würden nicht mehr aufgefüllt. Die Eier, die Waffeln sowie die Salate und andere warmen Schüsseln wurden nicht mehr aufgefüllt stattdessen blieben die leeren Schüsseln einfach stehen. Wir saßen bei dem schönen Wetter draußen und bekamen nichts mehr zu trinken. Sobald Personal vorbeikam das man Ansprach hieß es entweder, bin nicht für sie zuständig oder bestellen sie bitte bei meinem Kollegen. Jedoch KEINER schickte uns den Kollegen! Wir mussten uns selbst auf die Suche nach dem Kollegen machen um zu bestellen. 2 Kaffee und eine Cola. Es hieß der Kaffee würde dauern. Der Kaffee kam irgendwann OHNE die Cola. Wir haben gleich reklamiert jedoch ohne Erfolgt. Zwei Bedienungen später immer noch ohne Erfolgt mussten wir wieder „ unsere Bedingung „ suchen um unsere Cola zu bekommen….. Mein Fazit: für viel Geld Ärger gekauft! Brauche ich nicht wieder! Das war unser letztes mal!

Super Pizzen, super Fleisch. Bisschen lange Wartezeiten.

Essen ist wie immer super Lecker und kommt trotz vollem Haus ziemlich zügig an den Tisch. Wechselndes, Junges, motiviertes Team hinter dem Tresen. Allerdings sollte man hinterder Bar immer ein Lächeln aufsetzen. Die Lautstärke unter den Mitarbeitern ist sehr hoch was manchmal unangenehm ist.

Wir waren früher öfter hier essen. Die Tische sind teilweise etwas eng gerückt. Bei kaltem Wetter könnte besser gelüftet werden, es ist sehr warm und riecht stark nach Küche. Das essen war früher viel besser, liebevoller zubereitet, hat leider nachgelassen die letzten Jahre. Die Mitarbeiter sind nett und freundlich.

Enttäuschender Konzeptwechsel – kein Alkohol-Ausschank mehr ​Ich war bisher eigentlich gerne hier, aber die Neuerung hat mich doch sehr verärgert: Es wird ab sofort überhaupt kein Alkohol mehr ausgeschenkt. Für mich gehörte ein kühles Bier oder ein Glas Wein zu einem entspannten Besuch einfach dazu. ​Dass dieses Angebot komplett gestrichen wurde, mindert die Attraktivität des Cafés für mich und viele andere Stammgäste massiv. Wenn man sich hier nicht mal mehr auf ein Feierabendbier zusammensetzen kann, fehlt einfach ein großes Stück Lebensqualität und Gemütlichkeit. Sehr schade um das eigentlich schöne Seecafé – ich werde mich nach Alternativen umsehen müssen.

Ich bin schockiert. Bier gibt es nur ohne Alkohol.

I heard about this place through my brother and was beyond impressed. The food is simply amazing, and the ambiance is very inviting, cozy, and beautiful, especially the outdoor area in summer. The service is excellent and very friendly! Highly recommended!

A lovely evening in a modern Italian pizzeria with a delicious Italian dish and a nice glass of white wine?? None at all!!! I nearly fell off my chair and thought the waiter was trying to make a fuss when I ordered a glass of white wine with my meal and he told me they no longer serve alcoholic beverages. When I asked in disbelief why, I was told it was a new concept. What kind of concept is that???? An outpost of a day clinic for people at risk of addiction? Here in Central Europe, a glass of wine or beer is part of a good meal; there are people who like to enjoy it in moderation when they go to a restaurant. It's a shame, that's not a restaurant for me anymore; I always enjoyed going there.

Unfortunately, there's no proper Italian cuisine. An Italian pizza doesn't belong with beef salami. There's no beer or wine to drink. Alcohol is apparently haram.

A good restaurant but unfortunately it's not nice to sit outside in the middle of a parking lot except on Sundays when the shopping center is closed.

Is there a reason why the See-Café no longer serves alcohol? Only non-alcoholic wine and non-alcoholic beer. When you ask, the answer is simply, "We don't have any," but the restaurant itself doesn't seem to know why either. That's why I'm writing it here.

I don't understand what the name "Italiano" is doing in this place. The menu is more like a kebab shop! A disgrace for any Italian. But thank goodness there are plenty of authentic Italian restaurants in the area. To anyone reading my review, save yourself the trip!

Unbelievably bad! I had to wait 30 minutes before I finally got my bill after what felt like a hundred inquiries – I've rarely experienced such audacity. No alcohol was available, and as if that wasn't enough, I was fobbed off with the worst ice matcha ever – disgusting and inedible! This place is an absolute disaster, unlike before; customer service is nonexistent. Save yourself the trip; SeeCafe Italiano is a disgrace, apart from the outdoor terrace!

I've been a guest at the Seecafé since it opened and am always impressed by the consistently high quality and freshness. With a new menu, modern ideas, and lovingly selected tableware, the team demonstrates their care and passion. A place with taste – in every sense. 👍🏻 Respect

We were there on Saturday evening, wanted to have a nice meal, a table was reserved and free. Everything was fine up until then, then I looked at the drinks menu 😳, oops, all non-alcoholic drinks 🤔🫣, the menu only had beef and poultry 😢, no pork 🐖, now I know why. This isn't my restaurant anymore, sorry, that's how you drive your customers away.

Waited for 10 minutes, you are completely ignored and not served

We've been regulars for years, even during Corona and after the lockdown, we were always there. The atmosphere is always warm and welcoming, and the food is good. Last week we noticed that the new menu no longer includes alcoholic drinks. We wanted to celebrate my husband's birthday with 10 people, but a glass of alcoholic beer or wine with Mediterranean food is simply part of it for us and our guests. As older Christian people, we feel discriminated against. WHAT A PITY!!! It seems that in the future it will be a lakeside café for Muslim guests only. Many thanks to Dadan and Vesta; you were always very kind to us; we will miss you.

Good atmosphere, poor service. We ordered two drinks and a cake. The first came immediately, the second 10 minutes later, and the cake 20 minutes later. It was as if they were serving in installments.

The salad wasn't fresh. The leaves were brown, the mango mushy. You should pay €20 for that. Furthermore, the food was poorly presented. The cheese was simply sliced ​​on top, not even chopped. I usually love the café. I always enjoy going there. Especially in the summer, outside on the terrace. Yesterday we had the Pasta Amore... unfortunately, it was too dry, with almost no sauce. The pine nuts were burnt and took away the flavor of the pasta. We had to ask the waiter two or three times for salt. (He didn't bring any and fetched a salt shaker himself.) The dish now costs €20 (prices were raised), so I expected more... Prices like these make you think twice about eating there. What a shame!

We wanted to have breakfast there... We arrived at 11:30 a.m. and were told that the breakfast buffet would cost €17.90 instead of €12.90. The reason given was "because of the summer holidays." When we asked if the buffet was still being restocked, as we could see upon entering that there was practically nothing left! The answer was no, because the breakfast buffet was only open for another 30 minutes. But we were supposed to pay full price! We then left... We thought they should either lower the price or have everything available by 12 p.m.!!! We also thought it was a disgrace to raise the price by €5 because of the summer holidays. It's a shame, because it's a really nice place.

A very nice café on the outskirts of Hanau. Unfortunately, the smell of gasoline from the neighboring gas station occasionally wafts up to the table, which is very unpleasant outside. Inside, it's unnoticeable, and you can easily switch if it bothers you. The food is very good, and I highly recommend both the small and large menus.

Yes, definitely. The breakfast buffet is constantly checked and restocked. It was just a shame that the various types of bread shown in the corresponding picture, as a description, weren't in the selection. For example, spelt bread. There was only white bread. It would be perfect if the various sausages were provided with food labels, for example, whether they were beef, pork, or poultry.

A truly beautiful atmosphere...it feels like you're on vacation when you sit outside. My husband and I were definitely able to unwind. And now we're called Holunder...the delicious iced teas are highly recommended :D

Went there for breakfast with colleagues yesterday. The buffet was very extensive, with many Italian specialties. Freshly prepared and delicious. A great place to have an unusual brunch, as the dishes don't match the standard German breakfast. The service was very friendly, but you always had to look around and make yourself known if you wanted to order another coffee, for example, so it loses one point.

The breakfast buffet is varied, but I would have liked more fruit. The selection of cold cuts and cheeses unfortunately didn't meet my expectations. Salmon would have been a personal highlight for me. Service was excellent. The price is OK at €12.90, including a cup of filter coffee or a glass of water. €15.00 would have been perfectly reasonable for a larger selection.

It's not like it used to be...an Italian restaurant that doesn't serve wine or alcoholic beverages isn't Italian anymore; you should say so upfront and not leave it on the menu...the food was OK, but nothing great....

We were here for the midweek breakfast buffet during our vacation (€17.90). There was a sufficiently large selection (salmon, lots of antipasti, see pictures). Unfortunately, no cereal. A water or coffee was included in the price. The atmosphere was good. Unfortunately, much of the food was very oily.

Just because it's a holiday, the breakfast buffet will be charged at the weekend rate without any notice. Our company will enjoy its monthly breakfast elsewhere.

"Absolutely abysmal! We learned at the table that the buffet price had increased from €12.90 to €17.90 during the holiday season. Even the waitress couldn't understand the price increase and blamed the manager. On top of that, we had to ask the staff several times to refill the empty buffet. What justifies such a €5 price increase when the service suffers so much?" The service manager acknowledged the criticism and apologized.

We visited the Seecafé for breakfast yesterday. Due to the holidays in Hesse, the buffet cost €17.90 instead of the usual €12.90. We find this significant price increase, at a time when families in particular want to take advantage of the offering, to be unreasonable and not very customer-friendly. Unfortunately, the quality of the food did not justify the higher price, and items were not replenished promptly. The behavior of the staff, who repeatedly served themselves at the buffet, also left an unprofessional impression. The condition of the restrooms was once again particularly disappointing: During my last ten visits, the toilets were always dirty, paper towels were regularly missing, the sinks were leaking, and the unpleasant odor and dirt contributed to an overall very poor impression. Due to the disproportionately high price and the aforementioned deficiencies, we will refrain from visiting in the future.

Unfair pricing during the holidays We discovered that the prices for brunch had been significantly increased without warning – from €12.90 to €17.90, simply because we were on holiday in Hesse! A disgrace for families! Neither online nor on-site had this been mentioned beforehand. We were only informed of the higher price at our table. The waitress was friendly, apologized, and explained the situation, but that doesn't change the fact that this is very annoying for guests. In addition, the buffet was not regularly refilled. This will be our last time here! The only positive thing to mention is the really good service.

We were there on a Saturday evening. We were told in the morning that no reservation was necessary. That evening, however, it became clear that you do indeed need a reservation. You can wait up to 30 minutes for a table, even if you want one. The entire outdoor area is packed with tables, and it's so loud that you can hardly hear the person sitting across from you. Furthermore, it's very cramped outside, so you either sit in the hedge or in the small lake. The food is average. It arrived so quickly that a lot of preparation had taken place, but that didn't help matters. The pasta was still a bit chewy. In general, the pasta portion was very small. The tomatoes and basil were chopped rather than shredded. This was definitely not a pleasant atmosphere.

Hello, We went to the breakfast buffet for the first time in a long time. The selection is much smaller than before. Many things that are part of a breakfast routine, like bacon with scrambled eggs, were also missing. Furthermore, the women's restrooms are so dirty and disgusting. When you go to breakfast at 9 a.m. on a Saturday and go to the bathroom at 9:10 a.m. and everything is dirty and uncleaned, it's disgusting and cries out for help. You don't want to know how the kitchen is cleaned. You also think that broken things like the sink in the restroom will be fixed at some point.

It used to be a good restaurant with excellent food. But recently they stopped serving alcohol. Why??? Italian food without wine...??? None of the many employees could give me a reason for this change. It lacks professionalism. On our last visit, the food arrived very late, so that the first person was almost finished. Unfortunately, the wrong food arrived, but it tasted just as good as before. It's a shame, because of the new alcohol-free concept, we're no longer customers. And we're probably not the only ones.

Very nice café with a small lake. Seating around the lake. Very friendly and attentive staff. Great breakfast buffet.

The ambiance and the buffet are excellent. The service is also mostly friendly. HOWEVER, we find it a complete disgrace that you have to pay the same price for the buffet every day during the holidays as you do on weekends or public holidays. So, from now on, they'll have 13 fewer guests.

If a bar can't offer beer or wine, even though it's listed on the menu, then the business is in pretty bad shape financially. Once, never again.

A really nice restaurant and cafe. Sometimes a bit overpriced. The staff is generally friendly, but sometimes a bit pushy. We've been going there every now and then for years.
