Seecafe Italiano in Hanau

Sehr schlechte Auswahl an Frühstückprodukten. Lasagne, Tortellini im Wärmebehälter zum Frühstück. Für die gebotene Auswahl total überteuert.

Total überteuert!!!!….. Fischplatte mit totgebratenem Fisch, 3 Muscheln und Gummi Tintenfisch in Massen. Einfach nur enttäuschend. Wir kommen nicht wieder!!! Toller Service aber der hat es nicht gerettet….

Schlechtes Essen, ein Haar und eine Fliege wurden gefunden, der Wein war anders als der, den ich bestellt hatte, ich musste ihn ändern, das Steakfleisch konnte nicht einmal gegessen werden, es war so schlecht zubereitet, das ist mein erstes Mal hier Restaurant und 100 % mein letztes

So, heute war definitiv unser letzter Besuch im Seecafe. Abgesehen von der Qualität der Speisen (teilweise aus Wärmebehältern) ist uns heute schon zum 2. Mal das gleiche passiert. Meine Frau und ich hatten 1x Bruschetta als Vorspeise sowie 1x Pasta und 1x Pizza. Nach relativ kurzer Zeit kam unsere Vorspeise und ca. 15 Minuten später die Rigatoni meiner Frau. Von meiner Pizza keine Spur. Kurz darauf wurden wieder Pizzen ausgeliefert und auch Leute die 15 Minuten nach uns das Lokal betreten hatten bekamen prompt ihre Bestellung. Nachdem meine Frau ihre Pasta gegessen hatte kam auch endlich der Ober wieder einmal vorbei. Er sagte hierzu, ihre Pizza kommt gleich und die anderen Leute haben ihre Pizza nur deshalb früher bekommen weil es eine Vorspeise ist. Wie bitte? Kurz danach, auf meine Pizza warte ich noch heute kam wieder der Ober vorbei und ich sagte zu ihm, dass ich zahlen möchte und er die Pizza behalten kann. Daraufhin meinte er nur: wir haben Pizzastau in der Küche. Kein Bedauern keine Entschuldigung. Was für eine Frechheit. Das beste ist aber der Besitzer des Ladens der wie ein stolzer Pfau seine Runden dreht und die besser bekannten Gäste liebevoll persönlich begrüßt. Andere Gäste wiederum werden nicht einmal begrüßt. Sowas arrogantes habe ich bisher selten erlebt.

We had a lovely evening with the family. The service from the front door to Abechied was very good. The food comes quickly and the atmosphere is great. In terms of taste it is a grade 1.

We called to reserve a table for 5 people and it worked so far. Then we got there on the reserved day. First our reservation wasn't found and then it was made very clear to us that we weren't allowed to use the Ramadan buffet because there were 2 Germans It wasn't said directly, but it was made clear to you. What this restaurant is doing is an outrage to the power of 10 and is discriminatory. In terms of the ambience, what you could see for a short moment was nothing unusual I can't say with certainty about hygiene, but if the floor is partially sticky, it's questionable what it will look like in the kitchen... The health department will receive information just to be on the safe side... It's written by someone who is Muslim himself!

I ordered my waffle and it didn't arrive after 30 minutes

One of the best breakfast options in the region. Antipasti, salads, fresh bread, eggs in any form etc. Unbeatable for 17.90 euros. Children only cost half.

Excellent. Food is very tasty and the service is top. Ordered a large drink but received a small drink. The waiters are courteous and brought me a large drink straight away without any pretense. I'd love to come back. Price/performance is top.

The two of us went there for dinner because we had a voucher. Very loud background noise. Waiting a little longer for the food to arrive. Food itself ok. Dessert was forgotten, but it was included on the bill. Service very friendly.

The food was really tasty. I "only" had a pasta arrabiata, but with super fresh tomatoes and ingredients, that's the only way it tastes really good. The pizza bread was also very nicely prepared and crispy and fresh (the oven pizza is also recommended) and the homemade dressing in the salad was a culinary delight. My family also had squid and surf & turf and they were also very happy. Very friendly and attentive but not intrusive service! Recommended and price performance is top. Thank you, I'd love to come back :-)

Went there for the buffet today. Food wasn't refilled. There was far too little of everything. Drinks selection was very, very poor. Not recommendable!!!

The food is good. Staff friendly and quick. The only thing that always bothers us there is that the music is too loud and the jackets (of the staff?) hanging on the bar stools are not a pretty sight.

Very good food, but the online menu needs to be revised as the wrong prices are posted there.

Good food, noisy atmosphere, inattentive service

We were invited there for brunch. Everything we ate there was really delicious and the buffet was rich and varied. What we were missing were offers for vegans, for example some vegan spread, an alternative to butter and milk. Nevertheless, the price-performance ratio is probably unbeatable, even if we can only report that from hearsay. However, we didn't feel comfortable there at all. It was so loud that we could barely hold a conversation. There was not enough space around the buffet and there was a lot of crowding. To make matters worse, the front door was broken, didn't close by itself and couldn't be closed. So we were constantly jumping up when guests went in or out and we were sitting in the cold train. We would definitely go again in the summer when you can sit outside. Maybe with coffee and cake, that looked good too.

My favorite restaurant because EVERYTHING is right here for me. The food is always top notch, so delicious, the steak melts in your mouth, the chicken breast was never dry, the vegetables were never overcooked but still had their crunch. The pizza with a cross crust, the pasta surf n turf so creamy! Last week we had to go twice within 10 days because we were so hungry for the Seecafé. Weekend evening, without reservation: be prepared to wait, I waited about 20-25 minutes. But it's worth it. The atmosphere is simply great, lively, happy, friendly, cozy! We got the wrong pizza, but only realized it was fake when we had already eaten about 2-3 pieces. But after a short discussion with the waitress we got a new one. Well solved! Story: we wanted wine for our 4 year old daughter, which of course couldn't be spicy, the waitress said order, "no, it's not spicy". Then came a super spicy pizza with small chillies (!) Well, we got new ones. Thanks! Looking forward to you warm season when you can eat outside by the water/fountain. Don't forget the breakfast buffet. THE BEST you can get in the area, including Frankfurt, for the price. About €17 a week, but richly stocked with lots of antipasti salads, shrimp, salmon, sausages, cheeses, fruit, egg dishes, shakshuka, delicious fresh bread and Italian rolls, cakes, delicious dips/spreads... simply delicious. Afterwards you will be full all day until dinner! The Italian, I think it's the owner or the chef, or both, always runs around in the evenings, takes care of the organization and greets every guest personally and chats with his guests. Totally great, personal touch. You feel very comfortable. And welcome, because he and the restaurant seem authentic and with a love for food...a heaven for foodies!! Attention families with small children: there is even a small children's corner with a digital game terminal!

I like to have breakfast there with my colleagues and friends, the breakfast buffet is very nicely prepared and extremely tasty. You don't get enough. Price performance for the offer, more than good. The only criticism I have is... I just miss the labels for the food. You can only guess what it could be or you just have to keep asking. Maybe that could be improved. Otherwise everything is tipi topi... all the waitresses are very friendly and it's so cozy there.

We had lunch here and from the extensive menu we chose spaghetti Bolognese and tortelloni with saffron sauce. Very friendly staff and delicious food. We were very satisfied all around, thank you very much.

I was here for the first time with my wife. The food was very, very tasty, from each of us. We were 6 adults and 4 children. So I can only recommend the Seecafe. Top.

Also one of our absolute favorite places. In summer you can sit by the water and in winter you can sit comfortably inside. One waitress is absolutely not our cup of tea, extremely arrogant and unfriendly, but the Seecafe is great.

I can recommend coffee, tea and cake. There are some cakes and tarts at the counter right at the entrance.

We love going to the Seecafe, especially for brunch. Were there again (Shrove Monday), brunch was delicious, but much less choice and simpler/cheaper ingredients than usual. A pity. Price 12.50 including water or filter coffee. Ambitious.

I ordered water today and it came as an open bottle and there was mold inside. I then called the waitress and she said we tap it on the column. In principle it's just drinking water with mold.

Barrier-free. I found the service staff to be rude. My companion got the food before me, so we ate almost completely separately. I find 4 euros for a small cola very expensive. I ate rum steak, which was very tasty. I find it very warm in the restaurant and the acoustics are bad. It's restless and loud, even though there weren't many guests there. But because the food was really very good, I will go there again

We were served by a very polite waiter named Ramin. The food looked and tasted flawlessly. The ambience is also very good. I only noticed a few little things that shouldn't be taken lightly.

We had made a reservation and when we arrived we had to wait a few minutes for the table to become available. During the short waiting time we received a Prosecco on the house. The food tasted very good, the staff was very friendly and the service was great. Gladly again!

Always a pleasure to be here. Whether it's brunch or a la carte, it always tastes good and the atmosphere is very nice and relaxed. You feel welcome. It's great that all age groups are represented - from babies to older people, there is something for everyone. Also a very nice location to celebrate. Very nice to sit next to the water fountain in summer. A small drawback: some portions have become slightly more expensive, but there is also less on the plate. But since everything is very delicious, this can be tolerated. All in all highly recommended. Keep it up!

Update 1/2024 The seecafe italiano is located in the middle of the Rondo shopping center. Anyone expecting a café by the lake is in the wrong place here. There is only asphalt parking space around it. The service comes to the table very quickly at normal capacity and drinks are also brought quickly. The menu is Italian with personal interpretations such as burgers and the quality of the food is good. If you like a piece of cake and a cup of coffee, you're well catered for, but when it comes to ice cream, the selection could be a little larger for an Italian coffee. The Seecafe Italiano offers something for everyone from morning to evening. Conclusion from my side: 4 stars

Nettes Ambiente, aber Service könnte besser sein. Reichlich Personal, wenig Kundschaft und trotzdem muß man 10 min. warten, bis Cappuccino bestellt werden kann. Weitere 10 min. warten, bis zum Servieren. Beim Servieren gebeten, direkt zu bezahlen.... dauerte dann nochmals 10 min.... Nicht geeignet für den kleinen Kaffee zwischendurch. Na ja, und der vermeintliche Gigolo, der "seine Chikas" (Zitat) durch sein Machogehabe beeindrucken wollte, hat enorm genervt.

Tolles Cafe jedoch sind die Gerichte äußerst Unappetitlich.

Struggling to find a place open in Steinheim ?… Well the Seecafé is a great choice. Really good food (had salmon with tons of greatly cooked veggies and a super tasty sauce). The service is fast and the cafe is great if you like real espresso. Will definitely come back.

A great place to eat with great environment. At first i thought it’s just a cafe with light food, but then it turns out a restaurant, so we had an amazing Italian dinner there. They have lot of choices of pastas, soups and other Italian food. Is it authentic? I don’t know. But is it delicious? Definitely. It is also family friendly restaurant since they provide nappy changing room for kids. Great, a must try.

Tolles Restaurant, Cafe, super Tiramisu

Schöner Café, freundliche aufmerksame Kellner. Einzigste Manko Lautstärke der Gäste führt dazu das man sich nicht so gut unterhalten kann, Mann muss sich anschreien.😅 Essen ist klasse serviert und präsentiert.

Waren auf ein schnelles Pils Mittags dort, sehr nett empfangen worden, zügig und freundlich bedient worden. Das Lokal war sehr gut besucht, hat sogar separaten Raucherraum. Essen sah sehr lecker aus, das nächste Mal werden wir was Essen. Ist ein Besuch wert

Sehr schönes und reichhaltiges Frühstücksbuffet. Gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Leckere Kaffeevariationen. Tischreservierung für das Wochenende empfehlenswert. Service freundlich. Einziger negativer Punkt: In einer Notfallsituation, ein junger Mann im Rollstuhl hatte sich verschluckt und drohte daran zu ersticken, kamen zwar alle aus der Küche und der Service um zuzusehen, aber niemand half der Dame, die den Mann begleitete. Ebenso wenig halfen die, im vollen Restaurant anwesenden, Gäste. Nur eine Frau leistete die benötigte Hilfe. Die ausgebliebene Reaktion der Mitarbeiter und der anderen Gäste hat mich schockiert. Echt traurig und beschämend.

Ich habe Kopfweh von Zigaretten, und die Tür zur der Terrasse (wo Leute rauchen) war immer offen. Es hat sehr stark innen auch gestunken. Ungenießbar

International bekannt und seeeehr beliebt. Das Angebot ist großartig, die Bedienung ist sehr aufmerksam und sehr freundlich. Beim Seecafé Italiano ist in keinem Fall ein einmaliges Erlebnis! 😉 Die Gäste kommen immerwieder! 😃👍👏

In der öffentlichen Bereich hatte man Wärme am Kopf und Kälte am Füße. Der Schall ist zu hoch so dass man die Person gegen über nicht gehört hat.

Ein italienisches Restaurant ohne italienischen Inhaber. Die Lage: umgeben vom Parkplatz eines Einkaufszentrums, mit dauerhaftem Verkehr. Durch die vielen Geschäfte in dem Zentrum ist die Parkplatzsuche echt nervig. Speisen & Getränke sind qualitativ in Ordnung, aber auch nicht mehr. Preise: halte ich für die Lage, die gelieferte Qualität und bei der fehlenden Authentizität für zu hoch.
