Our visit to Schweinske Langenhorn on Father's Day was unfortunately disappointing. Although it was foreseeable that a high volume of guests would be expected on a holiday like this, the staff seemed overwhelmed. Several tables hadn't been cleared, and when we politely asked for a table to be cleaned, we were simply instructed to sit elsewhere instead of simply complying. Especially on days like these, sufficient staffing should be planned to ensure guests have a pleasant stay. It goes without saying that a table is cleaned promptly after previous guests leave. Furthermore, the service staff should be appropriately trained – a guest shouldn't be reprimanded or turned away when they expect normal service. It's a shame that this visit turned out this way. We were actually looking forward to a relaxing holiday in the restaurant.

It was okay, but unfortunately not worthy of a five-star rating. The fried potatoes with the schnitzel were very greasy. The rolls were great.

Expected little, got a lot. Very busy. Top-notch service. Friendly and attentive. Food was generously portioned and tasty. Prices for food and drinks were perfectly reasonable. Highly recommended.

We had two schnitzels with fries. The order came very quickly and the food was nice and hot - a plus. Unfortunately, the taste of the food was not convincing: the fries were a mixture of hard ones that had been fried too briefly and were obviously warmed up. The schnitzel was very dry, as was the breading - unfortunately pretty tasteless overall. The rolls that came with it tasted best. What saved the visit was the very friendly and courteous staff. Nevertheless, we probably won't come back again.

The pork schnitzel was ordered with asparagus and boiled potatoes. Unfortunately the schnitzel was dry and not particularly juicy. The potatoes were cooked through and therefore very soft. The asparagus was overcooked and therefore no longer fresh. I also found a hair in the food, which is of course unpleasant. The dish was also not seasoned, so the taste was a bit too bland.

It's fine to fill your stomach, but it's the wrong restaurant to have a nice evening with delicious food. Long wait to order, employees seem like they don't want to work there. Eating is just fine.

Despite only a cup of coffee for €1.50, absolutely friendly and fast service. Keep it up and thank you again.

A particularly beautiful atmosphere thanks to the winter sun that shone in. Plus twice as delicious Kaiserschmarrn and a huge, fresh Caesar salad served by the friendly service staff. We'll be happy to come back. 12/25/2021 --- This is how you can have a nice breakfast while staying in the hospital. It was delicious again with great service. JANUARY 2023 In my opinion, my wish to fry the fried potatoes in the pan for an extra long time was not implemented. Payment with credit card was also not possible - see photo-3/2025

Disappointing visit – not recommended! Unfortunately, our evening at Schweinske in the Landstrasse gas station was an absolute disappointment. The chef obviously didn't know his trade - the fries were completely over-fried, dripping with fat and already brittle. Really inedible! The rest of the meal was anything but convincing. In addition, the serving staff was rude and unfriendly, which made the stay even more unpleasant. The only bright spot: the currywurst tasted okay, as did my companion's cheeseburger. But that's not enough to ignore the rest. Conclusion: There are significantly better Schweinske branches. We definitely won't come here again and can only advise against it!

The stairs to the toilets are still so sticky that you're almost stuck there. The food was cold and the service wasn't really good either.

The pork itself is the same as it used to be but the food is much, much better than it used to be and the staff is really great. So here at the intersection of Tangstedter Landstrasse and Holitzberg. 4 out of 5 🌟

We always eat there every now and then. The offers in between are great if you have something to complain about, it can be done without any fuss. We always accepted the tips that were given to us as customers. And implemented even if it was possible.

I love going there again and again or having something delivered to me. The staff is unbeatable always in a great mood and always a smile and where they always have a lot to do. Having breakfast there is always a good idea... sufficient and the home-baked rolls are a dream. But the warm meals were also very tasty. The ambience is getting old but still very comfortable.

Really good food for little money!

Unfortunately, the quality and taste has become significantly worse, especially at lunch. Prices also higher and quantity and taste less. Fish preparation is an eternal problem. As always, fried and dry. The service staff didn't care. Probably has no idea about quality either.

The food was very good. A super nice and friendly service worked there. It was really nice how she responded to the people and entertained the older people. Really GREAT. Directly opposite the Heidberg Hospital. Good selection of food and drinks.

The food was very tasty, especially the vegan schnitzel is great. Decent portion and one of the best coleslaw I know. Unfortunately the cheesy dip is too chemical. The Elbsässer Schnitzel is also a decent portion.

I was there last Sunday and was a little early for a steak around 10 a.m., no problem, I had a book with me and was able to pass the time. The lumberjack steak was good and worth the wait. Thank you for the nice service, I'll be happy to come back.

Very tasty food and great service

Been there twice and very disappointing twice. My wife and I both ordered a grill plate and her piece of meat was so small that I asked the waitress if that was a joke? The staff is quite unfriendly and doesn't react very professionally! Another time I picked up food and something was packed incorrectly.

The food was very poorly prepared and made me vomit. I had a dry and hard breaded turkey schnitzel. The fried potatoes were dripping greasy and at the end of the evening, I had to throw up. Today after 2 years I realized that the quality has not improved Has improved. The fries were cold and hard, the currywurst was also cold The currywurst was definitely thrown into the deep fryer several times I also got a small one and ordered a large and fresh one. You should stop taking money out of your customers' pockets Tonight's chef needs to be fired.

The staff is super friendly, the food has really improved, although we liked the old breakfast menu better. But requests are also taken into account. Price performance is right.

I had breakfast there several times because I have my driving school next door. I'm used to friendly staff in Norderstedt, but what happened in the branch doesn't work at all. Because my ashes fell on the exposed concrete slabs outside, which were very dirty, I was verbally reprimanded by the female service staff. The tone alone was inappropriate and so disrespectful that I wanted to slap her in the face. Treating customers with respect looks completely different. I will never set foot at Schweinske again, no matter which branch, unless an apology is forthcoming.

Like everywhere else, the prices have risen here, but the portions are quite large and very tasty. The service is actually always friendly and attentive. Today we were there again and the young man behind the counter was probably a bit indisposed this evening. Listless, a bit incompetent, not exactly friendly, didn't fit the Pig image at all. When we wanted to take our bag with us, we were told we didn't have any bread anymore... Wow, I've never seen anything like that in Schweinske Tangstedter Landstr. experienced.

We were lucky that we got a table after starting school because all the tables were reserved and the one we got was only reserved for 1 p.m. so we had a whole 3 hours to have breakfast, the staff was very friendly.

The Hamburger Schnitzel for €16.90 came from the deep fryer, sorry that's not possible. Schweinske used to be known for a good price/performance ratio. Unfortunately, that no longer works. The service was nice, hence the second star.

Service bad... the table isn't even cleared after the meal. The dressing on the Caesar salad was incredibly bad.

I have breakfast at Schweinske Langenhorn at regular intervals and think the expanded breakfast menu is great. My Hamburger of the Year is Astrid, the multi-tasking master in service. Although she has a lot to do, she is always very attentive and friendly and asks at intervals about any other wishes the guests might have. Her open and empathetic nature makes you feel comfortable as a guest. I would like to finally thank you for that!

Due to a hospital stay, I tried some dishes. Despite ordering by phone beforehand and adhering to the waiting time mentioned, I had to wait a long time for the food on site. The employees don't always respond to customers coming in and don't seem trained enough for the job. The grill plate was good, but some of the meat was fried like a fiddle. The burger tasted good, but had too much sauce. Overall, you can eat there, but you can also look for another location.

A pig is like everyone else, including this one. Coffee tastes good. What more could you want when you're waiting for someone.

The food was terrible and totally overpriced, which is a shame! It used to be very nice tens of years ago. Unfortunately that has ended.

I ate there once and the turkey steak with fries was absolutely fine. Since I sat outside, I can't comment on the interior design. In total, I ordered takeaway there 3 times and at least 1 of them was okay. I had the Caesar salad twice, once the salad was absolutely watery, but the other time the salad was actually very good. Once there was a cheeseburger with fries. The burger was absolutely inedible for me. The chef probably thought more was more and simply drowned the burger in ketchup and threw half an iceberg lettuce on it. At least the meat was very good.

One of my favorite places. Always have a regular meeting there. Food top. Staff friendly and committed.

The Schweinske Langenhorn has always been good for decades. The food is good, plentiful and tasty. The service is always friendly and good in service.

Somehow the Schweinske Langenhorn is still up to date. Menus technically. We went to eat a farmer's breakfast at the weekend, which really wasn't tasty. Burnt dry potatoes and bland. The hard-working service was very attentive and is always friendly.

There is the usual delicious pork-like food here. I particularly liked the service.

We were there for breakfast and were pleasantly surprised. For just under 15 euros per person we got a great selection. Warm rolls, cold cuts, cheese, meat salad, jam, etc. Special requests were responded to quickly and the service was always friendly. This makes going to a restaurant fun. We'll definitely be back.

I've been to a pork bar for years and what can I say. I just don't like the food at these companies. But that's purely a matter of taste, but the service was very nice and we didn't have to wait long for our food. Everything was very clean and the portions were quite large.

Half a liter of beer costs around five euros in a restaurant, but of course it's cheaper if I get something from the gas station nearby and then drink it on the way. The food here is simple but good, I actually usually like it.

The reason why i decided to write the reviw is because of the service. I usually don't have cash, and almost always pay with Card, and the weiter know me as I go many times just take a coffee and go. Yesterday not only she didn't say a helo, but she welcomed with so much kindness the clinet that came behind me. Even though i didnt mind a lot, but when she reacted also very bad because I wanted to pay with card and not cash! At first, I thought you have to pay much interest to the bank, but after I did some research: I wanted to let that waiter know that a transaksion-kost with an Ec Karte is max 1.5%. Which means that 3.4Eur cappuccino, for which I always leave 4 Eur to respect you waitress has a "Gebühr" of 5cent. I wish that is because of ignorance and not discrimination as I am a foreigner that you created such a ridiculous situation with me yesterday in front of so many people. But this is another topic that I don't want to get into...

Had a very tasty meal there today and the service was super nice and quick. We enjoyed onion rings, chrispy chicken burgers, fries and schnitzel. The salad with the schnitzel had a not so tasty sauce.

Great food, grilled meat was perfect. The only thing I was missing was a steak sauce. Not expensive at all. Prices are really not high. It's a good place to eat as a family.

It was my first time there, a wonderful atmosphere, very friendly and attentive staff. We ceremoniously ended this year's kale tour there yesterday. You may be able to make compromises when it comes to the packaging for the mustard. But these are rather minor details that consume the focus.

Der Laden ist gemütlich und praktisch. Man kann essen und sich mit Leuten treffen. Aber wer wirklich gut essen möchte, ist hier nur bedingt richtig. Das Essen ist nicht sehr liebevoll angerichtet. Zumindest mein Teller war von unten dreckig. Aber das Personal war sehr freundlich.

Ich habe für 6 Personen ein Tisch zum Frühstück reserviert. Dies erfolgte problemlos über Quandoo. Bis wir bedient wurden vergingen mindestens 20 Minuten. Obwohl wir schon alles ausgewählt haben, was wir bestellen wollen, sagte die Bedienung, dass erstmal nur die Getränkebestellung erfolgt. Weitere 10 Minuten vergingen bis wir diese erhalten haben. Als wir dann unser Essen bestellt haben bekamen wir nach 10 Minuten die Brötchen inkl. Besteck. Weitere Minuten vergingen bis wir dann den Rest erhalten haben. Insgesamt durften wir eine Stunde warten bis wir mit dem Essen beginnen konnten. Bisher habe ich im Schweiske sowas noch nie erlebt. Normalerweise bin ich dort gern zum frühstücken gegangen. Aber nach diesem Erlebnis wird das zumindest im Schweinske Langenhorn nicht mehr erfolgen. Wirklich sehr schade.

WC-Räume bräuchten mal eine Überarbeitung. Die Musik war leider zu laut und immer wieder der selbe Interpret. Ansonsten top.

Sehr, sehr lange sind wir nicht mehr hier gewesen, es wurde wirklich Zeit. Wie immer schaue ich als erstes ob es ein Bauernfrühstück gibt, und tatsächlich ich fand es. Was soll ich sagen toller Geschmack, tolle Portion, ich war einfach nur begeistert das wird nicht mein letztes Mal gewesen sein dass ich hier war. Außerdem muss hier mal erwähnt werden, wir hatten eine so super nette tolle Bedienung, obwohl sie völlig alleine war zum Mittagszeit hatte sie alles super im Griff und wirkte überhaupt nicht gestresst, das habe ich am Ende auch erwähnt sie war sehr glücklich darüber
