Really nice Biergarten, good service, nice selection of beverages. Super atmosphere with fire pits and typical long tables. Not such a big selection on food, but typical German sausages (even a vegan option!). A good way to spend an afternoon away from the city rush. It fills up quickly so get here early :) PS only rating the Biergarten, not the restaurant!

It could be a good experience but somehow there is nothing to eat on Sunday at 6 pm already. You either change the operation ours or better solve the food service thing. The place itself is really cozy and the live music is commendable.

Landhaus Walter has upgraded and created a clean beer garden. A beach club would have been nice too. The control switches are quick. The food was large, unfortunately my chicken wasn't cooked through and the bowl was a bit small, difficult to eat the larger salad. Otherwise, live music, roof, if you like, good drinks. There are countless events there.

It's nice to finally have a beer garden again that opens reliably and doesn't just stay closed like it did with its predecessor. The beer garden looks inviting and chilled. The background music is fine, but could be changed from time to time. Sweet potato fries very tasty. The cake and burgers also looked very appetizing. Dogs welcome. Audience 0-100 years well mixed.

However, we were very “surprised” in advance; we had sent an inquiry via email and contact form. Two weeks before our appointment for the first time. To date we have not received any feedback on this. As a guest you can't really plan like that. Seems either haphazard or arrogant. When we were there on January 3rd, 2025, we spoke to the "boss" and she just shrugged her shoulders. She had no explanation or apology.

2024.12.01: been here for the Xmas market. One of my personal favs in Hamburg. Probably because of the really cozy, out of the city vibe that it has. One can warm around fire, drink Glühwein of course, eat, and feel like in nature thanks to the environment and the nice Hüttes.

Very nice atmosphere, lovely decoration and suitable for any weather. The offer is good, but the prices are steep. Some would call it outrageous. If the quality is right, however, all the drinks were extremely sweet. Unfortunately there is another way to make it tasty and my acceptance of these prices decreases. Unfortunately the mulled wine was lukewarm, an extra shot was charged but not filled. When told, the young gentleman in the tent became stroppy and unfriendly. Mistakes can happen, it's not a problem, but there's a different way to be customer-oriented and complaining in an unfriendly way after being tipped off is really the worst idea if you work in service and unfortunately doesn't support the pre-Christmas winter market atmosphere. Conclusion: you can do it or you can make delicious mulled wine yourself and then enjoy it while taking a walk in the city park.

Great Christmas market, really beautifully laid out and great atmosphere. My personal favorite Christmas market! Lots of seating (indoor+outdoor), delicious food and not crowded. In terms of price it is like all other markets: A little more expensive than a few years ago. The only thing that's really missing is lard biscuits instead of overpriced mini waffles...that's why there are only 4 stars. 🌟

Christmas party in a rented cabin. Nice and hard-working staff. The idea of ​​being able to get food at the stalls with a wristband is nice but unreal. Waiting in line for 30 minutes is not suitable for the Christmas party. If you wanted to try everything, you would just have to wait in line all night. The staff realized this and therefore brought portions of food several times. That was great - but unfortunately it didn't apply to everything - e.g. no crepes. However, the food is also underwhelming. Kale with too much pepper, goulash is tasty - but tough. Pea soup is really weak -> any volunteer fire department can do it better. Overall, only satisfactory for the location.

The Christmas market was always our highlight, but the prices really go into a range where the value cannot be justified. I ordered a coconut waffle and for €5.5 I got a section of waffle on a stick that was literally smaller than a gherkin. In addition, a little coconut powder was sprinkled on top for an extra 50ct. Really really disappointing. Even when asked, there was no understanding.

Probably the naughtiest thing I've experienced in a long time. The prices are out of this world. There is absolutely nothing to justify it. We waited in line for an hour for a waffle, only to see it being cut into thirds in front of our eyes. For €5.50 (!!!!) - when I addressed it they just turned their eyes. People. That's just plain cheeky. Just like a small fries for €6. Lines are endless - minimum waiting time of over an hour. The location is cute, but everything else ensures that we definitely won't come back.

I was only visiting the small Christmas village, so I can't rate the food and service. There is plenty of seating, several huts, food and drink. You can warm yourself sufficiently at fire pits. You could pay by card and rarely if ever have to wait in line for long.

It's a nice place to host parties and small games. Even though it's not far away from the highway, it does not have many parking places. But it's walkable distance from the Borgerg U bahn station.

We were there for the magic of Advent. It's really wonderfully designed and the ambience immediately put us in the Christmas spirit, really nice. We tried both the food and the drinks. The bratwurst was our highlight of the dish alongside the crepes; the kale and mushrooms didn't really suit the taste. The first round of cold drinks tasted okay, but the price was too high - we were a bit shocked. The delicious punch brought it out again. Despite the small criticisms, we would like to come back.

As a DJ, I was able to provide musical accompaniment to Katharina & Daniel's wedding at Landhaus Walter. And I can really recommend the location with a clear conscience, from the beautiful ambience to the service, everything was simply great. the staff did a really great job. Was very nice. I went to an event at the country house and I was still amazed. The ambience with the ornaments on the wooden ceiling and the 1920s-style bar are worth the visit alone. Add to that the great food from the buffet and the great, attentive service - it couldn't be better. Anyone who has the chance to experience this should take this chance.

It’s the perfect place to go sit in the Beer Garden and soak up the afternoon sun. Awesome beer and food. I highly recommend it. The used to have life music and a night club over weekends. But that seems to have stopped unfortunately.

It's nice that this beautiful beer garden has found a new tenant. You can sit nicely under the shady trees in Hamburg's city park and relax. Selection of several beers, soft drinks and good Pinot Gris. The meals/snacks are tailored to the needs of the visitors. Most people buy French fries or burgers. Always freshly made. Unfortunately, pretzels are not recommended. Old, dry and chewy instead of crispy. The coarse salt on the outside is also missing.

Since it's self-service there, I can't give any stars for service. But it was super nice... and the best fries I've had in a long time... crisp on the outside, perfect on the inside, and not over-salted.

This restaurant 'Deer' is fake. Only the beer garden is open. According to the website, it is open from Wednesday to Sunday (3 p.m. to 9 p.m.). But no one can be reached by phone. We wanted to invite some friends there for dinner on the occasion of a birthday. We were there in person to discuss the reservation. There we found out that the restaurant was closed and might open in September. This is absolutely unprofessional and customer-unfriendly - this is no way to deal with potential guests. A notice on the website that the restaurant is closed would have been enough.

We were there on August 13th. in the Landhaus Walter beer garden. It was the hottest day this summer. You can sit very nicely under the shady trees. Otherwise I can only say there were completely overpriced drinks, Alster water was nice and cold, Astra was not cold and had no carbonation. We had ordered a currywurst and a fries and were advised that it would take about 30 minutes. No problem, unfortunately the pagers were partially defective. That's why I stood in line at the food counter. Unfortunately, that was very chaotic. The order slips were lying around without a system and the employees didn't care at all that you had to wait almost an hour for a fast food meal. The sausage was rather tasteless, the very thin curry sauce was terrible. The fries were ok. Honestly folks, in Franconia for these prices you get a very tasty, properly cooked dish with high quality ingredients and brought to the table. There is overpriced self-service fast food here. Oh yes, the music: Lionel Richie, Tina Turner...too old and inappropriate for a beer garden in midsummer, terrible.

Beautiful, shady beer garden in the city park that will look more modern after a small makeover in 2022. Unfortunately, the prices are reasonable: large beer Astra or Holsten (0.5) €6.50, crate of beer €119, bratwurst €6, fries €5, currywurst €7.50. Today we had to wait 50 minutes for 1x currywurst and 1x fries... an absolute no-go! The food was only lukewarm and tasted okay. No service at the tables, just serving at the counter (like in Sierich's). A pleasant place for a nice drink on hot summer days, as well as a great location for live music or sports broadcasts such as the European Football Championship/World Cup. However, the price-performance ratio is rather poor.

I was in your beer garden yesterday and had €37.00 on the bill for my order at the counter, where an additional €1.85 was charged. I paid the total amount of €38.85 via Girocard. A nice location in itself, really. Especially in summer, the garden offers a great ambience in the middle of the city park. The service, on the other hand, is catastrophic. If you order a light Astra in a mug, you pay a €5 deposit and have to stand in line again to return it and, if it's busy, wait 30 minutes for your REFUND. I understand the concept 0 and am extremely disappointed in the store. Never again!

Went there for the European Championship Public Viewing Switzerland vs. England. Seats (beach chairs) were too cramped and unkempt. At the beginning the sound was set too loud. Absolute Katastrophe beim Public viewing. Überdimensionale Menschenmasse die Eingelassen wurde und nicht mit Getränke versorgt werden konnte. 1 bis 1 /2 Wartezeit für nur 1 Getränke. Wucherpreise einfach nur Abzocke. Weiter 500 bis 600 Menschen wurden nicht mehr rein gelassen und auch nicht informiert das die Veranstaltung geschlossen wurde. Hier sieht man ganz klar das Geld scheffeln vor Menschlichkeit geht. Die Eigentümer sollten sich schämen.

Went to the Turkey - Austria game there today and attended the public viewing inside and it was great and there was a good atmosphere. The security staff at the ENTRANCE was bottom drawer! Super unfriendly and arrogant - felt far too powerful in her situation and felt like she was taking advantage of her job. Me and my buddies left a lot of money there for drinks, food, etc., which was all very good. However, at the entrance after asking a question, I was insulted and treated rudely, which made me no longer visit this store!! Landhaus Walter will get you new staff at the entrance (the answer to the question was understanding inside) who won't take any great customers away from you. Before the entrance I noticed that many others felt the same way!! Really bottom drawer! Get new people so you don't scare away people who visit very often!! We won't be coming back for a while!

We became aware of the event: “Seafood & BBQ Festival” via the Internet. When we got there we first had to pay an entrance fee of €5 per person. I find that a bottomless impudence in a place where you only go to eat and leave money behind anyway. Maybe they justify the entry with the live music from some amateur bands that nobody knows anyway. We gave it a chance and paid the €5 each. A total of 9 food trucks/stands arrived at the “festival”. Our decision was based on an African restaurant where there was a mix plate for €15. This mix plate consisted of some rice, a sauce, some vegetables and a chicken skewer. However, the skewer was mostly bone. The next scam. I felt completely betrayed. It was also just the atmosphere that was missing. Everything was a bit run down. That was the last time for me that I visited the Landhaus Walter in any way. If you are wondering why this also applies to your beer garden or restaurant. Then you should think about what you are organizing or having organized on your property. I definitely see you as partly responsible for our miserable rip-off experience.
