Don't have chicken Döner and no cocktail sauce

Doner kebab has always been really good, I've probably been there over 10 times. Even all my friends say the same thing, that this kebab shop is one of the top 5 in Hamburg. The meat is really perfect, people who say otherwise only know the standard kebab meat from every conventional snack bar.

Very good kebab! I really like the store and is definitely worth a visit. The skewer looks very good and tastes even better! Really one of the best kebabs in Hamburg. For me it's the best I've had in Hamburg.

I've been there several times for lunch. Each time I chose a daily meal (there are several to choose from) with rice and bread. Always tasted delicious! The fact that there is no alcohol doesn't bother me. I always drink good black tea. I also don't mind that the employees are a little rude. The guests are often very demanding... But the owner should sort out the broken plates and the toilet really needs a renovation.

Visited this restaurant with 8 people during Ramadan. Of course there is a lot going on at this time, but I find it a disgrace that the waitress makes unnecessary demands at the beginning: You should only be able to order certain dishes and only one person should pay for them all at the end. In the end, the Adana skewers (which were ordered half an hour before Iftar arrived half raw.) In addition, in the end the son-in-law from the next table paid the bill for the desserts and the waiter stated this as “It’s on the house”, even though he asked several times. Sorry, but you don't decorate yourself with other people's feathers!!! Never again!

The meat is amazing! Delicious bread and the sauces not too dominant. Simply delicious. Very courteous staff. What can I tell you? I'd love to come back!

I drove an extra 250 km for this kebab and would do it again every time. The best kebab in my life! Recommendation: only eat meat with tomatoes and without sauce. As a woman, I ate two kebabs straight away. Almost cried.

Their kebabs were very spicy and salty, and I had 2 or 3 irritations in my mouth while eating them. We did not like them very much. Their service was bad, their appetizers were good, and their lahmacun was good.

Great kebab with good quality meat

We ate there with 4 people on March 8th, 2025 and probably had one of the worst kebabs far and wide. So dry, so tasteless. Simply not worth the money at all. Not recommended. The service was very poor and unemotional. We saw a lot of videos on Tiktok etc. that all said the opposite, so we made the long journey ourselves and we were totally disappointed. There are definitely better ones. Don't believe everything that is shown on Insta and Co.

Everything was great! Very generous portions and the food was simply top, taste wise an 11/10. Super nice staff, especially Alattin… just super nice, polite and accommodating. You'll be happy to eat with a waiter like this again!!! MEGA!

Top kebab, one of the best in Hamburg.

A well-priced kebab with excellent meat and an exquisite yogurt sauce. In addition, the bread was well shaped and therefore free of breakages. Unfortunately, music was missing but still definitely worth a visit.

Food delicious - service catastrophe! The taste of the store was impressive. Unfortunately, the joy of this was greatly dampened - the service was unfriendly, listless and we had the feeling that we were more of a burden than welcome guests. The same thing happened to the other guests. Accordingly, our visit here was unfortunately a disappointing experience, despite the good food.

Finally real kebab meat and not always this cheap rotisserie attack. Totally delicious kebab box!

We were with you for the first time yesterday and I can guarantee it was the best kebab I've ever eaten. And I like to eat Yaprak kebab. We also ordered a Beyti in the middle. Meat was completely grilled, exactly how it should be and the herbs were all perfect and the combination with everything together was just to die for. Ayran was very very tasty and the quantity was perfect. The side dishes like the salad and the dips were also a 10/10. Service was a 10/10. Food came within 10/15 minutes even though it was very busy. Definitely my top 1 from now on.

Delicious kebab, we always come from further away, we have an hour's drive away, but we like to come because of the kebab.

Incredibly delicious kebab. One of the best for years. I would keep this review quite short. Unusual for my standards. The meat is from the Yaprak skewer, perfectly marinated and seasoned and the skewer has lamb tail fat on the top (I assume cautiously). Incredibly soft, but with a good, al dente texture. And a really decent portion too. Anytime. The standard vegetables. The bread a bit weak. If there were home-baked bread, this restaurant wouldn't be able to save itself from additional customers. My first port of call on my next trip to Hamburg.

Ever had a Dürüm and it really wasn't good. The meat is tough and poor quality. Flatbread was dry. The whole Dürüm simply had no taste. Service not really good. Someone is always standing at the table. It's tight and crowded. The quicker you get away, the better. That's how it comes across. Ambience still cozy. Doner plate is also really expensive. Unfortunately a failure.

The shop was very full but it was quick to get a seat and the service was first class. You got a card straight away and then ordered. The food took less than 10 minutes. We were very positively surprised!!! The food tasted very good. Adana Kebab tavuk sis and Gouda pide were my favorites because they were very fresh. I would be happy to come back and definitely recommend it. Oh yes, they also have kebab, which is not available everywhere 😄

I don't understand why people like it 1. no place for food after a long day 2. the service was strange 3. my kebab wasn't felt properly 4. after the kebab I had a bowel movement in the evening and again in the morning and at lunchtime too. Not recommended, sorry…

I don't eat here in the evening, so I can only report on my experience during the day. The staff (service) is always friendly. Children are always happy to have an extra wish fulfilled. The prices are quite high by neighborhood standards, but it's not a run-of-the-mill kebab shop where all the drunks go. The kebab meat is real beef, has taste and is good for something. Many other dishes are recommended.

The food is ice cold, the bread is stale, someone's mouth is opened, the dry beans are spilled, we are embarrassed about our money.

Super tasty and totally friendly

By all the gods in the world, I don't know when was the last time I ate something so delicious. The Iskender was amazing, even with a salad, really juicy, spicy and a great portion! The staff is a well-rehearsed team and everything is super fresh. For 18.50 you can't complain! I'll be back because the small portions on the menu also sounded very, very good!

There is no chicken at 2:30 a.m. on New Year's Day, the meat tastes like horse. The tastiest thing was the Cola - but it also tasted a bit like a horse. Here's another photo of the faucet on the toilet - hopefully the hygiene standards in the kitchen are better. The service employees did their best. But the food really wasn't good.

Oh well Today I went to eat for the first time and ate for the last time. Maybe the waitress doesn't know about a shower? Why do you smell so strange? The food was mostly ok. But I ate on broken plates and was very alert. The toilets weren't that good. I won't eat there anymore. The employees were not nice to each other. They were painting around and complaining. It was pretty expensive

War vor Ort eiskalt war der Döner nicht von dieser Erde ! Fleisch war kein Fleisch mehr Knorpel und fett wie Fleisch selbst! Absolut nicht zu empfehlen, der Weg dorthin ist auch schon dem Döner entsprechend!

I visited the restaurant on the recommendation of the Mopo rankings. The first impression was positive. The inside of the restaurant is modern and clean. Cozy seating options with a large selection. Nice fireplace ambience on the TV. The order was taken quickly. The food took a while to arrive. The extra requests that my companion had for the order ended up on my plate. That's when we discovered the first shortcoming. Doner meat was cut very thick but tasted okay. Average fatty fibers in meat. The side salad looked fresh and tasty. The Lahmacun is a delicacy. Unfortunately, the bread in the bread basket was cold and as if it were from yesterday. Not very fresh. The neighboring table was offered tea on the house. Unfortunately not for us! A nice restaurant that is worth a visit but does not compete with other kebab shops in Hamburg. A top listing of Mopo is not comprehensible.

They have nice doner kebab. The place is cramped, but you usually don't have to wait in line. The employees are attentive, and if you are lucky, you may come across polite ones. The menu is very extensive. You can satisfy your Turkish restaurant craving in Hamburg.

Not even other sauces like every other cheap kebab shop and there is so little meat on the kebab that you think you have ordered a vegan kebab. The staff were annoyed and they showed it.

Waiting forever, friends from the house were constantly favored and you were ignored. Meat is the only good thing about the kebab, but it's still a bit tasteless.

Disappointing experience with the grill plate We were recently at the restaurant and decided on a grilled plate. Unfortunately, the meat on the plate wasn't cooked properly, which spoiled our appetite. More than half of the food remained on our plates, but no one from the staff asked if everything was okay or if we were satisfied. It's a real shame because we actually had high expectations. A little attention or an offer to solve the problem could have improved the situation. Unfortunately, we cannot recommend the visit.

I know Köz-Antep on Steindamm and thought I would get similar quality here. Unfortunately that is not the case. The meat was completely cooked through and didn't really taste that good anymore. After dinner we all felt sick. Unfortunately that was my last visit here…

I stopped in to get a late night kebab. I opted for the kebab plate. Overall the portions were generous and it was tasty. Definitely an authentic Turk place. The price was high but I guess proportionately it was ok.

Two of us visited this place yesterday. One of us ordered Adana and the other ordered Yaprak meat. I think he was the owner of the place himself and I asked him beforehand, master, "Are you making this Adana from male lamb?" "Yes," he said, "90% of the time we get male lambs." "Sometimes, although it is rare, he can come in the medley," he added. Then I asked the young man standing at the Döner, "Is your Döner made from veal?" And he said, "Brother, our Doner is 100% Beef." Finally the food arrived. Adana smelled like sheep, it was disgusting. Not only is it made from male lamb, it is not even made from female lamb, it uses mutton. As for the doner meat. They mashed up the beautiful veal with sheep tail fat. The taste of beef is gone, the taste of sheep comes to the fore. It seems like they were trying to add flavor to the meat. While doing this, they made it not with the normal amount of male lamb tail fat, but with a large amount of sheep tail fat. What we experienced yesterday was a complete disaster. A place you should never visit. The owner of the place seems obsessed with cheap mutton. His taste, no matter how worn out, seems normal now, from eating sheep all the time. I think the waiter was of Syrian nationality, he was polite and provided good service. This is the only positive side. Now some might ask, "How did you know that he was the owner of the place?" It's very simple, because he had a body and speech style that was too much like saying "I am the owner of this place". There are people like that. There's nothing can be done. Do yourself a favor and never go to this place.

Für Hamburger Verhältnisse ein rundum guter Döner. Ich bin einfach aus der Heimat in der Region Frankfurt/Mannheim bessere Dönerläden gewöhnt.

The restaurant was amazing in every way! The food was very delicious and everything was perfect. The service was excellent, and the staff were very kind and attentive. Great experience and I will definitely be back!

THE WORST KEBAB (dürüm & pommdönner) WE’VE EVER TRIED IN LIFE. And we ate a lot of kebabs, trust me. The kebab was dry, as people below my review mentioned as well. Seems like they only have two sauces, and only one of them isn’t hot&spicy. Meat (beef) was dry, there was no chicken meat option. if to speak about the service and atmosphere there, it’s awful and not organized. there are five people standing and “working”, and one “boss” that does nothing, but screams around. we were watching this show for 10 minutes or something. can you believe that it takes 5 people and ~10 minutes to make 2 kebabs?? they weren’t really full, just bad management. It was so bad, such a 0/10 experience… It will probably haunt me for the next couple of months. never again. banned ❌❌❌

Our visit to this store was a complete disaster. The staff was unfriendly and didn't seem welcoming at all. Things then got worse and worse.. we were given dirty cutlery - an absolute no-go and in hindsight we should have left at that point.. The chicken skewer I had ordered already smelled spoiled and was absolutely inedible. The entire meal was so carelessly prepared, something I have rarely experienced. Above all, this poor hygiene is unacceptable. Overall, the experience was so bad that I strongly advise against visiting this restaurant. Don't go there!

Super delicious Turkish food provider. Outside of Turkey, I've never had such good Icelandic kebab. Unfortunately no forums made... Portions are large and the price is very reasonable. With 4 adults we had the Icelandic kebab plate and a kebab plate and a mixed salad (1 vegan...) That worked out easily.

In the last days of my 25-day visit to Hamburg, I finally had a decent kebab. Adana wrap is better than most of the good wraps in Turkey, meat doner is amazing. Only the lavash of the wrap was thick and not good. In most places, they serve lavash like a strap. If you eat it, ask for bread.

Tem tudo pra ser mais um restaurante turco em Hamburgo, como há aos montes e até na mesma rua. O atendimento, entretanto, é um diferencial, começando por falarem bem alemão, sinal de que vivem no país há um certo tempo. Os pratos são generosos e vêm com uma salada grande servida numa tigela. Se pedir com jeitinho, eles fazem a salada só com o que o cliente prefere. O cordeiro, marinado 24 horas, parece que foi massageado num hammam, de tão tenro que estava, o mesmo valendo para a vitela. Para quem estiver a turismo e quiser explorar mais desse bairro tão vibrante, vale a pela dar uma passada no Koz Antep!

This was supposed to be the best kebab in the city, but unfortunately it definitely wasn't for me. Unfortunately, service wasn't good either; for example, the waiter didn't ask for a seat, but simply pushed past you. We had to wait quite a long time before our order was taken. When we thought it was finally starting, various other dishes were finished before we started with our order. I was hoping that the wait would at least be worth it, unfortunately that wasn't the case. Unfortunately, the meat tasted very bland except for the lamb, the tzatziki was also tasteless and for €8.50 I think that's a shame... I may have had a bad day or something else, but I won't recommend it or come back.

I've eaten at Köz-Antep several times now and have to say that the price/performance ratio is really great. You get decent portions for your money in the store and the quality is top. The meat is very tender and tasty and the bread and dips that you get with every order also taste great.
