We ate there and everything was great. The service was so nice that she brought us a dessert for free. When I'm back in Hamburg I'll go there again. The schnitzels are simply great!!!

There were four of us and it was tasty and enough. We all had schnitzel, and at Schweinske they were pan-fried and not deep-fried. Really delicious. The side dishes were also very good. Price performance ratio excellent. Service very friendly and attentive. Only the guest room itself could be spruced up a bit. But otherwise delicious schnitzel at Schweinske again next time.

The food took too long to come to the table.

Hmmm… what can I “say” Schweinske has really slacked off. Otherwise there were always several rolls in advance. Today we were 3 people and there were 3 small rolls with a small dip. OK. The XXL schnitzel was large, but ☝🏻 only very, very, very thin... There was also just a handful of fries. The Spezi was non-carbonated. It was definitely not a fun meal today!! Schweinske used to be better. And there is no longer the delicious mushroom/spinach/onion sauce. In general, there are a lot of things on the menu that once existed but no longer exist. The offer has become much less. But what I found much worse was the communication with the waiter. We sat down at the table and I said to my friend “Give me the card”… Meanwhile the waiter walked past me and said “Please”. He wanted to mean that I should say please to my girlfriend. So “give me the card PLEASE”! Ummmm 🤔 Since when do waiters intervene in guests' conversations without being asked? 🤨 Very uncomfortable and inappropriate. The food was OK. People used to say that when family/friends came to HH to visit, let's go to Schweinske's... You don't have to anymore today. In my opinion, Schweinske has lost its charm. Unfortunately.

Nice service, nice ambience and cheap food

That used to be my favorite piggy because it had a small room at the back. I sat there with my father as a little boy. There was even a pinball machine there back then. Just like I did with my son a few years ago. But today, on my birthday, I was told that the room is not open to guests. The tone was not friendly and I then left the store and unfortunately I will probably never come back!

The clementines were really beautifully prepared. The service has always been phenomenal

Big praise to the chef, it was really good for the cheap price. The service was probably new in this area, the Alster water only came at the same time as bread and food, even though there was very little going on.

I can't say anything about the service and ambience (yet), but my orders via Lieferando were perfect every time: schnitzel and fried potatoes or fries were always delivered on time and hot, everything was of very good quality and the salads were always crisp and fresh! It's very tasty and we order there regularly. Thanks!

Just been there. Where should I start? No grill plate, no gaucho steak. Then have to switch to Currywurst Admiral. Ordered special, got coke. It was kindly replaced at least. Fries with the currywurst were not properly fried or crispy. My companion ordered Alsatian schnitzel with fries, but got the Camembert schnitzel with fried potatoes. They didn't order RedBull (even though the menu showed the RedBull fridge behind the counter). Alternatively, they ordered small beer, but it didn't come. 3 employees, the older gentleman waits and does the cooking at the same time. Ambience = extremely loud and lots of children. Sorry, but that was nothing today.

Are you looking for a restaurant in Barmbek that exudes real “Barmbek charm”? Holes in the bench and old, worn furniture don't bother you and the slight smell of snacks is okay with you? Then you've definitely come to the right place. If you can live with the fact that two of the classics you want to order are no longer available at 7:15 p.m. because there are no rolls left, then this is your restaurant. But there is a lot more to choose from and the friendly service will remind you when you order that you could also order side dishes with your meal. Personally, I often visit Schweinske restaurants in various places in Hamburg, but what greeted me there is really very disappointing and I know other Schweinske restaurants with a different standard. But there is still room for improvement and there is room for improvement. Maybe I'll take a look again when it becomes apparent that there was something like a renovation...

Had dinner here with my wife recently. All service employees were extremely friendly and served the guests very quickly. There was a small problem with the burger bread (it was a little dry) so I was immediately offered a new meal and the Schweinske took over the drinks. Super nice, thank you again! The food is hot, fresh and delicious, you could tell from the salad. Turkey schnitzel was great! We'd love to come back.

We ate at the Schweinske Barmbecker Markt today and I was extremely disappointed with the service. The waitress, an older gentleman with gray hair, was incredibly rude. He made several stupid comments to us and was overall completely disrespectful. This kind of behavior is unacceptable in the catering industry. I definitely won't be back and I can't recommend this restaurant to anyone.

Opened unpunctually. Dirty chairs and tables. Leftover food from the last layer is still on the floor. Ordered 4 dishes for lunch and mixed up the side dishes. The inside of the restaurant looks like the equipment room of a sports hall. Never again.

The view from the beer "garden" is... let's call it "incomparable". Nevertheless, I like being here.

Food and drink was delicious. Schnitzel neither too dry nor too wet. The sauces and salad were separate in a bowl, so the fries weren't drowned in sauce or salad dressing, great. The service was friendly and nice in typical Hamburg style.

Unfortunately the service has deteriorated quite a bit.

It was my first time in this restaurant. Food was okay. However, the waiter is probably a bit out of place. One of the drinks was forgotten, my girlfriend (who has been there several times) said that he always forgets a drink. Then a still water was ordered for the kids and medium was brought. When we asked whether it was still water and whether we wanted still water, all we got was a shrug of the shoulders. For 3 portions, a mini bag of ketchup and mayonnaise were brought to the table, so we constantly had to order more. I don't have to go there again.

Pigs are not recommended here. Watery cole slaw instead of coleslaw, tartar sauce mixed into the cole slaw. In response to criticism, excuses were given: yes, they had a new baker. Where does the man come from? Every Hamburg resident knows that it is not a baker who bakes the pork buns, but rather the cleaning man who usually turns on the oven in the morning. Today I was back at the main train station and got a Schweini of the usual quality. But there were clean toilets.

Schweinske. Damn good. As always.

I don't like going to the schweinske anymore, it's gone down quite a bit. You drink a cola and the glasses smell like beer, even if it's the oldest shop, you should bring a bit of freshness into it.

Unfortunately disappointing. Everything was dripping with fat and the food was bland. Only the service was nice and accommodating.

Visited a Schweinske again for a long time. As usual, delicious food for a reasonable price. Price-performance ratio is therefore top! You shouldn't expect star cuisine! Service very friendly. It all took a while, even though there were hardly any guests there. But everything is within reason. It was a bit drafty and cool today.

I usually go to Hammer Landstrasse. It was just closer. Food as usual, service and service unfortunately not worth mentioning. First drink and also the food came quickly. Second drink and bill only after 30 minutes without drinks and only upon request directly at the counter. Well, if I had understood I wouldn't have been the only guest at the time.

The waiter couldn't have been nicer or more attentive. The atmosphere was relaxed. Everything was clean. I really liked the beer "Udo Hell" :) The food (pulled pork burger) was tasty, but for me it was missing a bit more flavor (the only reason why I didn't give it 5 stars). The potatoes were fried perfectly. 100% recommended. Thank you!

I would like to stop by a cozy restaurant with tradition right near me. The good selection of dishes at a fair price relaxes me and makes me look forward to the charming and professional service and the really delicious food even before I pick it up. From experience I can say that staying there, whether just to pick something up or to eat it there, is always a pleasant and pleasant time.

Ne wirklich nette Lokation. Das letzte Mal zum Frühstück war der Kellner allein und der Koch ist nicht gekommen. War nicht das gewohnte und erwartete Niveau. Beim letzten Besuch war wieder der gleiche Kellner da. Laden leer, Wartezeiten immens. Zumindest war er freundlich.

An sich super gemütlich, preiswert und bisher immer nettes Personal. Allerdings, und dafür muss ich leider 2 Sterne abziehen. Die eigenen Klamotten, und zwar von oben bis unten, stinken nach jedem Besuch so dermaßen nach alten Frittenfett, dass wir dieses Schweinske nicht mehr besuchen, wenn wir danach noch weiterziehen wollen. Echt Schade, aber die Sachen gingen jedesmal sofort in die Waschmaschine bevor der ganze Flur danach riecht. Echt schade, weil gleich um die Ecke. Ansonsten habe ich nichts an dem Laden auszusetzen.

Wer Bock auf Schnitzel hat ist hier richtig. Es gibt eine ordentliche Portion man ist satt und es ist preislich alles im Rahmen.

War hier mit Begleitung im Urlaub abends essen. Schönes Restaurant mit altem Charme. Hat uns beiden gut gefallen. Essen schmeckte auch gut und den Preis empfanden wir als fair. Falls wir nochmal hierher kommen, werden wir hier auf jeden Fall wieder essen.

Das Essen war sehr warm und lecker und die Lieferung war schnell. Also im allgemeinen war ich zufrieden. Von den Verpackungen her konnte man auch sehen, dass der Laden mehr auf die Nachhaltigkeit achtet. Aber der Preis war leider nicht angemessen. Für das Essen(Schnitzel Barbecue +Bratkartoffeln und Spiegelei), die Liefergebühren und Servicegebühren musste man 24,98€ zahlen. Mittlerweile gibt es eigentlich genug Alternativen, die sich von Preis her noch mehr lohnen. Also man könnte theoretisch mit dem Betrag bei anderen Geschäften für zwei Mahlzeiten versorgt sein. Im Vergleich zu den anderen Schweinske-Filialen ist die Menge auch etwas weniger. Wenn man wirklich heißen Hunger auf Schnitzel hätte, könnte man hier 1-2 mal pro Jahr bestellen. Ansonsten würde ich lieber jedes mal eine andere vernünftigere Entscheidung treffen.

Leckeres Essen zum verhältnismäßig günstigen Preis. Service war freundlich und flott. Es war für einen Samstagabend erstaunlich wenig Betrieb. Schade für das Restaurant, hätte eigentlich mehr Zulauf verdient!

Preis-Leistung-Verhältnis ist absolut in Ordnung. Für Lunch in Ordnung, aber seit 30 Jahren das gleiche Ambiente, oder eben bischen weniger

Super Service der Laden selbst bräuchte aber mal die eine oder andere Renovierung.

Das Pizzaschnitzel war sehr groß und es gab reichlich Beilagen. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Dass man hier am Wochenende bis immerhin 13 Uhr mit Freunden frühstücken kann, ist super! Die Karte hat eine große Bandbreite von klein, süß und günstig bis herzhaft üppig.
