A restaurant to be recommended in every way! The food is excellent, reasonable prices and large portions! The staff was very friendly and the location is also very nice, a great farm restaurant where you can't go wrong..GO THERE!

Very good restaurant with regional cuisine. A popular excursion restaurant is set up in a courtyard just outside the city gates. In summer there is a very large, wonderful terrace that offers a view over the Ammertal. Beautiful play opportunities for children in a spacious playground, a farm shop and a vending machine round off the offering. A special tip is the cider and the cider punch - true to the motto: Save the orchards! Overall, always worth a trip. Depending on your walking speed, it takes 20 - 45 minutes from the city center.

The food is delicious, the location is great, but some of the staff are unfortunately very unfriendly and listless, which has unfortunately always been the case when we have been here.

I was there several times for festivities, but unfortunately it didn't convince me every time. Very meat-heavy and, for my taste, very medium raw meat. You don't necessarily have to have it again. Service could be better.

I was here for the first time for a Christmas party. I had only heard predominantly positive feedback about this restaurant in advance. Unfortunately, I discovered otherwise. I had the Viennese style schnitzel for OVER €20. This means that the restaurant is in the upper price segment for many dishes. I got a schnitzel with soft breading (if that can still be called breading), a small handful of fries, ketchup and mayo from the bag. The highlight of this dish was probably the parsley… Friends had exactly the same problem (some of the schnitzel was not cooked through, when spoken to, the schnitzel was taken back, fried again and brought back to the guest). In terms of performance, the Black Holes Hof is more like a canteen, but the prices should be adjusted accordingly, at least for the schnitzel in a canteen. After speaking to other guests, the lenses were dry and the overall average satisfaction was rather negative. Only the onion roast for just under €30 performed well. The staff seemed a bit overwhelmed with the Christmas party (approx. 30 people). Reorders for drinks were forgotten or not taken. I definitely won't come here again. For less money and more performance, a simple sports center or other location in Tübingen is sufficient. Only the ambience in the beautiful rustic farm leaves an impression, but it doesn't save the overall performance.

Farm with excursion restaurant, just outside of Tübingen, particularly interesting for children because of the many animals (horses, cows, geese, rabbits, many peacocks) in the farm, as well as a beautiful playground with a long slide, large sandpit and climbing frame. (And also a large parking lot, be careful there). Large outdoor area with a beautiful view down into the Ammertal. Very good classic Swabian cuisine.

Were there on a Sunday. Unfortunately, only half of the beer garden was open and it still took forever until a waitress came to take the order. Then there was also incorrect information and only 2 out of 4 cakes were brought. The rest was only available upon request. Unfortunately, you also had to let yourself be pampered...sorry, but that could really be better

As always, very good food in a great atmosphere and very friendly staff. Only the two existing types of beer should be replaced with better ones. Schwaben Bräu and Sanwald do not match the quality of the food. There is better beer in Tübingen.

Without a doubt a great place with a wonderful beer garden. Prompt service and the food comes quickly. But apart from the cold snacks, you really can't recommend the food. Unfortunately, the hot dishes are almost always not good or the quality has decreased more and more in recent years and we have been coming there for 20 years. This may be because it is always very full and the kitchen is therefore a mass operation. Schnitzel with fries and salad is still possible. But the prices are really too high for the quality of the food.

Yesterday we had lunch with 10 people. Very friendly staff. Large selection of drinks. The sweet cider was very good. Also the most spritzer...and my slaughter platter...simply delicious. Also the onion roast...whether medium or well done...fried to perfection. Everyone was completely satisfied. And the price...absolutely ok.

Very nice there. Nice reservation. Very busy, therefore noisy and poorly ventilated. The venison goulash was overcooked, too much cloves, didn't taste good. Unfortunately, Champions out of the can wasn't that great either. Gastronomically, yes. Otherwise a nice place to sit and drink cider. Maybe the other dishes are better, but coming back... it won't be a shame. It's a shame

Beautiful beer garden, food was great. Unfortunately very grumpy male service. No smile, no thank you, no please... The guest (there were several of us) was treated like an anonymous number, which is a shame... we actually enjoy coming here.

Great beer garden, great service, would be happy again

A group of 8 people were completely satisfied. Service staff friendly and honest. Well, it makes no sense to ask a vegetarian about the texture, taste and color of a beef roulade. But the roulade was very good and easy to handle even for those with biting difficulties. The ribbon noodles with the mushroom ragout looked homemade. No negative comment from anyone net. My classic SchniPoSa corresponded to classic standards. Breading sticks firmly, not puffy, but the meat is free of fat and tendons. The salad that was served exuded a fresh aroma that immediately made you want to eat it. The potato salad that came with it probably came from a professional manufacturer, although that's completely fine for me. What is absolutely worth highlighting is the fact that it is absolutely no problem, in fact it is welcome, to drive guests with walking difficulties to the entrance. Then of course you should immediately park the vehicle in one of the regular parking spaces, which is a given. Service, as already mentioned, attentive and quick and ready to talk. I think the price structure is okay.

As always, very nice and the food was great again and the staff were very friendly and accommodating. I can only recommend it.

Beautiful beer garden with old trees and plenty of shade. Good Swabian cuisine. And a beautiful view.

Very nice rustic restaurant with a great view. We've been eating there for years. Now there is finally a vegan dish on the menu. However, it is very expensive considering that it is a purely plant-based dish. The falafel balls were still very tasty and I would be happy to see more choice of vegan dishes. The service is always good, but on this day it was a little busier and it took longer. We always enjoy coming here. A suggestion for improvement would be to include dessert on the menu.

The food is good. Service isn't bad, but it could be much more attentive, which would certainly be noticeable in the number of drinks sold and in tips ;-) . Location is of course 1a, nice inside too. The recommendation is to definitely stop by.

A middle-class restaurant on an attached farm. Particularly noteworthy is the beautiful beer garden with a wonderful view of the valley. The restaurant is a few kilometers from Tübingen. The food is decent. The service was good but a bit stressful. The place is totally overcrowded. The location of the restaurant is very nice. Recommended for hikers. The beer garden is busy but you can always find a spot at a table in the shade of the tall deciduous trees. Overall, the restaurant is recommended but you shouldn't have too high expectations. The beer garden ambience is truly unique and always worth a trip.

Wow, I never liked this place 15 years ago, but thought I'd invite my friends for a meal here and was immediately insulted by one of the staff. As I and a friend arrived first I thought we'd miss heard. After sitting in the, almost empty beer garden for 10 to 15 minutes, in full of the staff, the owner finally asked us what we wanted to drink. We have our order and the owner left to stay cleaning tables, over 20 minutes later a girl came with our drinks. My friends stayed turning up and after a while we were 8. It was a nice day so we were outside, despite a quick shower that came and went. The owner came with a chalk sign he's written saying the beer garden was closed. We had wanted to stay for food but after one of my guests who is in a wheelchair and couldn't order the first time, asked me to order him a drink inside we were insulted again and told that the beer garden was closed and that their wasn't enough place in the empty room inside. Since I've heard pretty much the same experience from several other friends and acquaintances. I will not be going back and the same is true for my friends who were there. We were all a bit shocked how bad the experience was. We of course didn't have the meal, that we had met at this place for, there. After almost 45 years of visiting this place from time to time it never gets better, and I remember being there a couple of times shaking my head at how badly the owner then and now treats his paying guests. Very much a Faulty Towers "auf schwäbisch".

Super friendly service on a Sunday evening for our group. The garden restaurant is very busy, but the service is still friendly and accommodating. The potato salad was out, but the rest of the offering was perfectly fine. Change requests were implemented 100%.

I still find it difficult to pay €30 for a roast, but if it tastes as great as it does in this beautiful country inn, then I'm very happy to do it. Mega delicious food in a great atmosphere and friendly service. This trip is worth it again at any time.

If you sit in the beer garden you have a wonderful view. The peacocks that roam freely are also amazing. The food and service very good. You have to try the cider punch and the farmer's bread. Absolutely delicious. Finally, we took home-baked farmer's bread with us. I'd love to come back

I had dinner here today with my family and my parents. I don't even know what to write about the meal. It was so incredibly delicious that I have no words 😂 We had 2x turkey steak with tagliatelle and shallot sauce and 2x venison ragout, the children had fries. It was a taste explosion at its finest. The food came very quickly, the children were given pens and a children's menu to color on. The apple juice was also super delicious. Service is quick, friendly and funny. I'm still raving about my turkey steak. The sauce is incredibly delicious. Please keep it up and never change anything 🫶🏻

I'm updating my review to one star as I've been here again. The vegetarian and vegan options I found really really bad! Other than salads, they essentially only had 1 (!) vegetarian option and 1 (!) vegan one for main courses, both of which I didn't enjoy, especially not for the price. It seemed to me like they just really don't care if you're somebody who tries to reduce meat. In today's age, I find this ethically problematic. This is making it hard for people who try to do the right thing! (Or can't eat meat or don't want to, for whatever personal/cultural/religious reason.) This time, to me, this was a seriously depressing place. The servers also were unfriendly to us and hushed us along as we didn't go through the process fast enough (we weren't ready to order after ~5 minutes). I did like the peacock, I give the peacock 5 stars. Original review from my last visit: This is a nice and friendly spot, I just wish it had more & better vegetarian and vegan options.

**4/5 stars** The Schwärzlocher Hof is a great destination for families. The beautiful playground on site is a particular highlight and offers lots of fun for children. Unfortunately, the food was rather average, but the overall stay was pleasant. A special eye-catcher was the peacock, which moved freely in the courtyard and was a beautiful attraction. A visit is definitely worth it for a relaxing family day.

A very nice place to stay, wonderful in the summer heat under the big trees. I also like the peacocks, although they are noisy, noble animals. This place is highly recommended. Now you can also marvel at water buffaloes on the way there😃🧐

Nice beer garden with a great view. Nice "farm atmosphere" with peacocks and old trees. Unfortunately, service here was rather bad-tempered and hasty, cider spritzer was delicious. Except for the alcoholic drinks, it's very expensive, there's no extra charge for cutlery and tap water. Close to Tübingen, easy to reach on foot and by bike. Unfortunately there is still a lot of car traffic because there are parking spaces. Crowded on weekends when the weather is good.

A miserable service, roasted onions as rotten meat, not a word of apology and the atmosphere of a canteen...maybe nice outside in the summer with a glass of cider!!! Everything else, no thanks

Very good economy with a very nice beer garden.

Super nice view and nice staff. There were three of us and we shared a large salad. We would have had to pay extra for two more forks, this rule should be urgently reconsidered. Everything else was nice.

The view is good the foods not special

The place is beautifully situated. However, when the weather is nice it is completely overcrowded and the service cannot keep up. The food is completely overpriced and tastes very mediocre. More like better canteen food than food for around €20 per plate.

The location is incredibly beautiful! Magnificent view of Tübingen and the surrounding area! The beer garden is sensational, but you can also sit comfortably inside! I've been coming back for years and enjoy the best onion roast ever👍

Very nice beer garden and delicious food, the only problem is getting a table there even on weekday evenings. It would be nice if there were more small tables so that singles also had a chance. ;-) Unfortunately closed Monday and Tuesday. 2024: unfortunately the beer garden has been extremely reduced in size, probably due to a lack of staff, so you probably no longer have a chance to enjoy the great ambience and the good food, especially if you come alone.😭😭😭

Nice destination with a meat-heavy food selection. The ambience is great with a shady beer garden and a view over the fields in the Ammertal. But you shouldn't come here just for the menu. There are a few more unusual dishes, but otherwise very boring even for a beer garden, even if it tastes good. When the weather is nice, you have to be prepared for enormous waiting times.

A disappointing experience at the Schwärzlocher Hof My visit to the Schwärzlocher Hof was a complete disappointment. As soon as I entered, I noticed how unkempt and dingy the atmosphere seemed. Dust on the window sills and a musty smell in the air were just the beginning. The wait staff was not only slow, but also rude and didn't seem to enjoy their work at all. It took forever for our order to be taken and even longer for the food to arrive. The meal itself was a disaster: the lettuce was wilted and the dressing tasted like it had been out there for days. My main course, the Swabian onion roast, was tough and cold. The price-performance ratio was also not at all good; The portions were small and the prices were outrageously high for the quality offered. To make matters worse, the toilets were an imposition - dirty and poorly equipped. It's a mystery to me how this place can even get positive reviews. I strongly advise against visiting Schwärzlocher Hof if you are looking for a pleasant dining experience in Tübingen. One star is still too many for this disappointing experience.

Just one vegan dish and it's very expensive, that's really not possible in 2024! The menu therefore looks like it comes from the 90s, everything is full of additives and the food is typical pub food with a lot of meat, not homemade and not healthy. And fries, your vegan best friend, are only available as a side dish to a main course, not just like that. 😑 What I found worst, however, was that the toilets were hard to find; there was only a tiny sign somewhere indicating that the toilets were on the left over the courtyard. This is not good, barrier-free directions! I only enjoyed the spritzer mediocre. The naturally cloudy apple juice was good. The service was rather rough and listless, there doesn't seem to be the best atmosphere in the team or the personnel management is not good and simply passes the pressure on to the employees. There are still two stars for the breathtaking view on the terrace, the quick service and the great playground for children.

We celebrated a birthday in the chapel. Super nice atmosphere. Food was very tasty and came very promptly. Nice service. Very child friendly. It certainly doesn't hurt to make a reservation when the weather is nice, as it is a great excursion destination (e.g. about 30 minutes to the Wurmlinger Chapel).

Der Aufstieg lohnt sich. Entlang von Streuobstwiesen gelangt man auf den Hof. In der Kapelle denkt man, die Zeit ist stehen geblieben. Das Essen ist gut gemacht, Hausmannskost ohne Spielereien.

Wir haben den Geburtstag unserer Tochter mit einem guten Essen abgerundet. Wie waren alle sehr zufrieden. Wir können den Schwärzlocher Hof weiter empfehlen.

Girişi biraz yokuş. Rolle ile yürümek için biraz zor. Içerisinin atmosferi çok iyi. Eski şapeli kullanıyorlar. Kalabalık olmasına rağmen servis çok hızlıydı. Yemekleri lezzetli ve güzeldi.

Wenn ein Radler schon über 4 Euro liegt sollte das Glas nicht 1 cm unter der Füllmarke gefüllt sein. Da sollte man mehr darauf achten ansonsten könnte man System dahinter vermuten.

Das Essen war sehr lecker die Portionen waren ausreichend groß. Geschmacklich waren die Linsen für mich zu sauer. Ansonsten gute schwäbische Küche zu guten Preisen.

Lage, Essen, Auswahl und Preis-Leistungsverhältnis meines Erachtens nach echt super. Im Sommer im Biergarten besonders gut.

Sehr schöner Biergarten über dem Ammertal, toller Blick. Bodenständiges, leckeres Biergartenessen, teilweise aus eigener Produktion inklusive Hofladen, Spielplatz, Hof -Tiere

Es ist einfach schön auch noch in dieser Jahreszeit im freien sitzen zu können und die Natur zu genießen. Essen war gut, und Preislich angemessen.
