Schwarze Heidi in Berlin

I'm Swiss and ate here with my partner and two friends. We wanted to celebrate my darling's birthday. The food was really very tasty. Some of the young people in service tried hard and had varying degrees of success. We ordered two portions of carrot cake with a cream cheese topping. It was delivered with SPRAY CREAM and without comment. When asked, it was then revealed that you knew this and were sorry. Aha. We insisted on only paying for one portion. It's a shame, a more charming solution would have been appropriate. Unfortunately, there were also several large groups present who could only talk loudly and shout. We had to sort this situation out ourselves. The young people weren't really suitable as hosts and since I had a very friendly phone call beforehand about the reservation, we were a bit disillusioned. Maybe they just had a bad evening and we'll probably come back.

Very good cuisine, always worth it

There were five of us here and we ate and drank very well. Super nice, attentive service! We had the Zürcher Geschnetzeltes with egg spaetzle and the cheese fondue with potatoes. Cheese spaetzle and a side salad (very tasty dressing). Everything was excellent. Highly recommended. We'll be back.

Rustic, quaint shop with great food!

You can eat authentic Swiss hotpot in Germany, and Switzerland produces beer. In addition to cheese fondue, because I can’t read German, I went to their website to look at pictures and translations, and finally chose some. Special snacks, you will be treated to Swiss chocolate after paying the bill, haha Come and give it a try 😜

Very friendly staff & tasty food, worth a visit

Food was great....I loved the swiss take on tapas, the spicy heidi, a refreshing drink with appenzeller schnapps and of course, the fondue.. Service was very attentive and friendly.

Very hearty food, so don't snack beforehand 😉but really tasty. Had a Rösti (almost the size of a cake plate) with brie and cranberries, dessert Engadiner nut cake, wow! Dessert Toublerone Mousse, wow! It was very tasty, very nice service. 👍

We tried the fondue with two types of cheese, mushrooms, cornichons, and a small salad. The taste was simply amazing—highly recommended! It’s finger-licking good!

We were there yesterday at 6 p.m. and received a very friendly welcome. The Swiss beer tasted good and the fondues came quickly. We also ordered champions and potatoes, but that wasn't necessary as there was plenty of bread. The cherry schnapps came separately to the fondue and you were supposed to dip the bread in it and then into the fondue! Unfortunately there was an old menu on the website and the price for the fondue had changed by +10€!!

Amazing food and lovely staff !

Over €30 per person for a fondue pot that doesn't really taste intense Swiss cheese. Bread as a side dish, some of which was old. Extra side dishes like mushrooms (that still had soil on them) or potatoes that weren't cooked properly for an extra €5 per variety. I can only advise anyone not to go there. The store is simply a disgrace. Never again!

We went there to have dinner , it was raining and we wanted to be outside in the terrace under the marquisse, they had space but the tables that they had empty were outside the marquisse, I asked the girl waiter If we could move the table under the marquisse, so we and the food wouldn’t get wet, and she told me NO, if we wanted to sit on the table , we must seat under the rain and not under the marquisse , which was completely empty and unused , she told me to eat under the rain , it made nonsense , ( why do you have a Marquesse without tables and have tables outside the Marquesse ?) I think she just wanted us to leave and had non intention to serve us any food , I don’t understand why, we had to leave, very disappointed! And very rude waiter :/

Everything was fantastic. Staff really made a big effort to make me feel welcome and serving the food in a very nice way which they succeed-ed with 100%. As a cheese lover it is so good to have a well-prepared cheese fondue with the ‘right’ attributes – it was just perfect. I also had the ‘Toblerone’ desert, and it was also perfect. The restaurant is also very cozy with the whole setting hey have. So, if you like cheese fondue, or want to test it, the Schwarze Heidi in Berlin is a very good choice to have an excellent experience.

Best place in Berlin for a Swiss evening! Food and service: 11/10 ❤️

First of all, this is the second negative review I've ever written, but it's really a mystery to me how this restaurant has done so well so far. Maybe it was because of the European Football Championship and the larger number of guests. Despite all this, the service was really not good and unfriendly. It had a snack bar with a high price. There were 8 of us and we sat outside right next to parked cars, no criticism was taken into account and we were all allowed to eat one after the other because nothing came out at the same time. The Röstiburger was full of soup from sec.1, the cheese was cold and unfortunately the little patti didn't even have Mc.D. Level. Offering a TK Patti like this for €20 is really bottomless. The mango salt with it was actually pretty good, but it couldn't save the overall impression. Therefore really only 1st star in each category.

Food was ok, but a bit steep for the price. Service not attentive and not solution-oriented. Wouldn't come here again.

We spent a lovely evening in this very lovingly furnished restaurant. Very attentive and friendly staff. Delicious food. Great.

The service is outstanding and couldn't be better. The team was courteous and friendly. We had expected more from the food. The starters were excellent. Unfortunately, the meat in the Zurich Geschnetzelte was too well done and therefore a little dry and the cheese spaetzle was very heavy. A little less spaetzle and a fresh component (e.g. salad) might have been good. The Rösti and Graubünden meat are highly recommended and the wine was also very good. The atmosphere is very nice and I would like to highlight the great service again.

We wanted fondu, and we got exactly that - coupled with a.m.a.z.i.n.g service by the awesome waiter Taco. Lovely guy, have us an unforgettable experience. Also the chocolate mousse was one of the most intelligent desserts we've ever had. Highly recommend!

Fun place with nice food and a very friendly service staff. Roesti was a bit too greasy, Fondue was one of the best we ate !

There were five of us and we ordered all 3 fondue pots that were available on the menu. The fondues were delicious and the side dishes were very fresh and tasty. However, we found the system quite confusing; The price of the pots depends on the number of people, but not everyone pays for every pot (?). The prices were also quite high; we paid around 60 euros per pot per pair. Additionally, the waitress constantly commented on how much and how quickly our group ate. It should be in your interest that we order a lot, shouldn't it? Ultimately, you go to a restaurant to eat. And five adults eat a lot. Very unpleasant to be judged by the waitress for it. P.S.: I would suggest that meat and other vegetable options may also be offered as a side dish in the future.

Always a pleasure to eat. In addition to the fondue, the Röstiburger and the Käsespätzle are the highlights. The staff is very attentive and friendly. We always come back.

Unfortunately the restaurant was heavily understaffed while we were there. Only 2 waiters and one cook on a Friday night just doesn’t work. The waiters were very nice but we still ended up waiting 2 hours for our food which was just average and definitely overpriced for what is. So unfortunately, we cannot recommend the restaurant for bigger groups…

I’m a neighbor and I decided after passing in front a lot of time finally bring my family that they were visiting me. Honestly I felt ashamed in front of them. Specially the service was not careful. I don’t want to pain on anyone but they close the kitchen without informing and we didn’t had the chance of having desserts. It’s a pitty because I was really looking forward to eat there after a long time :(

The cheese fondue itself is excellent, but if meaningless, limp bread is served with it, then unfortunately half of the fondue's ingredients are messed up... at some point my companion and I tried to pluck the pieces of bread so small that all we could taste was the delicious cheese . Only I can judge for myself whether it bothers you that the mediocre wine is in a cooler at the table that looks like a transparent duty-free shopping bag with a Swiss cross: yes, it is annoying. Just like the Swiss flag in the Toblerone mousse. I already knew that it was a Swiss restaurant, but you probably want to be on the safe side. I don't understand why the dessert is called Toblerone mousse, everything that makes Toblerone such as the crunchy pieces is of course missing. It has a chocolate mousse. The name probably gives another indication of its Swiss provenance. All in all, we were rather disappointed with a bill of 115 euros for a bottle of semi-good wine, a pot of cheese fondue for two and a shared dessert... That could be better! The service, however, is impeccable!

Were here with our class in November. Super nice staff, authentic, great ginger shots, huge aperol spritzes (aperolis? Aperoli Spritz?). We had a wonderful evening and at the end we were treated to Swiss chocolate. Clear recommendation

Swiss gastronomy in the middle of Berlin. And now also as a real “hut”. The eye-catcher in Berlin. It's a must to watch.

The 4th of us wanted to look at a completely new kitchen, so we decided on a traditional Swiss cheese fondue from Black Heidi. How this works would be briefly explained to us after taking a look at the map. We were amazed that at a price of €30 per person, there was no side dish apart from bread. Additional side dishes were about €5 extra each. Of course quality costs, but for me personally that clouded the price/performance ratio. When everything was served, we quickly realized that cheese fondue was probably not for us. You mainly tasted the wine that was included in the fondue. We didn't have anything to compare it to, but we were sure that more cheese flavor would have been really good. The side salads and dessert were delicious. The ambience was also appealing, but not something that I would necessarily want to visit again. But it's definitely worth a visit for cheese fondue lovers.

We were really looking forward to the visit. We had ordered our table online in advance. When we arrived we were given a table on the gallery with a view of the kitchen and bar. The seating is very tight. We ordered 2 starters and the truffle fondue. We enjoyed the food very much - unfortunately we have to deduct 1 point for the service. The two girls were more occupied with themselves, the food sat around for a long time despite the kitchen ringing several times and we would have liked more attention - actively asking for more drinks..,

All 3 versions of the cheese fondue were very tasty. Cool drinks

I've been debating with myself what would be a good rating, but did downgrade eventually. The restaurant is pretty tight, and you are sitting very close to each other, which gives a very crowded feeling. The waitress seemed to be new, who served us because she missed a view of our orders and confused it with others, although we asked twice whether everything was clear. The boss was well organized and excused for the others, but still wasn't so cool. Food was good and tasty, but 2 of us felt badly the next day. Maybe because of the cheese overload.

Die schwarze Heidi ist ein interessantes, etwas höherpreisiges kleines Restaurant mit sehr sehr nettem Personal und richtig gutem Schweizer Essen. Ich fand es "mal was Anderes" und sehr kuschelig schön dort. Mein Maultaschensalat hat prima geschmeckt!

Leider zu teuer für ein Käsefondue. (27,50€ pro Person) Etwas zu flüssig und die Brotstücke zu groß. Geschmacklich war es aber lecker. Wir saßen direkt am Eingang, die Tür ging auf und zu, es war sehr kalt.

I think it’s a little bit more expensive But Nice fondue

Grundsätzlich ein nettes Lokal mit gutem Essen. Beim Käsefondue waren die Meinungen 50/50; die Männer fanden es super, ich und meine Freundin waren weniger begeistert, mir hat es zu stark nach Alkohol geschmeckt was leider auch nicht auf der Karte stand (ja, er gehört klassisch rein, ein Vermerk wäre trotzdem schön). Meine Freundin bestellte dann Käsespätzle, die schmeckten gut, haben einen aber auch nicht vom Hocker gehauen. Der Service war freundlich und bemüht aber auf Grund von neuem Personal auch überfordert und gestresst (es wurden Sachen vergessen oder berechnet, obwohl man sie von der Rechnung streichen wollte, Kleinigkeiten). Für mich persönlich sind die Preise zu hoch gewesen.

Wir hatten das Restaurant aufgrund einer TV-Empfehlung für ein Abendessen während unseres Berlin Aufenthalts ausgesucht. Wir wurden zwar freundlich bedient, aber die Qualität der Speisen und das Ambiente des Restaurants konnten uns nicht überzeugen: Beim Züricher Geschnetzeltes und dem Berner Rösti blieb nur ein fader Geschmack in Erinnerung. Auch dem Beilagensalat fehlte die Würze. Das Lokal ist nicht sehr groß und weist bei voller Besetzung einen hohen Geräuschpegel auf, der eine Unterhaltung am Tisch nachhaltig stört. Der Bezug zur Schweiz ist in der Inneneinrichtung des Lokals kaum zu erkennen und wurde als lieblos empfunden. Fazit: Einmaliger Besuch, ohne Wiederholung. Schade!

Das Essen war prima und schmeckte. Das drum herum war leider nicht gut.. Kennt ihr das, wenn man möchte, dass es gut war, unter dem Strich allerdings immer wieder zu einem anderen Ergebnis kommt? Fehler passieren. Hier war es die Menge an kleinen Fehlern. Mene Frau konnte die Schrift auf der Tafel nicht gut lesen und wurde auf Nachfrage, aufgefordert einfach näher heran zu gehen... Die Kellnerin konnte die Vorspeise nicht erklären und wusste nicht das Grog auf der Karte steht (kann passieren) Das erste bestellte Gericht war dann doch nicht mehr verfügbar (kann passieren) Das Gericht meiner Frau war anders als bestellt (kann passieren) Immerhin, meiner Frau wurde ein Schnaps angeboten, bei dem ich zugucken durfte. Nicht falsch verstehen. Mir geht es nicht um die Menge und selbstverständlich ist das auch nicht unbedingt. Nur war ich auch im Nachteil und durfte alleine essen, da meine Frau auf das richtige Essen warten musste. Da hätte ich mir gewünscht, entweder eine kleine Entschuldigung für uns beide oder gar nichts. (Wieder eine Kleinigkeit, die einzeln vermutlich kein Gewicht hat) Zum Schluss wurde das erste Gericht, welches nicht verfügbar war, berechnet (kann passieren) Nach unserem Empfinden hätte es in dem Restaurant etwas wärmer sein können.

Der Abend war gemütlich... Das Essen sah besser aus als es gescheckt hat

Die Schwarze Heidi ist ein super tolles schweizer Lokal. Die Speisen sind alle super Lecker (wir hatten diesmal Fondue, aber auch die Röstis sind super lecker). Wir hatten einen super schönen Abend, und das Glück, dass die Besitzerin auch da war: Wir haben uns sofort wie zu Hause gefühlt und ein bisschen Heimat in Berlin genießen können! Vielen lieben Dank für den schönen Abend, liebe Jenni und Team, es war super! Also für Schweizer ein kleines Fleckchen Heimat und für alle anderen: ein tolles Restaurant mit leckerem Essen und uriger Atmosphäre. Sehr zu empfehlen.

Einen Stern für das nette Ambiente und einen Stern für das gute Essen. Wir hatten das Trüffel-Käsefondue. Für meinen Geschmack hätten die Brotecken kleiner sein können. Habe Sie mir dann zerupft. Leider hatten wir die Spicy Heidi als Getränke bestellt und wussten nicht, dass da Alkohol drin ist. Wäre gut, dies in der Karte zu vermerken! Mein Mann konnte dieses Getränk daher nicht trinken und es blieb stehen. Auf sein alkoholfreies Hefeweizen musste er sehr, sehr lange warten. Wir waren fast fertig mit dem Essen. Die Kellnerin brachte in der Zwischenzeit ein falsches Getränk. Sie verstand uns sehr schlecht und wir sie. Insgesamt musste mein Mann 5x fragen, wann er denn sein Getränk bekommt und irgendwann war es uns dann auch egal und wir hatten schon mit dem Wunsch nach einem kühlen alkoholfreien Bier abgeschlossen. Da preislich sehr hochangesetzt vom Niveau, hatten wir auch einen entsprechenden Service erwartet, der leider nicht stattfand. 30€ pro Person, allein das Fondue. Die Tische für zwei Personen sind viel zu klein. Es passte kaum alles auf den Tisch. Man hatte eher das Gefühl, die Kellnerin meidet die Gäste. Es wurde nicht einmal nachgefragt ob wir zu frieden sind, ob es schmeckt, ob wir noch was möchten. Schade. Gerne hätten wir noch ein Dessert bestellt. Da die Kellnerin aber nie greifbar war, liehen wir uns die Karte vom Nachbarstisch. Entschieden haben wir uns für kein Dessert aufgrund der sehr hohen Wartezeit. Dazu muss man sagen, der Laden ist klein und übersichtlich. Er war voll aber es war schaffbar. Kamen uns eher vor wie in einem Touri-Restaurant und nicht in einem hochwertigen Restaurant, wo man "glücklicher nach Hause geht als wir gekommen waren". Das Konzept ging leider bei uns nicht auf an unserem Hochzeitstag. :(

Die Schwarze Heidi ist ein Kreuzberger Highlight. Die Speisen sind sehr lecker und der Service ist sehr aufmerksam und steht beratend zur Verfügung. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und würden gern wiederkommen. Nur Parkplätze in der Nähe sind Mangelware.

Großartig, Top! Sehr freundlicher und angenehm herzlicher Service bringt leckerste moderne wie traditionelle Köstlichkeiten an liebevoll dekorierte Tische. Es gibt auch tolle Trinkgläser bei entspanntem Techno. Fast besser als in der Schweiz. Hohe Qualität, kein Schnäppchen. Eine Bereicherung für den Kiez & Berlin. Vielen Dank!

Das Lokal ist wirklich schön und der Service super freundlich. Wir hatten einen Röschti, Käsespätzle und den Röschtiburgern und es hat uns wirklich gut geschmeckt. Für mich ein empfehlenswerter Laden. Natürlich hat Qualität seinen Preis und ich halte die Preise des Lokals grundsätzlich für angemessen, jedoch nicht günstig. ABER das ein einziger Rötschti (veggie) so viel kostet wie ein Burger (mit Fleisch) ist für mich nicht so richtig nachvollziehbar.
