A good 2 out of 3 stars. Simple but fresh, good, homemade dishes (pork schnitzel, fried potatoes, salad). No menu, unfortunately, no selection either. At least there's an alternative drink (beer) in the summer months. A truly fantastic location. We'll try it again. !!!

I felt like I'd been transported back 30 years when we entered this restaurant. The atmosphere was indescribable. You look for something like that these days, and it's rare to find it. The owner is warm and authentic. The food we ordered in advance was delicious and plentiful. The atmosphere in the dining room was pleasant and transported us back to a better time. If you want to spend a good, delicious, and enjoyable time in an inn, this is the place for you.

Unfortunately, I couldn't rate the food because of high demand. Based on the menu and other reviews, it must be very good.

Great restaurant! We were here with 6 adults. The landlady conjured up 6 staumme Max for us at our request! Great! Just like in the "old days." DELICIOUS! Very friendly staff! They still have bar service and a regulars' table, which is very popular. Simply quaint and nice! We felt very comfortable and would love to come back...

Yesterday, we had breakfast here with 20 people, as per our request. The selection and service were excellent; food was constantly being refilled, and requests were promptly addressed. We highly recommend this restaurant!

Nice people and good service. Small selection of dishes but they are very tasty, we would like to come back.

We went there for a coffee after the dog walk. The lady was very nice and made fresh coffee and came to wipe the table straight away. We sat in the pavilion, it was very comfortable.

We sat outside. We had delicious bread and coffee. The toilet was very clean.

Delicious gypsy schnitzel from the pan - crispy fried potatoes and crispy salad - everything freshly prepared and very friendly service at a reasonable price... simply great... keep it up - we'll be back...

What a cozy sibling meal it was 🤩 we actually just reserved the table 😘 but then we were treated to a great schnitzel and fries meal! Mega tasty and so wonderfully relaxing! We'd love to come back!!! Thanks Doris!

Super meat, super big, super juicy, super tasty

As always in recent years, it was a tasty meal like in grandma's time. The boss was also very friendly, as always. A trip here is always worth it. Keep it up.

A cute, little restaurant almost halfway along the great hiking trail from Reken. We only had a drink but the cakes looked amazing. The landlady was very nice and we will definitely come back. Prices absolutely reasonable. Location is on a street but there is very little traffic. If my review helped you, please leave a thumbs up.

Super freundliche Wirtin, schönes Ambiente. Auf die Frage, was es zu essen gibt, kam die Antwort " nur Schnitzel mit Pommes oder Bratkartoffeln und Salat"😍 Der Salat sehr frisch, die Möhren wahrscheinlich grad frisch gerieben , das Dressing am Blattsalat sehr lecker. Das Schnitzel frisch gebraten, nicht frittiert, Bratkartoffeln knusprig und die Pommes knackig. Wir waren sehr zufrieden, der Umweg von der Autobahn hat sich gelohnt! Wir geben 6 von 5 möglichen Sternen!

Habe heute zum ersten Mal dort gegessen und es hat mir sehr gut geschmeckt. Auch der selbst gebackene Kuchen war sehr lecker. Ich komme gerne wieder.

Kurzum: Wie bei Muttern... Schnitzel wie es sein muss!😉👍

Also ..... ich kannte diesen Ort bzw. Gastronomie nicht. Wir wollten was essen und ein Bierchen. Als wir nach der Karte fragten antwortete man uns ....gibt es nicht .Nur ein Gericht ! Schnitzel mit Bratkartoffeln oder Pommes und Salat . Jetzt haltet euch fest !!! Lecker lecker lecker 😋 😋 😋 Kann ich nur weiter empfehlen !! Daumen hoch. Echt super . Das ganze hat für zwei essen und trinken nich mal 40 € gekostet .

Habe mit meinen Arbeitskollegen meinen Ausstand gefeiert. Alle waren begeistert. Essen war gut und reichlich. Personal freundlich! Alles in allem ein gelungenes Fest Werner G.

Hier kann man nur alle Sterne vergeben. Super nette Wirtin. Wir hatten uns nicht angemeldet. Trotzdem zauberte die Wirtin für unsere 10 Köpfige Gruppe innerhalb einer dreiviertel Stunde einen sehr leckeren Kuchen auf den Tisch. Respekt!, wo gibt's das noch?

Oft dort gewesen - immer wieder gut u. zu empfehlen! So eine nette Wirtin wie Doris findet man heute noch selten dazu d. gute Essen aus "Mutters Küche". Besucht mal diesen besonderen "Ort d. Einfachheit "- Zufriedenheit ist vorprogrammiert!

Eine gute Anlaufstelle für eine Rast. Besonders den Kuchen und das Essen ist Top.

Meine spontane Entscheidung war richtig und gut. Lecker gegessen, freundliche Bedienung, gemütlich gesessen, was will man mehr.

Eine kleine, gut bürgerliche Kneipe etwas außerhalb von Reken. Die Küche ist hervorragend 👍und Doris, die Wirtin immer sehr nett und sehr fleißig. Ruhig Mal anhalten, wenn man in der Nähe ist. Auch hervorragend für Familien mit Kindern 🪁oder Bikern 🏍️

Schöne kleine Räumlichkeiten. Leckeres Essen.

Uhrige Kneipe mit Gastronomie, sehr angenehme, schönes Ziel mit dem Rad.

Ich kann mich nicht erinnern wann ich in einer Gaststätte so ein leckeres Schnitzel (groß, mager und saftig) mit Pommes (super heiß und knusprig) gegessen hätte. Freundliche Wirtin.
