Wonderful stop after a great walk

Friendly service, delicious food. Prices normal.

A cozy restaurant. A large green Berlin oven decorates the room. You can also buy smoked trout there. They are simply delicious. It would be nice if you decided to put salt and pepper on the tables.

Unfortunately it's closed on Mondays and Tuesdays, but I'll make up for that in November. The environment is very beautiful and I will come again.

Good gastronomy and comfortable. Cake homemade. You can also enjoy the view from the tower when the weather is nice.

Food was very tasty, ambience in the tower was very nice, in the annex building it was okay. The card with the “funny” misogynistic jokes is completely out of date. You can stop by if you're in the area. If the restaurant is a little more modern, it would also like more stars.

Unfortunately we couldn't get a seat... It was packed. Without a reservation you definitely can't do anything here when the sun is shining... unless you wait patiently for a free table.

Beautiful area for a walk. Wanted to eat something in the restaurant afterwards. We had been standing there for 10 minutes when a cellar finally asked how many people there were, we answered 2 and the group behind us were 4. They were first led to a table. In these 10 minutes we also heard a cellar saying to guests who wanted to pay when he had time. So without a word. Very disappointing.

Idyllic location. Food was great. Nice staff and fast service. The menu was fascinating and something different. Made funny. Always receives a friendly welcome.

Stopped for Sunday lunch without registering after our son's soccer tournament, the outdoor area was very well attended and there was apparently a private event in the building next door. We were politely asked to sit at a free table, some of which was in the sun. They apologized that it wasn't completely in the shade, but that wasn't a problem for us. Fast and friendly service and very tasty food, and with over 33 crad, praise goes to the employees who handled this very well. It is very difficult or impossible to find motivated staff. Highly recommended and best regards from the Coming Pizza team from Bad Düben.

It was very windy today, but otherwise everything was okay.

Nice large terrace, very good food, whether it's the cake or the trout. The menu is designed very specifically, it takes some time to choose something while reading through the funny sayings. Thank you for the very friendly service Unfortunately I have to complain about the cleanliness of the toilets. Positively, there is still a functioning disinfectant dispenser in front of the toilets. Unfortunately, this is rarely available anymore.

In the city forest of Bad Schmiedeberg, at Weinbergstrasse 33, the 30 m high Kaiser Wilhelm Tower houses the “Schöne Aussicht” restaurant, which has been reopened since 2019... It is open from Wednesday to Sunday between 11:30 a.m. and 9:00 p.m. for guests of all kinds... The menu is extensive and you can enjoy delicious, fresh local products both inside and outside... Reservation is recommended!

Very great restaurant with super delicious food. Unfortunately, we only went there once on vacation, otherwise we would definitely have gone there again.

While looking for a restaurant where you can sit outside when the weather is nice, we came across "Schöne Aussicht" on the Internet and we are thrilled. Great outdoor area, nice and courteous staff, and very good food, what more could you want. A plentiful main menu, a delicious ice cream sundae with the coffee... everything was perfect. Thanks to the entire team, we will definitely be back.

Excursion point with a tower and restaurant in the middle of the heath. The restaurant is always busy - it's a good idea to make a reservation in advance - otherwise you might find yourself standing around at the entrance or being sent away. The menu is informative and funny, the offerings are manageable but definitely tasty. When you find something you like, it tastes good. If you don't like goulash, schnitzel or Mutzbraten, then it becomes difficult. So check the offer online beforehand to see if it is acceptable. Otherwise everything was quick and friendly, I was more or less satisfied, the schnitzel was ok, but nothing that you couldn't get at a snack bar for significantly less. The rest just didn't suit me. I would have expected more / better / different / more innovative for the price asked, but my family was very satisfied.

We were looking for a nice restaurant with an outdoor terrace in the Bad Schmiedeberg area. On Uncle Google we found the restaurant "Schöne Aussicht" We are excited.. In the middle of a lot of greenery with excellent service. We were immediately greeted and assigned a nice table...since many people had already ordered in advance...but we weren't... Lunch came very quickly and was plentiful and very tasty We liked it there so much...beautiful in the countryside that we stayed until coffee time...we rounded off our visit to "Schöne Aussicht" with coffee and an ice cream sundae ..at the end we took a great pub newspaper with us GREETINGS to all employees...we'll be back👍👍👍👍👍

Service was very polite, attentive and relaxed. Great food, extravagant dishes that I haven't read before. The menu, which is designed as a newspaper, contains lots of funny sayings and can also be purchased, is also great. Shortened the waiting time, but it wasn't long. The restaurant lives up to its name. The food is very tasty, a little more expensive but you are eating in the middle of the forest 😁 What you miss as a biker is a special parking area that is paved. The motorcycle needs a permanent place to stand.

In my opinion, the food has unfortunately lost a lot of quality. The service is good and so is the ambience, but when it comes to food, the quality and price absolutely don't match. And food is the most relevant thing for me in a restaurant.

I was shocked. The food and service was great, except that there wasn't a vegan option. But when I looked at the map, I couldn't believe my eyes...I've never seen such a misogynistic map and, if it hadn't been a family trip, I would have left immediately. No way, who designed this card?

The food was good and didn't take long. It was very quiet and relaxed. The atmosphere was also very nice. After eating you can go to a 30 meter high viewing tower (entrance fee €1).

The beautiful view is also really one. The food is on top. Tasty, juicy, the price/performance goes well together. The tower can be reached via stairs if you are comfortable on foot. 1 euro to move up further is fine. You should be free from vertigo. The view and signs on all four corners about where things are located are very impressive. Gladly again. Simply great.

A beautiful excursion restaurant with very tasty and rich food. This is the second time I've been here and I'm thrilled for the second time. A very special compliment to the great service, the friendliness and the good mood.

The food was very tasty. I had schnitzel, asparagus (4 sticks), hollandaise sauce (unfortunately from the package) and croquettes (4 pieces) 😞 I didn't think the price of just under 22 euros was appropriate, even if the asparagus is more expensive this year. Otherwise it was pretty good all in all.

Very nice and entertaining service, the homemade lemonade and the food were delicious. After dinner we went to the observation tower.

We had reserved places for lunch on Easter Sunday. Due to the nice weather we were able to choose a table outside without any problems. The entire staff was very, very friendly and always there for you immediately if you had a request. The food was very good and filling. Very good food, nice friendly staff

Yesterday we had dinner with the family😁 We know the beautiful view, we live nearby and it was important to us not to drive too far away to eat with small children. The food was delicious, rich and fresh, the service was quick and amusing, always with a funny saying on the lips. The children were included. Unfortunately I have to deduct a star because the food wasn't hot, which is probably because it was brought across the farm. The short walk through the forest and 140 steps down and back up again were just right. We'll be back 👍keep it up

Today the three of us had lunch...very tastefully decorated dining room. Small, clear menu... Everything is freshly cooked, only the croquettes and the potato wedges probably come from the frozen bag. Personally, I miss dumplings with goulash... or boiled potatoes... Overall, it's a very tasty meal. Price wise completely okay. 3 adults around 60 euros... ..the host is always chatty with something to say...the service is nice, careful and quick. The tower can be climbed .. I recommend doing it before eating... The portions are plentiful.. There is a hall-like extension for larger events. Freestanding without a direct connection to the restaurant. We'd love to come back.

Reservation via OpenTable went smoothly. The waitresses were nice and very friendly. A well mixed selection of dishes. The food was really very tasty - mushroom sauce with fresh mushrooms, a fresh schnitzel and fried potatoes that were worth the name, no frozen fries, but cut yourself, the salad had a great dressing, the Mutzbraten wasn't a bit dry. We were really excited and the price-performance ratio was absolutely right here. Only the toilet situation with a walk into the next building is a bit uncomfortable in sub-zero temperatures, but that can be overcome given the delicious food. If we're in the area again, we'd love to come back. You should definitely reserve a table before your visit.

Trotz eines Feiertages und ohne Reservierung spontan dort einen Platz bekommen. Sehr schön. Das Essen kam schnell, der Service ist prima.... Das war eine schöne Stärkung. Nach dem Essen noch schnell hinauf zum Turm. Sowas gefällt uns.

Tolle Location mitten in der Dübener Heide, leckeres Essen und vor allem eine sehr liebevoll und kreativ gestaltete Speisekarte 👍😄 Ach so, und es gibt Trinkhalme aus Glas, so hat das Aperol gleich nochmal so gut geschmeckt 😉🙏 Fazit: ganz toll, unbedingt empfehlenswert, und wir werden sicher nochmal wiederkommen, dann auch mit mehr Zeit für einen Spaziergängen durch die wunderschöne Waldlandschaft

Sehr schöne Lage. Ein Besuch ist es wert,das Essen schmeckt,alles frisch zubeteitet. Selbst gebackenen Kuchen. Freundlich und nett.

Ein schönes Restaurant an der schönen Aussicht. Ein freundlicher Service, die Karte ist gut gemacht mit lustigen Sprüchen. Die Auswahl ist klein aber fein, für jeden was dabei. Das Essen hat auf jedenfall geschmeckt :)

Mitten im Wald auf einer Anhöhe mit einem historischen Aussichtsturm unweit von Bad Schmiedeberg in der Dübener Heide gelegen. Auch und besonders im Herbst nach einem ausgedehnten Waldspaziergang wird man da von freundlichen Personal bewirtet. Man kann wunderschön draußen sitzen oder wem es zu kühl wird, findet auch in den zwei Gaststuben ein Plätzchen. Wir waren auch schon im Winter bei Schneefall da. Da sind dann nicht mehr viele Gäste da. Da ist es aber besonders zu empfehlen. Mam kann mit dem Auto direkt davor parken. Da können auch Leute, welche nicht allzu gut zu Fuss unterwegs sind problemlos einkehren. Schade dass es das tschechische Bier nicht mehr gibt.

Es ist ein wirklich schön gelegenes Lokal, was am Ende einer schönen Wanderung als Ziel lockt. Was mir nicht gefallen hat war das auf jedem Tisch Reserviert stand. Ich wurde zu der Wanderung mehr oder weniger überredet und konnte kaum noch Wasser sagen als wir ankamen. Man könnte auch ein Schild aufstellen mit: Sie werden platziert oder so. Naja der Eine sieht es so und der andere so. Die Bedienung ging flott von statten, das Essen hat geschmeckt und ein freundliches Gesicht wäre schön gewesen. Okay man kann nicht den ganzen Tag lächeln 😃. Aber die selbstgemachte Brause war Spitze.

Hatten Klassentreffen dort. Freundlichkeit ging so, Kaffee und Kuchen kamen sehr versetzt auf den Tisch, genau wie das warme Essen. War schon mal nicht so gut. 2. Kaffee wurde gänzlich ignoriert und Angebot Speisekarte eher mau. Schon besseres erlebt. Vor uns war aber wohl noch 1 Gesellschaft bis 1h davor. Ortsnah war Rallye, hing wohl mit dem Team zusammen. Und viele Touristen kamen extra separat noch dazu. Schulfreund hatte Mutzbraten bestellt, aber für 20€ viel zu wenig an Fleisch auf dem Teller. Der Kuchen aber zuvor hat geschmeckt und Kaffee ging so. Hatte Ragout Fin später für 6,90€ und war auch lecker. Banane - Hefeweizen auf Wunsch war auch gut gemixt und sehr süffig. Unsre Bedienung war flink, locker und lustig nur Dame hinterm Ausschank ließ zu wünschen übrig.

Das Restaurant direkt am Kaiser Wilhelm Turm ist sehr schön gelegen. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Die Speisen und Getränke sind sehr lecker und super angerichtet. Den Turm kann man besteigen und gegen einen kleinen Obolus kommt man auf die Aussichtsplattform. Von hier kann man bei gutem Wetter bis nach Leipzig schauen.

Wir waren leider nur kurz da. Auf dem Turm war es prima leider o. Die Bäume werden auch immer älter daher die Sicht nicht ganz so weit. Wir kommen gerne wieder und dann mehr. Tschüssi
