Sehr schönes Ambiente ,Essen sehr lecker nette Bedienung

Waren heute eine gute Bekannte in Bad Schmiedeberg besuchen und landeten zum Mittagessen in der Pfeffermühle und um es kurz zu machen guter Service nettes Personal aber vor allem das Essen war so super lecker also eine blanke Weiterempfehlung danke nochmal und Grüße aus dem schönen Land Brandenburg

Einfach unscheinbar am Eingang über den Hof Zugang, dann der Whow-Effekt....

Nach einer langen Anreise zum Campingplatz am Sonntag, freuten wir uns auf ein schönes, gemütliches Abendessen. Leider war der Campingplatz eine volle Enttäuschung und wir mussten uns was in der Nähe suchen. Zum Glück fanden wir das Restaurant Pfeffermühle. Es ist unbeschreiblich urig und gemütlich. Ein freundlicher Familienbetrieb der sein Handwerk versteht. Das Essen super lecker und die Bedienung wie auch der Chef sehr zuvorkommend. Sowas kennen wir aus unserer Gegend überhaupt nicht mehr. Wir kommen Donnerstag wieder👍🏻.

Sogar ein Stern wäre zu viel . Wir wollten was essen aber als wir den Hof betraten schüttelte eine Frau direkt den Kopf und sagte sie hat keine Lust mehr . Wir können hier nichts essen. Sie kann nicht mehr . Wir verstanden überhaupt nicht das Problem. Auch der Koch hatte anscheinend kein Bock mehr . Also gingen wir wieder und werden den Laden auch nicht mehr betreten

Wir sind um 20:00 Uhr ohne Reservierung angekommen – bei einer Öffnungszeit bis 22:00 Uhr eigentlich absolut im Rahmen. Die Reaktion der Kellnerin war allerdings alles andere als professionell: Ein genervtes „Nee, das geht gar nicht, das muss jetzt nicht sein“, gefolgt von Kommentaren des Kochs, dass er ja jetzt alles extra neu machen müsste. Wenn ein Restaurant überfüllt ist oder die Küche keine Kapazitäten mehr hat, haben wir dafür volles Verständnis. Ein freundlicher und professioneller Hinweis hätte völlig gereicht. Aber die Art und Weise, wie uns hier das Gefühl gegeben wurde, eine absolute Last zu sein, geht gar nicht. Kundenservice sieht leider anders aus.

Wir wurden auf eine sehr unfreundliche Weise abgewiesen.

Sehr schönes Freiluftrestaurant mit offner Freiluftküche, so das man dem Koch ( vermute Inhaber) bei der Arbeit zu sehen konnte. Einzige Manco: Tisch zu 18:30 bestellt und wir durften 18:05 noch nicht Platz nehmen obwohl der Tisch frei war. Das Essen aber super lecker und viel seitig.👍

Absolute top Adresse in Bad Schmiedeberg! Während der Reha des Öfteren dort gewesen. Das Essen ist an Preis Leistung nicht zu toppen. Die Outdoorküche und das Ambiente machen das ganze am Ende perfekt. Service & der noch selbst am Herd stehende Chef waren zu jederzeit top freundlich und man hatte immer sofort ein neues Getränk auf Tisch. Absolute Empfehlung der Moorbraten! Günstig, viel & lecker!

Restaurant mit schönem Biergarten und mit Outdoor-Küche. Das Essen war fantastisch und der Service super freundlich. Sehr zu empfehlen - vorallem der Bad Schmiedeberger Moorbraten.

Auf Empfehlung wollten wir in der Pfeffermühle zu Abend essen. Nach mehrmaligen Versuchen ist Telefonisch keiner zu erreichen, also gingen wir zeitig hin. Wir gingen in den Hof und sprachen die Servicekraft evtl. die Chefin? an. Wir sagten guten Abend hätten sie noch Platz für zwei Personen. Ohne Begrüßung und sich zu uns zu drehen kam einfach NEIN. So gingen wir enttäuscht wieder, nicht weil wir keinen Platz bekommen, wegen der unhöflichkeit dieser Frau. Das Essen können wir nicht bewerten und haben auch kein Interesse mehr daran.

Immer ein Besuch wird. Sehr lecker und schön.

Absolut empfehlenswert! Sehr gemütliches, rustikales Ambiente mit tollem Innenhof und offener Küche. Das Essen war frisch zubereitet, hervorragend gewürzt und die Portionen großzügig. Die Mitarbeiter sind freundlich und die entspannte Atmosphäre haben unseren Besuch perfekt gemacht. Preis-Leistung stimmt hier definitiv. Wer in Bad Schmiedeberg gut bürgerlich und mit Qualität essen möchte, sollte unbedingt vorbeischauen. Wir kommen gern wieder!

Ein tolles kleines Restaurant mit einen guten Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Wir hatten Steak ou four und können es nur wärmstens empfehlen. Der Service ist großartig, schnell und freundlich.

Ein schönes kleines gemütliches Lokal. Bestellten Gänseessen war lecker. Die Karte sah auch vielversprechend aus. Weiterempfehlen ist sicher! Die "Anreise" aus GHC hat sich gelohnt. Danke an den Koch und das ganze Team. Wir werden im Sommer den Biergarten auch noch testen.

Es ist Sonnabend der 08.11.25 13:41Uhr und laut Internet ist die Gaststätte von 11-14:30 Uhr geöffnet. Fehlanzeige....Dementsprechend kann ich keine Bewertung abgeben. P.S. Die Gaststätte wurde von einer Therapeutin des Eisenmoorbades empfohlen. Schade.

Wirklich leckeres Essen zu normalen Preisen. Personal war freundlich. Man sitzt draußen, aber es ist nicht kalt.

Das war eine gute Idee dort einzukehren, denn das Essen war mega lecker und der Service so etwas von freundlich... echt Klasse und auf jeden Fall sehr zu empfehlen.

Truly delicious food at a reasonable price. We were here for the second time and would come back anytime. You can tell the chef puts love into his cooking. The service staff is incredibly friendly. All in all, a thoroughly satisfying experience 😍

The big farewell dinner with the girls from rehab was supposed to take place here. Thankfully, we had reserved a table. The service seemed a bit unfriendly at first, but after engaging them in a brief conversation, the initial impression disappeared. Both the drinks and the food were incredibly delicious. The ambiance was lovely, but unfortunately, you couldn't book or visit the place on short notice. That's only possible with a table reservation well in advance.

Everyone has to decide for themselves what the place is like...we wouldn't go there again

I have to honestly say I was very shocked by the couple. My boyfriend and I wanted to go there for dinner, and according to the opening hours, they were still open. Since I'd only heard positive things about the Pfeffermühle, I thought, "Okay, let's go." However, that changed very quickly. When we arrived at the yard, the owner yelled at my boyfriend, but in a very strong tone: "What are you doing here? We're closed!" My boyfriend remained calm and explained that we didn't know, since it says outside that it's still open. The owners started swearing and getting loud. My boyfriend remained calm and even apologized. The couple was so rude and disrespectful, I've never seen such behavior before. I was so shocked, I didn't know what to say. Well, I'd rather go to the Greek restaurant!

We enjoyed our time there and the food immensely, but the very snippy and almost cheeky behavior of the owners is abysmal and defies all hospitality rules. We will never enter the establishment again and wish the hosts a speedy, undeserved "retirement."

We were there for lunch last Sunday. The food and service were absolutely excellent. I highly recommend it.

Unfortunately, we can't comment on the food, as we couldn't get a seat for two people, even though we could have at some of the tables. When we asked about it, the staff were very unfriendly. At the pizzeria next door, we received very friendly service, and the food was delicious, too.

You're only welcome there if you keep ordering. As soon as you don't order, you get a receipt thrown at you without even asking for it. The waitress (presumably the owner) is extremely unfriendly. The atmosphere is cozy and very pleasant.

Last night, we spontaneously visited the Pfeffermühle, after asking if we could still come. There were five of us rehab guests, and we left after the last treatment (which ended at 8:00 p.m.). When we arrived, we were informed that we had taken more than an hour. We apologized and were allowed to sit down. We were asked if we wanted anything else to eat, and we politely replied no. Immediately afterward, two women changed their minds and, before they even sat down, went to the manager to ask what was left. They wanted something else to eat. They were rejected in an unfriendly, loud manner, clearly audible to all the other guests. With the words: "No means no, that's it!" he disappeared into the restaurant's supply room. That was very unpleasant and inappropriate! Both women had approached the manager in a friendly manner. The service was very friendly, the drinks were like those in other restaurants. The ambiance was pleasant. Our mood was dampened. Cash only!

A rustic open-air restaurant serving German dishes. I wouldn't recommend dropping by spontaneously; we were turned away quite rudely on a Friday. They refused to seat us at tables that weren't full, didn't tell us to come later, and didn't offer to eat at the empty standing tables. A very unpleasant experience. If you don't want that, either make a reservation or drive to the beautiful viewpoint. It's also full there, but the staff is hospitable and the food is delicious.

The food was fantastic. Dogs are also allowed. They also made special arrangements for a guest who wanted vegetarian food, and they offered to prepare something that wasn't on the menu. I loved the ambiance. The staff were very good. However, they deducted one star for the fact that you could only pay in cash. That's outdated. I would have had to leave for a spontaneous visit. You have to plan ahead and bring enough cash. That's a shame.

We arrived in town and were looking for a last-minute place to grab a bite to eat in the evening. We found what we were looking for at the Pfeffermühle, where we were able to eat and drink good, home-style food at a good price. The ambiance is rustic, and the service was very attentive. When we were there, it wasn't very warm outside. Patio heaters made it a bit warmer, but in colder temperatures, an extra jacket is recommended. The customer is king here. You can customize everything to your liking. Highly recommended, and we'd be happy to return.

We spontaneously stopped by the restaurant in a very nice, cozy outdoor area. Staff very friendly and quick. Food and drinks very tasty and hearty in nature. You even have the opportunity to talk to the chef because part of the kitchen is outdoors. The prices are perfectly fine, you could even say inexpensive. Definitely recommended and if we're in the area again, we'll eat there.

Price/performance ratio is good. Food was very good, especially the burger was delicious. But cash alone is not traceable.

Everything is just right here. The owner is also the chef. I've never had such delicious garlic bread before. Everything is freshly prepared here. The service is absolutely warm with a quick saying on the tip of their tongue, that's how I like it!

Beautiful inn with a beer garden and great design, the food is fresh and, apart from the burnt fried potatoes, very good. Unfortunately, the burnt fried potatoes were just acknowledged by the service staff with the sentence, the chef doesn't like making them anyway, and no apology.

I'm currently in Bad Schmiedeberg at the Eisenmoor Clinic. Today I had a visit from my two best friends. And because I had already read a lot of positive things about the pepper mill on the internet. I booked a table for us for lunch. Now I have to say, unfortunately my expectations were not met. As a starter we had Soljanka, which wasn't really good in terms of taste, a lot of old sausage and was overcooked. So for the main course I chose the moor roast, the meat was very dry and the sauce was all overcooked as if it had been prepared too long. The side dishes, however, were good. A friend had roulade and she said exactly the same thing Not good meat, much too dry. Too bad.

A really great restaurant...in terms of food and ambience. However, the service could really be a bit nicer...we received a very snippy reception with the final statement: "of course they would also be happy to go next door".... So answer this as to whether that doesn't belong with the outside! We had never been there before and unfortunately we didn't know our way around. Seemed a bit annoyed or stressed. It's a shame...because we were still very polite and nice.

I can't say anything about the food. The very unfriendly reception was enough for us. The waitress had a snappy manner about her...really underground. However, you should keep in mind that the spa guests and visitors keep the restaurant running and bring in the money. You can also expect a nice shot of juice.
