Simple, home-style food, but good and very cheap, pure recommendation!

Simple, rustic pub and very nice barman. Food 1x brawn and 1x bratwurst with fried potatoes and a side dish were very good. In this historic town, the only place where you can get your fill. Thank you very much

It was the only way to get something to eat at 8 p.m. The old lady of the house once again agreed to make us a farmer's breakfast. It was great. Very nice service and the rustic atmosphere of an old pub was really nice. We don't have anything like that anymore.

Yes, there is smoking here. This is not particularly pleasant for non-smokers. But everything else is highly remarkable and worth protecting. The ambience. The service. The food. Everything is carefully preserved as it was around 1986. Actually a museum restaurant. You feel like you're in a movie. Go there before it's too late!

Alright folks, the store is a bomb. Nice host and guests who still talk to each other. Small menu but the food was top. In terms of price, you won't find anything cheaper anywhere.

If you want to experience a real GDR pub again in 2024, 35 years after the opening of the inner-German border, you must definitely stop by here in Pretzsch in central Germany, Saxony Anhalt on the Elbe. Here you will be greeted by a tap on the table when you come or go. I entered the pub and suddenly became 45 years younger and had to swallow because the memories suddenly came flooding back. Just come and enjoy the unadulterated and real thing while it still exists.

We came from our bike tour. There was no food in the hotel in Pretsch because it was a day off. We then went to this restaurant. Due to illness there was also no food. All other attempts didn't work either. The innkeeper then took pity on us. He made fries and sausages for the children and bockwurst or fried eggs for us. We would like to thank him very much again.

Sehr angenehm rustikal. Wie früher in einer dörflichen DDR-Kneipe. Karte ist klein aber die Gerichte sind sehr sehr lecker. Gut funktionierender kleiner Familienbetrieb, in dem noch bis ins hohe Alter hinein mit geholfen wird. Sehr sehr sympathisch.

Nice small German pub with "mother's kitchen' the food was great: big portions at great prices. It is a smoking pub so the smell might be a bit overwhelming for some but other than that it's a good place for a hungry (or thirsty) bike tourer.

Sehr nostalgisch.es ist eine Raucherkneipe, sehr unangenehmer Geruch gerade zum Essen gehen. Die Sterne gehen an die Oma/Mama für das Essen...

Nett, lecker und preiswert im DDR Flair .....

Absolut zu empfehlen! Die Teller waren reichlich gefüllt. Es hat super geschmeckt. Preis-Leistung unschlagbar. Wir hatten das Kasseler und die Bratwurst (mit Pommes etc.) und ein Hefeweizen / Fanta. Alles für unter 20 Euro. Der Gastwirt war sehr freundlich. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder! Wer das urige DDR-Ambiente nicht mag, sollte dort trotzdem einkehren, denn das Essen lohnt sich 😊 Wir haben uns wohl gefühlt.

Gefühlt wie kurz nach der Wende. Einfache aber sehr gute Küche hat geschmeckt wie bei Oma. Die Preis sind unglaublich niedrig. Danke für dieses Erlebnis.

Urig, mit Charme aus vergangenen Zeiten. Da mögen einige rummäkeln, aber ich mag's sehr gern. Die Bewirtung war gut und freundlich. Das Essen war frisch zubereitet. Alles gut!

Altes DDR Flair. Wer sowas liebt ... Die Speisen gut und günstig, die Bedienung freundlich aber der Zustand ist fragwürdig.

Wirklich ein toller Ort. Die Wirtschaft ist urig und ein bisschen scheint die Zeit dort stehen geblieben zu sein. Das Essen war frisch zubereitet und super lecker. Die Preise schon fast zu günstig. So etwas findet man nicht mehr oft... klare Empfehlung!

Nice old fashioned pub, most reasonable prices I've seen, very welcoming and simple but good food.

Wir wurden sehr nett empfangen und uns wurde Samstagabend ein ganz tolles Abendessen frisch zubereitet. Wir waren begeistert und mußte nicht hungrig ins Bett gehen. Vielen Dank dafür, wir kommen wieder. LG Fam. Sidek

Gemütlich ist es nicht, eher wie so ein Wartesaal am Bahnhof. Aber der sehr freundliche Wirt und das wirklich sehr leckere Essen machen den rauhen DDR-Charme wieder wett. Alles sauber und die Preise sind sowieso unschlagbar. Wenn Ihr in der Nähe seid, bitte geht mal hin. Solche Läden gibt es nicht mehr viele.

Meine Bewertung ist mein persönlicher Eindruck für einen einzigen Besuch. Ich wurde sehr liebevoll empfangen. Mein Bauernfrühstück war lecker, machte Satt und erinnerte mich an meine Kindheit. Die Preise günstig. Die gesamte Einrichtung macht einen urigen Eindruck mit alten Einrichtungsgegenständen, die gut erhalten und sauber sind. Leute geht hierher wenn ihr hier vorbeikommt. Denn es gibt nicht mehr viele von diesen Gaststätten und nur wenige können die Zeit vermutlich überstehen. Ich war als Radler am frühen Mittag alleine da aber es war alles tiptop.
