We went there for lunch. A super nice lady served us, singing cooks—something completely different and it was fantastic—a large selection of schnitzel dishes, and it tasted absolutely fantastic. Thank you and please keep up the good work 😀👍

We ate there on October 11, 1925. My schnitzel was so cooked around the edges that it was almost impossible to cut. We had to wait almost 45 minutes for the food, even though only three tables were occupied. I also ordered gravy. This turned out to be mushroom sauce. When I was paying, I asked the young man when the gravy had been changed to mushroom sauce. He actually got cheeky and said that couldn't be right. After all, he would know what he was filling. Of course. Each of us four guests could identify it as mushroom sauce, but the waitress got bitchy and didn't believe us. As a regular customer of the Schnitzelschmieden, I'm used to better. Unfortunately, I don't have the manager's phone number. In my frustration, I would have liked to call him. As a guest, I don't have to let the waiter take me for a fool. Conclusion: In the future, I'll only go to the professionals in Bäumchen.

Terrible. The prices are actually normal, but they're way too expensive for the service. The peas are way too hard, the salad is brown, and the schnitzel is dry. The food is generally sloppily served and looks completely unappetizing. Overall, a terrible price-performance ratio.

We haven't been here in about two years. The last time, the guests paid more attention to the dog than to us. He was petted several times, then drinks were brought to us... We never wanted to go back there... Today, after we'd been out since early, we dared to go. Everything was empty, and after eight minutes, we asked someone if we could order... He let us know. First, the young man walked past our table. Then, completely unmotivated, he took our order. The food wasn't tasty. But that was it. P.S. The kitchen was full of people, including children... they should probably do an inspection!!!

We stumbled into this restaurant by chance. It was a good move. This is the kingdom of escalope. There are all kinds. The quantity is more than sufficient, and if you can't finish your meal, you can take it home in a small box provided. I sincerely recommend this establishment.

Nothing against the service staff, but the food was truly run-of-the-mill! No love, no seasoning! It tasted like cafeteria food from the 90s. So I wouldn't recommend it! By the way, every table around us was complaining, and when asked if everything was okay, everyone replied, "Everything was great." You have to criticize, otherwise it can't get better! I hope you take it to heart.

Unfortunately, we had a miserable experience at the Schnitzelschmiede yesterday. After half an hour of asking where our food was, we were told that the colleague who had taken our order had forgotten to forward it to the kitchen. We didn't have to wait any longer, it wouldn't come – this statement was so unfriendly, and the fact that the apple spritzer was on the house was no excuse either. We left this inhospitable place at 8:15 PM, hungry.

We bought two schnitzels to go. They were quite dry, and the sauce was tasteless. The salad came with two packets of ready-made dressing.

This restaurant doesn't deserve the name "Schnitzelschmiede"! The schnitzels were tough, dry, and essentially inedible. My daughter had a pirate plate with a carelessly placed half a schnitzel—not even a whole little one, but a cut-up half. My 9-year-old daughter was given a knife, not just a fork, to eat with. So I had to cut her schnitzel like I was in kindergarten. My Cambert schnitzel was a joke—four slices of Cambert on one shoe sole were inedible. The waitress was completely overwhelmed with everything. My conclusion: once and never again, any motorway service station is better than this restaurant. What a waste of money

The atmosphere is very small and cramped, but cozy. The food is OK, but it didn't blow us away. The spinach still had a lot of long leaf stems attached. The service seemed stressed.

I've been coming here for years to visit my mom in the nursing home. The overall atmosphere is quaint and tastefully decorated. The staff is extremely attentive and friendly. Best of all: the schnitzel quality is consistently excellent 👍

Very good food, large portions, a separate children's menu, friendly staff, and good prices. Clean restrooms, perhaps a little tight on the toilets for changing a child, but I don't think that happens too often. At the end, there was even a 10% discount coupon, a really cool idea to entice customers again. Cash and card payments accepted. Parking is easy in the surrounding streets. I would describe the atmosphere in the restaurant as fitting the name.

Rustic location below Neu Augustusburg Castle, right on the main street, with parking in the side streets. Fast, friendly service and a large selection of schnitzel with various side dishes. Food plentiful and tasty, could be a little warmer.

A large selection of schnitzel dishes is offered here as well as a manageable amount of non-schnitzel dishes. The dishes we chose were always very tasty and really plentiful. The service was always polite and courteous. We (four people) always feel comfortable here and will come back here more often!
