Why no vegetarian schnitzel? We actually wanted to drop in but the veggie offer kept us away.... what a pity

First, you're forgotten and wait 1.5 hours for your food. Then the previous person's food is still stuck to your plate (on all plates, there were 7 people). And last but not least, the food was completely tasteless; they completely forgot all the seasoning. It's all incredibly sad. There are occasional smells outside that you don't really want to smell while eating. And it's also very noisy because of the highway. I wouldn't recommend it; I'd rather go somewhere else.

I would like to, and I will, recommend this place of enjoyment. Normally, you keep an insider tip to yourself. I would usually do that, too, but that wouldn't be right. I stumbled upon the Schnitzelschmiede by chance. Chance and my gut feeling, it worked out again. The food is exactly what I wanted it to be. I'm a child of the East, the price-performance ratio always has to be right, and above all, the taste is really important. I know that in many areas of the restaurant industry these days, this is no longer valued. That doesn't apply to the schmiede. Dear schmiede, stay true to your concept. Thank you for the good food. Very good cutlet, quite a large selection of versions. Everyone will find something for themselves. I chose randomly and it was quite fatty and heavy, but the taste was great. The portion was very large, I couldn't eat it all. The service was nice. Surprisingly, the waiting time for the dish was very short. And it was made fresh, because you can feel it. I recommend it!

We received a warm welcome and were seated. Since we arrived early enough, we still managed to get a table. Reservations are recommended. The restaurant is located on Route 91 and also offers guest rooms. Parking is readily available. The food was plentiful and reasonably priced. Side dishes are available separately. We would come back anytime.

Very good service. Delicious food. Well-appointed rooms. Beautiful surroundings. Unfortunately, there are no sidewalks or bike paths along the road, and there are no pedestrian crossings or pedestrian lights at the traffic lights. This is a real downside for the area!

Great food! But: the apartment had two twin beds for four people, which was not what we had agreed on. Not suitable for four big adult guys. No breakfast and the restaurant and bar were - on Saturday night! - closed at 9pm… 🥴 Nevertheless a mediocre rating

Highly recommended! It's asparagus season, and we were looking forward to asparagus with schnitzel – and we weren't disappointed! The portion size – especially the asparagus – was very generous! The asparagus was prepared al dente, and the schnitzel was large, super crispy, and simply delicious. The service staff is also super responsive and flexible. Run-of-the-mill food. Nobody cared about my request for light-colored fried potatoes. They came in dark black. And they charged extra. The raw vegetable side dish was a small lettuce leaf and five corn kernels.

A cool, cozy atmosphere. The food selection is good and the dishes are delicious. Advance reservations are recommended, but even without them, we still managed to get a table. Thank you for your help, and we'll definitely be back.

We tried calling several times beforehand, but no one answered. When we arrived, we were told that if the house was full, they wouldn't answer the phone at all. That's all well and good, but that's why we have answering machines, so no one goes there for nothing.

Six of us went there for a birthday dinner. Super delicious food, but you have to come hungry. Nice, large portions. Friendly service that caters to the needs of guests, no matter how big or small. Reserving a table in advance is a good idea, especially on weekends. We'll definitely be back.

Very committed staff, I had my drink after a few minutes and my schnitzel after well under half an hour. This was very tasty, with matching sauce and croquettes as well as a fresh small side salad. I'll definitely be back.

Due to its location on the motorway and B91, it is often convenient for us to eat here. On the whole we have always been happy there. There are a variety of schnitzel variations and several XXL versions, so there is something for everyone. You put together your own side dishes, so the actual price doesn't include fries. You should be aware of this so that there are no surprises when paying.

Food was good, service was good. Prices are ok. It was pretty crowded. Unfortunately, as you walked there was a strong smell of kitchen and food. Was it due to the lack of ventilation. Toilets are maximum acceptable. But it is still recommended.

What makes a good schnitzel? Good meat and a crispy breading. The meat was strange in consistency and that's how it tasted. And why are 90% of schnitzel dishes with gravy? So that the crispy breading becomes nice and mushy. Thank God there was also “Italian schnitzel”, without gravy. When the schnitzel came, it was smothered in a strange tomato sauce - so that breading was gone too. There is nothing to complain about in terms of service or ambience. The service staff was very attentive and the decor was comfortable.

Great experience at the Schnitzelschmiede! There were four of us there and we were absolutely satisfied. The atmosphere is really cozy and designed with great attention to detail. The selection of schnitzels is huge, the portions are good, and everything tastes great. The prices are a little higher, but completely justified for the quality and location. I think it's particularly cool to have a 10% voucher that you can redeem within three months - a great idea to keep you coming back. There aren't too many seats inside, so you should definitely make a reservation. In summer the terrace offers significantly more space. Perfect for a relaxed dinner with family or friends. Clear recommendation for all schnitzel fans!

All in all okay but a bit disappointing for a schnitzel house. The schnitzel was not fresh and homemade but rather a ready-made item. I don't expect something like that in a schnitzel house. It was still tasty, service was very friendly, nice atmosphere. Diverse range of options, a bit too expensive for ready-made schnitzel but acceptable.

It took half an hour for someone to take our order. Another half hour later and the food was there. Schnitzel as is. One forgets their order and the other gives a hard schnitzel. In terms of taste, the fried potatoes were almost unseasoned, as was the schnitzel. Here 3 lemons helped for some flavor.

Never again... Even if the food tastes good, it is ruined by the incredibly unfriendly service. We were told at the beginning that we would be allowed to sit for a maximum of 2 hours because after that the table would already be given to the next person. The food came about 40 minutes before we were supposed to leave. 10 minutes before the desired end of our evening, the waitress told us in a very rude manner that we should get up now and pay, after all we were supposed to sit for a maximum of 2 hours. At that point, the waitress saw that not everyone had finished eating. It's not that we don't understand that the restaurant is busy and the reservations are scheduled closely. But the way the waitress brought it across doesn't work at all...Especially since we reserved the table two weeks in advance for our larger group. The restaurant should have planned it better. 2 hours is far too little for groups of more than 4 people. I think it's a shame, the last time I was there was years ago and I was always satisfied, but this action really didn't work at all. There is simply better competition now.

The Schnitzelschmiede am Bäumchen is a real recommendation. It is better to book in advance at lunchtime and in the evening, as it is no longer an insider tip. The food is great and the selection of schnitzel variations cannot be beaten. The service is super nice and fast and after each visit you get a 10% voucher for the next time if it is within three months.

It was our first time there and we were very positively surprised! The service was impeccable and the food was plentiful! You should definitely be hungry! We had the Schnitzel Crete with herb rice and the Braumeister Schnitzel with croquettes. Both highly recommended! We'll be back!

A bit skeptical at first because I know the other restaurant in Weißenfels. But no comparison! Schnitzel lovers have come to the right place. Service is very friendly, accommodating and our little one's special requests are no problem. Will definitely plan a next visit. One thing as a note: the menu on the Internet should be corrected and adjusted to the 'on site' prices. Even if there are only small differences.
