The Schnitzelschmiede am Bäumchen is a real recommendation. It is better to book in advance at lunchtime and in the evening, as it is no longer an insider tip. The food is great and the selection of schnitzel variations cannot be beaten. The service is super nice and fast and after each visit you get a 10% voucher for the next time if it is within three months.

It was our first time there and we were very positively surprised! The service was impeccable and the food was plentiful! You should definitely be hungry! We had the Schnitzel Crete with herb rice and the Braumeister Schnitzel with croquettes. Both highly recommended! We'll be back!

A bit skeptical at first because I know the other restaurant in Weißenfels. But no comparison! Schnitzel lovers have come to the right place. Service is very friendly, accommodating and our little one's special requests are no problem. Will definitely plan a next visit. One thing as a note: the menu on the Internet should be corrected and adjusted to the 'on site' prices. Even if there are only small differences.

Nice place to linger and have a really good meal, for children there is a "Monstermatsche" pasta with tomato sauce and our large hunting sausage slice, super tasty!

Service again unfriendly. Guests are turned away at the door even though tables are free. Of course, you can also create less work this way.

So: If you want to eat here, you should make a reservation in advance. Unfortunately, you won't get anything in the short term. We were there an hour before closing time and nothing was possible. Even same-day reservations are not possible and will be blocked. The service staff seems stressed to the point of being overwhelmed, trying to somehow do everything at the same time (checking in for us and entertaining the other guests). The rooms are really very sporadic. A single room was booked, which contained a single bed (which was clean and sufficient). Unfortunately, the sink in the bathroom was very tiny, making it difficult to wash there. The establishment is located directly on the B91 federal highway, which unfortunately also means that it is not particularly quiet here at night (especially not with the window open). I would therefore recommend earplugs for overnight guests. Unfortunately I can't rate the food because we couldn't eat here for the reasons mentioned above.

This is the second time I've been there while passing through and it's a quiet, secluded place on the terrace, even though it's externally on the country road. Food is good.

Good home cooking. As it should be in a schnitzel restaurant, lots of choice, lots of meat. Food tasted good and service and ambience were great. We had cucumber salad as a starter and various schnitzel dishes. All in all, highly recommended. As a bonus, after payment you always get a 10% discount voucher so that you can come back again. I was pleasantly surprised.

Totally bad, frozen schnitzel - ready-made sauce - canned vegetables, I would write if we lived nearby so we could always get a place. Cauliflower schnitzel with cauliflower without thick stalks and baked with delicious cheese is the truth. No matter what you choose for the schnitzel here, it is fresh and perfectly prepared. Despite the announcement when we arrived that it might take a little longer, everything went pretty quickly. Nice staff are available for free and really reasonable prices. We'll be back, no question.

We wanted to eat at the Schnitzelschmiede yesterday. Would like to sit outside. There was a sign that said please register inside if you wanted to sit outside. We registered with the statement that we should sit at a small table, there were 3 of us. But the only place in the shade was a large table that can only be occupied by 5 people or more. (29 °C and sun). We sat there anyway. The employee came and told us to sit at a small table. When we asked if he would open a parasol, he said no and directed us inside. Then he said that if they didn't like it, they were welcome to leave. We did that too. CONCLUSION: no customer friendliness, although umbrellas were available, they were not opened.

Good location on the main road with plenty of parking. “Rustic” furnishings inside and a very nice courtyard outside with plenty of seating, framed by a wall that blocks out the noise of the street well. Really nice and courteous staff. Good selection on the menu, there is something for every taste, even for the vegetarians in the group. (Various salads and every schnitzel dish can be ordered “meatless”) The order arrived very promptly despite the seats being full. Freshly prepared, tastes great and a really large portion. Priced ok, in the middle segment. Conclusion: Not a five star fancy shop with homeopathic portions but good fresh cuisine to fill you up. That's how it should be 👍🏻

Nice place, close to the highway exit. Tasty dishes. Expensive drinks. We came across a lady who was either not having a good day or was simply rude to us. Overall ok. The second lady was helpful. Our child ate 30% of the dish and, like in every restaurant, we took out our lunch thermos and put our son's food into it, and the lady started saying and showing that we are not allowed to take it. Very weak. We haven't encountered this type of behavior before

Oh well .... First of all, I have to say that the service staff really tried hard, but two people on the weekend are simply not enough. We waited 30 minutes for drinks and a full hour for our food, which is really a challenge with a toddler. When the food came, parts of the order were wrong, the cutlery was completely missing, another 10 minutes passed before the last food and cutlery arrived. The food that was brought first was now almost cold. Everything in my meal was fried, so you can't go wrong. In 2 dishes with boiled potatoes and asparagus, both the asparagus and the potatoes were almost raw. The asparagus was difficult to cut and raw potatoes wouldn't work at all. The hollandaise wasn't homemade either, but mush from the packaging. We asked for new potatoes and got the angry answer that this wouldn't help and after another 30 minutes of waiting we were given a new meal, unfortunately again almost raw, we couldn't eat this either. The almost full plates were ignored by the service staff when they were cleared away; there was no request for compensation, only the bill. The service staff tried hard and can't do anything for a bad cook. The management also lacks training in dealing with customers and appropriate customer service, because you won't find that here.

Very cool. Even though everything was reserved, the landlord was still able to organize 2 places. I recommend pre-ordering. Good food, good prices but at least at our table there was very little space, but I blame that on the full guest list, so no points are deducted. Always my pleasure.

We live 350 km one way away and are often nearby and drive past. We were there 3 times. 1st visit for four people got a table, but we were told we had to hurry because the table was already reserved. OK, understandable 2. Visit for two. The restaurant was almost empty, only 1-2 tables were occupied, and they said there was nothing left available. Incomprehensible. 3. Visit for two. The restaurant was 100% empty, the chairs were still on the tables, it was Saturday evening at 6:45 p.m. We were told everything was fully booked. Absolutely incomprehensible. We asked if we could sit outside and that was also denied for no reason. Here you choose your guests, that's my impression. We won't stop there anymore.

We stayed in the guesthouse, Room was OK, Unfortunately, at half past six in the morning there was no warm water to wash and shower, very annoying for me 🥴 From 7:00 a.m. there was suddenly warm water 🤷‍♂️ good for my wife...☺️ The restaurant looked very cozy when we registered, but unfortunately there was no space left for the evening, so you should make a reservation... and, unfortunately there was no breakfast, which was already stated when booking...

We treated ourselves to culinary delights before Easter in a rustic atmosphere. As the name of the restaurant suggests, there was schnitzel. We started with garlic bread and the grand finale was a Texan-style schnitzel. Despite the starter and lots of beans, it was manageable and we literally rolled out of the restaurant. The guys and girls at the service were always friendly and we didn't have to wait long for our orders. The only negative point is in relation to the opening time. I personally find the closing time at 9:00 p.m. a bit early. We'd love to come back.
