We were here with colleagues for a small Christmas party. I had the Greek salad as a starter (almost too much for a starter), which was good but not quite the typical Greek salad I'm used to. Sometimes less is more. For my main course, I had the schnitzel with cheese sauce... The sauce was delicious but also quite rich. The schnitzel was very tender and well-seasoned. I enjoyed it, and the portion was generous. My colleagues all enjoyed their meals as well. It was a lovely evening. 👍

Same place, new owners, new atmosphere. Years ago, this restaurant was a popular geocaching meeting place for events, then it changed hands and everything changed. Today we discovered online that Schnitzelparadies has a new owner again. We received a friendly welcome and excellent service. The schnitzel portions are huge and delicious. They also offer pizza and pasta dishes, salads, and chicken nuggets and fries. The price-performance ratio is very good. I give it 10 out of 10.

We were a group of nine, and the white marble ambiance was truly elegant. They went out of their way to accommodate us. The friendly staff looked after us to the best of their ability. The food was absolutely perfect. We'll be back! Best regards, Staiger FC

Yesterday was our first time eating there since the change of ownership, and I have to say I was a bit surprised because I didn't realize the restaurant had changed so much. You should always give new people (owners) a chance and not condemn everything just because it's different. My son and I definitely thought our food was very good; the portion sizes were perfectly adequate, and the new items on the menu weren't bad either! My son had a calzone that he's still raving about. The food was also beautifully presented! The staff was incredibly friendly and absolutely great with children, and they kept checking that we had enough to drink and asking if we needed anything. So, I have no complaints. The only thing I missed was the pork schnitzel and the wide selection of schnitzel sauces, especially since you're actually going to a schnitzel paradise. Otherwise, I hope the new owners succeed in transforming the wonderful schnitzel paradise of the past into a great place to eat schnitzel in Göttingen!

Freshly renovated, Schnitzelparadies has reopened after a change of ownership. Spacious seating, comfortable benches and chairs, clean and spacious. Candlesticks and candles. Everything lovingly selected and arranged. The service is very friendly and fast, checking frequently to see if everything is alright. The prices are good, and so is the selection. The food was delicious and the portions generous. We especially enjoyed the salad with cheese and ham. The main course could have used a little less salt for my taste, but that's just a matter of personal preference. There's a stamp system; after 14 stamps, you get a €10 voucher. We'll be back!

A true schnitzel paradise. We ended up here by chance on our way to a concert. The food is incredibly delicious and the service is superb.

I went to Schnitzelparadies in Göttingen yesterday and I'm absolutely thrilled! The schnitzel was cooked to perfection – wonderfully crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and bursting with flavor. I was particularly impressed by the wide selection of different schnitzel variations and side dishes. You can tell that they cook with a lot of love. The service was also excellent: friendly, attentive, and always well-organized despite the restaurant being busy. The cozy atmosphere completes the experience – you immediately feel welcome. For anyone looking for a really good schnitzel in Göttingen: I highly recommend it! I'll definitely be back.

We ordered several schnitzels for takeout and were absolutely disappointed; we weren't used to such poor quality from the previous owners. Hawaiian schnitzel, cream schnitzel, and Berlin-style schnitzel.

The service was abysmal. Far too many staff, and yet we still had to wait over 1 hour and 45 minutes for our food! Furthermore, the ambiance is marred by poorly installed fake marble slabs. Not recommended.

WARNING! THIS IS NO LONGER SCHNITZEL PARADISE! What the hell happened? Please rename yourselves Schnitzel Graveyard! Bone-dry shoe soles, as thin as my insoles, garlic cloves in mushroom sauce? Buttered vegetables instead of salad and absolutely inedible, unseasoned, chip-like mini-sticks! Our food went straight in the trash today. It was inedible. I'd give it zero stars if I could. Never again! What a shame.

I've eaten my fair share of food in my life, but I've rarely experienced anything this bad. After the change of ownership, the place was completely renovated and looks quite decent. But that's where the positives end. The good name of Schnitzel Paradies was simply adopted and has been completely discredited ever since. We waited over two hours for our food. The staff didn't understand their job. If you hadn't gone to the counter yourself, you would have simply withered away at your table. No one asked if we needed anything, no one took our drink order, nothing at all. We could communicate, but it's frustrating when no one speaks proper German. It just doesn't feel professional. I'd expect that kind of service in a shisha bar, but not in a restaurant, and certainly not from Schnitzel Paradies as I know it. I'm sure the racism accusations will come up again, but the fact is: when no one speaks proper German, communication suffers, and the entire impression of the place is ruined. The menu was a joke. Grammatical errors galore, mislabeled containers—the bottle seriously said "oil" and "vinegar." In a modern year like 2025, something like this simply shouldn't happen. Even if I were the most dyslexic person, I could look up how to spell a word correctly online. You just can't do that. You really have to wonder what's going on. And then the best part: It calls itself Schnitzel Paradise, but there are hardly any schnitzels on the menu anymore. Maybe ten different kinds, where there used to be around forty. Instead, there are now pizzas and pastas on the menu, which, according to the neighboring tables, weren't any good either. While we were waiting, three other tables simply left, apparently because they had to wait even longer than we did. The staff didn't care. The main thing was being able to go outside for a smoke. During my four smoke breaks, at least half the staff were outside puffing away each time. There was a TV in the restaurant showing a virtual fireplace, presumably to create some ambiance. At some point, the TV simply switched off because no one had managed to press a button on the remote. It had nothing to do with the food, but it was funny. The other guests around us were clearly making fun of it, but even that seemed to be too much of a challenge for the staff. Then the food arrived. Out of eight plates, only two were actually finished. Some of it was wrong, some of it inedible. Seven schnitzels were turkey, one looked suspiciously like pork. When we asked, however, we were told they only had turkey. Right. They don't even mention beforehand that only one type of meat is offered. You're just left to your own devices to find out what ends up on your plate. The portions seemed completely random. While some pieces looked like 300-gram planks, others were so small they were barely enough for a tooth. Three bites and it was gone—if it had even tasted good. The starter salad was a cheap, pre-packaged mix from a bag, without any dressing. We had to ask for it. Everything was served on plastic plates. No joke. The fries and fried potatoes were from the cheapest discount store, carelessly thrown into the fryer. The fried potatoes were burnt, and there was no ham or onions at all. This place is only living off its old name. The quality is nonexistent, the service is non-existent, and the atmosphere is utter chaos. When we complained, we just got a shrug. When we asked for a discount, they told us we weren't at a bazaar. Outrageous! In short: Never again. This place is a disgrace to what Schnitzel Paradise once was. The way things are going now, it won't last four weeks.

Disaster. Some people left after waiting two hours without eating. The food was too salty. The salad had no dressing. The fried potatoes were from a bag. Never again. How wonderful it was before the renovation with the previous owners.

Unfortunately, it's become very bad. The new owner is extremely unfriendly. We left after over two hours without having received our food. A round of drinks was promised as compensation for the long wait, but even that never came. The menu is poorly described; there's no pork, and it doesn't even mention that only chicken or turkey is available. One star only because zero isn't an option!

We were looking forward to a nice evening with friends. Unfortunately, that didn't really work out. We had to wait almost two hours for our food, and then some of it was the wrong food or inedible. It was a real shame. The €55 was a complete waste of money.

The restaurant has a new owner. He currently doesn't have access to this page. He calls himself "Schnitzel Paradise" and offers what feels like six different types of schnitzel. The renovations were done by the owner himself, and everything is crooked and poorly cut. There's no pork on the menu, and this isn't indicated anywhere. The owner and staff are Muslim. That's all well and good, but they don't advertise this fact. I've never left a restaurant in my life so angry... There were four of us. We waited two hours for our food until we finally lost it. Twice we were told it would be ready in 10 minutes... After waiting two hours without food and absolutely furious, we left. Other tables followed... Their explanation: one cook and a full restaurant. There were five tables occupied... If you don't know anything about the restaurant business, you shouldn't be in it. Never again... It's a shame the old owners are gone.

Very tasty and friendly service always happy

After two months of renovations, this is the only nice thing about it. The food is too greasy and salty. The salad comes from a bag. And to top it all off, the food is served on plastic plates. I expect better from the old Schnitzelparadies. We'll never set foot in this place again.

The ambience is definitely not something you can look at - it's just a tennis club, but the service is very friendly, extremely attentive and friendly, and the food is top-notch - don't always go by appearances, this is an experience worth having.

We used to eat schnitzel here quite often. But these days, the quality isn't the same. Frozen goods everywhere. Breading and "meat" had the same consistency (mushy). Everything freezes, and it's not inviting. In the end, you have to decide for yourself whether you want the food. I wouldn't recommend it anymore, even if I were paid to. Not so culinary greetings.

Very beautiful place, a bit of nature in the urban surroundings of Göttingen. Whether it was because I ordered for pickup or not, I don't really want to consider right now, because: 1. The schnitzel was too thick. The taste was no different from a frozen product. For me, as a Viennese chef who knows how schnitzel is prepared – regardless of its shape and color – this was unfortunately a huge disappointment on a professional level. The schnitzel was dripping in fat, yes, it was unfortunately bathed in it. I can't judge for sure, but the breading was too fine to be considered a fresh product. At least, that's definitely how it tastes. The fried potatoes were unfortunately anything but good. They weren't prepared correctly, at too low a temperature, so they soaked up the fat. Accordingly, I'm giving it 3 stars, even though my schnitzel plate really wasn't good, but the people there were very warm and friendly. Maybe I'll try again and see if the quality is better.

Definitely! The schnitzel meal with three people was great! The regular portion was sufficient! Delicious, the fries were nice and crispy, and the homemade fried potatoes were delicious with nice onions and bacon! The atmosphere has the charm of a sports club! We'll definitely be back.

It's an atmosphere similar to a pub, the food always tastes great and is very filling, and the value for money is absolutely amazing. The chef knows his craft. The schnitzels are always freshly prepared and the service is great and very friendly. I can only recommend it.

According to Lieferando, order acceptance or opening times are until 9 p.m., orders at 8:41 p.m. are then simply canceled at 9 p.m. if you can no longer make it.

Unfortunately, the restaurant is not a schnitzel paradise for me. Yes, there are many different types of schnitzel, but the quality is not admirable. I had the tomato-mozzarella schnitzel with pesto. The mozzarella just tasted disgusting (musty and old). The service is totally intrusive. Unfortunately the price-performance ratio doesn't fit at all. I could have invested the 20 euros for the schnitzel better elsewhere. Positive: The chef introduced himself and asked about the food.

The food was quite good. Unfortunately one of my schnitzels was no longer good. Nothing came except “the meat is fresh”. Unfortunately it doesn't help me. What didn't work was the smell in the restaurant. Our clothes then had to go into the laundry and we had to take a shower. The extractor hood should already be on.

Unfortunately, we were very dissatisfied with the food and especially with the cleanliness. The floor was stuck and the kitchen was dirty as far as you could see. It smelled like old fat and the schnitzels were frozen! Never again!

We have been to Schnitzelparadies several times. The food is absolutely amazing. Always super tasty. A 12 out of 10. The service lady and the chef are great. We feel comfortable, especially because it is not so modernly furnished. You feel like you used to in the restaurants.

I used to always eat there, then today I ordered a turkey schnitzel with fiery hollondaise and I wanted extra sauce. I got a normal hollondaise schnitzel with 2 dollops of sauce for €26, which was the last time I ordered there

We ate there for the first time today based on recommendations from friends - I can only say that they are completely accurate. The schnitzels were super soft and very pleasant to eat. Breading fried to a nice golden brown and not too greasy. The fries are super crispy. There was hollandaise sauce adapted to the portion. Service is great. People also ask when eating whether everything is okay. Also very child friendly. The ambience is okay. It's just a clubhouse with appropriate facilities. Small criticism: No warm water in the toilet to wash your hands.

Wir sind sprachlos .... das essen ist mehr als miserabel... die schnitzel wie man diese kannte war einmal. Die Panade so hart das man einen erschlagen kann. Die schnitzel sind einfach ungenießbar! Und dann kommt noch hinzu TK schnitzel 🤮. Das alles für diesen Preis nein danke werde mein essen lieber anders wo kaufen in Zukunft. Die Bedienung verstrahlt der Laden runtergekommen!

Not recommended. Frozen schnitzels that were hard, the breading couldn't be cut, it was simply inedible! Quality as it once was no longer exists! You don't have to write more to understand that going there is no longer worth it!

The service was very nice, the furnishings were old-fashioned, dark, uncomfortable, the salt and pepper shakers were sticky. After the visit, our clothes smelled so much of old chip fat that we couldn't go anywhere else... The taste was okay, but for €18.50 2 small schnitzels and not even a handful of fries is crazy. Unfortunately disappointing.

A very, very tasty meal. Since we are currently on vacation here in Göttingen. I can recommend everyone to eat there. The conditions are extremely friendly and the food is very crispy. I had number 10 and my husband had number 15..Everything was tasty, even the beer...Keep it up...Thank you.

We were very disappointed with poor quality of food. The Viennese style schnitzel was dry and not even lukewarm, the chicken nuggets were breaded with lukewarm, mashed molded meat, the children couldn't eat it, the Hawaiian toast was 2 cold slices of white bread (not toasted) and baked soggy. Restaurant prices are asked for cold, sticky food. Only the fries were good. The service was friendly. When I read all the other good reviews I don't know what went wrong that day. We won't try it anymore either. A schnitzel paradise looks different to me.

You could probably say “quaint restaurant”. The ambience is getting old, but the terrace and the beer garden, i.e. outside, are a great place to sit. Sometimes you can even watch football training or games if you're interested. The food is okay, although the portions are a bit smaller than “before”. Nevertheless: Schnitzel and fries are always top! Turkey, pork, veggie or currywurst - there is something to suit every taste. My tip to the boss: fried potatoes should always be there and if not, you could say so straight away. Works better than simply serving with fries 😉 The negative reviews are welcome for everyone, there is freedom of expression here. Nevertheless, you can just try it a second time and simply "say" your criticism - the food is definitely worth it and so far we have little to no complaints about the service.

Prices increased significantly, portions 1/3 smaller, I have to say quite expensive for a lot less but at least it tasted good. Very little going on for Sunday, I think the predecessor set the standard very high despite the spartan ambience. Unfortunately, the Aperol spritz tasted stale. I don't think we'll be back that quickly... it's a shame 😞

Vom Schnitzelparadies zu Uwe's Zeiten ist die Gaststätte leider Lichtjahre entfernt. Die Soße auf dem Pfefferschnitzel war eine undefinierbare dunkle Pampe und die Bratkartoffeln nicht wirklich gar. Das Teufelsschnitzel war ok bis auf die Pommes. Wir hatten aber wohl noch Glück - beim Pärchen am Nebentisch ging ein Essen zurück - war kalt. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis stimmt ebenfalls nicht. Die Inhaberin war zwar freundlich und bemüht. Aber Mühe allein genügt halt nicht. Wir kommen zum Essen jedenfalls nicht wieder. Schade...

Large selection of tasty schnitzel dishes. We have enjoyed coming here for many years. EDIT (March 2024): We haven't been here for a few months and there was probably a change of operator quite some time ago. In my opinion, the dishes are still very good. The fact that the menu has become a little smaller shouldn't be particularly noticeable given the large number of dishes. Unfortunately I have to deduct a star from the service because we were charged twice for the drinks. Unfortunately I only noticed it when I got home. But we'd still like to come back and then we'll be more careful. Otherwise, the Schnitzelparadies is still worth recommending to us.

There was the Holsteiner Schnitzel with fried potatoes and the Hawaiian Schnitzel with fries. We couldn't complain about the food. I can understand some of the bad criticism. After the change of operator, we were there before and it wasn't that great. But everyone deserves a second chance. And today the fried potatoes were good like before and we couldn't fault anything else. Nice service.

The food was tasty but unfortunately a bit cold. I found it bizarre that the salad plate was returned to both the left and right of us because the salad was no longer edible. However, the words of the otherwise very nice waitress make me suspicious. When the guests commented, she said: “I dropped it earlier, I'm sorry”. For hygiene reasons alone, something like this should no longer be given out to customers. I had nothing to complain about my meal, large portion, fair price. Just a little cold, but manageable!

Food was really underground... Lettuce was brown and both of them had to be returned. The Greek salad fully smeared with iwas... I'm Greek and the salad was beyond subpar... Yesterday we ate at SZÜLZENBUERGER FOR 40 EURO... A dream of schnitzel and ambience... Really tasty... Today we ate here for just under €60 and had half the food returned and we feel totally uncomfortable..!!!! And now we're going to eat properly... The ambience, the food was really bad, I'm sorry...👎🏾👎🏾👎🏾👎🏾 I had the pepper schnitzel, I have never seen such a sauce in my life... And I eat schnitzel every weekend... My wife's mushroom cream schnitzel was, well, bad... We definitely won't be coming back...

The food came quickly, but unfortunately it was lukewarm overall. We had 2 broccoli schnitzels, both of which were cold, the broccoli was hard, the fried potatoes were lukewarm. The fries and croquettes were good, but the cream schnitzel was only lukewarm. Some of the drinks were stale. We were there for the last time. Unfortunately, the quality of its predecessor is no longer present.

Ambiance looks like it's from the late 70s. Maybe then the tables would be wiped down for the last time? We got a place quickly. Even though there was hardly anything going on, the waitress seemed annoyed and stressed. After 20 minutes we weren't offered anything to drink, let alone take our order, we left again. Overall, an uninviting establishment.

The toilet facilities weren't that clean. We had to wait almost an hour to eat. Then the food was lukewarm. Not seasoned...it didn't taste like anything...sorry but that's how it was. It cannot be compared with the early schnitzel paradise.

To be honest, I was very disappointed with the food. The schnitzel was not seasoned and fried too limply, the fries were not enough in the deep fryer, they were still half raw and there was no salt on the fries. The braised onions were very roughly cut and felt like the onion was only quartered. It's a shame, I always enjoyed eating there in the past and since the new ones are available I can unfortunately no longer recommend the Schnitzelparasies.

Potato wedges very brown and dry, sauce partly tasteless, the colleague had to spit out some of the meat. Will not be visited again for a while.

Riesen Speisekarte/ Schnitzelkarte (Name des Restaurants ist Ansage), große Portionen. Inneneinrichtung ist ein wenig veraltet, aber Portion und Preis der Speisen sehr gut!! Macht weiter so!

Update zu 21.11.2023 Rezension überarbeitet und Anmerkungen zugefügt! Nach Besitzer Wechsel wieder Besuch und zufrieden gewesen. Liest weiter! Zum Essen Man hat am Schnitzel gemerkt das es KEIN Tiefkühlfleisch ist und auch das es super gewürzt wurde. Salz und Pfeffer war genauso dran wie ich es geliebt habe. Die Panade war sehr lecker und sah sehr gut aus. Geschmacklich richtig gut 😋 Hatte das Schnitzel,, Balkanart 1kg ( XXL),, man hat wirklich das an 😍😍 Masse 😍😍 bekommen!! Wenn man eine Waage gehabt hätte 💕 jam jam Die Schnitzel wurden nicht kaputt gehauen, sondern in Scheiben paniert und serviert. Die Zubereitung kann und ist auch üblich. Die Gastronomie plättet das Schnitzel auch um das Schnitzel größer zu bekommen um es dann als XXL zu verkaufen. ( Bei weniger Gewicht, wie beim Vorgänger) Hier nicht 👍🏻 Zur Soße, da hat man aber gemerkt das es zwar selbstgemachte wurde, leider keine frischen Zutaten. Die Zwiebelsosse sah beim Nachbarn noch besser aus😘... Wie auch die Championsrahmsosse bei seiner Frau. 🤩 . Beilage Dazu gab es Pommes. Und das nächste mal 🕺bekomme ich auch die selbstgemachten Bratkartoffeln 💕 freu mich drauf 🌹 Der Punkt Anzug gab es einzig und allein wegen der Toilette. Dies lag daran, dass die Toiletten gemeinsam mit dem Fussballvereinen⚽ genutzt werden und diese öffentlich, für die Spieler zugänglich sind. VERSTÄNDLICH! Obwohl heute geschlossen sein sollte war geöffnet und das fand ich super. Vorher gäbe es am Mittag das Spiel zu sehen. Veranstaltung Hier werden auch Veranstaltungen angeboten und Räumlichkeiten zur Verfügung gestellt. Eine super Gelegenheit auch hier seinen Geburtstag zu feiern. Aber man sollte seinen persönlichen Krieg nicht hier drüber ausfechten sondern da lassen wo er hingehört. In der Realität. 👍🏻 Und steht es jeden frei, wenn es einem nicht geschmeckt hat, nicht wieder hinzugehen. Als dann so zu tun als würde man jemanden eine zweite Chance geben. Anmerkung : Wenn es eine gewesen wäre, würde die erste Rezension nicht hier drin stehen sondern hätte direkt mit dem Personal, Besitzer geklärt.

Wir waren gestern dort essen und das Schnitzel hat hervorragend geschmeckt immer wieder gern. Die Service Mitarbeiterin war sehr freundlich..

Die Bedienung war sehr nett und freundlich. Das Ambiente… es gab vorher eine Weihnachtsfeier, man hat nicht geschafft vorher sauber zu machen. Und leider war mein Schnitzel, ich hatte Schnitzel Brokkoli mit hollandaise kalt. Und meine Rösti heiß. 🤷‍♀️

Großartige Schnitzel, symphatische Bedienung, in einem lockeren Stil, jedoch immernoch kwasii ein clubhaus aufgrund der naheliegenden Fußballfelder.

Sehr freundlicher Familienbetrieb, megalecker Essen, schnell zubereitet, so wie es sein soll. Werden das nächste Mal dort wieder Station machen.

Ich liebe es. Hier kann man die besten Schnitzel essen. Super netter Service. Ich komme immer gerne wieder. Preise sind absolut ok.
