Edelbeißer in Göttingen

We've been there quite often, both in summer and winter. In the summer, the outdoor seating is nice. But it's gone downhill significantly. If you order a Spezi (a popular German soft drink), you get a Coke mixed with Sprite, and the Fanta tastes like water. That shouldn't happen. As a customer, it feels like the staff don't want to work. About two months ago, we ordered food within Göttingen, waited an hour, and the food arrived cold. Which is a real shame. On top of that, the gyro meat was very gristly. It's truly a shame that it's deteriorated so much.

The quick box with noodles and spicy chicken (product value €3.00) for €7.50 is simply a rip-off and unfortunately not recommended.

Permanently closed, already for several months.

This was my first time eating at Dean and David. The food was okay, but for over €10, you expect more. I'd compare it to a pre-made salad from a discount supermarket with some smoked salmon thrown on top. You can get that at a discount supermarket for over €5, but here it costs almost €15. The value for money is truly abysmal. Taste-wise, it was okay, but nothing to rave about, and the salad already had some brown spots. When I compare this salad to the one from my favorite Italian restaurant, not only is the portion much larger and the quality better, but the price is also slightly lower. Unfortunately, I see no reason to come back. The staff were friendly and attentive, no complaints there. The criticism is mainly directed at the concept and the pricing/quality.
