I ate at the Schnitzelschmiede today and overall I was very satisfied. The food was excellent and the atmosphere was inviting. The service, on the other hand, still has room for improvement. It was particularly unfortunate that the wishes of my pregnant companion were not taken into account: a smaller portion was not possible, and the order for a children's portion with the desired side dish was also rudely rejected. Despite these limitations, it was a nice evening overall, but there is definitely room for improvement.

The schnitzel was good and tasty. I ate the schnitzel XXXL. It was served with some vegetables for decoration. A good beer with it. I thought the price was quite steep, €38

We went for lunch today. Service was a disaster. Unfortunately, we were served the wrong beer in the wrong glass. Very long waiting times for food and drinks. When it came to the side dish of fried potatoes, several guests asked whether they had caraway seeds, which the waitress replied in the negative. When the food came it smelled like caraway and when I tried it it didn't get any better. We asked the service person about it again, but unfortunately he ignored it and didn't offer any other side dish. The schnitzels had different breadings and were dry, as many were probably kept warm for too long. Please make a smaller card. This could increase the quality. So that the staff is not completely overwhelmed.

The ambience hasn't changed much from the previous schnitzel paradise. Schnitzel was ok. However, I think 22 euros for a schnitzel is a bit excessive for Zwickau..

Visited this restaurant again after years with a changed name! The door to the restaurant opened and there was a strong smell of food! This smell remained in the guest room all evening. Sure, no door between the kitchen and the dining room. The young waiter was a bit overwhelmed when ordering the food! I looked around and realized that nothing has changed after all these years! There were some loose clinker bricks hanging on the wall and I think even the interior design is still the same. The food was plentiful and not bad. The service was a bit inattentive! Empty glasses and the menu cards remained on the table the entire time. Ultimately, because of the smell of the food, you have to wash your clothes the next day! Very annoying! Not a recommendation for me!

Now it's the Schnitzelschmiede... I've eaten here three times since the renovation and I can say the food is good and tasty. Unfortunately, the outside seating is a bit unpleasant in terms of ambience and a cushion would also be nice. It just doesn't really invite you to walk past. The service is attentive but a smile and more neat clothing would be desirable. Private clothing really doesn't look particularly inviting. There's still something going on... all the best

We had dinner today, Wednesday at 5 p.m. Our child wanted to eat pasta, but after 2 days of rest we were told "unfortunately pasta is out". When I asked why, the answer was that they had forgotten to buy pasta. Um yes, difficult thing.... (I would have sent an employee out to get something else....) We had two different schnitzels, one tasted good, the other was unfortunately much too over-spiced, the sauce was very greasy (schnitzel "Thuringian style" with onions and supposedly black beer) unfortunately it was really a letdown. Prices are high everywhere now, but for a schnitzel with a side dish over €20 is already steep. What I also have to complain about is that we ordered ketchup with the children's schnitzel. This had to be paid extra. In a children's court this should be free. Drinks are also extremely expensive. The staff, yes, no trained staff, which isn't a bad thing, everyone deserves a chance. But what's really not possible is that private conversations at an inappropriate volume shouldn't take place behind the bar where the guests can hear it... Conclusion: we can't recommend it and we won't be coming back. When I read the reviews and the reactions from the restaurant, you should be able to handle criticism and accept it 😉 Oh well, on a positive note, there was something for the child to paint 😊

The design of the restaurant has hardly changed from its predecessor. It is not a restaurant where you can spend a few nice hours with friends or guests. The noise in the room is more like a crowded canteen, you can't understand your own words. The schnitzel in different variations was okay. The vegetables were overcooked and no longer had any color, more of a uniform gray. You couldn't eat it with any appetite. Not recommended for €22 including a side dish.

Not recommended!! Eat lukewarm, vegetables overcooked, fried potatoes instant! It has nothing to do with eating out deliciously!! Staff with cell phones sitting at the table bored and waiting for the end of the day!! Keep your hands off it!!

Seldom eaten so badly. No comparison to its predecessor. The vegetables were bland and overcooked, the fried potatoes were anything but fresh, and the schnitzel, well. If it's warmed up, then do it right - everything was lukewarm. Service staff bored, sitting at a table with their cell phone and waiting for the end of the day. Disappointing!

Hello to all schnitzel friends, I ate here with my family on August 30, 2024 and I have to say it's simply delicious, the service is friendly and always tries hard. Children's friendliness is very important. We will eat there again. The new operator does everything right. Thumbs up and up see you soon

We were there on September 31st, had ordered a table for 7 p.m. and stood around until we got a table. Then we waited forever for drinks and we had to wait a whole 2 hours for food. Then someone came because the fries were empty, which wasn't allowed to happen at the weekend We left hungry, we will never visit this restaurant again, nothing was said on the phone that it was very busy, and if the goods were ordered well, it couldn't happen. We went to the Greek restaurant and the wait was less than 5 minutes, we didn't have drinks for 15 minutes The food and the service were first class and very good 👍

Definitely recommended! High quality meat and enough side dishes (salad and fried potatoes); the amount is absolutely sufficient to be more than full. But not too much that you have to leave half of it behind. The staff is also very attentive and friendly, and above all quick. Many thanks to the Swabian employee for the very interesting star conversation. We felt completely comfortable.

I have to say it is highly recommended. The food was fresh and tasty. The waitress was probably new and a little unsure, but was keen on the job. We'd love to come back. Keep it up.

When the weather is nice, it's nice to sit in the beer garden. The service was friendly and made an effort, but you can tell that they are not professionals - which is not a problem for me. Almost all of the drinks were way too warm. There were five lonely little pieces of crushed ice floating in the Aperol (€7.50). When I asked, I was given a glass of ice to cool down the Aperol afterwards. The menu is far too extensive for my taste, with sometimes absurd schnitzel variations. In my opinion, less would be more here. I chose the Wiener Schnitzel. Unfortunately, the side dishes are not included, which should be the case given the prices. To charge €3.50 for convenience croquettes (5 pieces) or a portion of frozen fries is completely incomprehensible to me. Unfortunately there are no cooked potatoes such as parsley potatoes and no classic homemade potato salad as would traditionally go with veal schnitzel. I therefore decided on a baked potato, which cost €4.50. The portion size of my meal was fine. Unfortunately the sauce was already cold. The small side salad portions were fresh and tasty. Overall it was okay but unfortunately the price-performance ratio wasn't right for me.

We ate out for the first time since reopening on August 1st, 2024. We cannot understand the negative reviews. Everything is freshly prepared, deliciously presented and generous portions. The service was quick and friendly. I had to laugh heartily 😂 at the prices of the children's menu. These are given in cents and my daughter was shocked at first because she thought her schnitzel cost 850 euros 😂😂. So if you don't expect a 5 star restaurant and just want crispy fried schnitzels, you've come to the right place 👍. We'll definitely be back.

The schnitzels are good, the fish was good too. The ambience can be described as functional.

With the exception of my 2 year old granddaughter, we sat comfortably outside. Even when she asked, there was no high chair available for her. Nowadays almost every kebab shop has... The food was good and the portions were OK too. I think everyone will find something to their taste on the menu. We also received napkins upon request. However, we were back at the kebab shop... I don't ask for a cloth napkin, but it can be a sensible paper napkin. Not this "paper" that is served at the gas station with the bockwurst or kebab. I would like the operators to work on the “little things” I mentioned. Maybe the Becherovka will be available again...

The three of us went out for dinner yesterday and had pre-ordered. Everything was still free. An older couple sat alone at a 5-person table, the three of us sat at a small table for 3 people by the window. With table decorations, drinks, starters it's relatively tight and the plates for lunch are relatively large. The food was very tasty - everything was fresh - the portions were very large in places, so that the mushrooms were cold at the end, just like the sweet potato fries, and then it didn't taste good anymore. The prices have gone up a bit, you have to order a side dish. Conclusion: It was very tasty, the service was friendly, drinks came very quickly and the food didn't take that long (less than half an hour). Rating 1 star incomprehensible.

Food tastes very good, portions are very different. I can recommend rice and fries as a side dish, not croquettes as 5 pieces weren't enough for me for the price. It's a friendly service where real effort is made. On the day we were there they still needed a service person. Drinks take a long time to arrive, which is really inconvenient in extreme heat. It is very positive to mention that children are really welcome. Ours were given a book to look at right at the beginning. Access is via some stairs, toilets are also accessible via stairs.

Food didn't taste good, had the schnitzel Felix... schnitzel from the freezer with breading like lead and the crowning glory on the meat was a mass without taste and fried champions with which you can smash windows or play marbles. Oh, and the fries for €3 that you have to pay extra for were also frozen and completely floury and tasteless. So a good €23 was spent for nothing. Thanks, but you should leave it alone if you have no idea about gastronomy, which is also evident in the service staff, who walked around the restaurant haphazardly. If you want to eat good and tasty food, you should avoid this restaurant.

So we had dinner yesterday, I ordered turkey schnitzel according to the menu and got pizza schnitzel. My friend had Saxony-Anhalt bacon schnitzel with fried potatoes, unfortunately they were still raw and they even forgot to charge for a cola and the remaining money wasn't enough for that either. The service is a disaster and even if you are the boss there, you should have a certain politeness and friendliness towards your guests and also know the menu by heart. The prices are too arrogant! I save myself having to bother with the receipt. We are more than disappointed and the Schnitzelstube is no longer what it used to be!

Now under the name “Schnitzelschmiede”. Not a cozy atmosphere. Schnitzel swims in sauce. I personally don't think it's good.

Greek schnitzel was specified with feta, onions and garlic but the last two were not included at all. The staff was very overwhelmed but also had respect for the stress. Nevertheless, you can tell that they are being exploited (Ukrainian and Czech personnel). By the way, I've never had banana split like this before. That was grade 6. We definitely won't be coming back that quickly. Food took a very long time. It was really a failure

Had the schnitzel and salad delivered and was ripped off straight away, a total of €30 never again, it didn't taste good either...

Well... We ordered the food. When it comes to taste, everything was fine. We had 3x position 345 and once 320. We were informed on the phone that number 320 would cost EUR 22.50 instead of EUR 15.50 because the asparagus was fresh. According to the website, position 345 costs EUR 15.50. I have no idea which school the driver learned math at, or whether he even attended school... but he asked us for 79 EUR. We didn't receive an invoice for this either...

We went there for dinner a few days ago. What we had there didn't resemble the old schnitzel paradise at all. We often ate there and everything was great👍 But now🙈 It defies description of what we were offered for around €16.00 each. Consumption of goods maximum €2.50. Firstly, snack quality, and it tastes even better. Schnitzel from the deep fryer, which doesn't have to be bad, but it wasn't even that. A master brewer in an egg shell, we haven't had that yet either. Cheese, ham and maybe whatever else some people like goes in there. Really tastes completely wrong. Ambiance totally outdated, there is no feel-good effect, more like a train station hall, Service so-so. But if the boss is asked, if the younger man was the boss, then he still has a lot to learn. Came across as very annoyed, maybe it was the cook, and something like that, if you don't like it, then eat something different. For us, not again, we'd rather go to the chip shop. It's a shame about the old schnitzel paradise, we enjoyed being there and were always satisfied. If he keeps cooking like that, he won't have a long life.

No card payment possible these days? You only find out when you stand in front of the door. Had to go to the ATM first.

I've never waited as long for a meal as I did here. Service non-existent. It's a shame, it was very different a year ago. Maybe no more motivation given the closure.

Reserved the table a day in advance, arrived on time and then waited 2 hours. The waiter gets rude answers after asking where the food is. We then canceled our order and suddenly the food was ready. There were guests next to us who waited longer than us and then canceled their orders. In the end we only paid for drinks with an alleged value of €37. Unfriendly staff. Not open to criticism. Bad German (it's a SCHNITZEL PARADISE!) Not recommended!! Are now in Corfu - drink there after 5 minutes and order food (store full)

We have been here many times and it has always been delicious. The portions are very large and the staff is friendly.

Out of curiosity (because a colleague always eats here when his friend is there) I looked at the homepage and read this: "In our schnitzel paradise we only use fresh pork salmon. The schnitzels are freshly cut and breaded." And then I looked at the photos that were posted here and seriously? This looks fresher in every snack bar and at prices of 12 - 14 €, taking everything from the frozen food is an absolute disgrace! I'm going to a restaurant to eat something special and not frozen food that I can make at home and that's much cheaper and doesn't drown in oil! But you have your regular customers who apparently no longer have any taste buds. Addendum: I just saw a photo here that really made me laugh. Schnitzel with cheese gratinated on spaghetti with tomato sauce. Is this from the children's menu or for the really brave/crazy? How is that supposed to taste and what is that supposed to mean? The breading becomes soft and mushy very quickly! You'd have to have a strange taste to find it delicious. Addendum December 29, 2021: I just looked at the photos of the dishes with my brother (a trained chef) and he said that what you see there is all trash, almost everything from the freezer or ready-made, unappetizing and sometimes horribly disgusting because it has been burned or in the cheapest Ready-made/powder sauce drowned! Das Schnitzelparadies ist ein bodenständiges Lokal meiner Meinung nach. Das Essen schmeckt und passt im Preis/Leistungs Verhältnis. Das Personal ist freundlich jedoch sollte man Zeit mitbringen, da Essen und Getränke etwas dauern. Die Einrichtung ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Wichtig: Nur Barzahlung möglich, darauf muss man vorbereitet sein.

Prima Essen, super Ambiente und sehr nettes Personal. Wir werden wieder kommen ❤️

Waren etwas spontan dort. Zum Freitagabend sogar einen Tisch, ohne Reservierung bekommen. Freundliches Personal, angenehmes Ambiente. Portionen ok und preislich angemessen, hab frisch paniertes Schnitzel erwartet, aber nur Fritteuse.

Haben erstmal nur für einen Weihnachtsfeiertag einen Tisch reserviert. Das hat prima funktioniert

Man musste relativ lange warten bis das Essen da war, obwohl wir fast die einzigen waren. Dann war das Gemüse kalt gewesen. Ob alles frisch zubereitet wird, bezweifle ich. Das Ambiente ist sehr schön aber der Service und das Essen ließ zu wünschen übrig.

Eine riesige Schnitzel Auswahl. Es gibt aber auch Nudelgerichte. Ich hatte Schnitzel mit Spargel und Rösti. Es hat ganz toll geschmeckt. Der Spargel hat mich überrascht, denn er war wie frischer Spargel.

Die Auswahl ist riesig und alle Essen waren sehr lecker (2× Kinderschnitzel, 1x mit Spargel, 1x Farmerschnitzel, 1x Schnitzel Prinzessin). Die Portionen sind groß. Der Service war sehr freundlich, auf Extrawünsche wurde ohne Probleme eingegangen. Das einzige Manko, wenn man denn eins finden will, ist, dass er teils sehr laut ist. Das störte uns aber wenig! Wenn wir nochmal in Zwickau sind, kommen wir auf jeden Fall wieder!!!

War nach sehr langer Zeit wieder mal da. Hat sich aber nicht gerade verbessert. Wacklige Tische, unbequeme Stühle und alles Engstehend. Das Essen war soweit ok. Nur der Nachttisch bekommt eine 0. Lidl-Eis, davon 3 Kugeln und das für 4 Euro! Im Großen und Ganzen, leider nicht empfehlenswert.

Wir hatten 4 verschiedene Schnitzel und waren damit sehr zufrieden. Das Essen und Trinken wurden schnell geliefert. Preis-Leistung war gut.

Mein Freund und ich essen seit letztem Jahr regelmäßig hier, sodass es mittlerweile immer fest eingeplant ist, wenn ich ihn besuche. Das Essen ist für uns Schnitzelliebhaber natürlich genau das richtige. Die ohnehin kurze Wartezeit wird durch das schöne Ambiente - im Sommer vor allem draußen - verschönert. Das gesamte Personal ist immer freundlich und hilfsbereit. Als mein Freund sich die Hand gebrochen hat, wurde direkt von einem Mitarbeiter angeboten, das Schnitzel für ihn zu schneiden. Das Essen ist top, die Preise sind fair und die Qualität immer ganz oben.

Hatten Essen liefern lassen, das es nicht mehr ganz heiß ankommt war mir klar. Optisch sah es schon nicht besonders aus, lieblos angerichtet. Ich hatte eine Senioren Portion bestellt, ich muss sagen für 2€ weniger war ich sehr enttäuscht. Etwas Parmesan drüber gestreut und bisl im Ofen überbacken, und ein hauchdünnes Schnitzel, nichts wert. Geschmack nun ja, kann ich zu Hause auch. Ich empfehle das Restaurant nicht weiter.

Leider keine gute veggie Auswahl. Ich verstehe als Vegetarier ins Schnitzelhaus zu gehen ist etwas witzig, aber man kann mittlerweile aus so viel Gemüse Schnitzel machen, da muss man nicht nur TK Ware in die Fritteuse werfen.

Fangen wir Mal an... Lokal war nichtmal zur Hälfte ausgelastet. Ambiente eher naja, Personal ausbaufähig.OK, dann sollte ja alles zügig gehen. Getränke bestellt, ca 20 Minuten darauf gewartet. Bier vom Fass!! ohne Kohlensäure 🤔 Essen bestellt, Dauer 45 Minuten, wohlgemerkt bei nichtmal halbe Auslastung . Speisen waren nicht der Dauer Qualitativ zubereitet. Bezahlen/ kassieren ging dafür sehr schnell. Fazit, probiert aber nicht für gut empfunden.

Also ich komme gerne aber seit Inhaber wecksel ist geht das nicht mehr Also essen naja lauwarm und die Beilagen ist nicht der brüller kaum was drauf auf dem Teller mann konnte nicht mal mit karte zahlen Stande nur an der Tür dran wurde nicht mal gesagt bevor mann was bestellt Katastrophe echt

Servicepersonal nett, versuchen den Überblick zu behalten. Ambiente gemütlich, allerdings etwas eng und überfüllt. Wartezeit auf das Essen zum Teil leider sehr lang. Essen war super lecker. Große Portionen, da wird jeder satt. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Hatten gestern Besuch und wollten, da ja mit Lieferservice geworben wird, für 5 Personen bestellen. Nach einer Stunde vergeblichen Anrufens haben wir dann aufgegeben. Endweder ist Keiner ans Telefon gegangen, nach einiger Zeit auf besetzt umgesprungen oder wurden gar weggedrückt (Telefonhörer kurz abgenommen und wieder aufgelegt). Haben dann beim Inder bestellt und waren dort sehr zu frieden.

Waren heute spontan hier essen, das war definitiv mein letzter Besuch im Schnitzelparadies. Das Essen war wie an einem Imbiss, ich weiß nicht was das auf meinem Teller war aber Spätzle auf keinen Fall. Hier stimmt Preise Leistung überhaupt nicht. Die Kellnerin konnte leider auch nicht mit unserer Kritik umgehen.

Terras aan de autoloze straat waar alleen af en toe een tram voorbij komt. Personeel vriendelijke. Kaart zeeeeer uitgebreid. Allemaal lekker gegeten. Friet had iets minder zout gemogen. Speciaal voor de Hollanders mayonaise in huis. Altijd fijn.

Wir waren schon einige mal als Paar oder in Familie dort essen. Wenn man den separaten Raum zuvor reserviert hat geht es von der Lautstärke und den Platzverhältnissen, im übrigen Gastraum ziemlich eng und hohe Geräuschkulisse. Die Auswahl ist super, jedoch an der Umsetzung hapert es. Die Beilagen sind alles Fertigprodukte, egal ob Brokkolie, Champignons usw. Die etwas ältere Bedienung ist sehr unfreundlich und hat anscheinlich keine Lust zu arbeiten. Alles in Allem, die Schnitzel schmecken, es ist aber nichts rausreißendes ;-)

Für alle die auf Schnitzel stehen. Eine wie es sich gehört große Auswahl an Schnitzelvarianten. Man sollte am Wochenende einen Tisch vorbestellen. Ich sage nur Schnitzel Go.

Wir waren mit Freunden dort essen, es war eine einzige Katastrophe! Die Kellnerin total überfordert, dass Essen eine Zumutung (okay, wer Fertiggerichte mag, ist dort gut aufgehoben), Soße die einem Pudding glich. Einfach nie wieder! Es gibt Gott sei dank noch andere Gute Gaststätten in der Gegend.

Bei einem Geschäftsessen waren wir zu Gast. Die Schnitzel waren in Ordnung, die Beilagen ließen zu wünschen übrig. Bei einem Beilagenwechsel von z.B. Bratkartoffeln auf Kroketten wurde ein Aufpreis verlangt. Leider war die Soße aus der Tüte. Wenn die Schnitzel auch aus Kalb- und Geflügelfleisch angeboten würden wäre ein Punkt mehr möglich gewesen. Anmerkung: Die Sitzkissen im Außenbereich bedürfen der dringenden Reinigung oder Erneuerung !!

Die Lokation ist sehr angenehm und auch die Bedienung sehr zuvorkommend. Allerdings hat es eher mittelmäßig geschmeckt- die Schnitzel waren nicht das, was man sich beim Namen 'Schnitzelparadies' vorstellt. Vorsuppe war zu bitter. Abzüge bei der Serviceleistung gibt es, da ich, als ich 'ein bisschen Soße' extra dazu bestellte, viel zu viel bekam und mir dafür ein Euro berechnet wurde, was ich schon frech finde.

Ein Traum für jeden Schnitzelfreund. Ca 20 verschiedene Arten von Schnitzel. Sehr feines Fleisch und sehr gut zubereitet. Aber auch Nudelgerichte und Salate in großer Auswahl.

The schnitzel here is outstanding and is served in any one of about 30 varieties. The location is right next to the Johannisbad - a beautiful indoor pool. Plan a swim and follow up with an outstanding meal at a reasonable price.

Reichliche Speisenauswahl, lecker, sehr reichliche Portionen - diesbezüglich kann man durchaus zufrieden sein. Aber eine halbe Stunde Wartezeit, bis mal die Karten gebracht werden, fast eine Stunde Warten auf die Getränke, und eine anderthalbe Stunde aufs Essen warten - sowas geht gar nicht, auch wenn die Gaststätte voll ist. Auch wenn man von der Bedienung auf diesen Hinweis gesagt bekommt, "Da bin ich gehandicapt, wenn alle Gäste auf einmal kommen", wurde sich dann doch um zufriedenstellende Bedienung bemüht. Das liegt m.E. auch nicht an den Servicekräften mit den beschriebenen langen Wartezeiten, sondern daran, dass wohl in Stoßzeiten einfach zu wenige davon da sind. Diese kommen dann einfach nicht mehr nach, wenn alle Tische besetzt sind. Im Großen und Ganzen kann man das Schnitzelparadies aber durchaus empfehlen.

Wir hatten mit Lieferservice bestellt,die Preise genau wie im Restaurant,das Essen lauwarm ,die Schnitzel matschig und mit irgendeiner zusammengematschten Masse gefüllt ,4 Kroketten kalt und matschig,dazu 3 Krümel Salat,nie wieder!!!

Positiv: -Bedienung war freundlich und aufmerksam -Auswahl riesengroß, mir persönlich schon zu viel -Essen war schnell und warm am Tisch -Ambiente war ok, eher altmodisch -Portion war groß, man wird auch ohne Vorspeise satt -Preis-Leistung Ok Allerding finde ich die Bezeichnung "Schnitzelparadies" fehl am Platz, qualitativ nicht besonderes und nicht mal ein richtiges Wiener Schnitzel im Angebot. Das geht bei Tk Kartoffelecken weiter die ziemlich nach Frittenfett geschmeckt haben und hört beim Schuss Fertigsoße auf. Schnitzelfleisch war OK und schön knusprig gebraten. Alles in allem nichts besonderes, wer wirklich gut Schnitzel essen gehen will, der geht lieber wo anders hin.
