Wir haben hier recht kurzfristig einen Tisch reserviert. Im Grunde hatten wir uns an ein Lokal erinnert, dass früher unter dieser Adresse firmierte. Da dieses zwischenzeitlich geschlossen war, testeten wir den Nachfolger. Wir erhielten den letzten noch freien Tisch im eher ungemütlichen Durchgangsbereich zum Kassenterminal im oberen Stock. Allerdings war hier die Geräuschkulisse wesentlich niedriger, sodass wir uns am Ende nicht beklagen konnten. Das Essen (Wiener Schnitzel bzw. die Rinderroulade mit Püree und grünen Bohnen) war top und reichhaltig - und kam recht flott. Mein Eindruck war, dass man hier zum Essen hinkommt und schnell wieder geht. Das Lokal war auch an einem Donnerstag um 20 Uhr bis auf den letzten Platz belegt. Aufgrund des Essens gebe ich hier gerne 4 Punkte.

I'm a nostalgic person...the "blood sausage pan" with air-dried blood sausage, a fried egg and greasy fried potatoes...I miss that. Now I had some really tasty tapas, the whistle was on the house (good idea), the beer was good...the best place in the neighborhood on a warm evening

Unfortunately it's no longer what it used to be. In Charlottenburg, the cordon bleu tasted like it was breaded with wallpaper paste and was lukewarm. After 20 seconds of microwave it wasn't any better, but the staff was friendly. On the other hand, the staff at the Rüdesheimer were disinterested and brash, you felt like you were in a Mitropa restaurant, even though several tables were free.

A nice restaurant on Rüdesheimer Platz. This used to be a beautiful place, unfortunately it has completely fallen into disrepair, a shame. The schnitzels in the restaurant are quite good, the breading is very loose on the otherwise good veal. Unfortunately everything was very lightly seasoned. The potato salad takes some getting used to. Overall the food goes like this. A matter of taste as always. The service is friendly. Dogs are allowed

Spontaneous reservation for 2 and we were welcomed by free small beers and bread on the side. Big portions of schnitzel for the price and really delicious. Must try if you want to have a good meal and good time 😄

Every single member of staff was very friendly, they were helpful giving recommendations, and I am glad i listened to their recommendation. The food arrived and I was blown away. I had a Schnitzel (veal) and it wasn’t the slab of meat in breadcrumbs you often get served. It was perfectly thin as it should be. The recommended potato salad was a fantastic choice. Solo eaters get treated like a group. Fantastic experience

The schnitzel is simply great! Every time we eat there we are amazed by the first-class service and the consistently high standard of the food. No matter whether it is the classic schnitzel or one of the creative variations - the food is always of the highest quality and tastes excellent. Food poisoning – the restaurant takes no responsibility and dismisses the situation with an unbelievable statement. On July 20, 2024, my companion and I went to this restaurant for dinner and shared the Wiener Schnitzel and the Caesar salad. Unfortunately, just a few hours later, we were both surprised by the unpleasant consequences: food poisoning - probably caused by eating in the restaurant, as we hadn't eaten anything else for several hours before or after. We described this situation to the restaurant by email the next day and kindly asked for the circumstances to be examined so that no other guests were affected and for appropriate compensation. In less than 24 hours there was a response from management claiming that other guests had been contacted with the same meal and nothing of the sort was found. However, this answer seems very unbelievable to me, since, as far as I know, the restaurants neither have the contact details of the guests (let alone will have received a response from all affected guests in less than 24 hours) nor can it be traced who ordered which dish. (I am attaching the email as a screenshot). To be honest, I am very disappointed - not only at the lack of acceptance of responsibility, but above all at the fact that the situation is being appeased with such an implausible excuse that borders on audacity.

Summary: good schnitzel as in every schnitzel but by far the unfriendly service. Will avoid the location in the future. I ordered two children's schnitzels and when they arrived they were half the size or smaller than normal. I've been going to the original ones for years and know exactly how big they are. I told a waiter (picture on the website so probably a chef there) and was assured that it was the right size. Well okay. No big deal, it just happens. 20 minutes later we order another one - and this time it's the right size. I kindly point this out to him and all he does is turn around and roll his eyes (my friend saw the eye roll, I only saw his back). Not a word. No apology. Nothing. I can't understand the attitude of people like this - or why they work in the catering industry. A schnitzel that is too small is not a big problem. I would even think that the boss would be happy if I pointed out the inconsistency of his products. But if you then treat guests unfriendly it immediately becomes a big problem. After that our table seemed to be avoided. Empty plates weren't cleared away for 15 minutes and we waited just as long for a last drink. Unfortunately, this attitude exists too often in Berlin. So far I have found the schnitzel protected from it. I only had good experiences in the other locations, but I will avoid them in the future.

Excellent German cuisine and precise, kind service.

My husband and I have arrived for dinner. We ordered the tapas, which were very mediocre, and a chanterelle salad, which was completely tasteless. The service is absolutely disinterested - one waiter didn't even ask us if we liked everything. But of course he didn't forget to say that we could leave him a tip... Unfortunately I cannot recommend this restaurant.

Stopped in for a drink and loved the choices. Settled on a house Reisling, well it's a vineyard they have partnered with and the results are very favourable. The staff couldn't have been more hospitable to two hot tourists in need of respite from a sultry 33’ Berlin. A classy joint!

Das Essen, Cordon grün 21 und andere Schnitzel 24-27,50 haben allen geschmeckt und satt gemacht. Nur die Bratkartoffeln wurden teils als zu dunkel, trocken und zu fett empfunden. Das beigefügte Grünzeug war gut. Der Service war schnell, aber Nachbestellung von Getränken "schienen nicht erwünscht" zu sein. Es wurde vom Kellner nicht gefragt. Als es endlich gelungen war zu ordern, musste nach langem warten erinnert werden. Wenn man in der Nähe wohnt o.k. Sonst findet man wohl etwas Überzeugenderes.

The price is very expensive for schnitzel. I also ate beans, mushrooms in a bowl with thin sauce. I didn't eat either. In the end I paid 100 euros for three people with a tip and then ate at home because I wasn't full. Everyone has to decide for themselves

A pleasant visit. Overall, the food was very solid, only the asparagus was really very expensive. However, the service staff doesn't seem to be particularly trained; there were errors when ordering and overall the team outside seemed quite overwhelmed (which is generally okay in summer).

Cheers to the chef. How you can pound a pork schnitzel so thin is a mystery to me. Bacon potato salad was tasty, but the schnitzel lacked seasoning. I couldn't taste the special house breading and the marinating with mustard and horseradish. It's a lovely place to sit outside and be greeted with a small drink. Surprisingly, this almost always automatically means beer, without first clarifying the desire for alcohol. Hearty German dishes are offered, including vegetarian ones. The German tapas were also good on several visits. I think it's a shame that Königsberger Klopse, of all things, is only offered in a vegetarian version. The manager is on the ball and very friendly. I recently tried the Kaiserschmarren. It was quite good, but could have been a little more caramelized. But above all, it was announced on the menu with raisins. When I told the waitress when I was clearing away that my Kaiserschmarren came without raisins but was still good, she thought it was right to accuse me of overlooking the raisins. Not very professional.

The schnitzel is significantly smaller than in the advertising photos but is definitely tasty. At just under €30 for a Jägerschnitzel, it is unacceptable that the green beans are squeaky and almost raw. The service wasn't interested in this comment. Maybe he couldn't understand us either because it was quite loud.

A big group of us came here and all had vegetarian options. We had the Austernpilz (oyster mushroom) and fried potato as a side (rather than the potato salad). Some of us didn’t love the oyster mushroom schnitzel, it’s a bit different and fried/schnitzeled foods can be tricky. The Spatzle and bean option was super yummy!! And free beer / apple cider when you got there. The staff were generally nice & helpful!

Food was nothing special, not really recommended. More of a tourist trap! The service is a complete disaster, not organized. Wishes that were previously expressed were not implemented. Since when do you pay rent for a plate?!? The Berlin rental prices are an outrage, but paying rent for a plate is sheer absurdity, considering that they are cheap plates. Definitely not suitable for birthdays and celebrations!!! The only explanation for the good reviews here is that they had bad reviews deleted by a lawyer.

They actually charge you money if you bring your cake for your birthday. I asked beforehand if they had a pastry chef and perhaps had a cake, but I was told no, but I was still welcome to bring one. When I was there, I handed the cake in beforehand and was told that there would be a small extra charge for it. I said no problem and thought that a few candles would just be put on it and it would be served sliced. A little money would be fine for that. When the cake came, it simply came back in the same Tupperware and a stack of plates was then asked for money. When I asked the main waitress about it, she said yes, that's right, we didn't eat dessert and then they asked for money for it. I've never experienced something like that in any restaurant before - there was no congratulations, no effort and I don't know how one can expect customers to be satisfied after something like that and come back. Simply very disappointing. I think restaurants should be happy when you celebrate there and not charge extra money. You have to imagine that every other restaurant still serves schnapps or something similar, so how can the boss think that, yes, that's how we do it, no one has a problem with it, it's very hospitable and completely normal. But in the end you save a 30 euro tip and in return you get your 10 euro plate deposit.

I wasn't quite sure at first , due to the hype and,such BUT it was great: the quality of the meals impressed me and the staff was friendly as well as polite.The overall mood was hospitable , relaxed and cheerful.

We always enjoy coming here. The staff is very friendly and quick. The food is very good. Depending on the dish, the portion is also generous. If you really want to criticize something, then you can criticize that the schnitzels no longer seem to float when frying (you can see this at the points of contact with the pan on the schnitzel (see photo)) and therefore no longer produce such nice bubbles. But as I said, complaining on a higher level. We're always happy to come back!

We spent a wonderful Friday evening here. It got very busy after around 6pm and I highly recommend making a reservation if you want to get a spot. Reservations can be made very easily and conveniently via an online portal. When the weather is nice you can sit at some tables outside with a view of the park (and playground). As a welcome, there is a free small glass of beer or naturally cloudy apple spritzer. The menu is extensive and, contrary to what the name of the restaurant might suggest, there is a large vegetarian selection. On the occasion of a birthday we probably spent more money than usual, but the prices were definitely high - but in our opinion appropriate for what was on offer. We were served very friendly, courteous and quickly. The food was excellent, the portions were a pleasant size. We were full but not overly full, so there was still room for dessert. I recommend the 3-tapas dessert plate, which offers three different varieties in smaller portions. The guest room in an old Berlin building is very high and voluminous, which led to what felt like a fairly high noise level. The toilets were clean and well maintained.

I had made a reservation for 5 people online a week in advance. The day before I was asked by email whether the reservation would remain the same. The welcome was warm. The table was sufficient in size. As a welcome, we were served a choice of beer or apple juice spritzer - I found the latter very tasty. The menu is sufficient, yet clear and there are also other dishes if you don't like schnitzel. As a starter we chose tapas with 6 different small bowls that you could choose from - from bratwurst to currywurst, black pudding, goat cheese, baked potatoes with quark and linseed oil, Obazda. Really delicious and something for everyone. For the main course we all decided on schnitzel. As a side dish you could choose between fried potatoes and lukewarm potato cucumber salad. There were also home-made French fries - actually reserved for younger guests, but we also got them upon request. One downer: The fried potatoes were nicely cross-fried, unfortunately without bacon and onions. The potato salad was a bit too sour for me personally - the really great and friendly waitress immediately offered me an alternative - I then decided on fries - very tasty. The schnitzels were large and also very tasty. The cucumber salad wasn't really my thing, but the rest of the family enjoyed it. The desserts were also very tasty. At this point I would like to mention that the "birthday child" was served a dessert on the house - including Toblerone mousse - delicious! The espresso is also highly recommended - hot and strong The service was very attentive and always friendly - actually kind. The price-performance ratio is consistent. Conclusion: A lovely evening, with delicious food and drinks. We will definitely come back. Note on volume: Yes, it is loud. But that's normal when a location is as busy as this one. Where many people gather and hang out, people talk and laugh. We didn't find it bothersome. But of course it can be uncomfortable for people who are sensitive to noise.

First of all we were greeted very nicely - apart from that there is even a small welcome beer - great idea, not only because it tastes good but also because it is a nice gift. The schnitzels are very good, my Cordon Bleu was generously filled with Appenzeller (I think)... really tasty!! Even the vegetarian schnitzels sound good, I'll try one soon. So it's worth coming here and trying it out! :-)) Note on the facilities: Even the men's toilet has a changing table with free equipment: great!

Outstanding restaurant if you're in the mood for home-style cooking! The starters in the form of three “tapas” were also very good. We have already been guests in Charlottenburg and now here in Wilmersdorf - both times we can only recommend it!

Toll was aus dem alten Landauer gemacht wurde. Deutsche Küche erfindet sich neu, auch als Nicht-Veganer muss ich sagen, die veganen und vegetarischen Gerichte machen nicht nur neugierig, sie schmecken auch hervorragend! Wir kommen nun regelmäßig.
