Schmitte in Fellbach

We were a walk in as we were only staying here for one night. Very friendly welcome. Loved the decor and the ambience. The food was superb. Tasty and fresh. I had the Pasta aus dem Parmesanlaib with pesto, Dinsa Gourmet and kids spaghetti. I would highly recommend.

You have to go there if you want to eat delicious and unusual food.

Unfortunately, despite friendly communication, they're very inflexible. They probably no longer feel the need to accommodate customer requests.

We can only praise Die Schmitte highly! Our wedding there was simply perfect. The entire planning and coordination beforehand was incredibly pleasant. We were in regular, close contact with Frieder, who always took plenty of time to accommodate all our wishes. This was truly amazing support and gave us a lot of confidence! The food was an absolute dream – everything was delicious and of the highest quality. The service was outstanding – all the staff were friendly, attentive, and made the day unforgettable for us and our guests. We simply felt completely at home and were able to enjoy the celebration to the fullest. The atmosphere in the venue is very cozy, and it provides the perfect setting for a wonderful celebration. Our guests were also absolutely thrilled with the location and the service – everyone felt very comfortable. I can wholeheartedly recommend Die Schmitte to anyone looking for a cozy, stylish venue with high-quality food and excellent service. We couldn't have wished for a better place for our wedding!

The Schmitte in Fellbach is an absolute tip! The atmosphere is cozy – like a living room where you immediately feel at home. The food is great: creative dishes made from regional and seasonal ingredients. I liked the homemade sourdough dinsa – crispy and aromatic. The service was warm and attentive.

“Dinsa” with burrata, summer salad with salmon, pasta with truffles – everything was really tasty and the portions were a perfect size! I found it particularly nice how well-known flavors from Swabian cuisine are reinterpreted here. My highlight was the mousse au chocolate based on the Black Forest cake. I can only say something to a limited extent about the service since I ordered takeaway. But I received a very friendly welcome :) Please keep it up!

We went there for dinner last night. After searching on Google, we had the best impression and a great menu here. We were welcomed by a great boss and ate really well and the wine recommendation was perfect. Everything is very relaxed and a place to feel good. I can only recommend it and finally a compliment to the kitchen. Keep it up. Greetings from Filstal. The journey is worth it.

Many thanks to the team, I had dinner with a friend last night, it was delicious and the service was so lovely. We had a delicious asparagus soup, a super tasty salad with a great dressing and the cod 👍. I'll be back quickly... This is how the weekend can start in a relaxed way 😀

Very nice open atmosphere. Great attentive quiet service. The menu is balanced and there is something for everyone. I had a salmon tartare which couldn't be beaten in terms of taste and presentation. As the main course, the Dinsa with beef ragout and butter crumbs to kneel down on 😘 Our table was very satisfied. Keep it up and we'll see each other again soon. What a great place! The food is very tasty. I opted for the fish this time. The menu doesn't have much of a variety, but it replace quite often. The portion size is ok, but it could be a bit bigger. The place is nicely decorated. The staff however has the tendency to forget what you asked for.

Very nice restaurant with delicious food, very nice service and pleasantly calm decor. Simply a cool place in the neighborhood for a casual dinner. The Dinsas are great, but the cod is also very appealing. Wine list top and reasonably priced. Only a third dessert would be nice, for example apple fritters, oven pancakes or something else local. In summary: keep it up!

During my brief visit due to meetings, I had the pleasure of trying their house lemonade, which was absolutely fantastic. The cheesecake dish was also a delightful treat. I'm eagerly looking forward to returning for dinner in the near future.

5 Sterne! Qualitativ hochwertiges Essen kombiniert mit einem tollen Ambiente und zuvorkommenden Service. Kann man nur weiterempfehlen.

Waren hier letztens Frühstücken. Vorweggenommen: Das Ambiente ist super schön! Wirklich modern und fancy. Aber: Alle, die den Lachsbagel bestellt haben, waren nicht zufrieden. Der Bagel war relativ hart und ein wenig zäh, der Lachs war nicht so, wie man guten Lachs sonst gewöhnt ist, es gab zu viel Öl und irgendwie hat sichs nicht rund angefühlt. Somit hat das Essen (zumindest für diejenigen die den Lachsbagel hatten) leider nicht überzeugen können. Service war an sich sehr freundlich und aufmerksam, aber die Bedienung hatte wohl ein wenig Orangensaft über meine Jacke verschüttet und nichts gesagt. Als es mir aufgefallen ist, habe ich die Jacke selbst vor Ort sauber gemacht... ist jetzt kein Weltuntergang, aber eine kleine Anmerkung kann man eigentlich schon erwarten. Preislich übrigens eher gehoben.

Die Schmitte ist einfach etwas Besonderes 🥰 Ich war zum Abendessen hier. Alle Gerichte wurden mit Liebe zubereitet, waren frisch und lecker bei gemütlicher Atmosphäre! Für mich als Vegetarierin gab es eine super Auswahl und auch VeganerInnen finden hier etwas Leckeres zu essen.. absolut empfehlenswert! Mein Highlight war das Dessert!...habe noch nie einen so frischen und leckeren Germknödel gegessen wie hier🥰

We had a delicious dinner at a very fair price. The waiter was great and helped explain the menu in English. The pumpkin soup was fantastic and our entrees were just as good. Unfortunately, we were only in Fellbach for 1 night and couldn’t go back.

Dieses kleine Restaurant in der Mitte von Schmiden, was aus meiner Sicht auch zum Namen Schmitte führte, ist ein sehr schönes kleines Restaurant mit einem echten Wohlfühlambiente. Der Inhaber und alle Bedienungen sind sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Es wird eine kleine aber sehr feine Karte geboten, die regelmäßig geändert wird. Es werden bekannte Gerichte neu und modern interpretiert. Wir haben hier mittlerweile schon mehrfach gegessenen sind noch nie enttäuscht worden. Es empfiehlt sich auf Grund der Größe des Restaurants einen Tisch zu reservieren, wenn man in größerer Runde Essen möchte. Wir können das Restaurant aus vollem Herzen empfehlen und werden auch in Zukunft immer wieder gerne hier Gast sein. Zusätzlich bietet das Restaurant am Samstag Brunch an und an einigen Tagen der Woche auch einen Lunch. Nachmittags hat es leckere hausgemachte Kuchen. Von der Abendkarte kann ab 18.00 Ihr bestellt werden.
